Appleton Clinic

This clinic is horrible. Don’t go for a sleep study here. The nurse’s directions were not clear to me and I missed an appointment due to miscommunication. I also have serious medical condition and when I tried explaining to them that this was also a factor in me missing the appointment, the secretary was condescending and rude. No empathy, no understanding, just the bill.

Had my sleep test done here 2 times. Both times was pleasant. Lynn my technician made me feel very comfortable and she was very knowledgeable and kind. Returned for result with Dr. Appleton and he also was great and funny. Overall I would highly recommend this clinic for your sleep test.

I would like to just comment on the patient whom thought i was the worst person that worked there, i first off would like to say sorry if i was rude or mistreated the situation and second i only follow orderds by the doctor so if i came off rude sorry but i do find that to be a false statement im never rude im very rescpectfull and would never talk down to a patient.but i do hope you found a resolution to your sleep problem and all is well take care.

The sleep tech was nothing but wonderful. I have also met Dr. Appleton, who is a great doctor. I found that this time, my second time at the clinic was pretty crummy. I tried for about a month to book an appointment, and had great difficulty hearing back from front desk staff. What really hurt though, is that I felt judged by the doctor who gave me my results. I take a number of medications for several health issues. Nothing I’m happy about, but it’s necessary at this time. After our consult, I felt embarrassed, as if I had done something wrong, or was somehow irresponsible in taking these multiple meds.

Fantastic. Third clinic I’ve been to, easily the best. It was like a hotel. Dr. Appleton is great too. Direct and Clear. His office facilitated the purchase of my machine with who I wanted to buy from. Highly recommended.

This facility is not disability accessible even though I was assured on the phone it was- my walker did not fit into the bathroom or even around the sleep study room itself and it is a standard size. They also wanted me to share a washroom with another patient during the COVID pandemic. 2 of the staff I saw had their masks under their noses and there were a ton of patients checking in at the same time. They also touched the infrared thermometer to my head and did NOT clean it afterwards. The staff were kind at least but I wouldn't recommend going here during the pandemic or as a disabled person.

I was extremely eager to get an appointment as my sleep apnea was really beginning to affect me daily. I was falling asleep everywhere I was gaining unwanted weight and would probably suffer some bad health issues. I was able to get a sleep study appointment at Appleton clinics quite quickly especially during this Covid Pandemic in November 2020.

I remember walking in there had a nurse on duty she gave me the instructions on the study and what I should expect during the study. They wired me up with a multitude of sensors and sent me off to bed in what looked like a hotel room. I was able to get to sleep right away I was awoken in the middle of the night as forewarned if my sleep apnea was severe and it was. They hooked me up to a CPAP machine and I was off to bed. I woke up in the morning after a great night sleep and I felt like a super hero energy vitality it was all there. They set me up straight away with an appointment to get a CPAP machine and the rest is history.

Dr. Appleton has called me o several occasions to monitor my situation and has demonstrated the utmost care for me as a patient. His concern for my well being is definitely noted these people want to make sure you receive great care and experience great quality of life. I cannot say thank you enough for all the good they have done for me as I feel I've got my life back and the best night's sleep since I can remember. Thanks a million guys I couldn't be happier.

I went to Appleton Clinic for a sleep study. It has convenient (free) parking, and was as comfortable as a sleep study possibly could be! Lucy set me at ease immediately with her calming demeanor and she thoroughly explained what to expect, what various things measured, etc. Rooms are set up connected by a shared bathroom but no one was in the room next door so it was essentially a private suite. It was incredibly clean, fairly quiet, and aside from the wires, a relaxing environment. The follow up with Dr. Appleton was exceptional. He took the time to build rapport, get to know my history, and explain results and next steps. I was impressed with all aspects of this experience!

Don’t know what these bad reviews are all about, had my sleep study there, and I slept just as good as I would at home (except for probes and wires) but even that was as neat and comfortable as possible. The night attendant Lynn was amazing and Susie was just as accommodating. Have my follow up next week. I will keep you posted. So far amazing experience much better then any other sleep study/clinic that I have attended. Comfortable bed, offered snacks, beverages and even clean showers are available. Highly recommended!

Dr Appleton is a very caring and understanding doctor. I reccomend, also Dave the receptionist always does his best to provide alot of information and he is very respectful.

The staff are not only have rude behavior and horrible attitude, but also Racists and were not allowing me to even speak. They absolutely need to be changed and replace them with friendly staff. Specially the customer representative, the one who usually make an appointment or reschedule with the costumers, she/ he very very rude.
Thanks Gad I didn’t Waste my time and saved my Insurance.

Appleton Clinic is one of the best clinics in Canada. As a patient, I can truly state that Dr. D. Appleton is great and very knowledgeable. He has always helped me when I needed assistance - or provided answers that my GP couldn't. Thankful that I can access this clinic under O. H. I. P. I have lived in other provinces in Canada - the quality of the Sleep Medicine Clinics and wait lists are not great outside of Ontario. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

The lab itself is great. It’s clean and nice. But the worst experience is the staff, especially Dave. He ruined my entire experience and I am reluctant to come back here again for a sleep study. His rude behavior and horrible attitude needs to be changed. Or they should replace him with friendly staff. Overall good lab horrible service.

This place is not a legit business. They were recommended to me by my doctor but I never ended up making an appointment. Then I get a bill from a collections agency saying I owe them 150$ for a missed appointment. No one had even called me to confirm so clearly no appointment was made. Truly disappointed with the lack of ethics from a place who's supposed to be helping people. Should be 0 stars and put out of business.
