I was very disappointed with the service at this place. Before leaving, I wanted to use the washroom, but they said it was already closed because they were closing soon. This was at 4.40 pm, they close at 5. This is not what you want to hear when you're 8 months pregnant (and also after you paid $7 for a medium coffee). I was there for about 40 minutes, they could have warned me in advance. I'll never go back.

Stopped here with my wife to take a break from the cold. Excellent spot! We enjoyed a herbal tea and a cheese Danish that was so yummy.

Subject: Complaint about Poor Service at Aroma Restaurant

Dear Management,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience my family and I had at your Aroma restaurant today. We have been satisfied customers in the past, which is why we chose to dine at your establishment. However, our recent visit left us extremely dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were disappointed by the lack of interaction and information provided at the checkout point. We were not informed about any additional services or options available to us, which resulted in some confusion later on.

While placing our order, we specifically requested a small coffee, but we were served an excessively large one. This was not only unexpected but also wasteful. Furthermore, when our soup was brought to the table, we noticed that there was no bread or crouton accompanying it. As my daughter, who is only 4 years old, desired bread with her soup, I approached the cashier to request it separately. To my surprise, I was informed that it was no longer complimentary and had to be purchased. This contradicted my previous experiences where it had been provided free of charge.

After placing the order for the bread and crouton, we were given a stand-by device to wait for its arrival. However, the device was set to vibrate, making it inconvenient for us to be alerted when the order was ready. I expressed my concern that the delay in receiving the crouton would cause our soup to get cold, and I requested that it be brought promptly. It took a considerable amount of time for the kitchen staff to respond and deliver the crouton.

When the crouton finally arrived, I was shocked by the small portion and the number of pieces provided. A mere 20 dry tones in a small container hardly constituted a satisfactory serving. I raised this concern with the service staff, and they consulted a more experienced employee. Unfortunately, the experienced staff member displayed a cold and unfriendly attitude, lacking effective communication skills. This demeanor was consistent among all the service personnel we encountered, who seemed unhelpful and unresponsive to our concerns.

Regrettably, this overall negative experience has left a lasting impact on my family. Unless absolutely necessary, we are reluctant to return to Aroma restaurants in the future. I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and address the issues we encountered, ensuring that other customers do not face similar disappointments.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I can assure you that I used to say that Aroma was one my favourites places to come eat, sadly, since I move here recently this is the only location that is near me and 99% of the time, food is great, coffee is great and staff are friendly. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the manager, every time I try to order something he is either throwing stuff or being rude with the workers in the cashier, even a few times he doesn’t have a good attitude to the customers. As a regular customer it is rather uncomfortable to see how their own supervisor treat their workers so poorly, and in view of the previous comments, it seems that I’m not the only one who see this. Maybe I’ll take some time out going there so often.

Awful staff. Aroma is my go to coffee chain. I always have great service and love the food & drinks. However, I came to this location on a Sunday morning at 10: 00am right when they opened and tried to order a drink that supposedly was not on their menu. I have ordered an iced hazelnut latte at every other aroma location except for this one, who said they are unable to make it. I explained to them that this was the only location that continuously caused me problems but I understood that it wasn’t the staffs fault. A really nice Supervisor Karina helped me out and explained everything and apologized for the inconvenience. Then all of a sudden “Tima” who is a supposed “shift lead” came out and said “why don’t you just go to another location then”. The supervisor (Karina) apologized right away and said that she understood I was just trying to have a conversation. Again, I’m not one to leave reviews usually, nor is it a huge deal, but I thought the way Tima was treating customers including myself was awful.

I usually don’t want to leave a bad review but I need to tell this. I've visited here a few times and the one of the staff who is cleaning table try to remove the plate and mugs too often even before finishing the food. One time I only took a bite of sandwich, but she came to my table and tried to take my plate. She was constantly snooping near the table and trying to get rid of everything. I've seen countless other customers tell her not to take it because they haven't eaten yet. And this is uncomfortable. I can understand the effort to keep the store clean, but I think it's too much. Still, the matcha latte is delicious and the shop is in a good location.

Feb 21,2023 - great place with great staff.we are not the first time here.this time we decided to leave a review and remove one star for the behavior of the supervisor, as we understood it was him.we were greeted as always very friendly, then the attendant came up, he began to abruptly intervene in our conversation with the cashier, it was not very nice.he behaved especially disgustingly with the team in front of us (clients). Guys, you are wonderful. I really sympathize with you and your "chief". Very rude manager, disgusting experience. 4 stars for delicious food and smiling staff.if not for the leader, they would have left all 5.

Food can be quite pricey but really worth it as it’s so delicious and healthy. Drinks are good too. A lot of seating to do work or read. Clean place and Friendly staff.

Coffee was nice but don't order the breakfast. Way over charged for two eggs and the thinnest slice of ham possible!

The washroom has been out of service for a couple of months now. I enjoy sitting and having multiple drinks when I am writing or reading. A washroom is a must in such cases.
