Area Rug Shop

As others have said, finding affordable, contemporary rugs has been difficult in Toronto. We wanted some colour and most of the places we looked at were either plain or thousands of dollars. Then through a Google search I found the Area Rug store on Queen West.

Meghan greeted us and went through some of the options. When she pulled down the Everglow rug, my husband and I knew immediately this was the one. After shopping for months, I think we were in the store for 10 minutes and bought a rug. And we love it. It looks fabulous in our space.

What a great store to have in the midle of downtown. Finding affordable rugs is so tough and this place has so many! Plus the staff was so helpful and friendly. Give this place a visit!

We bought four rugs this past weekend, with one to be custom cut. They offered great service and a solid selection. 3 of the 4 carpets we bought were in my home 24 hours later (the one requiring custom cutting will take 2-3 weeks). 2 of the carpets looked great as expected, with one of them not quite right. They even refunded us for the one without a fuss! Nice.
