I went for underarms and brazillian sugaring, the lady did not touch me, she would ask me to stretch for her, how come a person who is feeling pain can stretch? Our hands autimatically can not! I have done brazillian 4 times and i swear this was 10 times the pain. There were alot of hairs left on lips. It felt like i used nair. Request to owner, if your employee can not stretch for their customers, or she feels bad to touch it, she should have chosen other profession. You just lost a client, i will never return to this place. Would prefer to go at any far location but will definitely be not returning. One more thing. She did not apply any aloe, she just put alot of powder due to which i could not even see the left over hairs. Change her before u lost all your clients. And they gave me a used towel to put on me, not hygenic at all

Just had my first waxing experience at Aroma and I can’t imagine going elsewhere. Ingrid is so professional, personable and great at her job. She is gentle and the attention to detail is amazing! Give this place a try!

Honestly people just review here with a good review because they get five dollars off their service the owner is rude and unprofessional and hostile

I’ve been coming here for just over two years now. Ingrid is always so friendly and good to have conversations with durning sessions, but, also will let you enjoy silence, if that’s what your prefer. I always have a professional and efficient service provided each time I come here. Would highly recommend if your looking for somewhere with easy booking, flexible hours, and a friendly staff.

I visited Aroma Waxing Clinic Streetsville for the first time today after not waxing more almost 2 years. I had a Brazilian wax and also my eyebrows waxed by Denzl. First of all, Denzl was amazing, very sweet, talked me through the process even though waxing isn't new to me, but still she made me feel super comfortable! This was probably one of the best waxing experiences by far. I was also educated on aftercare which no other place has ever suggested when I have been waxed. I will definitely be back and will recommend Aroma to others! Thanks Denzl!

Love the care and customer service provided by Ingrid and Denzl. I regularly had Denzl for sugaring, and she slowly eased me into finally trying a full Brazilian with patience & care. I have a ton of anxiety and sweat profusely when I'm nervous, and Denzl always professionally got me relaxed while she expertly sugared my unwanted hair. She also always answered my many questions and concerns regarding aftercare and care between visits and suggested the best products and care advice based on my hairs growth-cycle.

I had THE BEST wax/sugaring experience today with Ingrid! I was visiting from out of town and so glad I took the recommendation to go here. Ingrid is wonderful, and very fast and professional. It was virtually painless! She is so thorough and kind. I will deff be back if I am back in town again!

I love aroma waxing. My friend actually referred me to Aroma and gave me her etsy Siman. Siman is amazing.i love love love her.you go in and she greets you and even when she’s waxing me she makes me feel so comfortable and we have many convos and i love talking to her. Siman really treats her clients like friends not clients and i love that.it makes it very welcoming and less nerve wracking for people who may be new to waxing.ever since i started waxing especially with Siman i don’t wanna go back! And for the facility it’s self, it’s a very clean cute and nice facility, i think it’s also very professional and i love how when you make appointments they email you a reminder closer to your appointment.that helps a lot.they are also very punctual as well.overall i really like aroma and i would recommend it and siman especially to anyone.

I’ve had great experiences with both Ingrid and Siman. They provide expert waxing services in a very clean, hygienic environment. I’ve felt super comfortable coming to this clinic, even during the pandemic, because I know these ladies work hard to keep everything sanitary. Their online booking system makes booking appointments quick and easy. And I always leave looking better than when I came in. Thanks ladies!

I booked with Ingrid based on the prior reviews that I saw online and I was definitely not disappointed. She's very friendly and knowledgable! I only had an underarm sugaring for my first service, however I will definitely return for other services in the future.

Based on what I witnessed personally during my sister's service. I had a complimentary service and full services scheduled but went and paid full price at another spa (heed the lesson). My sister was scheduled to be waxed by Ingrid the owner initially. Due to circumstance, she needed to have her wax done a few days earlier, she was assured wasn't a problem by the tech on staff. It was my sister's first wax. She's almost certain the technician asked her and was aware. The technician didn't touch her at all during the wax. She told my sister where to pull her skin and ripped away. Yes, as a result of shaving ingrown hairs are inevitable & will take a few services to be resolved. However, the amount of hair left behind was unprofessional, she didn't tweeze & didn't provide a full service. If you've had a Brazilian Wax then you know all areas that are included in a full service. Immediately after waxing my sister, I witnessed this tech go outside on her phone and mentioned that she was still at work. I guess that call was more important than providing a full service for which you were tipped. After visiting another medical spa in Mississauga and having an underarm wax to test their skill and hygiene, my sister was very pleased with her service and hygiene. The technician at Aroma didn't switch wax sticks between applications to maintain cleanliness. I should've realized hygiene wasn't high on her list of importance when we went into the spa to confirm the appointment beforehand. The technician was tweezing her face in the mirror in full view of all cars and pedestrians (without gloves at worst).
After calling repeatedly & kindly, my sister requested a partial refund from the owner although she should've been given a full refund. She called after her service was done, after showering, seeing the mess and wax residue she was left with. The technician didn't clean her off, didn't use any calming cream which the owner is about to start selling, neither gave her any after care instructions as it was her first wax.nothing.
Ingrid the owner said she would be to the spa at 11am, we didn't get the impression that was an appointment. If it's an appointment, that should be clearly stated. Regardless, she tried to clean my sister up when we arrived the following day easily removing hair that should've been removed the night before during her initial service. Although right-hearted, this possibly leads to infections & further skin irritation as we were informed by a licensed wax technician at a medical spa. It would've been better to give a partial or full refund but I guess they really need the money. I've seen other negative reviews geared towards this particular technician (I'm not sure if there are prejudices involved or not) & unfortunately she will be the demise of this location. My sister was eager to make this spa a regular addition as this spa is a great location for her. Even after being offered a free service, she won't return and paid full price at another spa. I appreciate these are trying times because of covid. This should indicate that paying customers shouldn't be taken for granted in an industry that runs on repeat customers. The owner made a commotion about a $5 referral discount that was applied to my sister's service by the receptionist (very nice). I'm not sure how that works nor was it requested, but that was ill-advised on the owner's part as my sister tipped the technician more than that amount after her service, which means she still paid for a full service plus tip which she should've been fully refunded for. Money isn't an issue, workers should be tipped. The quality to value ratio is low. Unfortunately now they've lost two paying customers due to the way this whole situation was handled. Not even the promise of a free service can get my sister to return. I noticed the owner has a preference to go back and forth, however, I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. The level of service being provided by your tech is not industry standard.

Highly recommend this place specially with Siman. I got my second Brazilian here and honestly only chose to come back for Siman, she makes the experience so comfortable and not awkward at all. My first experience was at a different salon and was terrible the lady was to touchy and made me feel uncomfortable. I was scared my second time but Siman did an amazing job at making me feel heard and comfortable. I've been going back every month for the past 6+ months. 100% recommend making an appointment with Siman. She also does this breathing thing where she tells you when to breath in and out depending on when she's pulling the strip of wax and you truly don't even feel it at all. She makes it PAINLESS.

Brazilian waxing at Aroma Waxing Clinic Streetsville. Had a fabulous waxing experience at the Streetsville location. Ingrid was very meticulous with her method. Boy oh boy those pesky little tiny hairs, very experienced at what she does. I think she should get the crown as the queen of Brazilian waxing. I am used to Brazilian waxing but never had I experienced such a wonderful service. For those ladies who have never tried Brazilian waxing before, fear not because Ingrid will be there to guide you through. I am already booked for my next session!

Siman did such an amazing job for my Brazilian she was fast and efficient and it didn’t even hurt that bad. Definitely coming back again

My first time at the shop. At first glance, the place is super clean and refreshing.
My appointment with Ingrid started early since I got early. She didn’t have issues with that. She was friendly and welcoming.

I do have a few issues though, which I noticed was touched upon by another reviewer and that was Ingrid really not asking me much about how far down below I’d like to wax (even though she asked me once in the beginning) and then she just started waxing. In a way, it really did seem like she was rushing to get things done rather than take her time to do it. She didn’t show me what the after math was (which others have done at other facilities) and was quite quick to get everything done within a few minutes.

My other issue stems from the charging. I booked online for a free bikini sugaring and I wanted to add the crack to it. In a couple email exchanges, I was told to add the crack and the bikini sugaring will be added on top as a side note. When I went to pay, she told her receptionist that the crack was free
And to charge me for the bikini. I didn’t really think much at the time until I went home and reviewed my email exchange. So she charged me wrong.they also initially thought I wanted Bikini and arms. I think they either require further training to be more attentive with their customer’s requests and approvals or they’re just trying to be under handed.not sure what it is. But I don’t think I’ll be going back

It appears they overcharge you and then try to lure you back into their clinic for another session after saying they’ll credit your account”. I rather they credit my credit card, not the online aroma account. So I won’t be getting my money back.

Had my first ever Brazilian wax today with Ingrid and she was amazing! Made me feel completely comfortable. She was quick and very informative. I went in for a sugar wax but she recommended a normal wax for my situation and explained exactly why. I will definitely be making this a regular appointment with her. I also received 5$ off as apparently they offer a 5$ off coupon for your birthday month and without even knowing that, I just mentioned this was a birthday gift for myself and she told me about the program and gave me the offer.
I could go on and on, honestly, about how amazing the whole experience was and the quality and value for the price but I’ll save everyone the novel and just book your appointment now! I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed!

Beyond the fact that Aroma Waxing is the best place to get your body waxing services done, Siman is nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Each experience with her is phenomenal and I truly appreciate the comfort, cleanliness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend going to Aroma Waxing & booking with any of the staff. But SIMAN, that's my girl! She never lets me down

Everytime i get a wax anywhere i get traumatized and go back to shaving, but after waxing with Siman at Aroma in Streetsville I will honestly keep coming here every month. She’s made it an amazing experience for me and i am definitely seeing amazing results as i keep coming here. Would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful experience on my first visit. I was serviced by Ingrid, who was very professional, kind, friendly, and thorough. She did a a wonderful job, and accommodated all my needs. I also received a complimentary underarm wax as I was a first time customer.

Samantha is my wax lady works there she’s amazing, the best cleans very well and quickly she’s super nice, very comfortable and clean. Make sure you ask for Samantha best waxing experience.

Simin, was awesome with my ahem, delicate areas. Was a little apprehensive but Simin was so kind, supportive and ensured me that everything was going to be fine. I advised her of a recent incision near my bikini line. She did an amazing job, and was so gently near that area. Kudos, great job, will be coming back for another Brazilian Wax!

I visited this waxing clinic to get my first brazilian wax done and for other waxing services. I was undecided on whether I should write this review as I am usually a person that would just not return somewhere if I did not like the service. However, I read reviews to help me make my decisions so this may help someone else make an informed decision.

Fact:

I had an appointment for multiple body parts waxing session. I moved up my brazilian waxing because of female anatomical events (wink). The aesthetician began waxing me and throughout the process continued to ask me to hold myself taut as she waxed me. I noticed she would never touch me. She applied the wax and the strip but made me stretch my skin. She periodically informed me this was normal to assist with waxing. There was multiple waxing strips used but she did not use multiple waxing sticks (feel free to deduce from that). She shaked powder on me after she was done & walked out of the room. I went to pay and she was outside on her phone. I received no soothing cream/aloe. She gave me no information for care/maintenance. She did not inform me of how to remove the wax or the do's or don'ts of after waxing care. As wax was still stuck to me I could not tell if I had remainder hair left over. I tipped her 18%.

I went home and took a shower. I was highly disappointed when I finally got some of the wax off and noticed long strands of hair left over (not solely ingrown hairs). I called the owner Ingrid after coming out of the shower to kindly express my dissatisfaction. My friend had a brazilian the week before at another spa and told me her experience and the information and care she received. Still unsatisfied and feeling worst that I paid and tipped for that, I called the owner back to ask for a partial refund and to cancel my other waxing session that was 5 days away. She told me to come back the next day and she would clean me up and we would talk then. She also told me that I was not to have a shower or tight clothes after my waxing and I was to be told this at my session. I informed her that I received no after care information. The next day she re-waxed missed spots and waxed the bottom part of my stomach and bikini line. She apologized for the service and care or lack thereof. She explained that shaving can affect the waxing results of first timers. She stated that she would give me a free brazilian waxing and for my other appointments she would personally take care of my waxing. She said she did not want me or any of her clients to feel like an aesthetician did not want to touch them because of 'discrimination'***. I told her that I would call back if I decide to reschedule those cancelled waxing session. My sister also cancelled her appointment.

*** The word discrimination the gist of what she said. In the event she used another word I do not want to quote her on the specific word.

Opinion/Feelings/Regret:

1. I always tip and feel guilty if I don't, even if I dislike the service. That is my fault and flaw.
2. I was so distracted by the pain and nerves that I should have stopped the session when I did not see multiple application sticks being used.
3. After the session and thinking about how she refused to touch me really bothered me. I am a black woman and yes I will throw race in there because my hygiene could definitely not be an issue as I shower at the very least twice per day and being raised on a hot island, we are raised to shower just for fun:)
4. I went to another waxing clinic a couple days later to get the other parts waxed and the service was phenomenal! I was educated in what to expect and the after care. I was offered drinks and snacks. It was very clean. The ambience was very relaxing and spa appropriate. I was still conditioned to stretching my own skin that the aesthetician had to tell me that it was her job and she was happy to do it! She was even shocked when I explained my experience as she could not understand how an aesthetician could do their job without touching their client.

All said, make an informed decision!

I went here for a brazilian sugaring and i had such a great experience, all the staff members were so kind and friendly. Ingrid did my service and she was amazing, it barely hurt and the whole thing was over within 15 minutes.the equipment and everything else was super covid friendly and clean. 10/10
