It is very rare to find people like Dr. Ana and Wendy. They are very helpful, cooperative and trustworthy. I came here with toothache but diagnosed with sinusitis. I’ve had a good experience with Astra Dental since September 2022. Wendy the receptionist is pleasant and helpful. Dr Ana knows her onion, or should I say ‘she knows her teeth’?

Dr Ana is amazing with myself and my kids, for cleaning and for general dental issues. Nancy the hiegenist and Wendy the secretary are hugely oriented to excellence and issue problems. I'm going to Dr Santana for about 7 years and Im not changing her.

Wow, wow, wow! That's what I said when Dr. Ana was finished when she put in my front crown. I fell on my face in the beginning of 2022, and lost my front tooth. What to do? My former Dentist retired, so I had no Dentist! Than around the corner from us was Astra Dental. I called, and a friendly voice answered the phone, It was Wendy! She made an appointment the same day with Dr. Ana. When my husband and I entered inside, Wendy welcomed us with her gorgeous smile, made me feel at ease. (Never liked going to Dentists.)

I have been coming to Astra Dental since 2019 and my experience at the office with Dr. Guerrero has always been top quality. I can't recommend her dental office enough. She makes me feel really confortable in my dental cleaning appointments and she also speaks Spanish which makes me feel at home and Wendy at the front desk is a wonderful receptionist who always makes sure me and my family stay on top of our dental appointments, very efficient place to go to overall.

I met the doctor because of a dental emergency. From my experience I highlight the professionalism and charisma of Dr. Santana. During the treatment the doctor was extremely detailed in her work, looking not only for the correct procedure but also for it to be aesthetically well done.

Later there was a complication, but she was attentive to the situation: she called and texted to know my progress and took care of prescribing new medications and even an immediate appointment to make sure everything was ok. I felt that she really cared about me getting better.

I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found doctor Santana and her kind staff.

Started with an exam and X-ray but the Dentist Dr. Santana was very kind with my wife who has a Dentist phobia.
My wife is Catalan so being able to communicate in Spanish was a huge bonus.
Would happily recommend this office.

About a year ago I had a filling for my tooth at Astra Dental. They did the filling at that time it seemed fine. After almost year the same tooth has been hurting me a lot but due to COVID that I temporary moved to Vancouver I had to see a dentist in BC. They provided me with the Root Canal treatment plan and said to me they should have do this treatment a year ago instead of filling, the filling won't help with the tooth.

I emailed Dr. Santana about the X-ray ask her if I should wait until August so I can come to see her then she can fix my tooth and she replied my email with a referral link and told me it's better to treat it now.

I called the office next morning asked if I can spoke to Dr. Santana just for few minutes, then she was on the phone with me she said it was surprised took that long that my tooth need a Root Canal. She said she noticed that tooth has a very high chance that needed a Root Canal treatment a year ago. I was surprised and asked her why didn't she say anything about it at that time. And why didn't she do something about it when she found out a year ago. She predicted my tooth would probably need a root canal but she did the filling for me instead of the root canal treatment. This is should not be happened. At the end she just told me to see the dentist she referred in Vancouver.

After I hang up the phone, Wendy told me Dr. Santana said I need to pay $76 for the consultant fee on the phone. I was like, wth? She only spoke with me on the phone for 3 minutes. I said I can't believe I've been with Dr. Ana for 3 years and she are charing me for dawn 3 minutes phone call. And she did not mention about the teledentistry fees when she first replied my email. That's why I do not accept the fees. The reason she removed the invoice because I refused that fee that she never mentioned in the beginning when she replied to my email, I have no idea she would suddenly want to charge me $76, this is not under my acknowledge consent charge.

Eventually, Dr. Santana let Wendy called me back and told me she has removed the invoice for the teledentistry fees however, she wont' refer me to the specilist for this time anymore. So I contacted Seycove dental myself to refer me to the Endodontist specialist.

I've been this clinic for 3 years now, I never really think one day can goes like this, well I guess she doesn't care about the relationship with the patient and I am really disappointed. After I left the review they emailed me and said my perception to their services is defamatory. LOL, I basically just told the truth about everything happened to me. I just told about the fact I am not happy with this experience, that's all. And I have my right to leave the review here and also being honest. So I changed my star from 2 stars to 1. Because the email they send me they just called me being "Defamatory" this is a strong word. I won't take this. From my perspective this is how I feel, hopefully they can treat their patient better in the future, good luck with that.

Such friendly and nice staff! I’ve been to many dental clinics and they did not help me with my teeth insecurities, until I came to Astra Dental. Dr. Ana is so great and gave me more than what I wanted. She perfected my teeth with some dental contouring and I love my teeth now! It is all thanks to her and everyone else here at Astra dental! Highly recommend.

Astra is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Ana is incredibly helpful and has given me the best advice to transform my smile with invisalign in a year. I used to hate the dentist, but Astra Dental has made me not mind it so much! I’ve known Dr. Santana for over 9 years and she is an exceptional dentist with the biggest heart. If you need a dentist or are looking to switch them I can’t recommend her enough. She also seems very attentive to all the changes in the dental world and answers my question, no matter how dumb.

The dental appointment was for my 5 years old son. Dr. Santana was very friendly and was able to establish a great connection with him from the beginning and gained his trust very quickly.

During the procedure she was able to keep the engagement with him while completing the job, where other doctors couldn’t succeed before.

From my girl's description and what I though after hear that. They have good service (true, 2 star), kindness staff (push you spend money), greedy (ask you pay after treatment without notice). My girl friend contact with them and got first offer with a acceptable price for orthodontics. But after she have done a toothwash (inclusive) she was asked for other charge without noticed her. Sorry I won't let her go again.
