Aspiration and Discoveries

My 2 daughters (11 and 8) attended Aspiration and Discoveries Academy for summer camp this year and they had SUCH A GREAT TIME! The girls had a lot of fun learning about the different themes each week and they came home every day eager and excited to "repeat" the entire day to me. The staff and teachers were all very very courteous and friendly. Even my little one who is known to be shy grew very fond of the teachers and became very close with the teachers and assistants in her class. My older daughter got the opportunity to learn how to assist in the classroom and how to responsibly and productively give help to others who needed it.

All of the teachers and assistants for my girls were very observant and sensitive to any behavioral concerns that they noticed during their time at camp and they were very polite and approached me individually with their concerns and provided me with pointers and ideas on how to address and help with those concerns. The staff were also very patient in listening to my concerns and offered many ideas as to how I can help my kids going forward.

My overall experience with the school has been nothing but fabulous. The cleanliness of the school, the punctuality, the approaches and the general curriculum went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be bringing my children back to the academy at every opportunity.

A very passionate team, they always go above and beyond to help us. Our girl loves going there every day. We love the hands-on parent coaching includes in our kid's therapy with our senior therapist, it helps us a lot at home. We have seen huge gains in the past 6 months

My daughter is attending their academy program part time, my family and her home school teacher are very impressed with her progress. She's now able to focus and follow the directions when instructions are given. We are very surprised that her reading level has gone up speedy fast. That's a big bonus.

A place that truly cares about their clients; clients development of skills and constantly maintain a very professional environment; thank you!

1. The owner, the lead therapists and the senior therapists all stick together in some type of mean girls group. Also when you start with this company you will owe them a giant sum of money if you leave before a year. They pay monthly and not bi-weekly.
2. They do not help anyone and expect you to know all of the answers. All they teach you in training is pairing.the graphing info is not detailed, the injury report is not detailed basically you either have to learn on your own or ask coworkers. That being said majority of your coworker have no idea what they are doing so both of you guys are lost together.
3. Do not bother asking them question because they will either tell you they are too busy or start huffing and puffing.
4. I understand you want to help the kids but if the child is having a rough day which is understandable but the work environment is also toxic. Why put yourself in that environment.
5. Also understand that you are expected to do an evaluations before getting the amount promised to you.

Rachel and her team is amazing, it's a long drive for us but so worth it. We never expect our precious daughter can go from one to one aba now able to go to their academy program in less than a year, with the help from Aspiration, one day she will be able to go to school.

Love the team, my son made huge gains and love going there everyday. Very creative team always go above and beyond especially since covid to keep the fun, my son loves going everyday, I am so thankful they are open for in-person.

Great center, my daughter' s went to A&D (markham branch) when she was little, her social skill, speech n writing skill improve a lot, also the therapist is very nice n professional, they know how to communicate with my daughter, my daughter loves to go there, i totally recommend this centre

Rachel is a wonderful girl, who clearly goes above and beyond for her clients and center. Her creative side drives her business and the services offered are a cut above! Highly suggest Rachel and her team!

Our daughter started going to Aspiration since she was 3 for 2 years now, she used to be nonverbal, we can't communicate with her, she is very frustrated all the time. The therapists are very patience, we love their parent coaching that we can learn together. The team is full of passion, they have all kind of extra activities, performance, I can't believe my daughter can walk up to the stage and perform and talk and no behaviour at all! Thanks to the great therapists she has.

Our son is with Aspiration for over 10 years since he was young. They helped us from intense home based program to transition to school, centre, community outings, now become an adult. They always adjust innovative programs ideas, assessments for my son when anything pop up. Their team always help us above and beyond especially when our son was in crisis, even travelling across all regions meeting all professionals to help us. We are so thankful to have known this team and the psychologist.

My son joined aspiration a year ago. He loves this school. Their teachers or therapists are so nice and always very patients! Beside therapy, they will always organize some activities for them, especially seasonal festivals, leisure programs. And most important thing is they tailor-made different therapy program for my son, not like the other center we had been before! I can see my son had a significant progress after he start ABA at Aspiration! I’m appreciated!

Love this place. Our daughter changed so much since starting therapy and able to go to school now. Their parent coaching sessions helped us a lot to work on similar things at home and how to handle the behaviours.

Its funny how people who gives negative feedback actually did a lot reviews at different schools. Do they really attend all these schools? Anyway to those people who gives fake reviews, people can actually click into ur name and see what/where u leave ur comments. Be smart next time and use a new account

This place is terrible. This is why my son's anger issue gets worst because there's lots of kids who bully and every time I talk to one of the staff members that there's a kid who's picking on him they don't care. If your kid is late or miss a class they just blame them and act like they think it's their fault for being late even though something happened that caused you late like a traffic on the way.

I use to take my son who has autism to this program. I payed money to take him but he would complain that students were bullying him. I thought this place is for any children with autism but when I found out that this is a kindergarten place I realized that he didn’t like going here. If you have a child who has autism, ADHD or any disabilities you should look for something else because there are only a limited support.
