Argos Greek & Pizza

Great takeout restaurant with a good variety of delicious food. They serve seafood such as calamari and shrimp which makes the place a good choice for people with different food preferences. They are open till late and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Great service! Great staff! Great food! Told my family and friends to go and they loved it too. The best is the gentleman who serves at night, great person and always does a great job with food and service.

The souvlaki plate prices have increased substantially and the amount of food has decreased. We have been customers a long time, so this change is quite obvious and disappointing. Will probably not be ordering from here as often.

Tasty food and great customer service Uber messed up the order but the owner of this place made it right and fixed it up.

SPECTACULAR sandwich (but too small)

This sandwhich was so well made and the chicken was thoroughly grilled to perfection. I added some sweet sauce with the tzatziki and it was heaven. This is going to become my go to … replacing shawarma, mary browns and all that junk food.

However, the sandwhich is literally the size of like a mini-wrap. Think Connor Macgregor or Khabib Nurmaga-something… packs a big punch but a little smaller in size! (…thats what she said!)

Years ago they were good when they started. But after my recent experience I've decided never again. And it's not only once.

I don’t recommend especially by delivery. Rude delivery guy and very very very slow 2 hours for a sandwich. Please scam offers on Uber eats.

Catered my wife's baby shower this past weekend on very short notice. Having not tried their food before, I agreed the night before the event. I also ordered a gyro and chicken wrap to take home and try out. The manager was very accommodating and gave us easy menu options. We decided on a few souvlaki family platters (included Greek salads, rice, potatoes, chicken and lamb skewers, pitas, salad dressing and dips). Everyone loved the food on the day of the event and we had multiple inquiries on where we ordered from.
Definitely recommend! (. And the wraps were amazing!)

My husband placed the order online, but it arrived late. Food was delicious, but cold due to delivery delay. Expected better service.

Delivery is a hit and miss and can delay a lot. Their customer service could use a more friendly touch. Not my first option anymore.

Bad costumer service. The food was late they took more than an hour and had the nerve to tell me to wait an extra time. Wast my time with the restaurant never again.

Food was incredibly overcooked and really overpriced for such small portion sizes. Some of the meat could barely be chewed and the calamari was almost black. It seemed like they'd forgotten our food while it was cooking except we ordered right when they opened. A veggie kebab was $6 and was literally a bite of onion, one small mushroom and a small piece of zucchini. Save your money.

Some of the best fries I have had in this city. Great wraps and pizzas well. Delivery can be quite slow at times.

I placed a late night order for a simple shawarma. (I know.coming from a Greek restaurant I didn't expect THE shawarma.)
Without a doubt, these guys made it the best in my area. The Greek pita was delicious and fresh (EVEN 20MIN BEFORE CLOSE!), All the ingredients were fresh and the meat was on point. With the garlic sauce and tzatziki. *Mouha*.
10/10. Didn't expect a delicious filling meal right before close. And for a good price.

Pizza is usually great, orders one tonight and realized when I got home, there was only two items on it vs house special plus two xtra… drove back and wasn’t very happy, Friday long day etc. However, they were able to fix the issue and accommodate me appropriately. I can be a difficult customer sometimes…but they did great, good come back. Highly recommend.

Great place to order pizza and wings. We also had the calamari and it was delicious. The poutine was just alright but wings were the standout menu item.

We literally just ordered from them at 4: 30 through Skip. It was a large order that I was charged for - and the food never arrived. I called the restaurant twice and both times the kid said it’s not their problem because they sent it with the skip driver. We know they don’t use the skip driver - they use their own driver. So that we exchange was odd. Also, even though my credit card was charged, the order is not appearing as complete - so I’m unable to ask for my money back. A pretty awful experience.

Ordered late night and order never arrived. Thankfully Uber refunded me. What a waste of time

This is a fantastic pizza. The wings were delicious and the calamari rings were cooked perfectly. Gyros and roasted potatoes are also excellent. Order tzatziki to go with them for extra deliciousness

The best pizza in Barrhaven hands down. They put the cheese on top. The wings and garlic sauce are also great.good ony ou Argos!

The food here is very good. I ordered today and it was fresh and delicious. Reasonable price as well.

INCREDIBLE! I have travelled all over Europe, including Italy and Greece, and can confidently say that Argos has some of the best pizzas I have ever tried. They have a special dough recipe they use, which is perfection and makes for such a delicious, crispy crust!

Their platters are also delicious, especially their chicken platter. Well worth the money. Fresh ingredients. The flatbread they make in the store is a MUST try.

I was having Muslim friends over and usually order from here and it’s good and on point. I asked for a halal pizza this time and instead of making it Muslim friendly they decide to prolong the order and when I arrive to pick it up 8 mins after the pizza was supposed to be ready, only to find out they haven’t made the order at all yet. Also being informed it would be another 20 mins before the pizza was ready. Feels a lack of respect for religious groups and untimely customer service.

Would definitely recommend One of the best in Barrhaven. Great pizza and the staff are amazing. I had an order mix up last night and they ended making it up to me in a half hour and it was one of the pizza I’ve had in a long time. Thanks guys!

The spicy BBQ chicken is very delicious. My kid likes the cheese sticks. The price is higher on Uber eat comparing with the price in the store.

I like the chicken bacon ranch Poutine but your employees keep messing up the order ‍️ Last time they put Caesar salad dressing ….

Food was ok, but the price they wanted to charge me did not reflect what was on their website. The fixed it but not a comfortable experience to have to point this out to them. The order had two cans of pop which they did not give me. I don’t think I’ll go back.

The chicken breast platter was delicious! We ordered lunch at work for my Birthday, everyone was really happy with it! Such a value for the $. Totally ordering again soon!

Ordered the 6 cheese pizza, so far the worst pizza I have ever tasted. Roasted potatoes were not worth it too.

Impersonal and mediocre experience. No one greets you as you enter. There’s nowhere to sit. You’re charged $2.50 for a bottle of water clearly listed for $1.25. Bread is hardened and flaky in the pita wrap. You wait 15 minutes in your car for food and can’t dine in. A perfect example of an inauthentic, careless chain restaurant just looking to make a buck.

The vegetarian options are WAY TOO SALTY! And they always forget a thing or two when ordering on Uber:) we have always give 0 tips or 20cents tips when we order on Uber to see the services (on Uber you can change tips after the order arrives!) and the 2 times I ordered there … the first time the guy super rudely gave me my order in hands and the tips I gave to the Uber app (oh it’s not a Uber driver but them selfs bringing the dileveries!) and yesterday he gave my boyfriend the order like TAKE IT rudely again and then he took the receipt and showed him that we gave him 20 cents tips xD I NEVER SEEN A RUDE PLACE LIKE THIS! If the service would have been good we would have changed the tips like we always do after order received:) anyway never ordering there again!

First time at the Barrhaven location and ordered a large Greek salad with chicken. Delicious and super fresh, the chicken was marinated and tender. Thank you!

We had the Souvlaki a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent but last night's pizza was a big disappointment. We ordered a large deluxe which is supposed to have Italian sausage but there wasn't any. Seems we got pieces of ham instead. We had pizza a lot of times when they were Yorgo's but something has changed. Besides the missing sausage the pizza was sweet and lacked flavour. Might try somewhere else for pizza.

Management contacted me and offered a full refund for the pizza. We used it on two souvlaki platters which were excellent. The gesture was appreciated.

I got the chicken wrap it was good, however it was expensive since it was a small wrap. For about $8 each I was expecting bigger.

Used to order all the time before they moved, but seems like they've changed the recipes since relocating.
We ordered the same things we usually did (pizzas, souvlaki, wings and spanakopita) and they weren't as good, sadly. Not bad exactly, but different.

Where do I even start? ! I ordered the small meat lovers pizza, lamb wrap and garlic dip since I had a craving I just couldn’t shake. The meat lovers pizza was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The dough was solid and perfectly cooked, with an abundance of delicious meat and cheese. The garlic dip was homemade and the perfect compliment to the pizza. I asked that the lamb be a bit pink and they totally delivered on that. Their tzaziki is off the chain, bread and toppings were fresh and delicious. I honestly have zero complaints. Delivery driver was super nice too:) 10/10 if you’re looking for some pretty amazing Greek food in Barrhaven! Worth the drive if you don’t live near here either!

Newer review*** Don’t. Order. Extra. Cheese. No matter how much you like cheese just don’t do it. Pizza has wayyyy too much cheese (all my fault, cause I asked for double), my boyfriend and I are eating it with a fork and knife at this point and it’s just not even half as enjoyable. Their pizza is perfect the way it is.

Always tasty. It's one of our 3 favourites we have in our rotation for pizza places. The Greek dishes are excellent as well.

Ordered here from Stittsville and it was worth the wait. Huge salad with REAL chicken. Just awesome.

Great place to order from and some of the best customer service I have ever
experienced Yorgos pizza truly knows how to take care of their customers.

Our uber driver had obviously dropped the pizza and still delivered it to us, with a simple quick call the gentleman in the front made us a new pizza and even stayed after closing to make sure that we got our pizza.

I ordered lamb souvlaki via takeout. They provided generous portions and the food was delicious. The roasted potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lamb was tender and juicy. The vegetables were crisp and fresh.

I would recommend ordering from here as the meal size is generous and is worth it for the price

Great pizza. I absolutely love the dip, unfortunately upon delivery, no dips were sent. I called to ask that they send them, I was told that they would credit my account. I shared that the point was to have the pizza with the dip that I paid for and they refused to bring them. I haven’t ordered since.

Worst pizza in Ottawa. Practically no sauce, no cheese, stale ingredients. The fact they'd let this leave their kitchen is absolutely embarrassing.

My brother told me about this place and all i can say is the food is amazing, the service is great and the store is always super clean.

The pizza was the best I've had in ages. Generous toppings and great taste. Also had the lamb souflaki. The rice and potatoes were very good and the lamb was cooked just right. The only negative I would give marks for was the portion size of tazziki, a little small for my preference.

The calamari is just gross. It is exactly the frozen rings (tiny) that Walmart sells. Again gross
Salad and potatoes whatever.
But it’s not real feta it’s a slice of white cheese product.
I flew in today new place, none of my things were here yet.so yeah the fork or napkin they did not give probably to cut costs (2cents) ) woulda been appreciated, I scooped up rice with the top of tatziki lid. Really hoping Ottawa 9 star places will be better than this. Absolutely disgusting food

Very well done.appreciate the side dressing for the salad instead of premixed.was very hot when I picked it up and I ordered waaay ahead of time and around 1: 30 am tastes as fresh as it would during a dinner rush.a wedge would have been nice because I like it on my rice. Best fast food in barrhaven hands down. Great pizza with homemade garlic sauce but I usually get the pita wrap and salad combo. Semi healthy yet delicious!

Yorgo’s has the best chicken wings in the city, hands down. We’ve tried many other restaurants for chicken wings, and Yorgo’s beats them all, every time. They’re super fresh, crispy and full of sauce. We also like they’re pizza and gyro’s. Highly recommend this place for a nice Friday night take-out.

This is probably the best pizza I've had in Ottawa. I ordered a thin crust and unlike most pizza places, the crust was actually thin and foldable. The cheese and sauce were delicious and the crust was amazing. Never would have guessed this awesome Greek spot would become my new favourite pizza place.

Loved this place. Usually it’s hard to estimate if an eat in Greek place will be any good or offer good value. With this place I can say that it does, portions are huge, I can feed my family of 4 for $40! The souvlaki is so flavourful and we get the variety combo which has lamb, chicken, and beef. Comes with Greek rice, salad, and pita bread for each person. Staff are also super so the food is out quickly and getting to chow down is a breeze. We will keep this place on our short notice meals Rolodex!

Great Greek food right in Barrhaven! The souvlaki platters are huge. My favourite is the spanakopita, perfectly flaky phyllo pastry.

Hot souvlaki platters, always! Everything is fresh from the rice to the crisp taste of the salad. Chicken is also moist and juicy. Also the potatoes are amazing, I always feel guilty asking for extra. AND THEY SHOULD OPEN A LOCATION IN THE EAST! Expansion is a must for these guys!

I ordered 7 XL pizzas of 5 different types for a group function. The order was ready on time and everyone was very pleased with all of the varieties. Substantial toppings compared to many pizza places.

Ordered for the first time from Yorgo's Barrhaven and was delighted with my chicken souvlaki platters! Lots of delicious food and made my belly smile

They say they offer gluten free products on their website but cannot answer questions as to weather or not their is gluten in their rice or potatoes. I stopped the questions there because the owner himself didn’t know his own product. People with celiac or gluten intolerances should stay clear of this place! You would think the owner would know what’s in the food.

Ordered at 10: 20pm 29th jan to find out the delivery guy had no change and expected me to tip 5$. Went in my house to find out they had forgotten 2 of my orders.very displeased with this place wouldnt recommend to anyone!
