We love aqua tots! Everyone here is so polite and accommodating. Very friendly staff that make you feel like family. Coaches are great! Very knowledgeable and encouraging. Facilities are always kept clean and warm. My daughter really enjoys going swimming here. Her confidence has grown tremendously.
The app works great if you need to cancel or book a class, very easy to use.

We are Aqua tots client since 2020 but today first tine we had surprisingly arrogant and non-customer oriented attitude from the GM of Aqua tots: Following is the reason:

In September 2023 i have sent them the email that we will not be able to continue and September would be our last month. But the front desk told us that they have already charged us for the month of October, it would be difficult for them to refund. Since we were travelling I favoured them in November we will take the classes GM confirmed.

Since last 3 days we are receiving calls to pay for September 30the class we told them we will visit on Sunday and discuss the issue. They were calling us for 68 CAD as on September 30th.
In my September email i told GM aqua that my credit is compromise please remove from file as i have no outstanding payments. But for today GM aqua ask us pay 68 CAD then I let your kids enter the remaining classes. Since my card was compromised i said will pay cash or e-transfer he refused to accept the payment as they inly receive credit card. Since my card was compromise he said he will not allow my kids to attend the remaining 4 classes and the. Way he communicate with us very humiliated and insulting. We feel very sad after the 3 years if relationship we are treated like this way.

Aqua-tots has been amazing for our son! He’s been thriving with Coach Arielle O! She’s given him the confidence to become an independent swimmer and we are so grateful! It’s a wonderful place, so well run, and everyone is so helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

It is a great experience! The instructors are clearly well trained and genuinely care about the kids they are teaching! It is a great environment every week! Very kind and supportive to everyone! My son’s instructor Arielle has been so amazing with him. He went from not wanting to put his head underwater to looking forward to swimming with her every week! He feels confident and capable now and we definitely owe it all to her! Thank you!

Front office to coaches are superb. Everyone is so humble and helpful. My daughter loving it so far.

We've been with Aqua-Tots for a few years now, and my son continues to enjoy every lesson. He is not much into other sports, but he loves swimming, and his special needs are also accommodated. From the moment you signup for your lessons, consider it worry-free: they have a strong team of instructors and admin coordinators, and broad schedule that you can choose from. In case you need to cancel your appointment, you can do it online or call in, to get your makeup session. The facility is extremely quiet and clean, very appealing, and swimming instructors are highly trained. Your 30 minutes of waiting for your child, we'll be well spent in peace and joy. The swim instructors are great and make sure our child learns all the skills he needs to keep him safe. Even if there's push-back from him, they have a way to get him to do it and I'm so very grateful for it.

Ridiculous place. They teach your kid for like 20 minutes while the session is for 30 minutes and in that session they cram 4 kids as it’s a group session, so basically you child only gets like 5 minutes of their time. Completely a waste of time and money. I was told after 6 months that I can’t use my makeup after my 6 months period is over. I had 14 makeup classes left on my account which got wasted as my time is up and they said you have have to sigh up with us again in order to use those makeup classes.

We love coach Peggy! She made me and my 7 month old daughter feel very comfortable and her enthusiasm makes the experience fun. We have had both group and one on one lessons and I can see my daughter progressing and becoming more confident in the water.

I want to share our family's amazing experience with coach Peggy at Aqua Tots Burlington. This week we were late for class and our child didn't want to go and join her class due to anxiety. Coach Penny waited patiently and ended up convincing my child to go inside and just sit by the pool. They sat together and coach Penny just continued talking w my child until the class was finished even though my child never said a word! At the end coach Penny said "it takes a village" it certainly does but no one ever did such thing for my child, and we've been in similar situations before. Coach Penny also said she will do it again every week until my child is comfortable. She went above and beyond and I have no words to thank her!

Great venue for mom to take a break with coffee! And lovely viewing area to sit in while kids have high quality intentional swim instruction. Learning value for time is worth it, they teach your kids skills to keep them alive in the water first then build from there. Clean warm new. Excellent customer service to support flexibility to schedules. Only change I’d make is longer lesson. *I apparently entered a score of two stars by accident earlier. Pls disregard,

I have a 18 month old and 9 year old who goes here. We have had the best experience with the coaches, the facility, their curriculum and the admin staff.

Our kids love swimming here, our son has progressed well through various levels and was never rushed which we liked. The instructors are all wonderful and they really do take the time to form relationships with any nervous swimmers. My daughter hated the water and within just a few months loves going to class now and going underwater. I highly recommend.

Our child’s been making good progress. The instructors and the team are responsive and take customer feedback very seriously. We are happy and would recommend this location to anyone else. The great coffee place at the facility is a plus)

The coaches are unbelievably amazing! The staff are amazing at the front they are always friendly, welcoming, kind and so encouraging. The atmosphere is truly amazing. The coaches especially coach Ailsa are so patient, fun & challenge the kids in a positive way. I would recommend this swimming atmosphere and teachers over and over again!

The swim lessons are some of the best swim lessons we have taken. The staff is organized, friendly and engaging. They are passionate and patient.

The admin is also friendly and the owner is kind and caring. It’s true that they care about kids, and you can tell. If we weren’t moving we would definitely stay!

Very friendly staff that tailors the experience to your child. We are very happy to have our child go to Aqua-tots! 100% recommend!

The group lessons are not good value at all. For a thirty minute lesson they cram four kids in one class. My son gets less than 5 minutes of actual instruction. For the rest of the time he just stands there and watches.

And staff retention is a problem. We have had 3 different permanent teachers and 3 temporary teachers in the past 4 months.

While the staff is friendly, facilities are generally clean and there is tremendous flexibility for rescheduling, those good qualities aren't enough for the lack of actual instruction my son receives. The quality of instruction has been good when there were only 1 or 2 students in the class.

This will be our last month there. We have registered for lessons elsewhere.

Edit to respond to management: So you question the validity when it's a negative review? I can guarantee I am a paying customer and have been for over a year. I have spoken to you directly about my experience over the phone and spoke to you again in person when we cancelled our lessons. Your staff told us the current group structure is enough for a child to learn swimming skills

Aqua-Tots is absolutely fantastic! My son was enrolled in swimming lessons through the city and struggled a lot to get ahead. He had to do level 3 swim classes three times in a row - so three 12-week sessions and he still wasn't ready to pass. So we moved him over to Aqua-Tots shortly after they opened and within a couple of months he had greatly improved and was ready for level 4! He's now in level 6 and is still continuing to progress. He loves the coaches and now he can't wait to get into the pool. The skill based approach makes so much more sense than expecting kids to be ready to move to the next level after a basic 12 week session. Some levels still require a bit more time, but it allows him to confidently move forward at his own pace. The smaller class sizes also make a world of difference. The kids have more one on one time and spend less time sitting on the side of the pool waiting for their turn. And there’s always a one on one recap with the coach after each lesson. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean and well organized. And the warm water temperature is a definitely plus!

My child had a traumatizing experience at a community pool during a swim lesson. Since then my child only gets in the water with me.
I went in to inquire about swim lessons at Aqua tots and although we've only had one lesson here so far I and my child are extremely happy with our choice!
The staff was so amazing during our visit while we were inquiring that my child wasn't even scared but actually excited! They don't treat us like just business this place is a community and a beautiful one at that. The staff were encouraging the whole time while taking it slow. We look forward to coming here every week!

We have tried few places in Burlington and Oakville and have found Aqua tots to be the best. There is a lot of transparency and attention given to developing the swimming skills for kids. The staff and management are very friendly and excellent in dealing with the kids. I have seen significant improvement in my kids skills since they started. The facilities also are excellent. Keep up the good work.

Worry free and relaxing environment, well organized; everybody is so friendly and professional, and this truly is an amazing place. Aqua-tots Swim School in Burlington is fantastic. It has a lovely and easy going environment. The coaches are all very friendly and loved my our children. We have seen an incredible improvement in our kids confidence in the water. They love showing their coaches what they can do and are always happy to come in for a lesson. It is also very clean…there is not a spot of ick to be seen, which I think is very important in pool settings. We love it here!

Facilities are excellent. Clean and bright. My daughter is making great progress in their structured program.

Would highly recommend. They are flexible with cancelling and making up lessons, staff are all enthusiastic and friendly. Shay knows everyone's names and is so encouraging to the kids, even if they have a bad day. They also follow good protocol and check vaccination records. Small class sizes and parents can watch their toddlers from the sidelines (especially needed with newborn in tow).

Teachers are great, very patient and the front desk staff is very attentive. My kids are learning a lot and their online system to review the progress helps a lot too.

Aqua Tots Burlington has an amazing staff who have a great energy and are so encouraging with the kids. The lessons are fun and well structured, in a really clean, safe environment. Kids trust the staff so they really enjoy learning to swim. Our experience with Aqua Tots has been nothing but spectacular and it has been about 2 years with them now. Thank you Aqua Tots!

My daughter Avery started swimming lessons with Aqua Tots at the beginning of August. When we went for our initial tour of the facility we were greeted with a warm welcome and the staff there happily showed us around the facility and answered any and all the of questions/ concerns that I had genuinely and professionally.

My daughter Avery has never had any swimming lessons prior and was very nervous around the water. The staff at Aqua Tots have been absolutely amazing with her and consistent that she is now slowly overcoming her fears every lesson.

In the short 4 weeks she has been going, Avery has not only gained new skills but she is now putting her head fully under water! This may not seem like a huge deal to some but for her and I, it is such a huge accomplishment!

I want to say an extra huge thank you to Maddie! You have been an angel with helping Avery to gain her confidence and trust her instructors. You truly listen and are so patient with her. Avery looks forward to seeing you every week now and giving you a big hug for always being by her side!

I also want to say a huge thank you to her instructor Megan! Even though Avery has only been with you for two weeks now, she is very comfortable with you! Your guidance and demeanour with teaching her has not gone unnoticed and watching you celebrate her accomplishments with her in the water makes us so truly happy!

With that being said, we highly recommend Aqua Tots to anyone looking for swimming lessons!

We have had nothing but a fantastic experience so far with Aqua-Tots Burlington! The instructors are patient and knowledgeable, the facility is clean and all the staff is so friendly. My son, who normally takes a while to adjust has done so well here! Highly recommend!

I love Aqua-Tots. My only wish is that they had a bigger pool, but the cleanliness and comfort MORE than makes up for it. It's the first place I've been that comes close to the environment I was used to in California. The teachers are SO patient, as well as the Center staff. They know how to stick to the curriculum and still make it fun for kids! I'm so grateful they are back open - making my daughter feel like life is returning to normal.

My kids have been swimming at Aqua-Tots since they were toddlers. Thanks to the amazing curriculum and wonderful coaches they have become like fish in the water. Can't say enough great things about Aqua-Tots Burlington.

We’ve been going to Aquatots for about 2 years now. We were immediately impressed with the friendliness of the staff and clean facility. My son learned more in one session at Aquatots than he did in a 12 week session through a community class.
The instructors are wonderful with the kids.
They have surpassed our expectations during the pandemic. Looking forward to enrolling our second son soon!

My two daughters have been learning there for five months. I have seen the tremendous improvement on both of them. I never imagine both of them would love swimming this much and learn so fast. Strongly recommended!

Both of my kids absolutely love swimming at Aqua-Tots. The instructors and staff are so welcoming and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and help my children feel comfortable in the water.
