Talk about a failing healthcare system now if you're out of province, you have to pay $100 to even see the doc to top it off your clinic says it's open, but doesn't mention that there's no walk-ins past 230 which is retarded.

0/10 wasn't told till I went to walk into the appointment after waiting for 2 hours they are charging $50 for walk in service even for basic prescription renewal because they don't have a doctor on site only want paid nurse practitioners. STOP PRIVATIZING OUR HEALTHCARE WE ARE DYING OUT HERE!

I've been to the Katimavik clinic twice, and there is a clinic manager / patient manager whose name is Tiffany who is professional, straightforward, and just particularly good. She has raised the bar of this clinic which is incredibly hard to do.

Thank you for your support and for being there.

They provide good services. Yes the waiting time can be long sometimes depending on the day that you go to the clinic. But I find that the doctors are good and professional and the nurses and receptionists as well. I would go back again.

I wanted to share my recent experience with Dr. Ifra Fahim Ata, a doctor at Apple Tree Medical Clinic in Ottawa, as I believe it is important to provide honest feedback. While I am not angry, I do feel a sense of frustration and disappointment with the way my situation was handled.

During my initial visit to the clinic a few weeks ago, the doctor advised me to undergo a long list of blood tests. Although I followed their recommendation, when I returned for a follow-up appointment to review the results, the doctor seemed to dismiss the idea that my symptoms were related to the blood report. However, upon insisting on further investigation, the doctor agreed to refer me to a specialist. I appreciated her willingness to make the referral and expressed my gratitude.

Unfortunately, my disappointment stems from what transpired afterwards. After waiting for another 15 minutes at the front desk for the staff to book a follow-up appointment with the specialist, I later discovered that no such appointment had been made. When I inquired about it through the clinic's telephone line three weeks later, I found that there were no future appointments in the system. Upon personally visiting the clinic and discussing the matter with the front desk, I sensed a certain skepticism from the representative, as if the referral was a lie from the get go. Despite their assurance that the referral was entered into their system, it was disheartening to learn that this was not the case. It felt like I had been misled twice.

In the same week, I decided to book a virtual appointment with the same clinic, this time with a different doctor. To my surprise, the new doctor promptly acknowledged my symptoms and immediately mentioned referring me to a specialist. True to their word, I received an email shortly after the appointment, providing me with the details of the upcoming specialist consultation.

What struck me as particularly frustrating was that the second doctor, coincidentally, referred me to the same specialist the first doctor had initially mentioned. This raised questions about the thoroughness of the initial doctor's assessment and their commitment to ensuring appropriate care.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, and that healthcare professionals are human too, I feel compelled to express my disappointment over the lack of integrity displayed during my experience. I firmly believe that all individuals, regardless of their background, should be held to the same standard of honesty and professionalism in their work.

As a patient, I value transparency, trust, and the assurance that my concerns are being addressed appropriately. It is essential for healthcare providers to uphold these values, as they directly impact patient well-being and satisfaction. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to share my honest review of this doctor's performance.

I hope my experience serves as constructive feedback to encourage improvements in the services provided at Apple Tree Medical Clinic.

Got an appointment with the Dr. Waited 2.5hrs but she was able to address my issue and referred me to the general surgeon the day after. Appletree always provided me with great service. I wish all the medical clinics were like this.

Thank you Appletree! You saved the day again.

Went to one of their walk-in clinics, they weren’t accepting walk-ins and would not let me make an appointment. Was directed to the site on Katimavik in Kanata, it’s closed, I call back and they say it will be open at 2. No one here at 2: 15, call them back only to have a different person tell me they are closed today. I didn’t think all the negative reviews could be true, turns out they are as bad as people say and worse

We have visited here today for B12 shot and they simply says no doctor and visit other center near etc… if no doctor why the clinic is open? It looks like they don’t even try to help or do service to people.
