We were looking for a new stove, and had done our research. Ranjit was very knowledgeable and professional. She helped us confirm our choice. The stove was $320 cheaper here than at Costco on-line! Delivery was in 48 hours, whereas Costco needed 2 weeks. Delivery was excellent - the app made it real easy to know when they were coming, made it all an excellent experience. CHEAPER THAN COSTCO! Delivered a defective fridge and driver refused to take it back. Now they want me to fill a form and wait 2 days so they can decide if they would take it back! Customer service kept reading a script and refused escalation to a manager. My last transaction with this company.

We have recently purchased 4 sets of appliances for various projects and Appliance Canada is our go to supplier. The sales rep Fawad is fantastic to deal with. His customer service is excellent and he always spends the time to ensure that we get the best package and the best possible price. A 5 star review for Diane Rembacz, she helped us to select the appliances for our new house. Diane understands our needs and advised us accordingly, she also has a deep knowledge and she told us which will be the best for us. She is certainly not a pushy sales person and gives enough space to her clients to make a decision which was a big deal for us as we went to many stores & experienced that.

I just want to say that our Sales Rep. Mark has been a pleasure to work with. From the time we needed advice on what appliances to go with, and up until now over 1 year later as we are still receiving some of them due to covid delays, he has just been wonderful. Every time I message him he is on top of things always checking to see if our appliances have arrived. Any concerns we have had he has taken care of them right away. People of Canada, DO NOT, I say do not buy appliances from this company! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! We have scheduled our own plumber and a moving helper for this scheduled delivery and they canceled the delivery on the very same day. Unfortunately, their own delivery driver can make that decision because their behind from their own schedule. We’re supposed to be the first delivery of the day, that’s why we got up at 5 AM! Think twice before buying from this company! It can cost you more than the price of the appliances. Beware, if you cancel your order, they will keep 20% of your hard earned money, read the fine prints! We’re still waiting for their manager to get back with us! And because of this review and their decision maker delivery guy, this company will lose so much business all over Canada! I should really start reading the bad reviews first from now on. #ZeroStar Email has been sent, call me ASAP!

Don't typically leave reviews but this needed to be addressed.

If you want to order an appliance that will be delivered with defects TWICE only to have it sent back with NO REFUND (still waiting) and constantly being given the run around by customer service with no clarity, this is the place for you.

They've sent me emails saying they cannot process the refund when I've told them repeatedly they're submitting the wrong expiry date and STILL won't return my calls.

To summarize; no machine and NO refund.

Do yourselves a favour and run far away from this company.

Our builder referred us to Appliance Canada for appliances so of course we went with the recommendation. We ordered appliances through Dora a year ago. Finally our closing date approaches and we were promised a day our appliances would arrive. Day of, nothing. We call Dora off the hook and she never picks up and is slow to answer emails. Finally we get a reply and they tell us another day it’s coming. That day comes we didn’t get anything then we realized the tracking they gave us is for someone else’s order. Then more calls and time is wasted calling them trying to figure out where our appliances are. Finally, they actually show up on another day. BUT the movers had no idea they needed to bring the washer/dryer upstairs and they didn’t bring enough manpower to do so nor did they apparently get paid enough by Appliance Canada to do it. They said AC is cheap. Also movers wanted us to sign a damage waiver as they said bringing the washer/dryer tower up will damage our house as the turn is tight. Only way to do it is to detach the tower and bring it up one at a time. AGAIN, more calls to Dora that were ignored and finally when we reached her she said she’s never heard of anyone detaching the washer/dryer tower and doesn’t think that is possible. At this point, it’s obvious we’re better off relying on ourselves than Appliance Canada. We ended up finding a video about how to detach the washer/dryer tower, found a guy to help us detach and had to pay the movers extra to come back to bring the washer and dryer up one at a time. For every installation we kept having to pay extra for things too.

Lastly after we got all our appliances, my husband kept getting email updates of other people’s deliveries. We closed for a month and still he received a phone call couple days ago notifying him that they have our appliances now. Errr? We had them delivered a month ago? Or do we have someone else’s order? We are SO confused. How unprofessional and disorganized to say the least!

The sale was easy but the delivery and installation was unnecessarily difficult. Lots of empty promises. One of the worst experiences EVER.

Absolute joke of a company. Bought a condo from Capital Developments, they bought DEFECTIVE fridges from this company. Those defective fridges are out of stock, im talking like for a THIRD of a year so far! Capital Developments only gives you a lying warranty card, making it seem like it'll be resolved quickly. You contact Appliance Canada, and they do literally nothing. Does Michelle Lai work at your company? She's the sales rep assistant, who just ignores email and does nothing. I bought a new condo, never had an operating fridge, got here in freakin August! Can't give less than one star. I have tried tirelessly to contact with no avail. It shocks me that companies like this still exist, this is why companies are going under during hard times, this company should have never existed to begin with. The fact that a builder like Capital Developments would source their appliances from someone like this is really sad.

Btw, Appliance Canada had someone come take apart my fridge cabinets, leaving them on the floor. This was like 2 months ago! They say things are supposed to arrive by a certain date, but then no communication or update whatsoever, or what happened to the stock. Just a terrible terrible company, and experience all around. If you respect your own time, please go elsewhere.

Originally was a bad review to not receiving my equipment for over a year order. But appliance Canada was able to make it right.

Edit: 2022-10-26, I messaged everything single email address I had available including the concierge email. You would think puting in a 1/3 of your total order's deposit would hold your appliance's availability. I have been GREATLY MISTAKEN! I made an order on March 17th, 2021. You guys had 1 year and 7+ months to get my appliance in order, and its all yet to be seen. Talk about running away with the money.

Edit: 2022-10-27, Got messaged from the Appliance Canada team. Looks like the Stove, Fridge, and Dryer are to be planned for shipped along with the rest of my order. Keep it posted if I actually get everything upon delivery.

Edit: 2022-10-29, received all my appliances. Appliance Canada was able to make it right. Five star for excellent customer care.

Extremely #disappointingexperience with @ApplianceCanada I ordered a full suite of @FisherPaykelUS appliances at the start of July. 1 arrived damaged, 1 arrived dead, and 1 is still missing. Been without working appliances for a month now. It would be nice if someone answered their phone or responded to an email! Tried calling customer service and got hung up on after 20+ minutes on hold.

Mark Fairbarn is an excellent sales rep. He explained all our options for our selection of appliances. We initially dealt with Mark when we ordered our appliances this past March. Most of our appliances arrived within a few months, except our dishwasher which we are still waiting for. Over this time, Mark was always quick to respond to my questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Mark to help you find the right appliances to meet your needs.

My wife and I had an excellent experience at Appliance Canada at their Vaughn location (8701 Jane St #1, Concord). To begin with, the appliance selection at this location is huge, especially compared to the Mississauga location. In addition, the Appliance Consultant - Jasmeet Dalawari - that we dealt with, exceeded our expectations.

Jasmeet patiently asked questions to understand our requirements. We needed a total of 10 appliances for our basement and main floor. He explained the current delay due to the global supply chain issues and made sure we were not misled about the availability of appliances when we needed it. He also offered some cost effective solutions for the basement since this location also had a large inventory of items marked for clearance. Overall, we got 9 of the 10 appliances delivered already and one item (a wall microwave) is still pending delivery, which we were told upfront. After the items were delivered, Jasmeet phoned to make sure everything went well with the order. I would gladly recommend Jasmeet for his honesty and helpfulness!

Our dryer stopped working one month after purchase. I have been trying to get a hold of someone at customer service for over 4 weeks. I have called and left voicemails, emailed, and still no response. It's frustrating that not one person has contacted me back regarding this. Horrible customer service.

We ordered 5 pieces of appliances from Canada Appliances in Vaughan in JUNE 23 2021 which total value is almost $12000 CAD.
We have been waiting for our fridge since June 23 2021. It has been over a YEAR And 2 MONTHS, we still do not have the fridge. Every time we contact the sale person, she keeps saying nothing. My friend placed the order for the same fridge in March, he got confirmation for delivery date in this coming August. His sale person confirmed with him today that his fridge is going to be delivered on time.
It is unacceptable and unreasonable waiting time. We have been patiently waiting.
Now we are really frustrated and desperately urging anyone in Appliance Canada do whatever you can to help us to get our fridge ASAP so we can complete our house.
Appliance Canada is popular brand name store in Canada. Please dont let us disappoint again!

2022/July/20: Thank you for your responding! I am looking forward to hear good news from you guys and receive the fridge soon!

2022/July/22: Jeff (the owner) called and and told me due to Covid 19 so currently there are no stocks of the fridge that I ordered nationwide. He asked me to patiently keep waiting. He promised that everyone in the store are working on it and ensure they will ship it to me within 24-48 hours as soon as they are stocked.
I do not want escalate the issue unless I have to. I just want my preordered and deposited fridge over a year ago! That is all i want!
I will continue waiting for another reasonable time. Hopefully Jeff is telling me the truth nothing but the whole truth and fulfill his commitment.

I would like to take a minute to share my horrible experience with this appliance store. From the minute we walked it we didn’t feel like we were welcomed. We purchased a new built home and went to see if we can upgrade. We dealt with Mel and the customer service experience was extremely terrible. My husband and I felt like he didn’t want to help us as if he was “forced. ” We tried to let him know what we like and it was a very transactional experience. Later that day when we choose our upgraded appliances I sent an email to thank him regardless of how he treated us and to ask if I can get an invoice for my deposit. He replied back with an email without an greeting or a thank you and just replied very poorly to my question. At the end we ended up cancelling our deposit and taking our business elsewhere. Don’t recommend this place for anyone who is looking for good service.

Terrible customer service, unresponsive and no one calls or emails you back, I truly regret purchasing my appliances from them.

Problem #1: First problem was the scheduled delivery for my fridge never came, it was a big deal because I took a day off of work, emptied the fridge and placed food in a temporary cooler and relocated the old fridge to the basement which required removing the doors. They never even gave the curtesy call to notify the delivery was not coming. Great!

Problem #2: After losing most of my food I requested a discount, salesperson advised me to send an email with the request……no response and that was 4 months ago.

Problem #3: I was told customer care would reach out to me with a lender stove while I continue to wait for my new stove. That was 2 months ago.

Problem #4: On multiple occasion I have emailed the sales rep with no response and on 3 occasions have been told he would call me back. Still waiting.

Problem #5: I call customer service and advise I want a new sales rep.as I can’t deal with the lack of communication, I left my name and number. An hour later my current sales rep calls and asks how he can help still not knowing who I am, so we have to go through the process again…i give my order number and he tells me to send him an email as he is on the road. Once again no reply to my email or update.

Top notch service! I dealt with Mel for buying washer/dryer, straight to the point, no sale pitches and gimmicks. I got a good price and was very satisfied. There was a an issue with the dryer upon delivery but it was a manufacturing defect. Peter took care of it quickly and I got a replacement in a few days. Will definitely buy again! Thank you! They are busy and sometimes it's hard to get through, but when you do, the problem is solved and you are not given a run around.

This store has the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I bought all my appliances here for my custom kitchen in advance so that I had all the measurements for my designer.

Ordered in Sept. 2020. Received call in Jan. 2021 that all orders needed to be paid in advance so that we could be in the line. There is a shortage of Whirlpool products because of the shortage of parts in US.
Received order in late Mar 2021 except for the fridge. We were told it was on backorder. I fup every two week with customer service and was promised a date but no fridge arrived and it is late Oct 2021 six months later. Not once did my sales rep Ali call to apologize and check if I would like to buy a different brand. I guess since I’ve already paid why bother no commission in it for him.

Asked for refund and went to Canadian Appliance Source and bought a LG fridge very similar to the Whirlpool. It was delivered the next day. Apparently they had received some Whirlpool in during the year and were surprised I waited over a year for my order? I lived with our old fridge in the basement for 10 months. If you’re expecting customer service don’t bother buying from Appliance Canada. Sales reps not interested in service, only in commissions.

We went to Appliance Canada on Sat Aug. 21. Our refrigerator had started sounding like it was done after 16 years! We needed a replacement. 30" width and no taller than 68 inches and BLACK! A search on the web the night before found nothing except that most black appliances are discontinued. After quick look around we found a model that fit the dimensions but it was stainless steel. Then Tony found us. Tony started searching all Appliance Canada locations on his computer and he found exactly what we needed in black in OTTAWA! The price was right too. Hundreds less than anywhere else. We bought it. It arrived at our home Sat. August 28 as promised. The delivery men unpacked it, brought it into our home with no trouble. An excellent experience from purchase to delivery. We cannot say enough about Tony and his extra effort to find exactly what we needed.

Horrible experience dealing with this business. Terrible customer service. They messed up our order and delivered the wrong appliances. Worse yet, their installer caused damage in our kitchen installing our stove hood fan. They tried to deny that they caused the damage and refused to fix or compensate us for the damage caused. Avoid dealing with this business if you can. Its not worth the headache.

I originally posted a poor review that was partly due to the challenges that Appliance Canada has had during this COVID mess. The company immediately stepped up and allocated resources to correct the problems we were having with reaching their customer service and delivery teams. The store manager Larry really came through for us and managed to locate our remaining appliances to complete our order. A frustrating experience was quickly turned around and made right because of his dedication and follow up. Thanks for going above and beyond Larry!

I have placed an order towards the end of October of 2020 which was finalized the first few days of November. I am still waiting for parts of the order. I honestly wouldn't have added a review if it wasn't for the bad customer service that Appliance Canada offers its customers. No one answers the phones/emails/voicemails. Everytime you call customer service, you get directly to their voicemail and if you are lucky and get someone on the line, they try to transfer you to another department. Even though they are supposed to stay till 6pm, by 4: 30pm, you get the voicemail asking to call within working hours. The only way to get hold of someone is to reach their payment desk as they are always ready to collect money. This has been a very frustrating experience. I honestly wouldn't recommend this company. I hope this review reaches someone so that they can explain this behaviour.

Great experience. No pressure. Fawad was honest and genuine with the information asked and provided. I settled on a Bosch dishwasher and was given a very fair price as I had visited other retailers and the internet. Shipping arrangements were made and exceeded my expectations as I could have had it in 2 days. All touch points were very professional and friendly would not hesitate to recommend to anybody. As this is my second purchase from this company I will certainly make the next one here as well.

Tony is very experienced and knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful with choosing our appliances for our new home! He knew the exact measurements of our place and gave us advice on how their appliance would look in our space. He even gave us a great tuna pasta recipe! Canada appliance has a large selection of appliances, even some interesting brands like Smeg. We had an enjoyable experience here:)

Why is this store still open? I was forced to come in to pay my bill yesterday, so I can have a functioning washer and dryer during this pandemic. The store had customers and staff some of whom in my opinion displaying flu like symptoms touching various appliances. This is careless and irresponsible during a pandemic.

Most likely the most disorganized and unfriendly appliance company I’ve ever had to deal with, even though I have purchased many appliances in my life. Their delivery offering is still stuck in the last century where they give you a 5-hour timeframe to just wait at home, no live tracking or any sort of updates. You just wait. Well, I waited during the timeframe they confirmed by phone the day before. I waited, and waited. I live in a condo building downtown with a concierge, he was also waiting for them and had the service elevator ready for their arrival. They never showed up. I called the store (it was impossible to get through a human, but after trying a bunch of extensions, I got an unfriendly manager). He spoke to delivery crew and they claim that they came at 1: 30pm and nobody was home, which is a total lie. They never came, the concierge never saw them come (he’s got his desk at the front door, hard to miss). Just for fun, we looked at the video from the cameras, no delivery truck was on the building’s property during the entire delivery timeframe. So they get a 1-star for being dishonest. Lost the day too. Big Mess

I came here today on my own to get the specs for appliances that my husband and I need for our new home (fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer etc). When I walked inside, not one employee said hi or asked if I needed any help. The store was not busy as it was about an hour before closing time. There were at least 4-5 employees that were free and standing around talking to each other. They all saw me and made eye contact with me but no one said a word to me. I had several questions as almost all prices are scratched out and say “ask employee for pricing”. Only if employees acknowledged me. Last weekend when I came here with my husband, we were greeted. But as a young woman here on my own, I wasn’t treated with the same respect. I will not be coming back here and we will purchase our appliances elsewhere where every customer is respected. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!

Appliances Canada does not provide receipt what ever you upgrade with builder they make a receipt with the name of builder

We have been dealing with Tony for 20 years, and wouldn't go anywhere else. His product knowledge
is excellent and he always listens and finds the right products for us. Whether it is for our home or a rental property we are always satisfied. The transaction is seamless and delivery easy and on time. Thx Tony

Was required to buy furniture here because of the contract with the builder that we bought our house with. Subpar service in-store with no sense of customer service from the representative. Then 2 days before delivery they give us a call that they don't have the stove and dryer in stock. So we have to take an additional day off work and wait on them. I still gave them the 2nd star hoping for well working appliances. Let's see.

The staff appears bored and don't seem to be excited to do the sales. Playing "hard to get".
Went there couple of times to buy a dishwasher. Different reps.
Gave them a reasonable price. They didn't appear to negotiate anywhere close to my price.
Went to Candian Appliance Source and closed the deal the same day. Huge difference in customer service.

Tony is very experienced and professional with outstanding customer service. His vast knowledge in the products has guided us in making the right decision for our kitchen needs. We appreciate the sales service that he gave us. Appliance Canada is an ideal place to purchase any appliance. They have quite a selection of the latest brands at comparable pricing.

Sorry to said this but we got a customer rep to help us, not good at all, did not help us, and, it looks like we where bothering him, we just left the place. But he did us a favor because we went today to Leon's and we got and amazing customer rep that help us and we bought everything we need it. A stove, fridge, dishwasher and a microwave /hood.

Absolutely nightmarish experience with Appliance Canada. Bought a Whirlpool stove about year and a half with extended warranty. When buying was very specific about the fact, I am looking for self cleaning oven. Was totally misled by salesman, who obviously could not care less as long he and the store made money Sold me a lemon, that even with extended warranty would not exchange. Their service person declared, he can not do anything with it, because there is nothing wrong with the stove. In the meantime, I can not clean it. It is dirty after trying to clean it several times. I would not recommend Appliance Canada to anyone. They have a very bad customer service and sales people and do not honor the extended warranty. In less then 2 years I have to look for another oven, but it wont be with appliance Canada ever,

I am extremely disappointed with my new GE stove from Appliance Canada, i have only had it a month and it has caused a major malfunction on a day i was right in the middle of cooking a turkey for a pre-Christmas dinner for my family! I called in a panic on the Saturday early in the day and i was told that no techs could help me not even on the phone, i had a house full of people and the oven just stopped cooking when the turkey was less than half done! Disaster! I was told that i have to wait util Monday because even a big company like GE has no weekend service or technical help.today is now Tuesday and i have not received a call on Monday or today yet so while i write this have been am sitting on hold for the past 20 minutes.i am asking for a full refund and returning the stove within my return time under their policy.both GE and Appliance Canada are big companies so i am shocked they had nobody working the weekends to help with emergencies such as this.at the very least call me on the Monday as promised.i made them full aware that i dont have a stove to use and the big problem i had on a big day so i really just cant understand this poor after the sale service! Still on hold. I will choose a company in the future that has weekend service available or at least after hours tech support.

Addition after call
Just to update in writing, I just got off the phone and was told I actually don’t have a 30 day refund or exchange because the stove is used? I was told that GE is responsible after the stove is used and it is their discretion on what they want to do and that they will try to fix it and or exchange it.that’s all nice but im really now even more upset because when I am sold the unit I was told everything has a 30 day refund and or exchange if there is a problem or if it is not the right one. No one ever mentioned that it cannot be used? How do you not use the stove? I was never told not to hook it up. I didn’t have any intention of returning the stove but due to the circumstances I don’t understand why I am being told I cannot get a refund or exchange if I am not happy. So what’s the point of having a 30 day refund policy, everyone usually hooks up their stove right away so nobody basically can return things they buy and are not happy with? I guess I have no choice to wait for the call from GE but I am not happy with the after the sale service and no longer trust this product. Your policy should be a lot more clear to people about no refunds or exchanges if the appliance is used!

Sales associate was very helpful and knowledgable. We ended up going with another vendor because appliance Canada did not offer installation. They will connect you with a third party though.

I bought my kitchen appliances here. I checked 3 other major stores and their prices were much higher. I'm very happy that I went to this store and saved about $500.00!
My sales associate Ravneet Raghav was amazing! She found amazing deals and rebates for appliances I bought! She knew answers to every question I asked. She is very professional! Thank you!
I got free delivery! It was possible to get my delivery in just one week but I wanted Saturday and I got it scheduled for Saturday!
I highly recommend this store and you will get the best service if you ask for Ravneet!

Called for customer service for a washer warranty. Waited 20 minutes in queue only to be directed to a voicemail? Very frustrating. I will edit this rating if they get back to me with a positive experience.

Had my appliances delivery scheduled for Saturday Oct 5. Asked the customer service twice to provide an approximate time frame for delivery, never got it. On the day of delivery, was told by the truck driver he had my name on the delivery list but the appliances were not loaded to the truck. Called Appliance Canada and got transferred to customer service twice but nobody picked up the phone after 10 mins of waiting each time. Called the receptionist and told him I had to go to the US tomorrow and was told the manager was busy with some urgent matter and would give me a call back. It's been an hour but still no response. Called Appliance Canada several times again but no one picked up the phone.what can I do

Update Oct 19. - Appliance Canada has trust issues with its customer. It failed its appliance delivery TWICE because it did not receive a verbal confirmation from the customer. For the first delivery, I confirmed I would be there for the delivery by email and received both email and verbal confirmation from the salesperson. For the second delivery (due to the stove screen malfunction found after the first installation), I confirmed I would be there for the delivery via email and verbally and received a verbal confirmation from the salesperson. However, it believes a confirmation from the salesperson doesn't count. The confirmation has to come from a department called "Confirmation Department". The experience was disappointing. Just wanted to share the message so that other customers are aware the confirmation from the salesperson isn't valid. You need to receive a verbal confirmation from the confirmation department, email confirmation is not an option.

Had a disappointing experience from the salesperson Ryan Yun. For the start he wasn't very knowledgeable about their own products and had to check everything from his laptop for our questions. We were fine with that as might he might be new. But after the delivery we wanted to do exchange with them and when we inquired him he straightaway told that it cannot be done. We then spoke to Ali, the manager of the store and got it done (Thanks to Ali). Overall Ryan does not have intentions to help the customers.

Warehouse pickup was extremely slow. Also, they guy didn't even wanted to help me to load the appliance.

My fridge was dented upon delivery and I didn't notice it until a week later. I reached out to Elyse for help and she assured me that even though it was well past a reasonable time frame to get it replaced, she would try for me. 3 days later, after communicating with Meera regarding a replacement, they brought me a brand new fridge and took the old dented one back. Thank you Meera and Elyse for being so concerned about my satisfaction and for providing excellent customer service.

I did have to take a star off for my in-store experience. When I arrived there, no salespeople were to be seen anywhere. I was confused as to where I could get any help and had to ask front desk to page someone. When the salesman arrived and helped us he seemed distracted, literally said 2 sentences to us the whole time we were asking him questions, and then left.
