Easy to access, and navigate the building. Quiet and private.
Great place for families or single working professionals.

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS! WE HAD A MOUSE IN OUR HOUSE ALMOST 3 MONTH AGO AND THEY DID NOTHING! AND NOW ANOTHER ONE SHOWED UP IN THE HOUSE BECAUSE OF THERE DISGUSTING BUILDING AND CAUSE THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO TRY AND AT LEAST MAKE SURE THAT THEY CLEAN AND PUT MOUSE TRAP EVERYWHERE!

Our building in1055 Bloor street is full with mice. One of the neighbour caught 22 mice only in his apartment. I can’t express enough how bad is the situation in the building. Mice cause dangerous diseases that can lead to death. But there is no serious or effective action taken to help! We live in fear and we wake up at night because of sound of mice!

Worst building in Canada. Mice, rats and cockroaches are running everywhere and they are not doing anything about it. Our life is in hazard yet nothing is happening, it’s very disappointing, babies and elders are living in this building, it’s disgusting. Would really appreciate if you take care of this huge issue because no one is doing anything from the office

I've been living here for 16+ years it's a great location, but unfortunately, the management isn't very good at making repairs happen for longer-term tenants or complaints.

The office is biggest liars

I just came to this building for rent 2bedroom + Den and They show me in 17 floor but they tell me it’s same the first floor available And I make another appointment to see the first floor and when I came to see the first floor it’s too small the 2bedroom and no Den And they said oh sorry we don’t know They just waste your time

I lived there four years and it was a great experience, it is in a good location for me and was priced very well compared to other rental buildings. The maintenance staff is very diligent and always tried their best

Wished I read the reviews prior to renting. I was on a time crunch and needed a place. Finished my lease and left. Don’t let the lobby and common areas fool. The actual living experience and safety is below any standard.

1. I kept my apartment really clean but they had cockroaches
2. The windows are so old and in the winter it so cold. If you have children I don’t recommend.
3. They shut the water 1 or 2 times a month
4. Sketchy people roaming the building
5. The walk form underground parking to building is scary! There is a gap that’s open to public. Doors are heavy and they don’t open automatically. If you have a stroller you will struggle.
6. If your neighbour a chain smoker that smoke comes into your home. Second hand smoke at its finest.
8. For the most part I had good experience with management, slow to respond but I always emailed so there was always time stamps. Had horrible experience with management when I was moving out but she apologized once she realized the poor treatment.

Find some where else. It’s not worth the money.

0/5 to be honest. The reviews don’t lie. Worst experience ever. Deathly cold winters in my “heat included” apartment all winter long with my child. No wonder everyone is miserable here. It really concerns me how the seniors in this building hold up (there are many seniors here) Capreit is very shamelessly unethical in the treatment of its residents. There has been a water damage issue in my apartment (209) since the time I lived here and now when I’m moving out as soon as my year lease is up, they want to come fix it and expect me to accommodate now after all this time. All this time it was neglected- excuses upon excuses handed to me. Cockroaches everywhere and have to exterminate at my own expense they don’t even come look at it even if you put in a service request. Just feels disgusting living here at this point. They worked on the underground spaces for months on end and we were supposed to park in visitors with no parking reduction! Fire alarms are so noisy. It feels like living in an institution. My packages also got stolen right outside my apartment- they need a better system in place for this (Mail room? !). Just save yourself the cost of living here you can get a better apartment for roughly the same with everything included. For the people working for Capreit and supporting its horrible treatment of residents, raise your standards. I have been a pleasant tenant despite all these issues. Capreit residents all over Toronto are suffering! Check out Peel Acorn- they are taking action for tenant rights.

Awful building, full of roaches and rats, 3 elevators and only 1 working majority of the time, management avoids you at all costs, amenities have been closed for 2 years now, pool is advertised but not functional and the office says it never will be, if your thinking about moving here DONT!

My review is different i just wanna say i was looking for apartment and when i see the building of apple wood i just told my husband i like it but now when i saw the review i just changed my mind

You can change your name but you cannot change your spots you dirty birds.place was awful, messy, loud, BUGS ladies and gents many many bugs, avoid at all costs - it really should be torn down and rebuilt
