Getting a fade from Winston was super quick and worth every penny. He knows how to get it done and knows what you want before doing anything. Definitely would recommend.

When I first started coming here service was top notch, seems to have downgraded since then.

Deepak is an AMAZING barber and Rachel is super kind and helpful, anytime Im walking by and I see either of them I will always come in to get a cut!

Really impressed with the services that they provided. Most importantly I’m Satisfied with the haircut that my daughter had few days back and the service that “Deepak” gave to her. He did my daughter’s haircut and removed her damage’s hair and suggested some ways and products for her proper and healthy hairs. Even i don’t have to wait there for hair cut because of their fast services.
I am really impressed that they started giving haircuts to girls also and I really recommend every girl who want nice hair cut to visit Ashby Grove and have haircut from Deepak.
I really appreciate him for giving smooth hair cut and making her hair beauty more.

Prince did a very good job. He uses the straight razor to get the best line up. He follows instructions well. Great job.

Ashby used to be a reliable barbershop years ago. However, every time I pass by the shop, nowadays, there are always brand new barbers. Prince was recently cutting my hair, he had little to no tools of his own, his station was very unhygienic and he couldn’t cut my hair evenly. The barbers who have been there for a while are great but always booked up. If the barbers spent less time talking to each other while cutting our hair they would have more time for more cuts.

Just got a cut from prince.recommend all my dawgs to guy, absolutely top legend, not even 5 stars.give that man 10.great cuts, great conversation.a man of his words.will be booming him again.

I took my son here the other day to get a fade from james. James was so patient and kind and did an amazing job! The only barber my son would want to go back to again is james.

I went here to get a taper fade and the haircut I received was done shabby and not done with a sense of professionalism. On top of that I was sitting and waiting 20 minutes after the time I booked the appointment for. After receiving the haircut…I later realized I hand razor bumps showing up which I have never had. Very poor experience

Horrible service. Came for a walk-in and was told to wait 10 minutes. Okay cool. I then had to wait another 20 minutes because the guy was still on break. Alright fine. I was then awkwardly shown where to put my coat and then was told to see "the guy in the back with the black shirt" except there was no guy in the back with a black shirt. When he finally came out I told him I simply wanted my hair to remain the same style (which is essentially not styled at all) and to just cut it much shorter than it is. He told me I should go some place else to get my hair cut because he didn't "know how to use scissors". Turns out that was the right thing to do. I went to The Barber Shop next to GoodLife where I was promptly served and treated with a much better haircut than this dumb place could ever do.

Worst customer service.both receptionist and barber were rude, wasted my $42 for hair cut. It was my first time and yes I read mixed reviews online before trying this barbershop. Its seems they don't care about customer satisfaction. Seems barber was in rush all the time and ge was hurting me. Never ever going back again, 0/5 star.

Went today to get a haircut at bramalea city centre, i told the barber SPECIFICALLY to trim my hair just a little bit off the sides and top to make it look a little fresh, suddenly the barber seemed to not have cared for the customers choice (myself) and decided to buzz off a lot of my hair and made fun of me saying “when will you get taller” harassing me about something i have a insecurity about which made me very upset and targeted even after the barber (jake) did not seem to care, he cut all the hair which no preceding to my wishes and choice of hair, he made me very upset of this hair and i will never come back there again and i don’t think other people should go unless if they want hair that they didn’t wish for… please talk to jake or in fact fire him for doing such a disgraceful job on my hair.goodbye

Terrible time management asked an hour in advance if my friend and I could go in at the same time. Still made me wait 35 mins and the other barber for my friend didn’t show up at all. Below sub par haircut and beard trim despite showing my own photo with my beard and hair.

I have been coming here for the past few years for all my haircuts. However during my last visit my barber Danish was extremely rude and made some very crude comments about me. I was appalled and shocked at what he said. That is no way to treat a paying and longtime customer.

The lady who cuts here does not at all know how to handle long hair. She can either go full short hair or not cut them at all. Do not recomend this place to anyone. If you do go please cancel the appointment then fetting your hair messed up from the lady there. Very poor skills.

They always kill it for me. You get what you pay for so I always tip well here and they always make sure they get me right, perfect fades, always the perfect length, no weird edging on the line up, perfect rear tapper and no random long hairs that were missed.

My go to spot now for awhile and won't be going anywhere else!

Booked a haircut, arrived 7 min late and spent 40 min hearing the barber complaining about me been late, and because of that he will spend less time on his break ‍️. If I was so late, he just could tell me and don’t do my haircut on that day, as he said “money wasn’t important to him”

Danish has an attitude out of no where. I think he thinks he runs the place now or something, wasn’t always like this but recently he thinks he randomly cancel last minute and assign a new barber without a notice. There’s lot of as good/better even barbershops and from the other reviews seems like I’m not the only one danish has been having issues with

Had an appointment with Randall at 11 AM. One of the groomsmen for a wedding later on today. Said he was running late. Waited for over an hour and he ended up not showing up. Appreciate everyone else there though.

Honestly i liked this place until yesterday.they booked me with some random jamaican man ive never seen before (he was super rude) cause my regular guy left this place no wonder why.he snapped at me jus because i couldnt keep my head still once or maybe twice.i refuse to even look at this shop now. I still threw a good tip as usual not because he deserved it but a handout cause he really made it seem like he could use it.

It used to be good. Now its garbage. Service is fine but no one knows how to cut hair. Too bad.

Asked for a fauxhawk with skin fade and a beard clean up, made very clear did NOT want to cut any on the length of my beard (worked very hard to maintain length and health of my beard). Noticed as soon as I got home that one side of my beard was not the same length and that my beard was shaped. Which is not what I asked for, as a customer who previously cuts his own hair. This experience did not sway me to return back to any barber shop. The salon was clean and very inviting and the barber was very friendly. However due to the fact I had to basically shave my whole beard down to stubble just to fix the issue, not impressed.

Marus is amazing Barber he should run the place experience guys please write proper review they good team barbers here. I believe life you always have to wait. 0/10 communication skills i asked for a mid skin fade did not give me one instead a trash haircut and compared to other barber shops its so expensive yet i got such a bad haircut, the barbers name was fadi.

The guy who gave me haircut, Demni his name I think, he's very careful and gentle yet fashionable and gave me a smooth cut.

Best hair days are rare, but not for me. I found the best hair dresser here! Samantha does a wonderful job every time. Never walked out with regret. She is very patient and provides the best customer service!

Samanta is awesome barber! I have been re-perming my hair with her for the third time in about the last two years and she always does amazing job. She also does beautiful haircuts to me and beard trim.

Get the kids haircut here fairly often. It always looks good and I can get a scissor cut or with the clippers.

I've been going here for years. Ask for Nabil if you want a fresh fade he's fast and friendly. He's been my barber for over 5 years now before he even started working here.

Samantha has been my barber for at least 10 years now. Since the pandemic started I decided to grow my hair. It became very unruly but once the shops opened up Samantha did a hair relaxing treatment to my hair and it’s never been so smooth, straight and manageable. If you have hair issues and have trouble with your hair then go see Samantha.

My brother waited 30 mins until after his scheduled appointment to get his haircut.not too big of a deal as i expect they can get busy during a saturday, but once my brother was in the chair, the barber seemed confused and did not follow the pictures that were shown to him.once he was done cutting my brothers hair, my brother was told that they are not a salon, but my brother did not want salon service.he wanted a haircut which is what a barbershop is supposed to provide right? My brother then requested something different, but still, his requests were not fulfilled.he first asked for a middle part which apparently couldn’t be done, so he proceeded to ask for a textured fade, which now looks to be done with a middle part? The middle is shorter than the sides but his hair is obviously too short to even part down the middle, so now it just looks wonky.his barber was considerate and apologetic and offered him a discount, but it doesn’t make up for the botched haircut.would not recommend booking with them unless you book with a certain barber and look into their work beforehand.

Samantha was incredible with my little dude! He and I had prepared to go to battle over his hair cut and she won him over with her great work! He says she is his only stylist. Great service and Lauren at the front desk is fabulous!

Waited outside for 2 hours to get inside the shop after appointment time. While new customers who doesn't have appointment given the priority. They are really not professional.

No EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER! Go somewhere you can trust. Don’t waste your money. Tired and always in a rush barbers. First and last time here.

Terrible experience today, as a reoccurring customer I am who normally walks in without appointments they turned down my business. Walked in at 12pm and the receptionist said they is no availability to do a 15 min simple cut until 1: 15pm, I agreed to my 1: 15 appointment and waited.

Returned back to the agreed appointment and now she said my appointment has been cancelled! Furiously I said FORGET IT! And walked away. As a business I would imagine customer retention is important, staff not professional enough to accommodate customer satisfaction.

I will not return unless compensated for my time loss considering a 20 drive one way and 1 hour loss.
