Love the environment. The loukoumades are so good you have to be sitting down to eat them, never standing up! The baristas are awesome too:) Warm and welcoming!

Today I was waking by and stopped to see what’s in store as I saw a bunch of people going in and out. Those juicy, crunchy, warm Loukoumades where worth it. The staff was very friendly and it’s so cheap as well. Got half a dozen for $2.80.
Will come back for more of the taste of Greece.

I still remember my mom getting us the honey balls as a kid for a treat. It was so unique to me at the time and just having it again after so long from here was just so awesome

The honey balls were so delicious. So nicely coated in sugar and they also have them with a cocoa powder, I believe. The texture was perfect making you feel like it’s just bursting with honey in each bite

As well, for price compared to other loukoumades places in toronto, this is definitely worth the price. Sometimes, the original is what outweighs the flashy flavours being provided by the other places.

Service was quick and got our order ready in no time at all. They also have a freezer selling frozen offerings of things they have in store.

Will definitely come back to try out the galaktoboureko

I was craving a Frappe and Loukoumades.considering that Athens is just up the street from my house and I have never been disappointed ordering from them, I decided to swing by. I have never had to throw out anything from there until that day. The frappes were undrinkable and the loukoumades were not good. I am not sure if the owners have changed or what has happened but I would rather drive the extra 15 mins to go to Loukoumaki or Ballissimo.

My favourite spot for Greek pastries! The loukoumathes (honey balls) are my favourite. The custard, spinach, and cheese pies are also delicious and the prices are excellent! There is also a nice seating area if you want to stop in for lunch, just make sure to bring cash/debit!

Ordered their spinach pie and honey puffs. It is to die for! Great atmosphere and it is situated in Danforth, lovely neighbourhood.

Great local stop for some coffee and pastries. Friendly service and reasonable prices is a recipe for success. Fan Favourites. Loukoumades, Spanakopita, Kreatopita, Frappe, Fredo Cappuccino

Just realized that there is a location in Scarborough which is much closer to me! A little more seating room than the Danforth location and the food is equally exceptional. I will definitely be visiting regularly. Spanakopita, Loukoumades, Cappuccino.

FYI: They only accept debit and cash and Loukoumades aren't ready until around 10: 00 a.m.

Pros:

The best loukamades I've ever had
Spinach and cheese pie are delicious
Quantity and prices are fair

Cons:

It's almost as if the staff is told not to smile, speak or be pleasant. What gives?

Love their spinach pie. I used to purchased at the original store over 30 years ago. Since they have one in uptown, it's more convenient

Greeks are super warm people, the customer service could be a little kindler and more Greek like though! But that being said, I love their delicious pastries!

There is no other. Athens bakery is the absolute best Greek bakery I've ever been to! I'm always getting loukomades with cinnamon, they are a serious addiction! The workers are all friendly and it's a very clean and modern space, I really like this place!

My mom used to come here all the time. Stopped in as I happened to be in the area, and glad I did. Save yourself the trouble and just get the Loukoumades. My wife yelled at me for not getting more! Will definitely be back here soon.

On my trip to Scarborough, I found this Greek pastry very interesting especially the excellent customer service from a Rumanian server. Not to mention the kindness.

You’ll just love their Greek pastries and I don’t even have to recommend one as all their selection is very delightful. For the owner, maybe install Wi-Fi?

This is the place to be for anything sweet and Greek. The Loukomates are literally the BEST and the price is beyond fair. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and modern. This is the perfect spot to hit if you need a unique dessert to bring over to a friend or family member or even a party. Its literally a little taste of Greek heaven!
