Our first visit for the lunch buffet, had a decent number of varieties. We went late and it was closer to closing time. Since we asked for a refill, they did. Which was impressive. Felt the food was very bland for the Indian taste but we understand the reason and sure will visit again for al a cart dinner.
The food was decent but it took forever to come! We waited atleast an hour before the food came! I would not recommend this place unless you had enough time to spare
I recently dined at Aroma and had an amazing experience. The Naan and Dal Makhani were incredibly delicious and served promptly. The restaurant's calm and chill vibe made it a perfect place to relax, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it for a satisfying meal
Dead roach in my naan. Very disappointed. This was one of our favourite places to get Indian food with coworkers. Consider our business through with this place.
We arrived at the restaurant around 2: 10 PM for a late lunch, and the server informed us that they were only offering the buffet and no à la carte menu. However, he neglected to mention that they would be closing the restaurant at 3: 00 PM.
Our original waiter told us that we could take our time eating, as long as we grabbed the food we needed by 3: 00 PM so they could start cleaning up.
While we were eating, another waiter approached us and told us we had to leave. Meanwhile, there was a table of four men who were continuing their lunch and chatting away without being asked to leave. We were so mortified by the disrespect, so we left.
The food was cold, and the customer service was unprofessional and rude. I will not be returning back.
A Big NO for this place, food isn’t good in taste and they asked us to pay 15% tip. It was so rude for them to ask us a tip even though we were not happy with that place.
Honestly surprised how great the chicken biriyani tasted! Came during the TiFF festival and it very close to it! Definitely would recommend to check it out!
I had the salmon tikka and it was the most tender salmon I've ever had in Ontario. I'm not sure how I'm going to order anything else next time! Other highlights are their butter chicken, garlic naan and malai kofta (it's not on the menu but they have something extremely similar!). Amazing service for our group of six and the owner stopped by to chat and was very kind. Hopefully they will have Kingfisher beer in next time ;)
The best taste of indian food I have found in Toronto at the moment. A must visit place to get the true flavors of India. They make food with less spices so it's easy to digest for everyone. The taste of paneer was lip smacking and naan was also the best, especially since it didn't become hard after it cooled down. On top of that mango lasi was awesome, must try that too. Do visit if you are a fan of indian food and visit downtown, it is just 5 min walk from cn tower and near st Andrews station.
Last week, ordered catering for office. The quantity is sufficient and food was served hot with great taste. Nice staff and excellent service with great tasty food. I am ordering/having it since 2011 and good to see that quality is maintained.
Ordered take out from this place, very disappointed to find they did not furnish platic utensils with the meal. I ordered butter chicken, which was nothing great. However, for those looking for quantity over quality, this place is for you.
It's a hidden gem The servers are courteous kind and warm. Sanjeev was super sweet and Rahul as well. Good menu, good food. We had Kofta dilruba and naan and kulcha. Quantity is fine. Taste as well.
Ok the review needs to be broken down into two pieces, food and costumer service. For context we went on the 12 of August at 12 PM, 2 people
Food was pretty decent at best. The veg pakora, fish fry and somasa were all cold, way too salty, and unappetizing a bit. The butter chicken was okay! The rice was a bit too grainy. I am not sure if this is the chef or a or how they manage the buffet or that particular day.
Then comes service. To be honest one of the poorest and greediest waiters I have seen. He was very demeaning, and disrespectful. We took a bit of extra raita and some was left over and he goes “just make sure you only take what is necessary” in a very rude tone. And when we were going to pay, we did not tip him because obviously this was a buffet and it was not like at any point he cleared our tables either, my man goes YOURE supposed to pay a min of 15% service charge. Mhm excuse me? For what service? And for that attitude? This needs to be taken up and dealt with because I am not the first person who has had this experience.
Yesterday we came here. First of all it was expensive & the food was ok. The raita tasted awful. The server who came to our table to collect the plates were rude, said why did you waste raita (yogurt dip). We don’t like to waste food. It was just a little bit of raita (yogurt dip) & it tasted awful. We have tried so many different restaurants. There were no server who said such things. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
A BIG NO! Google needs to add a Zero star option for real. This place is a SCAM they serve stale food and they have the worst customer service. They give weird reasons of why the food is stale! I don’t need reasons I don’t care, I just expect good food for the price I’m paying! There are many better Indian buffets so please avoid this place and save your dollars. Such a shame: (
Rude and uncourteous staff gave a lecture about tipping norms after poor service. You shouldn't expect a tip without adequate service. Wouldn't recommend. To our surprise, non-Indian customers looked to be taken care of. Wouldn't go again.
