Greek fast food! Spanakopita (spinach pie) and Loukoumades (honey balls with cinnamon). Been enjoying the food from Athens Pastries for 20+ years now. Love it.

This bakery shop offers the best Spanakopita in the City! It also offers authentic Greek goodies that takes you back to Athens. Their Greek coffee is fresh and bold. Customer service is excellent. The inside of the store is reasonably spacious and clean. I love the simplicity of the menu. The shop is accessible by public transit.

Very friendly service, great coffee, and delicious, pastries. Spanakopita and Bougatsa have a crunchy, thicker crust.

Delicious food. I hadn't been back here since I was a kid but it was just as delicious as I remember. I odered the meat and spinach pies (the spinach is my favourite) and the honey dough balls. All of it is extremely delicious. The honey balls are extremely sweet but paired well with our iced cappuccinos.

The women who helped us were awesome also!

The best and only place I go on the Danforth for amazing pastries, spinach and cheese pies. I travel 50 minutes for them and well worth it!

I will go out of my way to get the loukoumades (honey balls) here and of course the spanakopita (spinach pies). Tried the galaktoboureko (custard pie) wasn't my favourite but I might of eaten too many honey balls before trying it to savour its custard sweetness. Definitely the honey balls are a lot sweeter, never try to two bite the honey balls, the honey will ooze out, always one bite them.

Best food in the whole city since at least the 90s! My dream is one day they open a west end location maybe in the small Greek enclave at Bloor and ossington

I used to go here all the time, they USED to have good coffees and food but it has since changed. Staff was not friendly at all, will not be returning. This place has lost the meaning of traditional. Pretty sure it has been sold and these owners don't seem to care in keeping GREEK traditions.

Came here with my fiance last week for the first time, the bougatsa was so fresh and they're very friendly. I'm making him take me again today.

An absolute classic - they have been around for decades - I used to go here as a kid and still love it. Very reasonable prices. They make the best desserts (explode in your mouth honey balls) and amazing savoury philo pastry dishes. Reminds me of my Yia Yia's cooking. Cannot recommend enough!

I come here for the loukamades every single time I'm in the neighbourhood. Well worth the trip.

Spanakopita and Loukoumades are so fresh and tasty. Not a long list of menu items, but the items that they do have are fantastic! There's a small seating area inside and some tables and chairs outside to enjoy as well. Definately worth the trip to The Danforth.

I don't live near Danforth but when I'm in the neighborhood I always make a point of going into Athens pastries their tiropites and spanakopites are the best in town And service is always very friendly

They close at 10PM on Fridays but didn't let me in at 9: 50PM to buy some desert to go. 1 star guess they don't need money?

The cheese pie and Lokomadis are great. It's in the Greek quarter. The environment is nice, the seller is kind, the customers are satisfied. I'll come again. I will not forget the boreks we ate and the coffees we drank here. I would like to stop by every time I come to Toronto. Tables and floors are really clean. The plates and cutlery used are also very clean. Seller did all his works.with gloves. I am very satisfied

Went to see my Greek friend at his office, brought loukis and spanakopita for all- the office is nowhere near the Danforth so it was a huge treat and much appreciated by all

When I moved here my boyfriend said we have to go to Athens and get the honey balls. I said what the heck are you talking about? Do you mean like a honey crueller from Tim Hortons? And he was like no this is completely different don’t ever compare the two. And I’m glad we got them because there is no comparison. These honey balls made me shed at least three tears. When you get home put them in the fridge and then eat them cold for a little treat as well. They definitely won’t last more than a few days because you will be so ravenous at 2 AM for these little juleps.

Best pastry place I've ever been to. They offer different kinds of pastries. Now, if you've never heard of Loukoumathes (honey balls), this is THE place to buy and taste!

Delicious and fresh, good coffee too. Nice location, you can eat there or take to go. My fav were the lukomades.

Delicious, would be better if the cook the pastry a bit less.so so over cook the bottom, but i guess that's how the owner wants them.even thou could be better and tastier leave them a bit less in the oven. Friendly staff.

The lukumades were truly amazing. Really enjoyed the spinach pie, there was a ton of flavour. I'd definitely drive from North York to buy these any day of the week. Will definitely be back.

I've been going here for years but now that there are bike lanes Parking is IMPOSSIBLE. 3 times now I have called ahead and requested (from owner and staff) that I can place an order by phone and then it would be ready to quickly pick up so as not to wait half an hour. Each time I did this they said yes they would have the simple order ready BUT each this I go there they NEVER have it ready and I again need to wait up to a half an hour to pick it up! Even when the store is empty they do not prepare it, and say " oh sorry we didn't start it"? They really need to up their game as parking is a premium on Danforth like Every other retailer they should offer a quick and efficient service to their clients.

This little Greek bakery has amazing loukoumades and spanakopita, served by super friendly staff and at very reasonable prices. The loukoumades are absolutely dripping with flavour in a fun little texture—I recommend getting at least a dozen or you'll simply be left wanting more. Give em a visit!

Authentic Greek Spanakopita and other goodies. This is a treat I always indulge in when I'm in Greek Town on The Danforth. Well known in the hood, frequented by many locals. Economical and tasty lunch or snack at under $5 tax in! Made fresh frequently throughout the day. If you happen to get the timing right and it's coming fresh out of the oven they will oblige you if you ask for a slice fresh from the oven Always friendly service!

On of the best pastries in the city. We tried Bougatsa and Galaktoboureko. Both tasted heavenly good. I’ll definitely go back more often.

This is the best Greek bakery in the city, hands-down! They serve amazing and authentic Greek pastries at a relatively fair price. I’d recommend the spanakopita (spinach pie) and the loukoumades (honey dough balls). The food here is always fresh and is by far my favourite place to get Greek pastries in the city!

Tried the spinach pie. It was so flavorful, juicy and fresh even if it doesn’t look like much on the shelf. It was still perfectly warm, like straight from the oven. Never tried it before and it was just amazing!

On a diet, not the place to be. Looking for a great selection of tasty greek pastries this is the place to be.

Place is cute, food is good but expensive ($10 for a spanako and tyro) and the ladies are rude. We always try to be over nice to see if they will do the basic but seriously. It’s called basic customer service: a smile, hello and thank you won’t hurt trust me. There are not as attractive but much cheaper places with nicer people very close by.

My favourite bakery in the area! Everything tastes great here! The atmosphere is very cosy, inviting. It would be even nice for a casual for a family / friends week end afternoon coffee and deserts.
Some ladies at the front could be kinder and nicer and more customer-friendly though. And that’s why i gave 4 stars. Other than that I would definitely would go there again. Its a lovely place

Best honeyballs (loukoumades) on the Danforth! Their pies are also delicious and crispy. The loukoumades also make a great snack to bring to parties and get togethers.

Lokomades and boreks are tasteful. Fair price for tasty lokomades. They’re one of my favorite, try the lokomades.

OK so I live nearby and I go here all the time it is my favourite restaurant on the Danforth, it never gets tiring or repetitive the best!

People keep saying that staff are rude but they are always very nice!

I go here a lot because they have great Greek pastries. Their spinach, cheese, and meat pies are all good and their loukamades are a crowd pleaser. The frappe is also good. The staff is always friendly and the prices are really reasonable.

Amazing coffee shop. I have been there over 20 times everytime i'm in Danforth. It was nice hot chocolate and even better pastries.

This has been the place to stop and enjoy Greek desserts and coffee for years. We always like the custard pie and honey balls. We had been listening to music at the new Relish Tapas bar next door and stopped at Athens for custard pies and coffee

Spinach pies, cheese pies and honey balls and a few other items - somewhat limited menu, but it works because they have been making the best for years. And you can buy a whole pie uncooked to bake at home.

The staff was very rude. I used to like this place but where the staff was nice and friendly. Now the staff does not seem to want to hear your comment and suggestion but instead lectures you and what you should do as a customer especially the cashier who was working this evening. The staff should be taught good customer service.

Amazing little Sugar Balls. With Cinnamon! No idea what their called but so worth the drive to Danforth Ave.to experience. Their coffee is good too! Awesome service

Got some Spanakopita (spinach pie) and Galaktoboureko (custard pie). The spinach pie was delightful, I never had a custard pie and it was fantastic. I'll do a detour to get some more!
