Asian King BBQ Buffet & Take Out & Catering

I order from here before and it was fine but this last time the food was not good. I ordered fried rice that was hard and completely plain. We ordered a beef noodle and it was disgusting. The beef was SOUR! My son who has eaten it from here before wouldn’t even touch it. When I called them they said the only way they would rectify the situation was if I physically brought the food back to them. I explained it was my kids bed time and that the food was already in the garbage. All I wanted was a future credit for those two item but based on how they handled it I will not return and will tell others to stay away.

Oh dear. This is not Korean BBQ. I'm not sure what to call it. The kimchi salad is not kimchi - it's like they tossed cabbage with spicy ketchup and called it a day. The meat was seasoned and marinated strangely that didn't resemble "Asian" cooking in any form. The bibimbap was hilarious - it was gojuchang sauce drizzled on white rice and a fried egg. The items that were good were: zucchini and pineapple.

For $40 pp, this place was not worth it. The service was ok so I gave it 3 stars. But we also got charged for tea which they didn't tell us about beforehand.

Just no.walk in the other direction. Go to Mandarin instead.

Overall not worth the price. My husband and I were the only ones in the entire restaurant, and it still took a long time for food to be brought out to us. When we were done cooking our food, we were not provided any plates or utensils, so we had to ask for them. The food was alright, but definitely not worth $90 for 2 people to eat. Went to change my baby's diaper and they don't have a change table. Most likely won't return.

The absolute worst service ever! $60 down the drain! Ordered sweet and sour chick and got no sweet and sour sauce, and food was cold! I called, and she basically served everyone and anyone while putting having me on the line and then proceeded to tell me the kitchen was busy and must have forgotten. She then asked me what she could do? It was really poor service, and the food wasn't great at all. Empire wok down the street is amazing, but unfortunately it was closed today. Never again!

Food was alright and our server was really nice and helpful! I went around lunch time and there was no one else there aside from my friend and I. You had to go up to the buffet bar to grab sauces while everything else was brought to your table to be cooked on the table top grill. Portion sizes are good and the price is fair.

Heads up for anyone with a peanut allergy, they fry peanut ingredients in the same fryer as everything else. Everything fried will be hazardous for an someone with allergy.

Terrible customer service.they saw we were black and did not allow us in.she just waved us away and kept on serving other people. I kept on signaling her but she just completely ignored us until we left.

Just moved to the area and this was pleasant surprise to find. Not your over the top fancy all you can eat BBQ but still does the trick - lots of variety to choose from on the menu and the staff were very sweet and friendly! We'll definitely be back again.

This is definitely a place I frequent. The staff is very nice and attentive, the place itself is so clean and beautiful. The food is so good. I highly recommend Asian King and you won't regret it.

Excellente nourriture! Facile à commander et à faire cuire. Les sushis étaient sublimes! Une place à découvrir si on aime les raclettes.
Nous avons tous aimé ce que nous avons commander et nous avons essayé des pièces de viande que nous n'avons jamais goûté.

My experience was amazing the waitress was very patient and very friendly, place was very clean including the washrooms and the food was very presentable I eat till my heart content I really enjoy this place. Review needs to be to be a 4.5 for this restaurant.

The food is not great it is lower mediocre. First korean bbq where you don't get some sort of a garlic butter or any kind of cooking medium for the meat. The heat was not good enough coz it's an electric cook surface so wasn't getting a good bbq char. And get this YOU HAVE TO WALK OVER TO THE BUFFET STATION FOR NAPKINS THEY WONT BEKNG YOU NAPKINS, SOY SAUCE AND GARLIC. VERY BAD SERVICE. DESSERTS IS REALLY BAD.

Very nice experience! The workers were extremely friendly and was always around to ask if we needed anything. We came here after church to eat lunch and it did not disappoint. All the meat was marinated nicely.

Looking forward to coming again!

Great place to go and eat with family. 15 of us all enjoyed BBQ. All meats marinated, many side dish were so tasty, bibimbap so so good. The price was acceptable. I highly recommended to all people.

Always come here for indoor bbq with friends. It's a decent all you can eat bbq. Love the freshness of raw meat and how they marinate some to taste mouth watering. They have soup, cooked food, sushi. Don't forget to leave some room for ice creams and desserts. Will definitely recommend Asian King.

Drop everything and come here to eat with my girl friend. This place is absolutely worth it and the meat quality is fantastic.

First time to go here and won't come back! If there is 0 stars, I'll give them zero! Really regret it. Came here 10mins before 5pm. There were only 2 tables at that time. But we waited to be seated for 10-15mins. Initial food came in after half an hour. And we're talking about 1 bento box with small amount of meat. And that's it! And we're talking about a family of 5 here! Buffet was not still setup at 6: 30pm! We kept on waiting for an hour and a half and no food still! They're too busy with take out orders I guess but that's not an excuse. Otherwise, they should have been just a takeout counter NOT a buffet restaurant!

We were so hungry so my husband just wanted to leave and go to another restaurant. So he decided to pay for a one person even if the food served wasn't even good for one perso that even my 9year old daughter wasn't filled. But NO! The lady said we have to pay the full price for everyone! To think that we are already being generous given their price is $39 each! Unbelievable! We have been to many buffet for so many times like August 8, Spoon and Fork, Mandarin, Skylon Tower and others but this restaurant is nowhere near to those. Terribly horrible service!

"The best asian food in the Clarkson plaza"

We have been going to Asian King for a long time and we always enjoy their many selections of lunch/dinner specials whenever we crave some comfort food. Always made on a quick and timely manner whenever we would order for pick-up. Staff are always fast and punctual whenever we would order.

All of the menu items are honored classic renditions of common south east asian food commonly eaten on a yearly basis. Nothing is really added/experimented with the flavours. So if you're just looking for classically made asian comfort food, look no further!

I've been here a couple times now and it's so good! The quality and taste and price is all so worth it, the server is really friendly as well! Will definitely be going back again

DELICIOUS! Super KBBQ that is all you can eat! Quality meat cuts and reallyyy good marinated as well. Attentive and polite staffs.

I’ve come here a few times with my family because it’s one of the few places that serves both All you can eat Korean bbq and sushi in the area. Today I came in for mine and my twins birthday and it was a great experience. We called ahead as a group of 6 and ordered lots of food. The meat was nice and well seasoned, sushi hit the spot, service was fantastic and everything came in good portions. We ordered a few rounds of food and although it took a few minutes to for the first round to come, the other rounds seemed to keep coming at the perfect time. It’s amazing the kind of value you get for the price, we got to eat several rounds of great food and was only charged around 200 for a party of 6. We got a discount because we it was our birthday and we paid cash. Overall, it’s nothing fancy but it’s a great AYCE BBQ experience for the money and the owners/host are really welcoming people who work hard and go out of their way to provide a good service even if they can be busy running around. Definitely deserves more business and definitely deserves your consideration if you’re ever looking for a casual All you can eat experience or someplace to get together with your friends to eat & chill.

The place was very dark and gloomy, no body was there and in a sketchy location. Buffet had food that looked old. Didn’t bother eating there as it was 30$ a person and the environment did not feel right.

Very good place for BBQ also very friendly waiters/workers although during covid you can't get up and go to the stations to grab whatever you want they stil have the all you can eat by giving you a paper and you select what ever you want from cheese wonton to Salomon fish and how much you want like 3 plates of fish etc and prices are very good we paid 200 for 5 people and drinks cost 1 dollar with free refills so overall great place

Yummy! Placed my first take out order at Asian King and we love it, the orange chicken is the best I have ever eaten. Will be a regular for sure.
