Armando's Pizza - Amherstburg - Dine-in, Takeout & Delivery

Celiac person here: not a gluten free poser. We had the BBQ chicken pizza here today for lunch and shared a Greek salad. Damn, that was the best pizza I have had in literally years. The crust was perfectly light, tender and just the right chew. No skimping on the chicken and the Greek dressing on the salad was homemade. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Don't go to this location if your just looking for a slice with dipping sauce.the slice sits out for way too long not that I can fully blame them for that alone. But the worst part is my creamy garlic sauce I asked for tastes like it has dill flavoring in it. Overall this is the worst Armandos location I have been to.

Edit: I should also state I dont know what thier fresh pizzas are like at this location but assuming they are as good as most locations they will be fine for that. However get your own dipping sauce from Walmart its cheaper and tastier. Also don't get a slice here unless your certain its been freshly made.

I always get the deep dish pizza on Sunday’s. In my personal opinion, you will not find a better pizza anywhere else. Ordering is easy, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the pizza is the best you’ll ever have. Would give it 6/5 stars if I could.

Always so delicious. I make sure to include it in any of my trips home to Windsor even though it's a 30 minute drive to get out there. The dill pickle pizza is so worth it and the service is always fast and friendly no matter how busy!

We were out on the bike today from Chatham-Kent area and stopped in for some Windsor style pizza that I had been craving for a while now. Armando's Amherstburg did not disappoint. The staff were awesome, the beer was cold, the loaded tater tots and the 12" super were delicious and prices were decent! Will stop in again when we are in the area. Worth spending your hard earned dollars here! BTW my husband finally understands what I was going on about "Windsor" pizza!

Tried to order Pasta that I got at the Lasalle location, but Amherstburg didn't offer it. So then after going through their Menu I ask what if I build a pasta with the sauce and topping that was in what I was trying to order, and they say yes I can do that. So already annoying that they didn't just say we don't offer it but how about we build a pasta. Well they forgot to add the toppings to it and used the wrong sauce anyways so wasted money on something that I did not want.

Love thier pizza and customer service is great.only wish they stayed open on weekends later for late night cravings

I understand no place is perfect and people make mistakes, at the end of the day we’re only human. That being said; my order was completely messed up, not even close to what was ordered. The guy was very polite and said he misunderstood me. The next time I order I’ll be given 50% off, which was okay when my kids didn’t eat their food. When I called to redeem my 50% off my next order the person said they don’t have anything on file. Not pleased with this location. The prices have gone through the roof, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. Would’ve given it a - Negative 2 Star but the gentleman was at least polite.

We recently had a private event (small wedding dinner) held in the dining room. The Staff was friendly and attentive. The setting was cozy and comfortable. From salads, to pastas, to chicken and, of course, pizza that their world renowned pizza chef and owner created by blending flavours from both Canadian and El Salvadorian cultures and even named it after the newly wedded couple. Amazing! I would most definitely recommend Armando's Amherstburg to family and friends.

The sauces he creates are so unique and addictive! Green goddess and the blueberry sauce.utter perfection! Definitely, absolutely give Armando's Amherstburg a try.you'll get addicted just like us! Wish I could give it 1000 gold stars!

Best pizza EVER! The armandos team is always so kind and upbeat, and the Professor's Sunday Detroit style creations are simply amazing. We order a pizza weekly and have never been disappointed!

Thought it was the best pizza and wings about 3 1/2 yrs ago, certainly has gone down hill with the new management. Very disappointed

Amazing experience! The owner Dean is the most passionate pizzamaker I have ever met. The iconic Windsor pizza is famous because of people like Dean. You need to try the menu and def try Detroit style pizza, they are famous for it

The Detroit pizza is worth it. Place has the weirdest patio walls in Amherstburg. Looks like they are worried about the next war of 1812. Food is great and staff rocks. 5 stars if you get rid of the cinder block patio walls.

We had the Porko Cinco it was awesome. We'll be definitely stopping in again the next time where down that way. Well done.

I was told try the Detroit style pizza on Sundays, I drove 40min to get pizza and oh man was it worth it, hands Down the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had

Armandos has always been a family favorite in the plastow house. Today we order chicken sandwiches for the first time. After waiting for the sandwiches our order finally got here! We were pumped to try something new. The 100times iv ordered from Armandos i have never got a messed up order. But today that changed we got chicken parm instead of sandwiches? So to the phone i went and called. I ended up talking to the professor about what happened. We got it fixed and the right food was at our door in 5mins. The sandwiches were hot the fries were hot the blood meal was fantastic to say the least. This experience has not pushed us away from ordering. This review shouldnt hinder you from ordering. It should be useful for letting you know how awesome the staff at Armando Amherstburg are top notch

The Pickle Zaaa pizza was amazing. I ordered at 5: 00 for a 6: 30 delivery, it was right on time, piping hot. Also got the Porko Cinco, excellent as well.

As for pizza places in Amherstburg I do believe it is the best for price and quality. I've ordered from this place multiple times and I don't think I've ever been disappointed.for example, today I tried to order the Detroit deep-dish (its hard to order because it sells out so fast lol) So instead order a thin crust, and I'm still happy I got that pizza even if was heart broken about not getting that deep-dish haha. Either way Awesome pizza, and the chicken wings are actually extremely good as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good pizza!

Food was good, staff was friendly! I always love getting pizza for delivery & love stopping in to the xaco taco for salads & corn tacos.

I love the vegan pepperoni and cheese, so good! Paired with the already amazing Armando's crust and sauce? Got yourself a winner. My family's favorite place to grab pizza, this and also the Cabana Road location.

We ordered 3 chicken parm dinners to go, 2 with penne and 1 with speghetti. The chicken in all 3 was good but the one with spaghetti had a bad smell. I don't think the pasta was good. It smelt foul not good. So a waste of money on 1 dinner. But it made me question the other 2 dinners as well. If they could sent out rotten pasta to customers then I'm iffy on all of it.

It was ok. Not what i expected. Liked the old Armando s. Taco bell is upscale to this. Salsa was not very good.

I can honestly say I’m extremely disappointed with our experience since the re opening. We placed an order online I opted to call just to verify delivery time being it was indicated 1hr 15 mins I opted to pick it up being told 45 mins. Upon arrival an hour later our order still was not ready it was an additional 20 mins. Upon getting our order home you can feel that our food was not very hot my husbands panzerotti was disgraceful, it was sliced open on the side with very little toppings on the inside. A call was made at 7: 33 regarding our order a replacement order showed up almost 30 mins later. For what our order cost the quality and poor service didn’t justify the amount spent. I can appreciate when establishments are busy but when your service and quality of food suffer from it, this is what makes customers not want to return.
