Armenian Kitchen Restaurant

This is one of my favourite places in Toronto. It feels like visiting family and the food is amazing. Don’t miss the lentil soup.

Best lentil soup! We also love their hummus, babaganoush, tabbouleh and falafels. We’ve been going there for years. Great food!

Really nice local Armenian Restaurant. Plenty of variety to choose from and everything is made fresh and done right. The service was good and the prices were fair so we’d definitely return again someday

My favourite Armenian/Lebanese food in the GTA, and the only place I eat falafels. It's the only restaurant that makes falafels as good as the long-gone Aida's restaurants on Bloor near Bathurst and on Yonge near Wellesley used to make.

Very bad experience. Charge more, food was not fresh, never go there.

Our favourite place for middle Eastern food. Best hummous in town. They are open for takeout during pandemic with reduced hours.

Update Jan 2022: . Kitchen staff do not wear masks. We don't want to get Covid, so unfortunately, this place is now "off our list".

I've been coming to Armenian kitchen for years now. I don't live anywhere close to it but I whenever I am in the area, I stop by to pick up take out.

Their Chicken Shawarma is the best in the city and the price can't be beat. I love that the use chicken breast for their shawarmas. They roast tomatoes and the juices from the chicken drip down on to it to crate a savoury delight. We always get extra garlic paste to eat with our sandwiches. They also make a great fatoush salad which I always get as my side. Its the perfect lunch or light dinner.

The customer service is great. The chef is always friendly and has a great sense of humour. He must have been really happy the last time I was there to pick up food because he was singing.:) Love this place.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, The food is amazing, so authentic and fresh. I dream of their Baba Ganoush, chicken pita, tabouli salad, lentil soup. The flavours are amazing and the value for money fantastic.

Cannot say enough about the food at this hidden gem restaurant. The owner is incredible and is always friendly and in good spirits. The food is nothing short of amazing. Literally every menu item you order will not disappoint. The most phenomenal lentil soup I've ever had. The portions are generous, the quality is excellent and you won't believe the prices.reasonable to say the least. Take out only at this time but whatever you order, you'll love. 1000% recommend!

I adore this venue a lot.there is a great feeling. The cuisine is superb.the service is powerful and the waiters are trained. The price is modest.very much recommend.

We have been coming here for more than 25 years. There is not one thing on the menu that is not 100% delicious. Especially recommend the smoky baba ghanouj (perfection). Generous portions and reasonable prices.just cannot go wrong. May you stay in business at least another 25 years!

My friend turned me on to this place when he ordered food from here for a party. I don't know a whole lot about Armenia to be honest, but I do know they must have amazing food. I've since ordered from here for several parties at home and for the office and am never dissapointed.

I come here every chance I get. Bolous makes the best shawarma in town. Never fails to impress. If you’re looking for amazing middle eastern food this is the best place to go to!

Food was very tasty, it was my first experience to Armenian cuisine. I ordered platter and my colleague ordered sandwiches. The portions were huge and very tasteful.
I’m giving 4 starts only because of slow service. There was one chef and one lady taking orders and serving food. We had to wait for getting attended. However I strongly recommend this place for foodies.

Horrible experience! I went there with a couple of friends for lunch, in my mom’s memory, who passed last Thursday.
Service wasn’t good. Was a new girl (started 3 weeks ago), and she had no idea of anything.
Anyway, she try to be nice, compared with the “chef” (or owner, I’m not sure exactly) atitudine.
Food was bad, nothing special. The steak, my partner ordered was stale with a slightly smell, and not able to cut. Anyway, I ended to pay over $ 100 for a bad experience.
I was embarrassed that I invited my friends over to this place, and we went to other armenian
restaurant called Mayrik, where was a huge difference. The owner and waiter, they knew how to treat and value acustomer. They turn a bad experience around.

Have been coming here as far back as I can remember. Food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. Some of our favourites are the hummus and labaneh dips, the fatouche, kubbeh and falafel. And the shawarma sandwiches are the best!

Literally the worst service you can expect. Waited over half an hour and didn't even get a glass of water.
It's sad because I live close and have been here before but never again. Honestly when you see a group being waited on hand and foot and you can't even get a menu you feel insulted.

Beautiful place and very nice staff, amazing food and great help when deciding since everything is very tasty.

I used to come here 15+yrs ago and just today decided to try it again after moving back to Toronto and learning that it's still around

I must say.its as good as I remember if not better!
I ordered the shawarma combo which comes with chicken or beef shawarma (or mixture of two), baba ganouche, hummus, and some delicious taboule salad.all that for $14.99! They serve generous portions and the food will definitely leave you satisfied!

If you're in the area I highly recommend you check this place out, I mean they've been around for 40 years so you know they are tried, tested and true!

The hummus, Labaneh, and baba ganoush were delish! It was busy on Saturday night and the parking was hard to come by. They could have used more staff as it took a while to get menus and even longer to get the bill. The place has been there for over 30 years, so they're doing well

I'm amazed to see all of these good reviews for this place. Such a poorly run restaurant. I don't know if we just came at a bad time but my family had a disappointing experience here. It was evident that many of their items were store-bought. Semi-stale pitas right out of a bag, canned beans and pickles. Despite this the food was good as well as reasonably priced, but nothing amazing. However the service was atrocious. There were 3 girls at the front and we were 1 of 2 tables on a slow Sunday night. After taking an insane amount of time to take our order, our items came out one by one at significant intervals. We didn't even get all of our dished yet when we realized my father's lamb was not cooked well-done as requested. The main server came by to take the dish back but she didn't even apologize for the mistake. We waited an abnormal amount of time for it to come back- embarrassingly enough she came back to check on us before the dish even returned to us! There were 3 servers in the front and they couldn't seem to do the job of a single adequate one combined. The carpet was filthy as well. My parents drove out from Mississauga to try this place with me and it was a huge disappointment. My guess is this place used to be better when it opened and has seriously declined overall. Do not be mislead by the overall review.

Onw of my favorite restaurants! The chicken can use little more seasoning like they used to, but I'm sure they cut they seasoning down for westerners! Still one of my favorite places to dine! Their lentil soup and chicken noodle soup is to die for!

Superb family owned restaurant. Lamb kabab was perfectly cooked and tender while the chicken schwarma was precisely seasoned. Really friendly and helpful service that will keep us coming back.

Holy hackinaw. This place makes phenomenal food and the portions are monstrous. Old school vibe, feels like time travel.

The price and taste is really good! Try to stop by sometimes and eat there even though I live really far from there. One waitress was kind and smiled but another one didn’t smile at all and wasn’t kind.

The wife and I could go there every week to eat. Start off with the hummus dip, it is delicious. Their mains are smaller but it really is enough food.

Omg is this place ever an amazing place to eat! Everything made from scratch nothing frozen them cooked. Very clean and staff is so friendly. I've been going for almost 10 years and will continue going.

Meat is very dry, bread served (for take out) in retail packaging from no frills, overall very little out of Armenian kitchen, can't believe that Armenian can run place like that. Reviews likely fake

Finally a place you can get middle eastern food served with alcohol. Loved it. Specially their salad platter.

I've been to this place before, and can confidently say it's declining rapidly. This last experience was my worst, and I will def not be going back again. Food was dry and old, service was incredibly slow and not attentive (our waters were not refilled, we asked for 3 separate bills, and ended up with the total bill just split in 3 even pieces)
MOST NOTABLY there was a cockroach on the wall beside my colleague (not joking).

Great place. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. The serving sizes are quite large, unless you're very hungry you will probably be taking left overs home. Also, there is lots of parking as it is in a small plaza.

Legendary source of Armenian flavours set in a vintage Scarborough strip mall setting. Don't go for the decor; go for the impeccable executions and the warm humanity with which you are greeted. Always a treat.

Great middle eastern food. The highlight is the fattoush salad and their assortment of kabobs and shawarma. The fries are pretty good also.

They put love into making the kebabs, sauces and soup. Seating is ordinary but the food takes the cake. I gave 4 stars because their bread is very average and within this category I feel good bread makes a difference.

Wonderfully delicious food. Very flavorful stuff. Their food was allll very good and fresh. We went as a large group and tried almost everything on the menu and there were absolutely no complaints from our table. It's a very cozy and cute family-run restaurant. Very tasty food. Can't wait to go back.

Best falafels in town, hands down. I try and grab a meal here a couple times a month and I can't recommend it enough. It's just a great little spot.
