I visited apple dufferin mall. After checking the display products, we asked store associate (Mr. Massi) to help us. He said wait for 1 second but he didn’t came and he was start helping other customers. (That’s a bad behaviour). After that Mr. JAAN and Mr. FRANKIE helped us.

Wish I could give this store negative 5 stars. The staff was very judgmental because I came into the store with my work clothes on and nobody helped me. I suggest you buy samsung apple products are terrible.

My go to Apple Store location for years (as it’s the nearest), all workers are very nice and friendly and are ready to assist at anytime when they aren’t busy. This location is very busy (especially on weekends) so appointments are 100% recommended. Appointments are incredibly easy to make and time efficient. The store is really clean, has many spots to sit and fun to test out all the devices.

Repair speed is incredibly fast, I brought my macbook air for a screen replacement and was estimated 5 days for it to be ready for pickup but it was finished and ready by the next day, despite it being nearing the holidays so it gets really busy. Another time I brought something in for repair, the part was not in stock so they had to order it, took about 3 days for it to arrive and on the fourth day they repaired it and I picked it up.

A few years ago, I had an old iPad that was in terrible condition and I brought it in to get it fixed, they unfortunately said they were unable to fix it but they gave me a brand new one, even without applecare or warranty. I had forgot his name but excellent customer service.

Bought a new Macbook Pro in March. By the beginning of October, the charger had stopped working so I brought it in to be replaced. I arrived at Apple Yorkdale and found an employee. They told me I had to stand in line to talk to someone and gestured to an area where there was no one standing in any lines. Another employee said there was no line and would help me. They took my name and info and said they'd text me in 25 minutes. I walked around the mall for an hour. There was no text so I went back to the Apple Store.found another employee who looked up my info and told me I had an appointment set up for 12: 30. It was 11: 15 and I had already waited around for an hour. No one had previously mentioned anything about an appointment. This is all to simply exchange a power cord.
I waited around again and finally talked to someone about my issue. They said they could replace my cord since it was still under warranty. But they had none in stock so it would be a couple days. But since I needed to charge my computer, they said I could buy a cord off the shelf and return it when my replacement comes in (why can't they just use the one on the shelf as the replacement?). This was all on October 2nd. It's now November 12th and I'm still waiting for my new power cord. Apple has the worst customer service on the planet. The convoluted machinations in place to simply replace a defective power cord still under warranty are ridiculous. In any other store, you'd simply walk in and they'd swap for a new one.

Lea was the best sales rep I’ve ever dealt with in any Apple Store, I might’ve had the most difficult request in the world however she happily did everything I needed as fast as possible. Great experience, would recommend.

Worst experience ever. My phone worked alright before visiting the store, you read it correct! I went in to replace my battery, I already had a third party display. They opened my phone, saw there’s a third party display and still without confirmation went ahead with replacing my battery. After the service, they told me it’s working alright even with the third party display, i was happy because now my phone won’t drain that fast, but a day later, my phone was in it’s worst condition ever, it died every hour even with 100% battery. I took the phone to them again and after an hour of checking they tell me it’s my fault! I didn’t tell them i had a third party display? Who is the expert here? They even erased all my 4years worth of data, And then they refunded and gave me back my phone as broken as they gave me after the service. In short I took the phone to them so that they could worsen my condition.
DON’T BRING YOUR PHONE HERE!

Bought iPad mini 5 years back, now it stopped working many apps. Apps say install latest iOS, but iPad mini says can't upgrade iOS and iPad mini is too old. If any Apple device is useful for only 3-5 years, then it's not worth to cost. We buy Apple for its reliability and long lasting, if that doesn't happen then it's worthless. I can't trade it as again it's too old. Waste of money. There are other brands which are much cheaper and gives more value for the money. I 1000% don't recommend Apple.

Unsatisfactory experience at the Genius bar with Andrew. Dismissed my concerns without checking the product and went home with a faulty product that I had to talk to customer service for an hour over. Haven't been satisfied with Apple CS as a whole lately. Fairview location is the same.

The store is very organized specially at this time of pandemic. Staffs are very prompt, accommodating and very helpful. The entire mall is not full but Apple store has still lots of shoppers.

Bought my phone and now battery is not working and needs a charge every 2 hours. The so called genius Barr representative tell me I need to pay to get my phone battery replaced. This is a ripoff when companies rip of people. I would say Steve is gone and gone is the Apple no reason to remain loyal with Apple. There is no reason to loyal with companies not loyal to its customers.

Awesome experience! I was told at an authorized Apple repair store that my phone was not fixable and that I needed a new one, which they then tried to sell me. I went to Apple Yorkdale to buy a new phone and they suggested trying again. The problem was solved immediately by a very helpful young man whose name I unfortunately cannot remember! No new phone needed!

I scheduled an appointment to purchase a new phone. Was very anxious about it as my old iPhone was dying and I know nothing technically, therefore the support person had to have an endless supply of patience when explaining the different options to me.
And he did. Troy was wonderful. He was both patient and sincere, with clear intelligent explanations. Consequently, I felt comfortable peppering him with questions as well as expressing my concerns when choosing a phone.

Alex was in charge of transferring everything from one phone to another.
That proved to be more difficult ; he kept on being interrupted, both by staff and customers.
He possessed incredible patience - Apple truly needs to hire more staff to meet this particular need.
I’d return to this Apple store in a heartbeat.

Being in one of the busiest malls in the GTA, the line-ups are incredibly long, but the staff are friendly and efficient to match it. Still, the wait time for an online order pick-up is long.

Zero coordination among the employees. They make you wait in the longest line possible, crammed with others who don’t even socially distance (and the associates don’t care to enforce it) when the store is empty, so they can pair you up with a sales associate even if you are not buying anything (e.g. The item you want is out of stock but you want to look at the floor model before placing an online order.

STANDING IN LINE CRAMMED WITH OTHERS WHO ARE NOT DISTANCING AND HAVE THEIR MASK HANGING OFF THEIR FACE IS NOT THE ANSWER.

They ask you what you are looking for in the line so they can check the stock, and I told the sales associate that I wanted to look at the iPhone 13 and I knew that they were out of stock but I would place an online order, and she made me wait in line forever. The sales associates that finished up with a customer would randomly disappear to the back when they were supposed to grab a new customer to take in the store. Mind you when I joined the line there were less than 10 people in front of me. We waited over an hour, until i was getting impatient while i was the next in line to go in, into an empty store, when i flagged down another associate and wondered why I couldn’t just go in to look at the phone and leave. THANK GOD she let me, she actually seemed surprised that I was told to wait even though I just wanted to take a look and leave, and she apologized. COORDINATE BETTER. Most of the employees were standing around fiddling with their thumbs… such an unorganized store.

I got in line to wait for my turn so that I can buy a phone. Then a rude associate popped over to ask if I have an appointment that gives me the privilege to wait in line. Because I didn’t, I was unceremoniously dumped out of the line and told to go back in 40 minutes. I thanked the associate, and told him to forget about getting my business.

I understand that we are living in unusual times, but the attitude could have been better. There was no signage to request an appointment be made, and According to the Apple website walk-in is welcome. Well, nothing about my experience made me feel welcome.

Guess what, Apple… you just lost a customer who has bought 3 iPads and 5 iPhones from you in the last 5 years.

I like Apple products. I really do! But Christ the amount of people lining up to purchase the new iPhone 13 scared me. We waited for quite a while before we finally managed to get in and grab the phone we had pre purchased online. However, service at any Apple store is always great, and Yorkdale is no different! Our helper, Marcus (if I'm remembering correctly) was wonderful, and very knowledgeable! My only complaint, and it's a big one, is how expensive everything seems to be here. A simple screen protector installation costs $39.99! And a phone case for a new iPhone 13 costs $69.99! At those prices, I might as well just buy a new phone! So yeah, great service, well designed store, and wonderful products end up getting short changed by long lines and crazy prices.

I went to Apple for an issue with my laptop. Guiseppe was so helpful and went the extra mile for me. He installed my software for me instead of making me come back in two days. Great customer service!

Customer service at this location is great! Staff are so friendly. However, good luck trying to get through on the phone. Every time they call about my repair, it takes me 7 or 8 times just to try to return the call because once I get transferred to someone the call hangs up. My new method is waiting for them to just call me back lol.

Not impressed with Apple service at yorkdale.the customer service did not have customer 's interest at all. Looking to purchase a $2000+ plus phone he did not have no interest for the sale because it was 530 and they are closing after they messed up our prior order. Or possible because we r not white and felt we could not afford the phone.

Worst apple store ever, Everyone working at the store calls himself/herself the manager.

Poor customer service, arrogant and rude, Couldn’t get any worse. The service. The people. This store is just employing mannerless people, they don’t even know what they are doing. Useless, Avoid this location if you want to keep your sanity, otherwise must buy headaches pills.

I wish this apple store had robots instead of these people at least they won’t talk to you with rudely.

I want to say thanks thanks thanks to you great people for fabulous support.

I went there as my phone disabled, without appointment, it was an emergency, Samantha was outside, I waited a bit, she was extremely helpful, knows how to deal with each client too, I’m really glad with her service, she solved my issue

This is a Very Nice Store. The Personnel is Very Helpful, Highly Professional, and Very Friendly. The Shopping Experience is Very Pleasant, Fulfilling, and Satisfying. They are Great and Excellent at what they do.

Kudos to the Yorkdale Apple team that made my originally frustrating experience amazing today! I was late for my Genius Bar appointment due to traffic and the difficulty of finding a parking spot. They were able to accommodate me and I think I only waited 5-10 minutes. Then Aaron (the superstar!) explained what was wrong with my iPhone in the easiest way possible and made everything super easy. He magically fixed my iPhone within 15 minutes (it has been on an Apple logo loop since Saturday afternoon) and we had a lovely chat while he helped me out. Also wanted to mention really good COVID procedures set in place, great crowd control, social distancing and it is much appreciated during these uncertain times.

Thank you guys for being so awesome and for helping out someone who had no clue what to do with her broken phone, you guys rock!

There are a ton of staff getting you your goods during the lockdown so the wait isn't too long. This is from buying a charger and wireless pad. May be different for different products.

I like their safety measures in place for covid. Ordering online and picking up in store is easy. BUT if something goes wrong, it seems like everything has to go through online - which can be a real hassle. They need to empower their store level employees more.

Horrible service. Brought my macbook pro. The so called Genius wouldn't open it up but insured me that my logic board was toast and quoted me $840. I figured out from a friend that it was actually a Ram issue and I fixed it for $60. Do not trust the people at Yorkdale Apple.

I have a late 2013 Macbook Pro that keeps freezing. In the lasts month I have called Apple Support at least 20 times, received about a dozen case numbers, dealt with senior advisors all of whom say either 1 of 2 things: one, buy a new macbook; two, change your hard drive. The Apple Store has confirmed there are no hardware issues. Great computers when they work, which they usually do. But if they don't, and you have a problem like mine, you are sent down the river without a paddle.

To make matter worse it seems Apple purposely loses track of previous calls due to the many Case #'s they give you, so don't fall for that one. Always keep the same one. If they say they wrote all the info down, call back and verify. It has happened to me that Apple Support said "we have your correct serial number now" and I called back, once and it wasn't changed. I gave them the right one again. I called back again, and it was still the wrong. Buyer beware when dealing with Apple Support.

It’s an Apple Store, so in that sense it’s the same as most other Apple Stores, although this is one of the biggest ones in the GTA, and while it’s always busy, it’s seldom crowded due to the large amount of space. Although the location has changed in the mall since it first opened (the original location is now occupied by the LEGO Store), this is still the first Apple Store to open in Canada. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the service is great, but that’s on par with every Apple Store I’ve visited.

Last visit to Yorkdale Apple Store was to return an iPhone and customer service representative (Sarah) was horrible. She refused to help and kept saying “we cannot do that” I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting 7-10 mins, I was told by Sarah that the manager (“Z” that’s what they called the manager and didn’t know what the manager’s actual name was) told her that she can handle the client herself and the manager doesn’t need to involve herself in this transaction. So In the end we left the store disappointed and were not able to return the phone. WE NEVER EXPECTED THAT FROM APPLE THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE FEELING I GOT FROM THAT ASSOCIATE WAS THAT SHE DIDNT WAN TO HELP US BECAUSE OF WHO WE ARE.

They have great customer service. When I lost my phone on the subway, they helped me track down the phone. Unfortunately, there is a glitch with the black iPhone 7+. It easily scratches (within hours of purchase). I replaced it thrice and each time hairline scratches appeared. The scratches are deep. Before that, the battery expanded on my iPhone 5 and dislodged the screen from the frame. They couldn't figure out how it happened. They had to replace that phone too.

I had such a bad experience today at the Apple store today in Yorkdale! My iPhone 8plus Is under warranty still and I have had many problems with it I kid you not I had the smallest crack on the display (the crack recently just happened) it is not the cause of the problems anyway they were willing to fix my phone battery that’s it! When there were nermous other problems with the phone. It gets better then the guy said we can replace the battery but there’s a chance your screen might brake while changing the battery and if so you will have to pay $250 if they BRAKE it while trying to take off the display I am extremely mad I am left now with a broken phone that over heats and shuts down!

Absolutely horrible service and staff. I took my IPhone 8 for a repair on the haptic feedback, just to tighten a loose screw. They said it’d be an hour wait. Instead, I was kept waiting for 2.5 hours. The staff didn’t show any sense of urgency, nor tried to fix my issue sooner at any point. All I was told was ‘it’ll be here soon’. The worst part is - they didn’t even fix up the issue whatsoever and replaced my screen instead, even though the screen was perfectly fine. So, in the end, not only was my issue not fixed after being kept waiting for so long, I also lost my screen protecter and have to buy a new one now. Staff definitely needs to be more customer-friendly and re-trained. Horrendous experience overall.

I love Apple products. I have used a 27” iMac late 2009. Next year she shall be 10 years old and works like a charm after a few upgrades. I also have Apple TV which is great to use and entertaining. Just purchased the 256 gig gold XS and Feels like a luxury item. I would give a 5 star however trying to book a Genius Bar appointment is very difficult and if you just show up it is a very long wait. They try their best however. I shall still stay a dedicated Apple fan!

I bought an imac on Black Friday and the promotion was a free gift card: it's Sunday, and I still don't have my gift card - though I do have two emails that say it's been sent to me, though it hasn't, and all I have to show for it is (at least) two hours wasted on the phone with customer support. I'll be returning my imac and filing a complaint with the competition bureau! So much for Black Friday at Apple!
