Pretty disappointed, I understand nobody is perfect in this world, also each new building has some problem which should be fixed during warranty. But after buy it, the most recent answer from Aspen Care is generic this in not warranty case or this is not covered by warranty this time. 3 days ago I found a problem with wet drywall in one of our bath rooms and reason that silicon was not put properly. May be it covered only but 1 year warranty which ended 1 week ago, but this problem definitely exists not last week, I just found it 3 days ago, so answer was like 80% before, this is not covered. I will definitely can pay to contractors to fix it, but for me it looks ridiculous how company "cares" about customers. Everybody understand this problem is consequence of poor construction and did not happen 3 days ago.
Update after 3 years of owning property built by Aspen Ridge - this is the only new property I saw in my life which can have 4 roof leaks for 3 years, what even worse it takes more than half year from company to fix it, pretty often they schedule appointment and nobody comes. So it is your choice of you need all this.

I have had a great experience with Aspen Ridge Homes.
From dealing with the sales team, to design studio and customer service. Victoria in the service team has been great, she is very professional, knowledgeable and prompt with her responses.
We are very happy with the way everything has come together in our home!

I bought a house from aspenridge in queensville. To be honest our experience was great. Ruth the sales lady is friendly and daniella was fair in the process. What I hate about the builder is the rental water tank from cricket comfort. The question is why from a scam company. Zero star for the rental part.

I bought my house from Aspen, and I’m really sorry.
Poor customer service, they don’t care about you at all, the lady I’ve been dealing with, Victoria, is a careless person, I’ve been dealing for my roof licking for 2 years, and they can’t find the problem. I’m wondering what should I do if my warranty has expired.

My master bathroom cabinets were damaged due to water licking, and she doesn’t even send someone to see what is the problem.
Please do not do business with this people.

I am writing to express our appreciation of the dedication, care and thoughtfulness shown by Ms. Ashley Kuo in the handling of the customer service duties. Not only is she helpful and prompt to follow-up issues, she also pays attention to details and willing to go the extra mile to make matters easier and smoother.
Thank you Aspen Care Team!

False advertising, "bait and switch" on condo features.

The West was advertised as having engineered hardwood as standard feature. When we pointed out contract listed laminate flooring, developer was unwilling to alter contract when discrepancy was pointed out - was told to take it or leave it. At design appointment, the only option was laminate with opportunity to 'upgrade' to vinyl for ~$8/SF. So engineered hardwood advertised as 'standard', when in fact no way to get it even when willing to pay extra!

For structural/electrical upgrades, they never communicated by email (as was the case for everything else) and only called my husband's cell. Since for some reason they had wrong number on file with one digit off, he does not have voicemail anyways, and they never tried calling me or emailing either of us, we missed an opportunity to add electrical outlets and light boxes.

Still waiting to see if rest will be delivered as promised upon completion.

My entire home buying experience with aspen ridge was painful from the start. The sales staff are quite arrogant. 13 days before my final close they thought it was enough time to tell me of futher delays. They blame everything on covid. I have been living in my home for over a year now (2nd summer) without grass in the front or back. And they simply don't care or can't give you a straight answer. I also commented on their Insta page, and they delete any negative/honest feedback. They get a 1 start bc the exterior design is beautiful but that's it.

We originally thought Aspen Ridge is a good builder but been in new detach house for more than 11 months with more than 50% items still pending to get fixed. Number of emails written, follow-ups but Aspen Ridge Homes customer service is continuous denial on completion of tasks and few of which were pending since PDI. Worst experience in getting warranty repair tasks done. NEVER Recommend Aspen Ridge as good builder but Rate their servies are WORST.

The customer service is like a crash course in "BEING RUDE & UNHELPFUL 101". My wife has been dealing with this company and I agree that if it was possible to give them minus 100 stars we totally would! Never have I ever met a more lazy and rude customer service. Even when your home is under warranty they argue with you and try to diagnose things over the phone or over email! No matter who you contact at this company they are equally as horrid! It must trickle from the top down. SPARE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND LOOK ELSEWHERE! They claim they make luxury homes, but the only thing luxury is the price! Honestly you will regret it otherwise! A bunch of condescending muppets running the show at this company. Whoever is leaving them positive reviews must be living on a different planet:/
24 March 2021 22:42
We faced some roof leakage. Victoria was supportive and the company did the fix and corrected the damage and were never in denial mode. I think one can have a peace of mind if you work with such builder who is on your side and carry weight to its reputation and quality

My family bought a home from Aspensridge. They have been really helpful from start to finish to the after service. Ruth was our first point of contact. She made it very painless to purchase the home. Paperwork was prepared before we arrived to sign it.

The design studio is TOPNOTCH. What our last builder considered a upgrade was STANDARD with Aspensridge. The upgrades do add up in the end with the “perfect” house, our design studio ladies were both fantastic Sarah and Hannah. They re opened our file for us as we wanted to make some changes and add more to the home. We did end up spending a bit of money on upgrades. They were WELL worth it.
We did get a small delay due to COVID19. Which isn’t their fault. Which pushed us back 2 months. We ended up closing sooner then the proposed date.

The after service is the BIGGEST and most KEY part which is setting Aspensridge up to be one of the best builders we have worked with. We understand they hire the companies that come in and do the work. They can’t control who those companies hire. Yes there were mistakes. BUT how Morgan and his team handled them is TOP NOTCH. We had a BIG issue with something in our home. Morgan came looked at it. Called the company. Asked their boss/manager to come in and look at it. 2 days later the problem was fixed. The people who came in cleaned up after them selfs. “My last builders never did this” Then made sure we were happy with the work performed.

My family and myself can’t thank them enough for turning what was going to be a terrible year into a decent year.

I would also like people reading this to know. Aspenridge builds THOUSANDS of homes a year. Don’t let the negative reviews push you away. It is very easy to write a negative review, which most people do. It’s the positive reviews which are harder to come by.

Thank you Aspenridge

Just want to warn everyone about how Aspen Ridge Homes likes to run fake contests/giveaways to try to gain more foot traffic and likes on social media. In May/2020 they ran a mother's day/ health care worker contest and I was nominated by a coworker because I am a nurse. They informed me that I was a winner but never received the prize. When I followed up, they said there was a processing issue. When I followed up again - they never responded. I wasnt the only one who was lied to.

Garbage homes, poorly constructed with low grade materials. Only looks good from far away. When looking close at it, a lot of work such as crucial frame engineering, plumbing, electrical and overall finishing is done as if the contractors held the tools with their butt cheeks instead of hands.

From dealing with Heather at the Stayner sales center, to Daniella and Hannah at the décor studio, I have zero complaints. The service from the start was top notch. I have always got a phone call or e-mail back in regards to questions or concerns I have inquired about.
We have recently taken possession of our new house, and we love it.
So far (lol).
The site Supervisor is out and socializing with new home owners (super nice guy). He's not hiding in the office like you'd think based on some of these reviews.
We have met a few of our neighbors, and we all seem to have to same overall good review.
This is a personal, honest review.
I couldn't imagine having to deal with some of the people who have left comments.

What an incredible builder. From the moment I purchased my home, from the meetings with various people about choosing what I wanted, walk through inspection and finally stepping into my home, I was impressed with how much passion and commitment each member has to making any purchase an easy and enjoyable one. The standard features offered from Aspen feel like premium features other builders charge. In the day of my possession, noticed that the electrical plug that I had asked for months before on my island, and I said no to it cause of the cost, was installed for me. I even had my city recycling and garbage bins for me at my home. This level of service was just the icing on the cake. Next property will be from them as well.

The sales people are amazing, the decor people butter you up BUT BE WARNED after closing they don't know you, they never heard of you and they respond with generic copy and paste emails.

We have always bought new builds and this was our first time with Aspen Ridge. I rank them at the bottom of the list in terms of customer service. Their workmanship is so so and below average and their customer service knows it. They all follow company line of minimum service standards and quality.

Update: hilarious story a fence they installed in the development was knocked down somehow. When our neighbour called to tell them the board had fallen, the response wasn't where, who what when. Their response was. Its an act of God. Fast forward 6 months later we see people doing repairs. We go ask whats going on and the contractor tells us it was their own heavy equipment that had knocked the fence and they were waiting for the side park to be completed before any claims for repairs.but again Aspen Ridge showed their colours by automatically denying responsibility without even evaluating the situation. They're a joke!

I bought a new home from Aspenridge. I am happy with the customer service from Daniella, design Studio experience with Hannah and Sales representative Samantha. House looked good on delivery. Also PDO, aspenridge supervisor Diego, was inspecting for issues and marking even smallest ones. I was little concerned with negative reviews initially but there can be silent majority who would have enjoyed the journey with them. Thought, I would write a review for those anxious folks.

Continuing my updates with Aspenridge. 30 days warranty - I payed licensed home inspection as I couldn’t find anything significant issues that I thought I should mention. His comment was relatable. All are high end works. He also said Aspenridge are good builders. Responses with customer care is very prompt and on time. Wish you all the new buyers happy journey.

Bought my first house around 6 years ago, moved in for 3 years, there was a water leak from the shower at the master en-suite, although the warranty is not covered after 2 years of occupied, the service department got me a service tab and got the waste water pipe fixed as well as the ceiling repairs. Made of mistake is happened in construction, it’s the way how the seller deal with it. Really appreciate for the service.

Bought my first home with Aspenridge at simcoe landing and gotta say that Barbara went above and beyond to make the process the most enjoyable and pleasant possible. I know I
Made the right choice and can’t wait to see the final product. Thank you Barbara for everything.

We bought a million dollar home Mayfield village. These homes are pretty on the outside but ugly layout. Walking into the homes you are greeted with temporary stairs. The stairs are not attached to the house. Not looking forward to the closing for more surprises

Not Happy with my 2 year old home at all. My house is just 2 years old and I've had so many issue's with quality.

1. Leaking shut off valve under kitchen sink
2. HRV not hooked up correctly
3. Shingles coming off the roof (*** This did not even happen to my previuos 15 year old home that was at the end of a wind tunnel of houses. I question really how long this builder roof will last. ***)
4. Cracked window due to stress

The first 3 items were taken care of out of courtesy, but the last one they left for me to deal with on my own.

A new home should not have this many issues. I really used to look up to the brand, but after this experience, I will need to think twice about what sort of quality they use to put into their homes.

" State of the art " Presentation center, very professional and accommodating. " Highly recommend working with this company"

So we just moved into our new home and we are not happy at all with the service! After giving them our specs for all of our appliances they managed to mess up where the vent and power for the hood fan should go. After giving them clear and obvious diagrams a year in advance they refuse to accept their mistake. And it is extremely frustrating when no one picks up the phone or even reply to emails at a timely manner. Along with dealing with the stress of moving we have to deal with terrible customer service. Do not buy from this builder, it will save you a lot of needless stress
07 December 2019 3:24
I would like to give "0" star for this builder.they have the worst customer service. Our house side stuccos was damaged by the iron frame that they build to put my neighbour house's bricks.they build my neighbour house after we moved in.our side wall stucco was damaged by the iron frame they made between the houses.
The construction ppl said builder will fix it after they finished my neighbour's bricks coating, we were waiting and waiting, but it never happened!
I contacted the builder for the stucco damage later, they said it's after the warranty period and will not fix it for us.they said I should put that damage on the 30 days report form, but by the 30 days we moved in, they were still doing the construction of my neighbour house.it's really ridiculous!

Starting to realize these reviews aren't wrong! I know when it comes to our next home purchase it will NOT be with Aspen Ridge homes. Huge disappointment, and the customer service is the worst we've ever experienced!

Illegal evictions, poor business practices and procedures in my opinion. Would not let a family member have anything to do with this business.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY

If you want to avoid chronic headaches, haunting buyer’s remorse, restless nights, and constant angst, then DO NOT BUY YOUR HOME FROM ASPEN RIDGE!

Let me paint you a picture before you take one step in their direction:

If you have a few million dollars laying around and don’t care to see any return in your investment nor any progress on your home for a MINIMUM of 3 years, then by all means, buy from Aspen Ridge!

If you love dealing with unforgivably condescending, unprofessional, and incompetent “customer service reps”, design “professionals”, and “architects”, then by all means, buy from Aspen Ridge!

If you enjoy wasting HOURS of your precious time endlessly corresponding via email and visiting their offices because of errors they’ve made and cannot own up to or apologize for, then by all means, buy from Aspen Ridge!

If you have the incredible misfortune of having to deal with their customer DISservice rep Daniella Campoli, then may God grant you the strength not to develop clinical anxiety, hypertension, and generalized anger towards all of mankind because of her unbelievably arrogant and entitled mannerism. The only time she musters up what resembles a nice demeanor is when she’s about to notify you of a MAJOR F*** UP on their part! Any other time you ask her questions she will delay her responses by days, avoid your phone calls like the plague, and respond snidely and sarcastically. Who in hell hires these ppl? NO sense of what customer service is! You can expect 100% better service shopping at Wal-Mart. Instead of being helpful she will go out of her way to be the rudest and most unhelpful she can, because she enjoys playing God's right hand.

The same is true for their design “professionals”. I mean, who doesn’t love that kind of treatment after having spent a big fortune? ! *SHAKES HEAD*

And when you have the brilliant idea of reaching out to their main office to speak to their head of customer service Tony Arone, he is quick to bounce all your correspondence back to Daniella. Because, as I have now realized, he is a descendant of Royalty and God forbid you bother his Highness. So, if you enjoy talking to a wall then by all means, buy from Aspen Ridge!

Sidenote: They use ‘Paris Kitchens’ who employs untrained staff to rush you through your kitchen design. And all of the cabinetry materials and door handles that even look remotely good are at a steep upgrade price. So if they send you to ‘Paris Kitchens’, make sure you ask for an actual designer with years of experience – this way you get it right the first time! Otherwise count on them calling you back in for rushed last minute changes.

So when you walk through an Aspen Ridge model home, just know that EVERY SINGLE THING your eyes fall upon IS AN UPGRADE - even the paint on the walls! I kid you not. Even things like grout for the tiles (which you can buy from Home Depot for $11/bag) they’ll charge you $190 for, per wall, per flooring section! *WHAT THE!? * They specifically pick off-colours for their standard tile grout that doesn’t match ANY tiles in the show room to force you to purchase the upgraded nicer matching grout colours at a steep fee.

So before you get too excited about purchasing your dream home from this company, think looooong and hard my friend.

You are better off buying a run-down house and taking that money you're about to give these crooks and put into renovations building yourself a dream home where you have 100% say - and this way, you don’t waste years of your life waiting for them to start building. They put arbitrary restrictions on choices for upgrades and design, and their reasoning is…. Just because!

It’s astounding that there is no oversight for this company and that they’re allowed to scam people in this manner.

Any positive reviews for this company are guaranteed written by their own staff. I feel for every single person who has left a review with a similar experience to mine. I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

What did we get ourselves in to! *SIGH*

Purchased my home at Upper West Side development (Phase 1) in Vaughan and still experiencing major structural issues with the roof. Spoke with neighbours and most in Phase 1 + 2 have leaky roofs and poorly installed gutters resulting in interior wall damage and water penetration within dry wall. Called customer service and they would come in to patch a few walls (that's visible to the eye) but they never fix the root problem which is the roof! Anything under $1000 (cosmetic fix) they will be prompt in doing so, once there's major problems, there's never a call back from management to get resolution.

Can't believe they are selling the same product over $2.5 million at Obervatory Hills. For this price, you should never have to deal with problems like this, especially on a brand new home. They will take your money but don't expect them to deliver a quality home.

Excellent quality of workmanship.
From Sales associates to Decor to closing. No problem. I am very happy with my house in Kleinburg Hills

Very poor structure installation, specially roof damage within 1.5 year with no warranty. I do not suggest any one to buy from them.
