On Tuesday, January 2,2024, I recently bought a new iphone from Telus and needed help transferring data from my previous iphone. I called Apple for assistance and the representative (male) that was on the phone was amazing help. He stayed on the phone giving detailed instructions. Very grateful for him and his services.:) Wish I remembered his name.

I went during the week and around 1pm. Walked into the store and in less than 30 seconds, an apple staff already offered to help me and directed me to the area where the item I wanted to purchase is located. Another staff then approached me and assisted me with the purchase. My duration at the store took probably less than 5 minutes. Very efficient.

Very disappointed by the idea of service at Apple.
How this could be possible, the new laptop cost 1499 and to repair the water damage is 2100? My mind is blowing, how! Yes I don’t have an Apple care, which is another rip off, I the money I spent for the Apple care for the 7 month, plus the fees to replace the broken part will be almost 1300+ not a big difference… very disappointed.
It’s easier to buy a new one instead repairing.
Think about recycling… yeah please…

Disappointed, as i found an Apple watch, i ask for some clues to help me to find the owner. The " big apple man" told me that it is private and can't do anything. I found an easy way to contact the owner, who needs help in this situation? ! First time when i entered an Apple store and i was really disappointed of the unprofessional manner they answered, smiling wide and so sure of him!

Dealing with anybody in this store to resolve an issue is not worth the headache. They will not try and solve a problem rather try and upsell you on a product. Terrible store.

When you get there the security is nice, but apple employees act as if they are gods and have no time to acknowledge you. I have been to this genius bar so often, that I am tired of apple products.

When you show up for your appointment window they make you wait to support their business
When you are late for your pickup they make you wait and make you feel like the customer is careless and his business is unwanted

The technician told me it can’t be fixed and it happens so there is nothing he can do
My main problem was that my phone went off while updating the iOS.

The store manager, the repair technicians and the Genius Bar are excruciatingly rude. Not only did they forcefully try to get me to replace my logic board they blamed and acted inappropriately towards me. The behaviour at this location should be addressed by a higher admin personnel. The store manager and the specific repair tech was incredibly pompous and egotistical. GO TO SHERWAY, the staff there were SO nice and actually know how to respect customers.a basic concept which Apple square one lacks.

Love the staff, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had an appointment for my macbook air, the guy helping me was really great as i had a problem with my trackpad which would not click. He did few troubleshooting things then told be to get it replaced and it worked.

I returned a selfi stick purchased through Apple on-line, and was told by the manager Andrew S that he could not accept it as he does not carry the item.
After much deliberation he tells me that I had already initiated the return (which I did not) on line and that’s why he won’t accept it. His comments was for me to do it online.
I can accept the truth that he doesn’t want to refund my money as it was purchased directly from Apple on line. I just cannot tolerate defiant lies so as to get me out of the store.
I certainly will avoid this location and will reconsider my investment with Apple.
Sorry Apple- wonder why the stock is not doing that great!

I made an appointment for a phone screen repair over a month ago. I provided my serial number and phone model when making the appointment. A week later I go to my appointment and they didn't have the screen in stock even though I already provided the model and serial number. They said I'd get an email within 3-5 business days when the part came in. After 2 weeks I didn't get an email so I called to follow up. I was told my part had come in but I never came in for the repair so they gave it to someone else. I was never notified the part came in. They had to order the part again. This time, I got an email. I took my phone in for repair again and they said it would take an hour to fix. It took 2 hours. I spoke my concerns to a manager and she said there is nothing they can do for me but apologize. All around this has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend this Apple store to anyone looking for a product repair. Apple could have definitely done more to make it right.

I’ve had my MacBook Pro 13 inch (2016) for about 2 years now. One tip for anyone who has anything wrong with their apple product, is to make sure you book an appointment in advance. Otherwise you’ll be sitting there for a while or if you want, you could walk around the mall for a few hours depending on how busy they are. Anyway, I find it quite difficult to understand why such a expensive and “quality” laptop such as a MacBook Pro, is so prone to breaking. The Problem I had with the laptop, is when I couldn’t log into my into it, it’d boot up the login screen but when I typed in my password, it would type in these weird characters. Clearly the keyboard had a defect, which resulted in Apple having to fix it for free, since I have the $300 warranty, that only lasts 3 years, I was able to get it fixed free of charge. It would have costed about $500, not including taxes.

This time the back light on the screen doesn’t work, the lcd itself is on but you can barely see the screen. It looks like one of those OG gameboys from the 90’s. If I didn’t have the warranty this time, it’d cost over $1300 in repairs. They said it’d be fixed in 3-5 days, but it’s been a week now and I haven’t gotten a email from them. Don’t get me wrong, I love Apple, it’s just I always have problems with their MacBooks. I work on music and I produce my own beats, I also have a lot of work to do for school so it makes it quite difficult when my laptop is constantly breaking. Especially when my laptop breaks and I lose the memory all the memory. At this point I really don’t find it that surprising how most Apple products seem to break right after apples one year warranty

I see a lot of people complaining about the customer service but whenever I go the people are usually very polite and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the employees and I’ve been going to this location for years.

Don’t buy a MacBook if you can just barely afford it. If you run into problems and you don’t have the extra warranty, or extra cash, you’re out of luck. We shouldn’t have to worry about a “luxury and quality” laptop since we pay so much for them. When the specs are the equivalent of a cheaper laptop. And for the last time. GET THAT WARRANTY IF YOU CAN, YOU’LL NEED IT!

This stire is always very busy, for a walk in i always have to wait for atleast 30 minutes. For their genius bar the appointments alwaysa have 2-3 weeks waiting time. Also, even after reaching on time for any appointment i had to wait. Overall very busy and long wait times.

Staff were extremely rude to my mother, she went in to exchange headphones she had just bought that didn't work. They booked her an appointment time 3 hours from going into the store, but told her it would only be 30 minutes. And then after waiting an hour she had to leave. All she needed to do was exchange something I don't understand why it needed an appointment, now I'll have to go back to Apple again to exchange it. This is why I use android.

I had very bad experience with apple store at square one. I purchased i phone x 3 months ago since it was the newest edition, I thought it would be a great upgrade to me but over the last 2 months I noticed that many outgoing and incoming calls are failing.
This happened many times with me, I checked the service carrier, changed my sim card and updated the iOS system and even did a system restore and just kept getting the same problem.
I wasted 5 hrs waiting at apple store in square one coz I thought somebody can help me with this issue but it appeared that no one could help me figuring it out.
I came to know later that many people using i phone x are having the same issue
When i paid 1300$, I expected something perfect not getting call failed which is really annoying to my customers and affecting my business.
Purchasing i phone x was the biggest failure in my life as I am extremely frustrated
My advice to anyone who is thinking to purchase i phone x.plzzzzx think again

Not empressed. Made an appointment drove 40 klm got phone 8 months ago had a diagnostic test and it says battery problems. Asked about the warenty said I would have to pay 40.00 to replace battery. In my opinion should be covered. What a waste of my time I had to allocate 3 hours of time just to be told this.

Worst customer service at this location! I walked out spending $1560 on a brand XS only to get rushed out of the store, with no help in setting up my new phone. Square One Apple has employees that need to be retrained and need to check their egos at the door before they start their shifts.

On my way to return this new purchase! You made the decision to switch back to Andriod SO EASY for me Apple, I'd rather take my money elsewhere! Thank you but no thank you.

Way too busy and lack of process to efficiently service customers. I was really disappointed in the manner their employees treated customers, especially those who didn't speak English well. Our tech was great though albeit took over an hour to replace an iPhone battery. Their triaging of the issue is extremely long to get to the same solution proposed by the customer.replace the battery. Took us from 11am to 4pm to get two batteries replaced.

We registered with the advisor to purchase the iPad. We wait for more than half an hour until they are closing down. No one come to serve or even to let us know they are done for the day. We complained and eventually they found someone to help us. When we are about to pay we noticed that the price in store is higher from their website by 14 dollars. They provide no explanation and will not match either. Not that it matters by 14 bucks for a 700 purchase. I called this bad service. But too bad, is an Apple. What can you do?

The staffs are friendly and appear to be helpful, but they can’t get things done. I booked a battery change and was told the battery was out of stock. They said they will call me once the battery is in. However I nevered got called until I physically showed up in the store and asked for it. Then they made an appointment with me on Saturday. I dropped my phone off at 11: 30and was told to come back to get it in one hour. When I came back at 12: 30 they said they need another 10mins. Okay that’s okay, came back in another 10-15mins they still need another 20 mins. Still okay with me, it just kept going over and over and after two hours my phone is still not ready. What the hell is this? Why not just told me to come back in 3 hours so I can plan my other things. Very disappointed. The staff promised things very well but couldn’t keep their promise.

You can check out all the various latest apple products here in person as well as purchase any you might like. Place tends to be very crowded during weekends and rush hours but the high stock of products means that you will still get a chance to see all the devices.

Best customer service here, I try going to the one on bramalea mall, they said was the same, but absolutely not, they dont have nobody in there and always want to make appointments, and dont solve problems, at square one even whitout reservation, and full of customers they take you and you come out happy, ps dont go to jump+, waste of time

I came here without an appointment to replace my iPhone 6 cellphone battery. It's been on my to do list for 6 months so far and today was mission day.

This store is located within the beautiful modern Square One Shopping Centre.

Once the store opened, I queued up to get an Apple Associate to book me for a walk-in appointment. Their estimated wait time for me was 30 minutes.

I was able to find comfortable seating outside the store awaiting my turn.

Half hour later I was at the Genius Bar speaking with Lequan. He ran tests on the hardware, explained the results, had me read and sign legal disclaimers and wrapped up the paperwork. A super customer service experience!

My iPhone with a new battery will be ready in 60 minutes for pickup. I’m going for lunch now.

Not that this review would Manir any difference, but this store isn’t the one you want to go to for any quick solution. For a simple solution with Apple Pay on my phone, I was told that since I have purchased this phone in india, it can’t be configured. On the other hand, apple support on phone helped me configure it. Also, any time you head there, the staff says there is a wait time. This is even when you head there when the store has just opened early morning. If you need a solution, avoid this store. Head to the one at sherway mall.
