The food here is absolutely delicious. So fresh and the portions are large. They use a lot of fresh veggies and that good deep-fried tofu, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and we’ve always gotten our food quickly, even when it’s busy. They have a lot of vegetarian options which is nice. My husband and I have been going for years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
Très mauvaise cuisine, avariée pour le buffet. Malade toute la nuit. Arrivés à 20h, il n'y avait déjà plus certains des 7 plats proposés à volonté. Un seul dessert pas bon.
So so delicious. My in-laws are Cambodian and agreed it was a five star experience with amazing flavour. They were able to provide many vegan options too.
The server with purple hair is also very friendly and knows the menu well!
I really liked their food but the last two times I ordered, the chicken was very smelly, like the chicken that is cooked before which stoped me from ordering again.
Our family has been going here since they open. Summer and winter. Always great food limited staff so sometime it’s a little slow but the atmosphere is great while you wait. Enjoy
Great food, excellent service and decent price. It's really nice to eat close to the fireplace and it's a calm place where you can actually speak without yelling because of loud music. That's an asset!
We recently moved to Kingston from Ottawa. We have been looking for some good Thai or Cambodian food. We tried 3 places that were not to our liking. Today we stopped in at Apsara Angkor for lunch and it was excellent food. So happy to had found such a great place. Service was excellent, great atmosphere. We will be back for sure.
I’ve never been disappointed eating here for four years or so. The food is so delicious, not greasy, and fresh. My marker for Thai is green curry, I find it oily at most places in town with the flavour off and the components separating, but it is perfect here.
Had some Thai chicken mmmmmmmm so good like definitely worth trying. I’d say this is the best Thai I’ve had in Kingston! Also the Thai beef bbq is also quite good
We ordered chicken and beef pad thai, (I started eating mine prior to photo) calamari and vegetable spring rolls. All 4 items where one of the best tasting meals we have ever had! Highly recommended.
Food is great, but the service we got was terrible. You are guaranteed to be satisfied with the food. I do not know about great service.
Our waitress, white older woman, was awful. She forgot to put our orders through and ignored our table. I had to flag someone else to ask why it was taking so long. She then came over after we were almost done eating and lied to us to say that our order got lost, Seriously?
I normally go to Phnom Penh. I went here with a coworker from Empire Life for lunch and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. Great food, good service and a good atmosphere.
My mom and my husband loved what they had- a basil noodle chicken and sweet and sour chicken. We took the lunch special. The soup and spring roll was great. My dad had the ginger chicken- it was ok. The beef pad siew that I had was not good. Very oily and not flavourful. I took a mouthful of my husband basil chicken noodle to get rid of the oily taste. I would say 3.5- too bad for the really bad pad siew.
Delicious Thai Basil Eggplant. Well prepared, efficient service and friendly staff. I love this restaurant and look forward to dining under the awning when patio weather returns. Great restaurant!
I ate at this restaurant this week. I can't complain about the food.it was delicious, but the service was terrible and ruined the entire experience. Perhaps it was a one off, but I am hopeful the owners read this and take into account what I am saying. We had a bit of a wait to get our drinks, (and frankly did not get everything we had asked for), but once they were delivered we asked if we could order our food. I assume the server did not hear us as she just walked away and took the orders of two other tables that had come in after us!? Even if she didn't hear us, isn't it normal to ask if you're ready to order? We ended up sitting there waiting to order forever and then waiting for the food for another hour on top of that. To put it into perspective, a table that had come in at the same time as us was finishing their meal and paying their bill before we even received our food. We had to ask for the bill, we had to ask for condiments, the server never checked on us to see how we were doing etc.etc. The service was truly terrible. I am not one to make a fuss, especially when it is an independent business, but this was honestly awful and did not make us feel in the least like valued customers. Perhaps you need to hire additional servers or have your servers go through some kind of training as the food really is great, but what happened above was not cool at all.
The food is good, but they don’t listen to instructions. I always say no utensils and I always get them anyway. Places need to pay attention and they need to care about the environment.
Ordered Green curry with beef and curry pad thai with chicken. Highly NOT recommended. Green curry was SO BLEND. It wasnt creamy at all doesnt taste like green cury. Beef was over cooked, lil chewy. As for pad thai, sauce was not authentic, it was made with ketchup. Service was not great either.
The only thing that was on point was the glass of water.
We ordered Amok fish, chicken pad Thai, and mango sticky rice. They were all delicious. I have to admit that the recipe was more Thai based rather than Cambodian. As others have mentioned, the portion is more than average and perfect for sharing.
Have been coming to kingston for an annual trip for 10 years. This is always a MUST HAVE. Everything on their menu is delicious! Love the Tom yum soup, chicken curries and pad Thai!
If I could give it a 0/5 stars I would. Messed up my Skip the Dishes order and when I called to complain, the lady answering the phone hung up on me. Terrible service. Steals for their customers.
Had the shriml pad thai, nice sized helping, tasty, met my expectations. Building has a slight bad odour maybe because of resting water somewhere, a tad stinky, maybe because older building.
My husband and I really enjoyed our meals here. The service was friendly and prompt and the food made us decide to return— red curry chicken and spicy lemongrass chicken fried rice. Both with enough spice to add—not detract—from the flavour, and more than enough food to make us feel full and then some!
The food was generous and delicious! The atmosphere was lovely for a dinner for two but could easily accommodate the whole family. Our waitress was knowledgable and attentive. We will return!
