My partner and I own a unit at applewood
My advise if you want sleepless nights in your own property then purchase a unit here, the building is convenient but the board and management are awful! Many seniors who felt applewood was a home to them were forced to move, due to a very expensive window project that is not needed this project is extremely costly and for us specially we would be pushed and forced to take loans out for over 200,000$ may be more.the project is million and millions of dollars
majority of the windows are ttotally fine and yet we are pushed for this awful agenda!
Management is awful we have suggested many times we want a new management but for some reason the board refuses to make that change
White hill residential property’s a one google star management!
Don’t get fooled in getting a property here your maintenance will keep going up and up and your reserve funds going down and down
See the facts before you get a shady realtor who convinces you to buy at applewood! Management and the board will drain your bank account with 5 percent increase on your maintenance every year
They spend over budget for signs that were never needed, bad renovations everything is over budget and the reserve funds keep going and going
We regret getting a place here and selling our property won’t bring us a good market value so we are stuck for now
Your retirement is not enjoyed it’s sad that many seniors who lived at applewood were forced to sell as they could not afford the window project! Something serious needs to be done about all this
Some people who stay here feel oh this is a luxury building… well let me clarify that
The building is over 40 years old with old furnaces, the gym is so outdated they have used machinery that barely works, the security is always changing day to day
The renovations are falling apart as they were done badly
Elevators are old
The building is definitely not luxury it’s old
Luxury is definitely not a word I would use for applewood landmark and who ever thinks that is blind
