The service might've been a wee slower than at other places, but the waiter was relatively new, so totally understandable. Darren still made sure to answer our questions and gladly played along when our group was joking around.

Everyone was satisfied with their meal at our party of 6, and I must admit that the English-style nachos on freshly made chips was mouth watering with the added grilled chicken on top.

And I don't remember which of the 2 available it was, but the local veer on tap was satisfyingly refreshing! I think it was the Williams something.

Fish and Chips were crispy and delicious. Wife had turkey meatloaf which she enjoyed and portion was very generous. Friendly and attentive service.

This is a great restaurant. We stop and stay at this Best Western just to come here after a long drive from out East. Good is excellent

Came with another couple and our 4 friends had a great night. The live music performed by Bryan completely made our night. We will be back for sure.

We were camping Sunday overnight in Grafton and decided to go out for dinner somewhere close by. Most of the options were fast food or locations that had already closed early.

We saw that Arthur’s Pub was open and decided to give it a try. We ordered the Turkey Meatloaf and the Shepherd’s Pie. The service was warm and the food was wonderfully tasty. I highly recommend anyone in the Coburg area to give this restaurant a try as it is definitely a local gem.

Marie was a fantastic server, polite, funny, attentive, and great conversation. Atmosphere was pleasant and volume was perfect for conversation. Southern fried chicken was the best I've had.

We attended the play "A Night in Provence " dinner theater. Excellent meal & service. And the play was hilarious. We laughed for 2 hours.

Honestly? I would say, top three fave places to eat breakfast, lunch and or dinner in the area. Yes, there are times menu items are “not available, ” but what is received will be enjoyed! What the odd server may lack in absolute efficiency, will be made up in patience, friendliness, and a positive, will-work- that- out- for- you, attitude. LOVE Arthur’s!

Had the fish and chip Friday special, advertising on the big sign outside works! Fish was excellent, fries were great, beer was cold. And delicious!

Oddly enough, when people get the lifesaver mints, they put the plastic wrapper in their glasses. Weird, right? Well, turns out the dishwasher machine didn't get rid of the wrapper, but stuck it to the side of the glass. I didn't notice it at first because it was buried in delicious beer! However, the dishwasher guy missed it going into and out of the machine, the bartender, too, when he filled the glass. So this got missed alot. The server was wonderful and gave me a new beer and reported it to the manager. Fortunately, the dishwasher machine runs hot enough that no germs/bacteria would survive, so I think I'll live. Got the beer for free in the end. I'm happy.

Arthur's is Fantastic such a wonderful feature to have a real pub with reasonably priced food and tasty at that, and all within a hotel. Also would just like to note I ate there twice during my stay once for breakfast and once for lunch and the wait staff were EXCELLENT both times!

A lively gastropub with an extensive food menu featuring a wide selection of items, including British and Irish pub favourites. They have a great selection of beer, including my favorite Irish ale - Smithwick's.

Although it has a traditional pub style, which makes for a cozy place, it is spacious and airy. It also has a huge wrap-around bar.

It has great live music on Fridays and Saturdays, so reservations are recommended if you are arriving after 7: 00pm.

The service was great; the prices are reasonable.

The Five Napkins Burger did not live up to its name. I only used 1 napkin. It was delicious however. The homemade patties make the burgers really tasty.

Really good. Big plates, great food, reasonable prices for what you get. Impressive. You guys in Cobourg are lucky. Worth the drive from an hour away, if you ask me.

Prices are unreal here. A recent meeting with a friend for a couple beers & a chat left me shell shocked. Arthur's were advertising Mill Street Brewery pints, $2 off (no actual price listed, but I figured Mill Street would be a little higher, $7‐8 range, minus $2, so an ok price). So.the beer turned out to be $8 ($7.95) WITH THE DISCOUNT! We spoke to the server, she confirmed regular price is $10/pint! ($9.95). Fortunately I wasnt hungry. My friend had garlic bread, 4 slices - $9.95.
Plus tax & tip on these prices.
There's plenty of pubs around, Arthur's can go pound salt at these prices.

Was ok.the wraps were very good, the wings were way over cooked to the point of dry and brittle. The nachos, honestly I was hoping for something different, but they were exactly what the pic showed, soggy chips with melted cheese. The Poutine was ok with lots of cheese and gravy, but would I go again? !? Probably not.

Arthur’s Pub should be a regular stop for everyone in the Northumberland area. They consistently offer great service, cold beer, good food, and a surprisingly wide selection. The place is clean, friendly, and inviting. High chairs are available for young families and the kids meals are served quickly.

On Sunday June 3rd 3 of us stopped here for dinner. This restaurant is located in the Best Western Plus Hotel.
Advertised throughout the Hotel is Sunday “Chef Special” well there wasn’t a chef’s Special and apparently they only do it on some Sunday’s. - False advertising. We ordered an appetizer to share and our meals. The appetizer came 2 of us liked it 1 did not so we thought we’d try another one. We ordered the cauliflower bites. They were horrible. The bites themselves might have been okay but they poured some sour tasting hot sauce on them that made them inedible. Two of us ended up with cankers on our mouths just from tasting them. We ate the rest of our meals ribs which were alright and one of us had a chicken curry dish which was good flavour but rubbery chicken.
At the end of our meal we told our server that the cauliflower bites were terrible and we could not eat them therefore they should be taken off of our bill. She politely said we would have to talk to her Manager. We tried talking to Meghan the so called Manager who really couldn’t care less whether we liked our food or not, she blankly stared at us and stated it was not their policy to remove the item from the bill. Not even an offer to replace it with something else. Instead she stood there with her blank stare, and waited for us to pay.
Considering how long things have been shut down for you would think “customer service” might be of interest to this restaurant.
I know they will not be seeing myself or my 2 friends in there ever again which is too bad because we only just found it 2 weeks prior and it was an easy stop on our way home.
I don’t post reviews often but felt the tactless treatment we received at this restaurant deserved to be here for any future patrons to see.

Great experience, great food. Went here with my wife, two toddlers (2 & 3), and my parents and had a very enjoyable time. Food for the most part was excellent with large portion sizes and reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive servers made sure we weren't wanting for anything. Only criticism would be that the kids meal burger was quite dry and overcooked. Fries and pretzel bun were a hit, but the meat was a bit of a struggle for little mouths. Overall would definitely recommend.

Great service and food tasted amazing, portions are huge. Thursday was rib night and a full rack with all the fixens was only $22, I had southern fried chicken breasts (2) in the dinner, crispy outer covering and super moist inside, waitress was very efficient and super cool, will return for sure next time passing through, it's worth the stop of off the 401,700 meters south.go, enjoy.as pub grub its the best I've ever had.friends coming from Ireland in August, I will do the 1 hr drive drive for dinner.

Fish and chips ordered. Decent fish and chips. Nothing special although being from Canada's east coast, I have high expectations.

Beautiful true pub feel to this restaurant, nicely decorated for the holidays. Great food, great prices and great service.

Decent atmosphere. The service was great. However, I found the food (Arthur's Poutine and Beef and Mushroom Pie) a little bland.

The service was great, the atmosphere nice and the food was lovely! Chris was an attentive server. I recommend the Guinness pie, and the Caesar (nice and spicy)!

Unfortunately even though I have been double vaccinated I had issues pulling it up on my phone we were denied service not cool it's not cool

The food here is absolutely delicious! And the staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is really comfortable, all together, perfect place to eat! Definitely will be returning!

Fantastic! All the covid protocols in place and delicious food. A friend was visiting from out of town and wanted to treat me to lunch and it was perfect! So much so, we went back for dinner!

Great fish and chips and food. Very good waitress! Polite, quick and helpful. Terrible wait time. Wouldn’t take reservation and told us the time we wanted wasn’t busy so it wouldn’t be a problem. Once there the hostess said wait time was about 40 minutes when in fact wait time was 1hour and 15 minutes.

Everything we’ve tried has been delicious! Great wings, sandwiches, portions are large but not crazy.

A pleasant surprise to find on our way through Cobourg. Great decor with many nooks and rooms for larger goups. Large patio under a strong marquee. Great menu.

The service is always friendly, the food is good with many different options, and Guinness is always Guinness. Try the chilli poutine.

We had a wonderful experience, it started with the bartender noticing the faded colour in my Caesar, she was correct, it tasted watered down, and the shrimp fettuccine was loaded with shrimp and and was delicious.

If I could give a zero I would, was just refused service based on discrimination. I even have it recorded and the manager admitted to being based on discrimination and said they would call the cops. I am currently at another restaurant and didn’t have any issues with discrimination. Sadly I enjoyed the food here as I was here a couple weeks ago and had no issue. Do not go to this place they openly discriminate.

Likely the best Best Western I've ever been in. Arthur's Pub is exceptional, staff are caring and kind, washrooms are impeccably clean. I'm very happy I found this place. Check the beer menu.it has a very broad range of imports and domestics.

We had a wedding in the area and decided to stop for lunch. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast.
I went with the Five Napkins Burger and let me tell you, it really lives up to it’s name! Great good and I had a local beer from across the street called Williams Street Beer Co. It was a delicious Munich-styled Lager. I would definitely come back again!

We had a great meal here! Good prices for a hotel restaurant. The dish worthy of a notable mention was the seafood boxty. It was out of this world! Huge portion, great flavour, and certainly a memorable dish.

The food was amazing! The aesthetic was very rustic and warm. We sat in front of the fireplace. There was also live music. Had a great time!

From the moment we walked in staff seemed like they wanted to go home.shame because lots of potential! Food is decent pub food! Service needs work!

They have the best pub food and great selection of wines and beer. Their summer patio setup is ideal. My favourite meal is the lamb burger but I like everything I have tried there. Service is efficient and friendly. Couldn't ask for better.

So I've been to this restaurant twice in the last little while and I am having a difficult time rating this place. First of all kudos to the owner for setting up this enormous big top tent which allows them to accommodate a multitude of guests. The food is average to slightly above average pub fare. If I had to promote any one thing their good at it would have to be their burgers. The pretzel bun and in-house hamburger pattie has lots of flavour and if you visit on Wednesday all burgers are $12 including a side of your choice.
So. Why did I rate it a three then you ask. Well, for starters it was very loud the second time I visited as there was a soccer game being televised; after all it is a pub so why not right. I went with my partner and parents and it was incredibly loud which hindered our nice time out. The second reason for a three star has to do with the service. I need to add at this point that I myself am over 50 so I'm not trying to bash the elderly however the service was rather slow and I recieved my starter with my actual meal. Minor set back I suppose but they didn't do anything to accommodate this mix up either. All in all I would recommend Arthur's Pud and it certainly wouldn't take much effort for them to achieve a 4 or 4.5 star rating.

Hands down the best poutine in town! Arthur’s puts chip trucks to shame. From the homemade fries and gravy to the cheese curd, it does not disappoint. Delivery is on time and staff is very professional.

Arthur's pub is a hit and miss. We always order the ribs and wings. Saturday special for 20 bucks. Afew Saturdays the ribs were over cooked and to much sauce the wings we had were breaded and tasted bland. And Cole slaw was very watery it must of been a bad night for the cook. I don't like take out because you get a bad order and you can't do nothing about it.

This is best pub in town. The food is great, the wait staff, bartenders and floor management always go above and beyond to make my experience as awesome as possible. Keep it up!
The music is great, the place is clean and they have a wide selections of beer on tap!
