I have just bought a washer and dryer from Appliance Canada Toronto, Castlefield location. Larry Galea was my salesperson and he went over and beyond to help me, to arrange for delivery and to be sure that everything worked out well! Larry answered my questions honestly and worked patiently with me as I made my decision about which appliance to buy. The delivery men were amazing and so willing to be helpful. I recommend using Appliance Canada to purchase any appliance and I highly recommend Larry Galea. He is one of the best!

Our washing machine and dryer broke down and the service man indicated that they were unable to be fixed. Help! I asked a friend where to go and she directed me to Apliance Canada on Castlefield Ave. Larry Galea came to our aid as we were looking after our two grandchildren aged 7 and 5 while our daughter was in hospital. He searched for reputable appliances that were readily available (no small feat) in the current appliance market. The delivery arrived as scheduled and the two attendants removed the old machines from the second floor and transported the new ones back up a steep flight of stairs without any complaint. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with the outstanding employees of the Appliance Canada Castlefield Store for their understanding of my predicament and responding quickly and efficiently to my request for assistance in replacing our broken machines.

We dealt with Fawad Mohammad, who was most helpful in assisting us in choosing appliances for our new kitchen that would do just what we wanted them to do. He did not try to sell us appliances that had more "bells and whistles" than we wanted, but also was able to point out features on the stove that we would enjoy. Because of supply chain issues, he recommended that we arrange delivery of the appliances that were in stock now so that we would have them when we need them later on once renovations allowed for their installation. Within two days of purchase, we received them. When another came available a couple of weeks later, we received a call that it was in and were able to arrange delivery within 2 days of the call. We are very pleased both with Mr. Mohammad as a salesperson and the delivery department for their assistance in getting the merchandise to our home. I might add that the drivers who brought the appliances were courteous and very accommodating in getting them where we wanted them. Many thanks!

They delivered my Fisher and Paykel Fridge back in July 2022, and when they delivered it to my home, they absolutely destroyed my door and door frame. I have $1000+ worth in damages. The delivery drivers admitted it to me saying the door was tight (so their solution was to just bash my door and door frame), but then started changing their story to management, even lying about the time they came and taking photos before (I sent them security camera footage showing otherwise). I kept getting calls from Tausif who is a supervisor for the delivery company, to send them my security camera footage. I sent them the video camera footage, proving my story, on July 15,2022 to Tausif and Asad Khan (Toronto store manager), and I have not heard back since. It is now September. I sent 8 emails and called 3 times between then and now, and not once have they responded to me because obviously my video proved my story, and now they are trying to avoid paying. I am now dealing with the Ottawa store in person, and probably going to file a small claims court claim for the damages.

My advice: never buy from this store. Ever. They were incompetent from day 1. Horrible management.

Working with Charles Myers at Appliance Canada was a great experience. He is conscientious, thorough, knowledgeable, and all around helpful when we needed to navigate a range of products for our kitchen renovation. He provided great advice on appliance models, functionality and value for money. He helped us quickly resolve an issue related to a component that we needed for our fridge/freezer and worked to make sure that we had all of our appliances available for delivery in time for the installation of our kitchen. I absolutely recommend working with him. He's been absolutely wonderful.

Larry Galea is the best! We ordered ALL our home appliances from him and from start to finish he delivered best in class customer service. During the delivery process, one of the products was damaged and within minutes he had worked through a solution and had a new unit on its way (no small feat during a supply challenged market). Fantastic experience. Highly recommend Appliance Canada but most importantly LARRY GALEA!:)

I received so much help from Larry Galea at this location. Despite all of the pandemic order challenges, he was able to provide the best prices and was very knowledgeable about all of his products. I can definitely recommend buying from him.

Nice show room, very clean, polite welcome and no pressure from the sales staff. Overall great experience, only problem is stock but that is how it's been in every place so far.

The service was absolutely horrible at this location and the employees were very dismissive. I was barely acknowledged by the woman at the front counter and before I could ask for help she quickly turned away and began chatting with another employee. I spent 15 minutes in the showroom and not once was I approached by any member of their team, obviously they are not in the business of customer service. I left and went to Leon's where I was able to buy 2 Bosch fridges and 2 Bosch ranges for my rental units.

I am an appliance installer. We work with Appliance Canada at the Castlefield location all the time. The staff there are awesome. They always try their best to help and make appropriate suggestions for client needs. From our experience with the staff they always are friendly and professional. Larry, Shawn, Ken and Sergey have always looked after our needs. They are the best team that I have worked with.

Bought a washer and dryer and the dryer was delivered to us broken. The top of the dryer looks like it had been completely snapped off. We had contacted Appliance Canada customer service, sent them the pictures, and the rep said he would reach out to a repair company who could get us a replacement part. It has been 6 days and counting and we have not heard back about this. Would not recommend.

We recently purchased our new dishwasher through Appliance Canada, Toronto location. Our sales associate, Charlie, has provided us with excellent service. He was very helpful and patient. He answered all our questions in a timely manner and guided us when choosing between two brands. He also contacted the manufacturer rep with questions and gave us the best price.

He followed up the weekend before that everything was in order for delivery. The appliance was delivered to our home promptly and in good condition. Very happy with the new purchase. Overall, we are very satisfied with the good service provided.

I recently bought a wine fridge from Appliance Canada. There was nothing particularly notable about the sales experience, but I had done my work and the most important thing to me was the the fact they were by far more competitive on price than anyone else offering the same product.

I guess you get what you pay for. The fridge is great but the delivery experience was hands-down the worst I've had anywhere. Two days prior to delivery, Appliance Canada called me to say it would be delivered between 9am and 5pm on my delivery date, but that I would receive a call with a 4-hour delivery window the following day (i.e. The day before delivery).

The day prior to delivery, Appliance Canada called me to let me know the fridge would be there between 12-5. That's 5 hours, not 4. Complicating matters, I later received a message from XPO - their outsourced delivery company - telling me they'd be there between 11am-3pm. So now I am thoroughly confused, and effectively need to block off 6 hours, not 4, from my Saturday.

Of course, the delivery comes near the end of XPO's window, at almost 3pm. The delivery team called me beforehand to let me know they'd be at my house in "8 minutes". Appliance Canada told me I'd get a 30-minute heads up. So far everyone is terrible at math.

The delivery guys were the two surliest, unfriendliest people I'd ever met. I wouldn't care so much about that except they did the absolute bare minimum of getting the fridge into my house. They made a complete mess by not laying down a floor covering and dragging in dirt/snow/salt (I had a duct cleaner in just a week earlier who was very careful to not make any mess), and did nothing to level the fridge once it was in. On top of that, they complained the whole time about the size of the fridge and how tight the space was. The whole delivery took less than 30 minutes from when they showed up to when they left! It was not difficult. By comparison, a couch I ordered from Crate and Barrel took almost an hour and a half to get into the house and the guys who did that job were absolutely fantastic the whole time.

Long story short, I paid a low price for a good product and had a terrible delivery experience. Was it worth it? I dunno - I could've paid just a couple hundred bucks more somewhere else and maybe had a much better experience. XPO - or at least the two guys who delivered the fridge - should be ashamed of themselves. And Appliance Canada should also be ashamed of itself as the delivery experience is the lasting taste in my mouth.

Awful experience. We walked into your store on castle field. Store was totally empty. The man at the front didn’t even welcome us. All he said is how your paying? Absolutely discusting. My family has given ton of business and I am definitely not going to give you more business and recommend you to any one at all. That man should learn how some customer service. On top of it we went to ask for more help from another gentle man and said I’m busy in the middle of an email. I’m fuming on how discusting your service is!

Bought a fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer from Appliance Canada. Shawn, the sales rep, was amazing to deal with. Upon delivery, our fridge was malfunctioning and kept beeping every 30 seconds.
I talked to 5 different customer service reps from Appliance Canada on the phone, and every single one of them, in some round-about way, said that it was our problem and we would have to deal with LG directly. Some of them were instantly dismissive and rude. Emails to head office went unanswered. Eventually, LG came to fix the fridge after 3 weeks.

I would never buy anything else from Appliance Canada. What an awful customer experience. They will not stand behind their products. If they sell you a defective product, it is your problem to deal with the manufacturer. Don’t waste your money here.

After some not great experiences with other appliance stores, we discovered Appliance Canada and have recently purchased numerous appliances through Larry. He goes the extra distance by providing comprehensive advice when needed. And always gives us the best price.

Faulty products and horrible customer service. My partner and I ordered all of our new appliances with Appliance Canada. All of them. When installed, the fridge wouldn’t stop beeping. We called Appliance Canada for help and it’s been over a week with no fridge and no help. They finally told us it’s not their problem and directed us to LG. They are taking no responsibility for selling us a defective product and quite frankly being very rude considering we gave them all of our business.
Will never shop there again, what an appalling experience.

The worst experience I ever have when is coming to get appliances. Please before to even think to get anything at this company do yourself a big favor and look somewhere else. All the prices they proudly show are plus all the extras they charge for you to get the product, adding you will pay more than you thought. Customer services very poor, phone service very poor, seller too pushy to include their expensive warranty. I wouldn’t recommend this company To anyone.

I walked into this store after shopping around for a while, I was pleasantly greeted by a lady at the front who let me know where the piece I was looking for was located in their store. It was very refreshing as every other place I have walked into it felt like I was walking into a Lions den and everyone just rushed you. This place gave me the space I needed until I was ready. When I was ready; I approached the young lady and she got a nice Salesman to help me out. The whole experience lasted maybe 30mins and not only did they give me the best price, they also gave me the best service by not pressuring me and letting me look around until I was ready.

Also there is a place that has a similar name so don't get these companies confused.

Appliance Canada is an amazing store. They are not just about the sale. They are caring people who want your home to be spectacular. They work with you to find the right appliances to meet your needs and budget and then ensure you are satisfied throughout the entire process. From beginning to the end. That meant for us, who were building a house, that we selected the right appliances, that the builder had the right specifications, that the delivery and installation was coordinated with our builder, that when things didn't work out exactly as planned they were there to help us work out a solution. We couldn't have asked for a better salesman and friend than Leonard Pleasant from the Castlefield store. He was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty!

I wouldn't recommend this place to any serious shopper. I stopped by today (Dec 27,2018) with purpose of buying a set of washer and dryer and a bin compactor. The place was almost empty with 3 sales people behind 3 different desks and another guy who seemed to work in there chatting about with one of the salesman. I started checking the model of washer/dryer I planned to buy. Meanwhile, I tried several times to make eye contact with the staff to get help but not one of them acknowledged our presence (I went with a friend). I thought to myself, it might be lack of motivation or underpaid staff (a la walmart). About 20 min after my arrival a couple with kids appeared and the sales person rushed to their help with a sycophantic affect. I have no idea what is their criteria for "customer service, " but obviously they are selective of whom deserves their attention: maybe adult Caucasian females is their target demographic. I know I'm not going back there.

I purchased several appliances for our kitchen including an LG fridge. The purchase experience was very good as was the delivery process. No issues there and at that point I was very satisfied. But 10 months later our LG fridge stopped cooling and I was advised to deal directly with LG for a warranty repair. The process with LG was terrible to say the least and the while the first repair fixed the cooling problem the appliance started making loud noises that were not previously present. LG was next to impossible to deal with and initially refused to authorize an additional repair. I turned to my sales person and the service department at Appliance Canada for help, which did not come. They both directed me back to LG and even admitted that they have other unhappy customers with LG appliances. The retailer was of no help at all and simply shrugged their shoulders.

LG eventually made the second repair after many, many calls and now the appliance is working fine. Based on my experience with Appliance Canada I would not recommend them at all as they did not stand behind the product sold or their customer.
