I apologize for not having pictures but food here is delicious. We come here regularly for business and meeting friends. Their Peking duck is excellent and garlic steamed snow peas is a must try. Their tofu mushroom soup is also very good. Definitely next time I’ll post some pictures. Parking around the restaurant is plenty.

The food and artistic set up of the restaurant is amazing. The restaurant only needs improvement on their customer service to seat customers down more properly, and take orders faster. It seems everyone is rushed, and have no time to take orders.

Bug and nice restaurant that serving Chinese food. It's cozy inside with high ceiling. Reservation recommended. They're serving a delicious food. Everytime I go here, I always satisfied with their food. Highly recommended.

Third world. This building ought be closed.washrooms are simply awful - a signing directing toilet paper away from being flushed. Deadly stairs to access.

It is time for this place to close.

The food was very very bad. There are also rather silly autonomous delivery "drones" that are a complete waste.

Hopefully the employees are paid according to Ontario law.

This restaurant was clean, tables spaced out and dishes, bowls and cups, plastic wrapped. The food was delicious. A number of dim sum came with 6 pieces. I have only had 4 per order at other restaurants. The dishes were delivered by 2 cute robots. The staff were attentive and courteous. Wonderful experience.

Asian Legend is a popular restaurant chain with multiple locations across GTA. My last visit was at their restaurant around Niagara-on-lake which I believe has permanently closed.

We ordered the following items:
1. Special pan fried dumplings 6 pcs $8.99.2. Green onion pancake rolled with beef flank. $8.99
3. Hot and Sour Soup $7.99
4. Taiwanese vermicelli with salted egg, pork, and shrimps. $14.99

The pan fried dumplings are usually big and juicy however the ones served here were lacking flavour and the meat filling was tiny. The dumpling skin did have a nice crispy char so you know they were pan fried. The orders were delivered by a robot operating on GPS. I guess most restaurants will be employing this technology to reduce the need to hire busboy.

The green onion pancake was wrapped with beef flank with hoisin sauce. These wrapped in tin foil and sliced in 4 bite sized portions. This was one of our favourite dishes here and it did not disappoint. The price is now pretty steep but I understand they need offset higher operating and food costs.

The hot and sour was very spicy and watery. They need to add more corn starch. Lots of shredded pork, mushrooms, shrimps, and assorted veggies.

Taiwanese vermicelli lacked colour and toppings. There was barely any shrimps and pork. I was disappointed and will not be ordering this again.

Overall the experience was just ok. I would probably give them another chance maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen. There seems to be alot of cost cutting which did impact customer satisfaction. I hope the next time they address these issues.

Went here today, to this Asian legend location. Not sure why they didn't turn on the lights, was dark and dingy makes it feel like it's not clean compared to other locations. I've only ever been here for lunch, maybe they turn on lights in evening, dunno. Service was just ok. Food was just ok but probably my last favorite location. Got take out today

Dan Dan noodle changed. Other dishes also changed. Maybe it’s inflation but c’mon you can’t even put peanuts on DanDan? It looked nothing like the menu anymore!

My favorite Chinese restaurant to dine at. The restaurant is very clean including the restrooms, servers are super friendly and the food is delicious.

I have been a fan of Asian legend for many many years. I recently went and ordered the Peking duck and black sesame dessert. The duck was cold when it arrived which should have been a red flag. Everyone who has the duck got food poisoning. I am so disappointed with the quality of this place as it used to be much much better, especially for what you pay. We also ordered the black sesame dessert and it was not at all how I remembered it, will never order again. Two stars because the staff was friendly.

April 26,20. My 2 friends (adult & senior) and I had a wonderful restaurant experience at Asian Legend (Shepherd & Brimley) today. I have been a customer in the Dundas W location for many years but this was my 1st visit to the Scarborough location. The building is red in colour (easy to find). Upon entry, the restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. I love the soft Chinese instrumental music in the background. I was impressed to see the bowls and tea cups wrapped up in transparent paper when we sat down at our table. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. It was my thanksgiving treat for my friends so I did some research this afternoon to select the Chinese restaurants with 4 stars which sell live Vancouver crab in the Scarborough area.

Overall, the quality of foods, customer services, and hygiene at this Asian Legend location (Shepherd & Brimely) were first-rate. I was surprised to find out the difference in seasonal quotes for a live Vancouver crab in 2 Asian Legend locations. There was a difference of CAD$13. Interesting. I chose Scarborough location which has a better price @ about CAD$40 vs CAD$53 quoted by another location. I felt that the price for our meal is value-added and well worth our amazing experience today. The Peking Duck ($48) was fresh, nicely presented, and very tasty, as expected. 3 of us consumed all the duck soup ($10.95) in one seating. Need I say more. Please check the exact prices listed in the menu for accuracy. In addition, there were plenty of parking spaces onsite, and the women's washroom was spotless. Overall grade: A+. Highly recommended.

Not only is Asian Legend one of the best Chinese restaurants in the City of Toronto, but based on my experience, this location (at 4452 Sheppard Ave. E.) is by far my favourite. In this respect, the food is always excellent; the service is always professional and courteous; and the premises are always clean and well kept. Given this, it is no wonder that this location is always very busy. Joyce, the manager should be applauded for how well this location operates; keep up the good work!

It was okay overall, but the Hot and Sour soup was way too spicy. I never had such a spicy hot and sour soup.

Food was very good, service was well above average for average-priced Chinese restaurants. Maybe less important now, but the table and chairs cleaning I observed was rigorous. Washrooms modern and clean, too. Were downstairs. Maybe there's one on main for those needing.

Nice Chinese restaurant with a la cart service. Quiet atmosphere with upscale look. But food is delicious and well priced. Enjoyed stir fry beef very much

Scarborough East no exception, for sure is an ideal location.
Even though, many had moved to North part of the City.
Asian cuisine, has been the world's finest menu can offer.
Then comes Asian Legend.
The endless popular items on the menu, you might have to go back again and again!
With the new concept, open kitchen and freshly make Dumplings.the place was always packed! Because it.
They desired to open more and more.
With the situation we had, and is over from the time being.
Now, we can go out to enjoy, as before.

Great place to dine in. Food is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sauteed Beef with Satay Sauce on Sizzling is great.

All dishes are very hot and tasty, which is very important for Chinese styles food. Waitresses are very polite and attentive to details.

This is the worst Asian Legend I've been to. Had to park behind the building and walk around to the front of the building and climb stairs to enter.not great when our passengers are almost 100 yrs old. All handicap spots were taken and nowhere to stop without blocking traffic. The food is salty and oily, full of MSG. Services is slow. We gave up waiting for a couple of dishes we ordered. The elderlies had to walk around the restaurant to the entrance/exit, and down many flights of stairs to get to the washrooms. There's a washroom on the main level but closed for customers, as it's being used as a maintenance closet. Definitely won't be returning.

Great eat in experience during the pandemic. Everything was very clean and fresh dishes were wrapped in plastic at the table. Generous spacing between tables. Fast and efficient service. Accomodated our allergies. Food was good quality and fresh. Service was fast. A+ overall.

This restaurant offered a very good service, great tasty fresh food, and excellent COVID safety protocols, including single use chopsticks and plates pre-wrapped in plastic wrap for better protection. Peking duck was one of the best.

To avoid disappointment, you should make reservations. We saw some people get turned away for dinner on a Sunday night because they didn't have reservations.
It has been a long time since we've had good dumplings because of the pandemic. We ended up over ordering but if we had to do it all over again we probably would've over order just the same. All the dishes were very good! Our favourites were the steamed soup filled dumplings and the Fish Fillet with Spiced Salt & Pepper.
I only wished they had given us more sliced ginger with the vinegar for the various dumplings we ordered.

We always celebrate bdays there every year. We usually bring our cake and they give you knife and saucer. They are very nice and courteous. Richard, Lauren and Cierra likes going there.

All food are hot and freshly cooked. Very good customer service. The bowls, cup, spoons and plates are nicely wrapped and cleaned (very impressed so I did take a picture and I forget to take pictures of the food LOL) Menu is available on the website, wide range of selection and reasonable prices with good size/
portion.

First time here since before the pandemic. Food is terrific, staff very helpful, and they are doing a fantastic job with safety measures. Thanks for a great first meal eating in a restaurant in 18 months!

I went there for lunch today. The setting was clean and safe. Service was fairly good. The beef roll cake was very good but fried rice and shanghai rice cake were ok.

My experience with dining in has been much better than when I order takeout. I ordered vegetables and the taste felt very off from when I dined in.

This place is worth a visit. They serve large portions for convenient rates. Regularly well organized and with good vibes. Will come visit again.

Good, Chinese food. Typical family style service. We were a group of 7 without a reservation and didn't have to wait long.

We received good service, staff were friendly and attentive. The food was okay, compared to other asian legend locations the food was not as good. Soup dumplings were good.

Very friendly location, willing to please. They even bag the left overs for you, a rare service not shared by other Asian Legend location.

Wifi would be a nice addition, like Congee Queen

The food wasn't good at all. The shrimp with rice crisp dish was 15 bucks but rarely has shrimp (small shrimps). There was no veggies in the dish but sweet n sour sauce. It does not taste good at all but expensive actually. One spicy tofu dish was just made with peppercorn oil. There was no chili. Geez. I don't think ill ever go back sorry.

I really like this place. They have fortunately toned down the garlic. Soup dumplings are awesome. For dessert try the deep fried egg white with red bean paste.

Great food, I loved the pan fried vegi dumplings. The green beans and noodles were very nice. Asian Legend has more locations.

Love my cucumber in garlic sauce and dumplings here. Prices are fabulous and the service is great. My wife is from Taiwan and some of the dishes always bring back her memories as to when she is back home.

Great for jig groups as they have a table for 12.

Doing go expecting to eat late. Apparently the kitchen closes over an hour before the restaurant closes.so make sure you show up at least 2 hours before closing

Great food, good ambience and wonderful staff. They really went out of their way to make our large group feel well accommodated. Authentic food, would highly recommend.

Went here for a reserved group dinner party. Got the back room. Food good. Service good. Place was packed. Not enough parking.

Of all the Asian Legend locations - this is my fav one! The soup dumplings here have thin skin and ample soup and of course, tastes good!

The food was better than expected. Service was on point. The staff even took a group photo at end of night for us. Will definitely go back.

Wide selection of food from their menu, a little bit pricey but they served good portion of fried rice if you have a big group or huge family, excellent quality of peking duck and wraps; for the service waitress should ask drinks or served water asap food arrives not only warm tea on the table; more friendly server; environment simple but cozy.

Tasty food, just a tad too oily, but that's the nature of the beast I guess! We had stir fry noodles, yang Zhou fried rice, juice dumplings which were awesome, stir fry Vegetables, and mix sea food soup. Service was efficient.

Was good but that night I went the quality dropped significantly. But presentation still great. Service was excellent on that quiet rainy night.

Great tasting authentic northern Chinese food on the spicier side, good variety and value, especially the Scarborough location at Brimley and Sheppard. Get there early for dinner as there can be long waits for a table, service is decent depending on who you get. Highly recommended.

The food did not stay hot for too long and the "beef and broccoli" dish was more like "broccoli and beef". There only 8 pieces of beef.

Wife and I decided to visit here to make up for that we both had to work Thanksgiving Day.

It was not really busy when we arrived. Only a small handful of staff was visible

We ordered: Taiwanese Vermicelli Noodle w/chicken, shrimp and egg (egg seemed to be missing from the dsh, Tofu and BBQ pork on sizzling skillet & House Special Seafood fried rice.

We both really enjoyed the Taiwanese noodles, along with the sizzling skillet of Tofu & BBQ pork. The House special fried rice tho we found to be more meh.

As for the value oriented couples or families eating out, this place may go way out of your budget. Since this resto blew our budget for the week. We usually allow ourselves 2 meals out a week, the rest is cook at home. We usually allocate about $50 for the week for those 2 meals out. In 1 shot Asian Legend killed our budget. Also the value to what you pay for is really not much. They serve standard Chinese resto portioning but charge almost 40% more in price.

Likely only to return here again.maybe.to try their Peking Duck or possibly on a special occasion. Would likely not make coming here a regular thing.

As for value rating per head via Yelp, this qualifies as $$. As for couples on a budget this I would rate as a $$$ resto.

Excellent service. Good Food. Good decor and vibes in the restaurant. Walked in as a group of three and were seated immediately at 6: 30 PM. Ordered and had our food within 20 minutes. I will definitely come back for more.
