Receptionist wasn't friendly, service was ok and the walls were so thin that I can hear a conversation the whole time I was supposed to be relaxed.

This was my first experience at Atinama, my massage therapist Corrinne was extremely kind and friendly. She focused on my back and neck. Overall the services and the experience was amazing I would definitely visit them more often.

Amazing atmosphere, super relaxing and healing massage, incredible vibes. Such a cool cozy spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you so much! Will definitely be returning and recommending.

Always a great experience here, but today's was particularly good from top to bottom.for one, i was able to book with virtually no notice (like a half hour ahead), and not only that but both the person who took my booking - and more importantly, the therapist - were both great.rachel, who actually worked on me, listened carefully to what i felt needed attention then got to work efficiently.aside from obvious technical knowledge and physical strength, what i think made my experience great was that i could tell she worked off intuition.she did just the right amount of work in the right spots.would recommend wholeheartedly.

I had an 45 mins massage appointment at 2: 30 pm and I arrived there at 2: 20.
My therapist came to call me at 2: 40 and said to the receptionist that she didn’t know I was waiting outside even I checked in. I waited 20 mins for her and she also finished massage earlier than 45 mins. I was disappointed when I checked the time. I was on time for the appointment and I felt unfair that she cut it short and didn’t not focus on the area that I requested. I do not feel like going back there again.

I went to Atinama Massage & Wellness Clinic today for the first time. My therapist was Abbas. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. She greeted me with some tea. The environment is very calming and clean. Abbas is very attentive and asks what areas I'd like to focus on. He is very thorough with each area. The deep tissue massage is exactly what I needed! Highly recommend and would definitely return! Thanks!

My experience with Lilia has been fantastic and her lympathic massage has greatly helped my recovery from surgery.

My experience was very unpleasant. The massage professional was new and seemed untrained. I had booked for a 1 hour massage and not even once I felt she knew what was she doing. Her massage stokes were incomplete and i wasted my 1 hour lying there for any kind of muscle release or feel stress free. I was stressed whole time.to top that experience at check out, i was informed as as the professional was new (apparently her first day) they were unable to put through my insurance and I was left with a receipt to file the claim myself.
I felt so stupid to waste my 1 hour of time and $135 for getting more stressed.
I am never coming here and advise to anyone visiting. Please check at reception about insurance before taking any service.

I have had great experiences at Atinama! I highly recommend seeing Lilia for cupping massage, she is so kind, knowledgable, attentive and takes the time to offer you treatment that is best suited for you.

Excellent experience - relaxing environment, friendly receptionist Manuela, and skilled RMT Mariela. Highly recommend trying Atinama. Their hours (ie weeknights and weekends) are also very convenient.

First time visit here and the place is very nice with a welcoming front desk staff.

I love this place for massage. It's very clean and quiet. Renzo is awesome and I feel relaxed at the end of each session. He has great knowledge and will explain what to do to to remove nodes. I highly recommend him.

Renzo is an excellent masseur and I left his table restored. I am grateful for his expertise and understanding!

Really calming atmosphere and Sarah was lovely and made me feel very comfortable before, during and after treatment. Feeling a lot better physically and mentally afterwards.

It was my first time at Atinama getting lymphatic massage back in January! Everyone was incredibly nice. The space was well decorated and had a super calming atmosphere even off such a busy street. Victoria was lovely to talk to and extremely knowledgeable during the process and gave very detailed post-massage instructions! As for the massage itself, it really helped with my immune and digestive health & has made me noticeably more toned. I’ll definitely be back:)

Got a brazilian lymph drainage + uv treatment from Victoria to help with my fibromyalgia. Medication, GI supplements, exercise + this makes me feel very very close to pain free

Lilia does not just give me incredible massages, she also designed a personalized stretching and strengthening program for me that I was easily able to do at home. I am so impressed with the results of the work we were able to do together to heal my shoulder injury and restore my mobility. It has been a game changer for reducing my pain and improving my quality of life.

They have created the most welcoming and warm spot in this area. Highly recommend! And do yourself a favour, 60mins is never enough! Go for longer, you’ll thank yourself ️

I LOVED Atinama. I did the Brazilian Lympathic Vacuum Therapy with Victoria. This was my first time and she was so informative and attentive. Victoria really took the time to listen to me about issues I was having and why I wanted the service, and gave me some helpful tips. She was just so nice and made the whole experience really enjoyable. Will be back again!

I’ve been going to Lilia for a couple sessions now and I have really enjoyed our sessions together. She has helped me alleviate some pain I have gotten while playing sports. She has also taught me stretches that helps me get through my day to day pain-free! Lilia is an expert at what she does and I would highly recommend her to others

Wonderful space. Amazing therapist, but deplorable front desk customer service staff.

Unfortunately, they have a front desk staff who clearly doesn't care at all about providing respectful and solution-based customer service.

She is belittling and rude and has no regard for the clients who keep the lights on. She is constantly dismissive and when held accountable for her lack of professionalism will increase the intensity of the disrespect.

Monica has created a beautiful space at Atinama for folks to come for healing. Unfortunately, this front desk staff could careless about the sacrifices she has made to create it. She is seriously a stain on the company and certainly is not in alignment with the company's overall mission and vision.

I want share my experience about Atinama massage therapy, plz before deciding go to this place checking all of reviews. My first time I went this place and over, just I can say therapist weren’t experience and he don’t know how shall worked. I have shoulder issues right now my pain is more because he doesn’t experience about therapy. I hope any body don’t doing same mistake and without research do not going therapy.

I love all of the therapist at this Massage spot however, the front desk receptionist lady has no manners or customer service skills. She just told me to find a new spot to go to and then hung up the phone on me. "Very Classy"

In response to your reply to my review "Amiga Wheatle", I find it hard to believe that if our family had in fact kept up the bad behaviour you claim including "making your front desk receptionist cry" you would have prohibited us from booking with you many moons ago and it wouldn't have taken our recent 1-star review of your front desk staff for you to take action.

FRAUD. Your response is to save face is not rooted in fact. You are trying to discredit my review but it true whether you like it or not.

So much so that I emailed you about her bad behaviour in the past and not once did you accuse my family of the things you claim. In fact you were apologetic.

In addition I noticed Atinama has charged my credit card in the amount of $108.48. This seems to be a cancellation charge, for the same appointment in question. As per my email you this is fraud, it has been reported as such and I demand my money back immediately. How dare you! This is not the first time Atinama has charged my credit card fraudulently and when i emailed you (Monica) about it I was told you were out of the country and would not be available to process the refund until your return. 6 months later. Stop this! Shall I post receipts/proof? Emails? What are you talking about here? ! You will not make us out to liars. Shame on you.

To be clear, the receptionist advised she cancelled Jodie's appointment and sent the therapist home despite Jodie having had an agreement regarding his arrival time, at the time of booking. You would be familiar with those arrangements because they benefitted you and your therapists financially each time. Shall I post receipts/proof? Happy to post them if you need a refresher?

I highly recommend Victoria’s unique and innovative vacuum lymphatic drainage treatment! I have suffered for over a decade from serious lymphedema in my left arm. It is swollen to twice the size of my right arm. This occurred after I had a necessary surgery and in ten years nothing helped including regular lymphatic drainage massage or medical sleeves. Victoria actively listened to my concerns and hopes, explained lymphedema as a medical condition more thoroughly than my doctor had, and explained in detail how her treatment would work to ameliorate my condition. She was very clear that everyone’s body is different, and therefore clients experience varying results and side effects. I am so grateful to Victoria for her genuine interest and caring about my health. I have noticed great improvements to not only the lymphedema but also to my health overall! Victoria is a truly knowledgeable and gifted professional health care practitioner. Thank you so much!

I have seen Victoria G for Brazilian lymphatic drainage and I can’t say enough about this service. I feel way lighter and less bloated afterwards and notice results even weeks following these sessions. She uses several different tools and positions to get it just right. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful appointment with Abbas. He was very kind and knowledgeable, helped me work through concerns with a minor sports injury as well as taught me some important corrective techniques for the future. All of this information delivered while having a very soothing massage. I definitely recommend Atinama and a booking with Abbas should you need an RMT.

I've been coming to Atinama since 2018 and it is the only place I'll get my massage therapy from. The environment is so peaceful and cozy, and Lilia Leon provides the best relaxation massage every single time.

I saw Victoria for my visit and all I have to say is AMAZING therapist! I recently had a procedure done and came to see her for lymphatic drainage and loved how light I felt after as well as the results. She was also very thorough and super nice through it all. Thank you so much Victoria for making my experience easy and enjoyable. Definitely will be recommending to my friends and family

TLDR; I visited Atinama 3 weeks ago and asked the therapist I booked with to not use a specific machine in sensitive areas of my body and she still used it there which has had unfavourable after effects for me.
I wanted to wait some time to see if there were any improvements and there haven’t been so I am following up with this review so that others can avoid this place and not have to deal with the same experience I had.

I would not recommend this location after my experience with them.

I visited Atinama twice, following my second visit I was extremely unhappy with the treatment which Victoria provided. In short I had requested that a specific tool not be used on certain areas of my body as I’d previously been advised not to put pressure there following a major procedure. She still did so a few times and there were a few times I had to correct her positioning as I could feel pressure where it should not be.

I followed up with the manager & therapist who worked on me after my massage explaining why I was unhappy with the treatment and there was a bit of back and forth regarding my concerns.

The therapist who worked on me attempted to explain what she felt the machine had done to cause said changes but I still spoke with my provider who completed my procedure thereafter to get more insight on the situation and she did validate some of my concerns. I followed up with the massage therapist with this information and overall the interaction was just unproductive.

Even though Victoria was communicating in this overly nice tone (kind of like that customer service tone people are forced to use to appear more professional/empathetic), there was little to no accountability taken. In our communications she would invalidate feedback from my medical provider, or attempt to deflect by placing the responsibility of my unhappiness on my the procedure I had no matter how many times I said the issue was with the treatment I received from her and nothing else. At one point she was even trying to convince me that the machine hadn’t been used where I felt her use it and you can still see visible indentations and changes on my body (most definitely did not appreciate the gaslighting there).

The “apology” that I did end up receiving after a long line up of rebuttals was along the lines of “sorry you *feel* that this treatment did xyz”, instead of just apologizing for performing treatment where she was asked not too. It’s like she just wasn’t understanding that regardless of her intentions, the actual outcome/impact of her treatment was not a positive one.
To me as any service provider you have to know that you can be great at your job but that you also can screw up and have room to learn from your mistakes.

Eventually I let the correspondence die off as there was nothing further I could do about the situation but think it’s fair to warn other people to take their money elsewhere where you will be listened to PRIOR to and following your treatment to avoid any issues if you are in a sensitive healing space.

Dealing with this practice added more stress on me than I needed and their mistake is going to cost me even more money resolve. Wasn't worth it.

One of the best RMT services in Spadina. My RMT was Abbas and he did a great job in giving me tips on how to improve my posture as well. Will come back for sure!

Always an extraordinary experience. I’ve been with Renzo, Thiru, Monica and now Amanda. They’re all great therapists in their own way. The only time I tried another massage spa I got certain Atinama is IT for me. I don’t go any place else now.

I've looked around Toronto and never had a better massage then here. 10/10 would recommend going to Renzo Rodriguez.

I have referred family and friends to Renzo and everyone has only positive things to say. He is extremely knowledgeable and has been great to resolve a lot of my long term back pain.

Consider these 5 stars twice. Once for the amazing place and again for Amanda.
I’ve had the best massage experience here and with her. As soon as you enter, you’ll get the feeling that you’re here to get some relaxation. On top of that, Amanda went above and beyond with her unique blend of massages after hearing me out. She’s going to be my go-to person for massages. I’m sure other therapists here are amazing as well. Thank you!

I had my first Massage at Atinama, had heard a bit about it around so was very excited. But it turned out to be a very bad experience not because of anyone’s behaviour cause everyone was kind. But the massage itself was underwhelming, too much focus on pressure points and somehow ignored the problem areas I had highlighted. Also of all deep tissue massages I have had this had been the most underwhelming.
I just left the place poorer in experience and in cash. Highly disappointed …

Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. I have had a lot of massages over the years and by far my massage at Atinama was one of the least relaxing one. I booked in with Renzo, who was very professional and asked my focus areas but the massage was not great. Even after multiple requests to amend the pressure there was no change.

Unfortunately, my first visit turned out to be a nightmare due to the receptionist who demonstrated unprofessional, unacceptable behaviour by being extremely rude and gaslighting. I didn't even get the chance to attend the appointment because of her. I won't bother with this clinic and make sure none of my friends/acquaintances will, either especially when there are many other options in the city.

For context: when I showed up for my 7 o'clock appointmen last night, I was told I didn't complete the online COVID screening. In fact I did fill out and submit the COVID screening hours in advance when I had recieved the reminder text. I understand there can be errors in online systems, but instead of apologizing for their system error, the receptionist decided to blame me and insisted I was lying. When I asked her to resend the COVID link, she said she emailed but nothing came into my inbox. After being left unattended for 10 minutes in the sitting area, I asked whether my appointment was starting, only to be told "what're you talking about? Your appointment is at 7: 30 so just wait there. " So I went up to her to show the confirmation text and email, but she immediately dismissed it, and started saying I was "harassing" her. When I asked why, she started MOCKING me saying I was being "really bad" to her. So I asked to see the manager, one of the RMTs said she is the one managing, which was a surprise. I had to cancel the appointment because this whole interaction caused me a huge amount of emotional distress when this place should've been only about relaxation and comfort. I felt humiliated by this person who created a scene, playing the victim in front of her colleagues. She refused to reveal her name when I asked clearly because she knew she was in the wrong there. I cannot believe what happened and still feel very frustrated about it.

I wanted to file a formal complaint so called this morning to find out there's discrepancy between what I was told last night and today. A) The manager is in on Tuesday-Thursday, so the receptionist I met is NOT the manager, B) this other receptionist confirmed my appointment WAS at 7pm. So I have no idea what that fuss was about, but I know I absolutely did not deserve it.

It was the worst customer experience I've ever had. I only hope this particular person didn't or won't lose another potential client for this business because of her incompetency.

Jennifer was very professional, thoroughly listened to my needs and left me feeling relaxed both physically and mentally. I could actually feel the difference in my stride walking out of the building.

It was great, both ; the masseuse and the receptionist were great, very helpful and knowledgeable.

I did a quick search around me for a massage place, and low and behold I found the best one. The atmosphere is amazing, the location is perfect, its secluded and calm. The reception team is AWESOME, and I have an amazing practitioner who really helped me. She listened, and worked on areas that mattered. Thank you so much for making me feel and walk like a million dollar bill!

I was late to my appointment due to work obligations, therapist has left before my arrival and I was still charged for the time. There doesn't seem to be any concern or empathy for patient care, I was coming to treat a neck injury.

Monica has created a true oasis in the city in Atinama. We have been clients of Monica for years now and it has been wonderful to see her clinic and client base grow - she is truly deserving of every success.

The only massage clinic that is open evenings and weekends around downtown core. Very convenient to book online and near term availability. When you come in it’s a welcoming space with calming tea and relaxing atmosphere. Always been an enjoyable experience! Much recommended!

I have been a patient of Dr. Natalie Bozinovski for several year and i recently started seeing her at the Atinama clinic. Dr. Bozinovski is highly knowledgeable and personable and I feel very confident in her abilities to address my health concerns. I would recommend Dr. Bozinovski to anyone seeking a Naturopathic doctor.

I really liked my session here. The team were able to see me quickly, the message was great and they do direct billing (the main reason I booked over another place). I will definitely go back.

The reason I gave it 4* rather than 5* is because of the incredibly loud, creaky floor. I could hear every step the masseur took and everyone else in the building - not the best when you're trying to relax! I really recommend that they upgrade the floor as even with mats and carpets it's still super loud.

Called to book an appointment for today. They cancelled the appointment 1 hour before it was supposed to begin and only when I expressed my displeasure twice* did they concede to offering a $20 credit for a future appointment. However, the appointment has to be made with the same therapist who cancelled and on that therapist's availability.

Hugely inconvenient. Would have been more useful if the credit could be applied to any upcoming appointment to compensate for the trouble.

Won't be rebooking.
