Has the be the WORST service I've received. First time coming here and I've been waiting for 3HOURS. And people who just came (walk ins) and already taken care of. This is got to be the worst place I've ever putten my foot on and im not coming her again. 1 star is too much.

No issues here. Doc was kind, nice, prompt when I was advised to return, and they texted me to lmk when my appointment was good. 40 minutes early, as soon as I walked in, the room was full of people, and they called me immediately.

Idk what people are so dissatisfied with, because my visit was prompt quick, efficient and resolved -ish minus potential pneumonia lol.

Happy with these guys. Too bad the one near me closed down. If there’s any issues come here earlier than later.

Do not waste your time. After traveling accross the city and waiting several hours at Apple tree clinic, I received a prescription only to be told by the 4th pharmacist visited that Dr Amjad has prescribed me a medication that is DISCONTINUED. The pharmacy faxed Dr. Amjad to no avail- no answer for an alternative. I called? Absolutely no answer. I wasted my entire day and now am still left with a horrible infection.

Unorganized, staff looks like they hate being there and no one introduces themselves before care.

Badly run, badly managed, bad communication, no bathroom in waiting area, just plain awful. There was a gentleman who was first in line. Turns out he had registered for the doctor who was coming in later on, despite there being no information anywhere stating that, so he was bumped to the back of the line. Honestly reprehensible service

The wait was long but that's to be expected, especially with the population of Ottawa.

The doctor was really kind to me and my 5 year old autistic son I would go back if I need to see a doctor again!

Disgusting. They say open at830, nobody there, no tickets, no order the waiting room is by 9 full of ppl waiting for walking, and they say at 930 we will decide if we do walking or not.
Then even if u come first, u have to figth with all the 14 that came after u, to pass ur card and wait, wait to see if they decided to do walking or not.
Lack of respect of ppl time, condition, need, total lack of humanity, or common sense.

Don’t waste your time. We waited for four hours just to eventually be told that the doctor is going home early. No apology, no explanation.

We were told that it would be best if we waited in our car because the waiting room was at capacity. They assured us that they would text us when it’s our turn.
We checked in every hour to see where we were in the line and they kept us updated. After the fourth hour I walked in and asked where we were in the line, she said that the doctor had gone home early. When I asked her why she didn’t text/call to inform us she told me “if you were in here, we would have”

Now, we have to go sit in the emergency room all night even though we’ve already been waiting for this doctor for 4 hours. So disappointed.

Would have rated a 0 if that was an option. Was supposed to open at 830am and we arrived at 815. Waited in the waiting room with others waiting, no employees there! A Doctor arrived at 845 and couldn't even get in until an employee showed up at 9am. She didn't even speak to us and a room full of frustrated people waiting to see a Doctor are STILL waiting to be registered or spoken to at 9: 15. Website now says appointments only (supposed to be walk ins) Absolutely disgusting! Is this what our health care is now?

Blend of terrible front of house service with a doctor who's list of what he can't do is so long, I wasn't clear what he could.

Drove in from Bells Corners today, registration started at 930am and we got there at 1015 and was told they aren't taking any more walk-ins today. THE WAIT TIMES ON THE WEBSITE SAID 30 MINUTES TO SEE A DOCTOR AND WAS STILL BEING UPDATED WITH THE SAME INFO AFTER WE LEFT. RIDICULOUS.

Extremely unhelpful and inconsiderate staff. Apparently the doctor is not properly licensed to fill forms out which doesn't make much sense, even the woman before me was confused as to why he refused to correct a prescription (that she needed urgently) mistake made by him in the first place and was told to try another clinic instead. The health care system is really starting to get slack why become a doctor if you wont even perform routine services and corrections? !

Rushed and no experience doctors.
No one answers phone and booking online appointments is horrible experience.

Taking appointment so I have to wait a whole hour to be called. What is the purpose of appointments? NOTHING. THE WORST APPLE TREE BRANCH I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

I need to pick up MY medication that I paid for. Whoever was working in there looked me in the eye and ignored me! Disgusting

Wish I can give them zero star for their service. They don’t even deserve one! This location illustrates the best miniature of Ontario health care system.

Horrible wait times. The online feature doesn’t let you book appointments online …. Waiting 3 hours still haven’t seen a doctor. Won’t be coming back here

Just go to the hospital if you need actual care. They advertise that you will see a doctor to force you to come in just for them to only offer telemedicine with an overworked assistant. What a scam.

I would give it less stars, but Dr. Chapman is hands down THE BEST doctor I've had the pleasure of seeing. Sadly, since he seems to have left, this place isnt worth it. Wait times are always way off, the self check in kiosk has been broken since before covid. Since covid started you're lucky if this location is open at all, and even luckier if you get to actually SEE a doctor. Most times you end up seeing a student that isnt allowed to perform any medical procedures on you without a trained doctor supervising, which there never seems to be asides from telehealth. So, if you need your prescription renewed, I suppose this spot works. If you need anything more though, look elsewhere.

Their website information is misleading. Said there was a 15 minute wait for the walk-in clinic. Got there 20 minutes later and there was no more place available. What's with the 15 minute waiting time which is far from being true.

Went in after triple checking that they were open, the doctor had decided to leave 4 hours early. The door still said they were open and so did the website (updated just minutes before I arrived). Guess I should be glad since the doctor working has had his license suspended multiple times.

Horrible place, misdiagnosed me by saying it was just a flare up of my asthma when I knew it wasn’t. Told him my friends were diagnosed with bronchitis and he said that I didn’t have it and if my symptoms got worse to come back in. Went to the hospital and was told I could have gotten ammonia if I had waited like this clinic did.

Do not come here to get your covid antigen test for travel. The result does not specify anything else besides that you are positive or negative (not even time and date of test). Airlines require you to provide your DOB, date and time of test and passport number. Total waste of money and complete scam.

Pathetic irresponsible service. Went there twice and both they showed that they were there for only the money. Gave me prescription for stds without even asking whether I was active or not.

One of my worst experiences of customer service in my life. I paid for a medical test for an elective surgery and the results were not received.

Appletree Ottawa is a last resort option. Avoid if possible

Useless. I don’t know why this clinic even exists. Wouldn’t even let my child see the doctor said go to ER the doctor can’t do anything…. What the doctor can’t prescribe a prescription for an antibiotic? So I had to sit in the ER with my 5 year old for 6 hrs to hear he had an ear infection.

This clinic is the worst. If you didn’t make an appointment first don’t then bother going as a walk in because you’ll never get in. Wasted half of my day there and never got to see a doctor because as long as someone walks in with an appointment, they go first no matter how long you’ve been waiting.

I needed help with something important, like a check up, but because they are only telecom they sent me away.

Please do not waste your time and go there. Under staffed. Lack of organization, lack of communication, you will end up waiting there for 20 minutes and filling up an application then be told you won't be seen because of that. The place is very dirty and there were not enough chairs so you have to stand for a long time waiting for your turn.

Website said open until 8 and an hour wait time. Nope, they are closed. Seems like they can run a clinic or manage hours

I went in to this clinic on 17Dec2020. Someone who called me inside the clinic (a middlestian lady with hijab), she does not know anything about clients services! She didn’t treat me respectfully! She asked me to explain my problem without introducing herself, without providing me with a private place! When I asked, she just called herself a physician who is not registered in Canada!

I went into this clinic on November 17,2020. At the time there was one doctor working and as many times as your rang the bell no one would approach to assist you. I had to self register at a kiosk. During my two hour wait for a doctor. I watched many people approach the desk looking for assistance and at one point had to assist people at the kiosk because they also were elderly and incapable of doing so. After two hours a gentlemen called me and told me I can’t be seen but to schedule a virtual appointment with a doctor. I was blown away considering I was there for a potential strep throat and how could someone possibly know how to treat me without a proper exam or swap. The video chat lasted 5 minutes and I had a prescription ready to be picked up off a presumption based on symptoms. This couldn’t have gone more wrong. Due to me being in crucial amounts of pain I had no choice but to fill it. The next morning I woke up in anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the emergency. I also explained this story to doctors at the hospital and they couldn’t believe a doctor would prescribe something without a proper assessment. This clinic should be happy I don’t sue their practice. The system is broke and this needs to change. Do not open your doors if you cannot properly treat someone.

I haven’t had any luck getting a proper diagnosis with my issue in the past few months. I get conflicting reviews from the GP and specialist and when I asked to get another opinion, the GP refused to book me an appointment with another specialist. Also, I was told I had to come in person to review my test results, after being called two days in a row to come it. It made me panicked and I thought it was serious, but it turned out it’s only because they want to see patients face to face if possible to give test results, which to me is very irresponsible during covid. Try and avoid this clinic if possible!

Your better off going to the hospital or another walk in clinic besides apple tree.absolute garbage. There's no receptionist, no one ever answers the phone, the opening and closing hours are innacurate. Apple tree used to be alright, now. If I could give them 0 stars, I would! They don't deserve a 1 star rating.
Usually go to the general hospital on Queensway or Ottawa civic. I have been looking for a family doctor since I moved back to Ottawa. That has not been easy.fyi. You are better off to go online and make a virtual appointment.

This particular location is so filthy and so mismanaged. Christine Herron is an old incompetent bag that is incapable of scheduling staff. The way they treat their employees is unacceptable. Especially the triage staff paying them minimum wage and expecting them to clean the place and give flu shots after 3 hour injection training. Seriously steer clear of Apple Medical clinics. All they care about is the bottom line, not the patients.

Medical apt for our son was confirmed by phone and email by their office. The date the appointment we sit and wait for 45 minutes before being told that the dr we had made an apt to see was out of the country on vacation. Reached out to head office to give feedback about the administrative error and was completely ignored. The WORST customer service of my life.

Front desk lady Kia, very rude and very terse communicating with concerned patients who have completed the necessary.
This does not represent Canadian values; not reassuring.

Wrote this review while waiting at the reception for the past 30 mins and not a single staff member showed up at the front desk let alone address the need. Left the place without any assistance at all. One of the worst places to be in case of a medical need.

The doctor I saw was awesome. He was funny and kind and I didn't feel like he was just pushing me out the door. The wait time was a little long, but it was worth the wait

It doesn’t matter when you register with these guys, they maintain their own queue. If the receptionist likes you, no waiting. A couple of hours otherwise. Plus, the place is super dirty.

Sat there for 2 hours before the doctor decided to tell me to look at the fine print on a little piece of paper on the wall. The list contained everything you would see a doctor for and apparently he couldn't do anything on this list. Dont waste your time!

The lady at the reception desk closed registration over 2 and a half hours before the clinic closed. Had strep throat and had to go to emerg. Garbage!

After over 1.5 hours wait (I arrived as 3rd person in the morning), with a full waiting room, the receptionist mumbled to a few people who were standing in front of her that the doctor would not come today.

There was no announcement to the waiting room from the staff. It was the want-to-be patients who informed the others.

They must have known that the doctor was not in and would not be just a few minutes late. Why they did not announce that right away instead of having people wait for hours is beyond me.

Reading the reviews here it is now clear to me that I won't be coming back here and I can recommend the same to everyone else.

Extremely poor customer service. People who are sick and need to see a doctor should not be treated in this way. Very disappointing. Stay away from this place.

I went to this clinic at 830 am when it opened waited until 900 am and no receptionist. The ridiculous self registration wouldn't work, and would refer me to the non-existent receptionist

Depending on the days, you can have quick and caring staff or other times you will be waiting forever. I would say say about 70% of the time it is not well run and slow. Some days the staff would hide the desk bell so you can't ask for assistance at the front desk. Avoid this location if you can.

Tried to go to two different ones, on a Monday and both were closed at 4: 30. One at Westgate and the other on Merivale. I’m new here and it was suggested to me. Will never try going to any of these again. A note saying SORRY, check whiteboard for hours tomorrow. Zero care for public’s health.

Place opens at 9,12 ppl waiting. Doctor strolls in at 10: 15.10: 40 and he still hasn't called a single person. Group is up past 20 now.
Never again will I waste my time with this place.

Dr. Chapman and all the staff were amazing.

Yes there was a bit of a wait but they apologized and treated us incredibly well and Dr. Chapman really took his time to properly diagnose my partner and was really friendly, even though she was the past patient after a busy day.

A lot of the people coming in to the clinic were quite impatient and rude, which I assume is where these bad reviews come from. Be nice and treat the staff like human beings and they will be amazing to you.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. Saw 1 doctor who ordered x-rays. Got called 1 day later to get results. Seen by different doctor. He read me the report. I tried to explain that the x-ray didn't mention the area of my body that was the problem. He did not seem to understand English well and simply kept telling me, "I read you report". I left totally frustrated with no real answers. Went back a few days later and requested copies of my 2 medical notes. I was refused even though The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (who govern these doctors) states I am entitled to have access to my records and also get a copy for which I may have to pay a fee. They would not do this but said I could forward them to a doctor or lawyer, pay $45 for 2 sheets of paper and wait 6-8 weeks. Thank goodness The College had a complaints procedure.

Horrible service. Was told I would have an hour wait. Got my appointment. Left and came back in forty five minutes. Still waiting an hour and a half later. Was told I had five patients still ahead of me.the front desk personel actually hide in the back of the office. You are left in no man's land waiting in the dark like a mushroom. On top of this they knew I was trying to get back to work. Never comeback here again. Very discusted. Also all the disinfectant machines for your hands were empty. Stay away from this place if you have options.
