Armando's Pizza - Riverside Dr

Everything was great and I would recommend this restaurant. We sat indoors, and it was clean and not too loud. I would suggest they improve the lighting it is quite dark inside and we were there for lunch. Also the tables are quite small and hard to find roo. For you water and wine glass.

I have eaten in the restaurant many times and it’s always been outstanding but tonight I ordered takeout and it was fantastic! I’m thrilled because I’m a single lady that loves great food. Now I can have it to go! (More than a thimble of salad dressing would make it perfect)

My two kids, my husband and I wanted to go for a birthday dinner. So I thought we choose this beautiful location. The second we walked in we did not feel very welcome our waitress was not very friendly at all. We had a couple questions about the Pizza and it seemed like we were really annoying her.terrible service we decided to get up and leave.

Food was good and server was very friendly. Took a bit to get food on table but that just gave us more time to visit with family.

My daughter loved her baby cheese and pepperoni pizza. Great customer service. First time there will plan to dine in next time.

Pizza took an hour to get here and was freezing cold. Called and the owner got lippy with me and started a fight after I was nice to him. I just wanted a credit on my account but apparently this guy has zero business sense.

We used to go here all the time and spend tons on the patio, but this hot head lost a customer. Lost a $1000 per year customer for a $5 food cost pizza.

Not surprising since Ive see him aggressively yelling at his employees in front of restaurant full of people on a few occasions. Trash.

I suggest everyone check out the new Antonio’s at the corner of Wyandotte & Thompson for high quality pizza with reputable owners.

One of my favorite restaurant in Windsor. Nice, cozy and calm place for dine in. The quality of the foods are absolutely high. The price is a little high but it worth it. Staffs are respectful but not always as friendly as you might expect.
The view of the restaurant is unique and peaceful. They also serve some local beers that I recommend.

We wanted to enjoy one of the last warm days so we sat on the patio. Appetizers seemed the best choice. The Ahi tuna tacos were incredibly delicious. The lobstr cakes were excellent. We also ordered a medium pizza which was also excellent. No complaints about anything.

We had the best risotto and enjoyed the setting, plus the service was attentive fast and courteous.
A great place for a casual lunch or dinner, nothing pretentious, just real people with good vibes.

So this adorable kid came in to my work today and in conversation mentioned he delivers for you. We normally order somewhere else to celebrate birthdays here but definitely want to place our next order just because of how nice he is! Rocco deserves this recognition he brings to your establishment so I hope you pass it on! This one's for you Rocco

We visited last Sunday with our out of town guests. (A party of 11). The service and food was terrific! Our server, did a great job especially considering an engagement party was going on. The food was great. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.

I'd like to know the chef's secret. How does he/she make such awesome food?

We've been there twice, and look forward to going again. I had the blackened salmon, and my wife had a steak. I loved the salmon, and tried the steak, and I'm not sure which one is better. Just go, and enjoy!

Everything was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size, which is generous. I will definitely be returning.

Best Armando's location wise. Food was good as well as service. Plenty of Parking available. Will definitely visit soon.

Very nicely surprised. Noticed from social media that they had an outdoor patio facing the river and Belle Isle.

We have gone to Armando's in the past for special events and it was good but it was pizza, pasta and salads. This location has a whole new level with delicious sophisticated entrees, appetizers and salads plus they still have Pizza.

We were with our friends and decided to get each a different dish.

Service was great, food was beautifully prepared, presented and tasty.

We will definitely go back to try out other dishes in their menu.

Ordered pizza for delivery. (address etc supplied as asked). 1 1/2 hours still no del. Called and was told it was for pick up. I asked why would they ask for address if it was for pickup, no reply other than it will now be delivered. Expected them to reheat first. No, it was cold and soggy.
I should have said, keep it. Never again from that location.

Horrible service today with @armando's pizza-Riverside. New girl taking orders incorrectly after 3x telling her 1/4 pepperoni 3/4 pepperoni, bacon and green pepper. Came with 1 king cheese pizza and 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 2x cheese bacon and green pepper. Myhusband called and spoke to the manager to get a correctly ordered pizza.and the manager told him to take his business elsewhere. Well we will. The meat tastes horrible btw. Never ordering from Armandos again.
. And they just came back because they underhanded and asked for more money. You guys are pathetic!

Ordered a Queen size pizza got to the restaurant and they apologized for the pizza being deformed with all the toppings pushed to one side of the pizza. They offered me 50% off but I asked if they could make me a new one and they did got home and the pizza was covered in garlic so bad I wondered if they did it on purpose. Awful experience for my first time I won't go back.

Usually good but tonight crust was so tough and not cut. Had to work at it. Large two toppings and $30.later. Not impressed.

Went to dine in for Mother's Day today and was frankly disappointed. My family and I were excited about this new pizzeria as we've been to the other Armando's in Windsor and enjoyed the food.

My first impressions of the place weren't the best; wasn't very clean and looked more like a bar than a pizzeria; especially compared to the other Armando's in Windsor.

What was surprising was that there was pretty much nobody there for Mother's Day.which should've been a red flag from the start.

We ordered two pizzas and here are my and my family's thoughts on them:
- cold
- bland
- too thin, reminded me of grade school free pepperoni pizza
- low # of toppings

The service was also disappointing and unpleasant; the server did not even wish us a happy Mother's day

Our experience was extremely poor and I strongly recommend against visiting this place, unless the food, staff, and experience change.

Ask waitress whats better veal or chicken parm? She says chicken best not veal. Well. Chicken parm was rubber. So thin it was like eating burnt rubber with dried bread crumbs.as you see totally disappointed. I did not eat it. They actually said if I want they will give me extra Chicken or noodles to take home. Lol. I said I'm not paying for this. So they charged for my dates dinner and the 2 drinkes we had so bad night and I had to go home and cook my own dinner. No sorry or what ever from this place.

We love going here for consistent good food, good service. Reasonable prices for pizzas, appetizers and mains as well as tasty mixed drinks
