Jennifer, the Move Manager, was very responsive and attentive to all my needs and requests. It made the whole packing and moving process smooth.

Mark (our move manager) did a great job along with the crew members (supervised by Michel Niemczycki) who made our move a breeze despite the issues we had with the elevator! Thank you folks!

The company was able to book us in at super short notice, which was amazing, and the four movers who emptied our apartment were fabulous. My deepest thanks again to Shawn, Jayden, Gord, and Milan!

From start to finish, this company was very professional. Bruce absolutely sold us with his presentation when he came to give us an accurate quote. He estimated 16,000 and we were just under 15,000. We were only charged for the actual weight but felt comforted by the 110% guarantee as we could then budget 10%, if indeed, if we were more weight than he anticipated.

The movers in both Ontario and our destinations of New Brunswick were fantastic. These gentlemen were very professional, polite and accommodating.

We would absolutely recommend Armstrong moving to anybody looking to make your move so much simpler. This service was literally priceless for us as moving from one province to another is it huge task. Armstrong moving absolutely helped make this transition smoother.

I would highly recommend anybody considering any moves no matter how far to consider hiring professional movers as a difference in our exhaustion level was in miserable.

My wife and I relocated from Toronto to Boston this summer. We went with Armstrong because we had a positive experience on a previous move from western Massachusetts to Toronto. This move was beyond bad-from start to finish it was terrible and unprofessional. I 100% do not recommend working with this company.

A list of the problems we faced:

1) The estimate was way off. About 40% above the accurate pricing. When asked about this the pricing manager was very rude.
2) ***two watches were stolen during packing services provided by the company***
3) Several items arrived broken. These included our TV and furniture.
4) Movers refused to provide unpacking services that we had already paid for.

The company did little to address these issues beyond a general apology and a small reimbursement. More details below.

To begin, the estimates provided at the start of the move were extremely inaccurate. We were quoted over $10,000 USD at the start for a *smaller* move than we had made 2 years before. The
stock of moving items was also incredibly inaccurate. For example, it listed two beds when we only had 1, and accounted for 42 boxes of books, which made no sense. When I inquired about this with Bruce, their pricing manager, he was incredibly dismissive and rude. He claimed that I was exaggerating, or trying to downplay what we had, and that their surveyors were usually correct. Turns out they were wrong.

We ended up paying just over $6000.00 for the move. While Armstrong only charges for the final weight of the shipment, the inaccuracy of the estimate created headaches with the sponsor of the move (it was paid for due to a new job), unnecessary discussions, and set low expectations for the move from the outset. Still, given our past experiences with the company, we decided to move forward.

This leads to the next problem. We paid for packing services and unpacking services. Packing day seemed to go okay. Upon arriving to Boston however, we realized that two watches had been stolen during the move (funny enough, the Timex that was in the same case did arrive). The two watches were graduation presents and had important sentimental value. The TV also arrived broken as did one of our nightstands. The TV was packed vertically, not in a TV box, with zero padding, and alongside glassware that also arrived broken. Further, we did not realize about all these issues immediately because the movers refused to unpack upon arrival. They claimed that they did not have time/space to unpack.

We submitted a claim for the stolen and broken items and were offered a $500 reimbursement. An option for a $1000 reimbursement was offered with the caveat of undergoing an investigation to prove that we were not lying. Do you really need to place a burden of proof on your costumers when we provided photos of the broken items and are also discussing stolen goods on a company-provided packing service? We took the $500 simply because we did not want to deal with this company any longer. Absolutely disappointing, unprofessional behavior from start to finish.

There are many moving companies out there. Go with a different one.

It is worth saying that Erich Bocher, our move coordinate was great. He was the only positive part of this experience. Armstrong should promote him to keep any semblance of responsive customer service and professionalism.

Relocated from UK to Canada. Communication was excellent and I was kept up-to-date with all the arrangements. All the team members I came into contact with were friendly and well informed. The movers themselves on both sides, were courteous, helpful and patient. I highly recommend Armstrong.

My luggage was transported from Germany, and throughout the process, they promptly addressed all my emails and inquiries. I'm pleased to report that my luggage arrived safely.

On Friday 3 November, our goods were moved into our Toronto apartment after being shipped from South Africa. The team was Shawn Buric, Jamie, and George. They moved everything across a street and up a tricky flight of stairs into the apartment, and some of the things up a further narrow indoor flight of stairs. They were really thoughtful about where things should go, and details such as where rugs could be rolled out. We were impressed with the professionalism and strength they had to use to get everything into a small apartment. Their experience really showed. We felt that our goods were well looked after in their hands and we really appreciate the hard work - they were here about 5 hours getting it all done. We can recommend this team for outstanding service.

Both were on time, worked quickly but efficiently and were friendly and took direction extremely well.

A few unexpected bumps in the road but they got me through in the end and we are grateful. My only advice when moving is to lower expectations if you're not sure and be open and flexible as it's an impossible process to perfect. Don't expect perfection, but expect a team to support you through it all and they will

Blew me away that they communicated and arrival time and MET IT! Things only got BETTER, they were very good about asking to place the contents where ever I wished, unpackage anything I wished, and take all the packaging away without me expecting or asking.

They also took absolute care with every item which included a very heavy garden tractor and substantial gun safe.

Provided me with details of every package that I close not to unpackage as well as those that I chose to unpackage.

Honestly, I had very low expectations. Not only did these guys exceed my expectations but absolutely set a new standard of excellence.

I had an unfortunate experience with Armstrong moving. After delivering our belongings, while at our home, their driver acted in an unacceptable and unsafe way (moving aggressively in space, raising his voice, opening our personal belongings without permission, grabbing pages from our hands and writing in them, etc.). In the last three years we used the services of six moving companies, and this behavior wasn't even in the ballpark of anything we've experienced before.

Other than that there were minor incidents (one broken piece of furniture, delivery window missed by a couple of days, electronics not wrapped carefully despite agreeing to do so in advance), but they are unimportant in comparison.

Thank you Armstrong for always being with me in every memorable time of my life. Allan, Adam, and Samuel did an outstanding job for me.

Last week I had the movers come in to the house and pack up my belongings. They were very careful, highly professional and courteous. They kept me informed during the whole process.
