I literally never leave reviews but they left me no choice with how wonderful the experience was. I came to Daniel with wrist, shoulder, and neck pain from working all day at a desk and after three months of following the exercise plan that he put together, I’m now pain free:)

It was my first time at physio and honestly it was a little scary to confront issues that had plagued me for so long, but Daniel so amiable and his guidance resulted in a super smooth and comprehensive recovery process. He was extremely knowledgable, identified the issues quickly, and explained it in a way that was both informative and easy to understand.

The clinic was also exceptionally clean and reception was very welcoming. And sometimes there’s a dog (nice). Could not recommend more!

I can't thank Dayna enough for her support over the past few months rehabbing an old hamstring injury and post ACL reconstruction weaknesses. I have seen many physios in the past and was certain some of my aches and pains would not improve without invasive measures however with Dayna's help I am confident again to play sport again and feel stronger than ever. I've tried to refer all my friends to her hah!

I saw Gabby at Athlete’s Care for about 4 months for rehab and physio after undergoing 2 surgeries for a torn pec muscle.

Gabby was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and used a variety of techniques to aid in my recovery. She also taught me various exercises at different stages of my recovery to do on my own to help me regain my strength and mobility. Gabby is also very kind and friendly, and made me feel right at home during an otherwise scary time after a bad injury.

The facility is clean and modern with all the equipment you could need for physio, and the reception and staff are very friendly as well.

I would confidently recommend Athlete’s Care and Gabby to any friends, family, or anyone who needs physio. Great experience 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

James Kim is the best physio I have ever had (and I have had many)! After suffering from severe shin splints about two weeks out from my half marathon, he had me back up and ready to go with time to spare. The facility and staff are excellent. Recommend to any & all - especially runners. The return to training programs have proven to be incredible helpful and effective.

I just want to say, I’m so happy that I got to find this place and been treated by the Physiotherapist Omar. I’ve tried over 4 physiotherapy locations in Toronto since the Covid pandemic, and haven’t been able to feel improvement only when I came to Athletes care at this location. I have a sciatica and neck stenosis, and in the first week of attending, I’ve been feeling the difference. Now I no longer have sciatica, neck is completely better and I finally feel normal again. I will say Omar changed my mindset with the healing process and allowed me to push through, I had previous Physios limiting my movements and ability to work out, which made me feel down and demotivated, but Omar taught me that “pain is not parallel to damage”, and to get better I have to push through, ever since I felt like a new person, a feeling I’ve been deprived of since the main started during covid.
I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel normal again, Omar really works magic and such a great person, with the best music playlist, your sessions will definitely be fun and inspirational while you get better! “It almost seems impossible until it’s done”. I wish you best of luck!

My physiotherapist was Gabriela and she really helped me with my upper and lower back pain. I appreciated how she diagnosed the root of my muscle pain by checking things like my posture and gait, then gave me manageable exercises to work on. The acupuncture during the sessions also really helped. This was my first time doing physio, but Gabriela is super friendly so I was always comfortable and looked forward to my sessions.

James Kim is an absolute amazing person to work with. He's a young and hungry professional who is solution oriented. James cares about helping you, but more importantly, he cares about making sure you know how to take care of your own body long term. He is charismatic, fair, and pushes you for your own benefit - a true professional. Thank you for you help James, it was a pleasure learning from you.

Daniel is the man! Hurt my ankle going down a double black in Kananaskis and with a couple weeks of rest, and some of Daniel’s magic, I’m back skiing and doing the things I love!

I have been going to Athlete’s Care Richmond for ACL surgery rehab for 2 months. I switched over from another physiotherapist after 3 months of not making much progress and losing confidence. After switching here my progress sped up a lot and I regained my trust in physiotherapy. Omar is very knowledgeable and cares about a lot of small details that my previous PT did not notice. Our sessions never start late, very time effective use of the 30 minutes, and he is very friendly and motivating. The facility is clean and spacious, and the front desk person is also very nice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sports physiotherapist.

The first time I went to Athlete's Care Sports Medicine Centre at John & Richmond, I sat down to wait for my appointment and my (now) chiropractor Bryan had to literally help me out of my seat as I couldn't manage to stand up after sitting. That's how bad my back was. I had surgery on my spine in the past and I am prone to throwing my back out. I was in so much pain. By the time I was done my first appointment, I could actually walk properly and the pain had subsided enough that I could function again.
Since then, I've also started to see Omar my physiotherapist who has also helped me immensely, working to rid me of my sciatica and strengthen my core and back. Between the two of them, I live a happy pain-free life now. They don't pressure me to come in a million times a month either, if anything it's the opposite, they just take care of me as needed and I am forever grateful for their help and expertise. Highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff and superb service. Had a ruptured tendon and after splinting was done I got 8 physio sessions at Athlete’s care and progress was noticeable after each one of them. Even got to try some acupuncture to speed up the healing process. Will definitely come back in case of any future injuries.

I had a very positive experience with the Richmond and John team. My online physio appointments quickly identified some great exercises to help alleviate plantar fasciitis. I felt considerable improvement after just a couple of sessions. Omar also made some great suggestions to address longer-term issues related to an old knee injury. He set up a maintenance routine that I now do on my own to help strengthen the weak spots. I highly recommend the Richmond and John team!

I started seeing Omar and Vinosha in June of 2021 at the Athlete's Care at John and Richmond after many years struggling to find physiotherapists with a direct approach to rehabilitation.

And I'm very happy I did.

Since my first appointment, I have steadily made improvements to my mobility, and I have gradually added new stretching circuits to my ever-increasing arsenal that help with pain management. At previous physiotherapists, my progress was stunted due to the nature of operations - a "shop"-like atmosphere that prioritized client volume over one-on-one support. A real set-it-and-forget-it experience that emphasized a TENS machine as the primary mode of therapy.

What I've come to expect from Omar and Vinosha is a mix of modalities that have helped support my progress, from hands-on manual therapy to stretching guidance and support. Omar even introduced me to a very supportive method of acupuncture that I find very helpful for acute pain and deep muscle stimulation.

I have suffered from chronic pain for 5 years, due to disc degeneration and postural issues that have not been properly assessed in previous physiotherapy sessions, so I was happy to find not one, but two physiotherapists, who seem excited about repairing my broken body.

I highly recommend this clinic if you're looking for one-on-one support, and smart and enthusiastic physiotherapists who are happy to celebrate your wins right alongside you.

Started going here a couple of months ago for shoulder / upper back issues. My recovery has been swift and smooth, next to no pain in about 4 weeks and I was able to start resistance training again.
