What a gem! Huge collection, well organized, with lots of treasures at all price points. Do yourself a favour and take lots of time to browse.

This place is great! They have a great selection on new and old books at a very reasonable price. They have lots of great vintage postcards and prints, which I love. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When my friends visit from GTA, they always want to go there for great finds.

A great used bookstore for browsing and finding eclectic and conventional books. Wide selection on the main floor, discounted books in the basement and the top floor is as much a museum as bookstore

London IMO is a boring soulless city. This is one of the very few places in this city that I really feel good. Attic Books as I usually describe it, has its own signature, its own soul which is a rare thing to find in London. I love how they have a variety of everything beautiful and classic, their second hand books, their posters and stamps and antiques, alongside hardcover bestsellers of the day. I hope their business thrive and I really recommend visiting it to any book lover.

Attic has a wonderful selection that I used to love to peruse, but the owner's insistence on selling racist postcards because they have "historical value" (which he makes money of), is a sad aspect of the business. If you're interested in postcards from a few decades ago that depicts Indigenous people are drunken, money-stealing savages; Black people as.honestly things that shouldn't even be typed here, and of course, men beating their views with clubs because their coffee is cold - Attic Books got you

HUGE used book store! Ju popped in while visiting my sister but you could easily spend hours in there looking at everything. 3 floors (didn't check out the bottom floor which I think was a discounted section) pretty much every kind of book you could think of, plus some prints and other cool things. Friendly staff too! Definitely will be back if I'm ever in the area again!

Actually a pretty solid selection of used books with great prices! Books are organized in a comprehensive way + bonus points for nice and helpful staff.

A lovely store! Lots of antique, vintage books, postcards, cards, wall arts, etc.

They have a basement where they have their sale items. And 2nd floor where there were even more books and lots of wall art.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. You can also submit a request for a specific book or item on a written paper and they will keep an eye on it for you and contact you via whichever method you prefer.

A gem in the core to be sure. The staff was kind and watched my bag for me while I shopped. I purchased some really unique original post cards and enjoyed the maps. It felt like a place I could spend allot of time in.
Unfortunately I had crossed paths with some hard drug users adjacent to the building, nothing the city is not already aware of I am sure. The new interlocking brick that runs in front of Attick Books is very charming.
I recommend this unique store to friends and family.

I love this book store. The creak of the floors and smell of the books just let's me relax and spend my money with abandon. The folks that work here are helpful and will always point you to the right section. A london staple business.

Visited from the US. Found some original art I wanted to purchase, and was unable to come back and get it before returning because the store was closed. So, I called the store, and they were nice enough to locate it in the store for me and ship it to my home. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and helpful. Lots of books, art, and more.

One big issue I have is I buy to much every time I go, staff is always friendly and helpful and I always find interesting books here, wether it's just for reading or collecting

I have been a customer for about 30 years but recently when I call to ask questions about certain books and availability on a Saturday there is a girl who answers the phone and she is very rude. She said her name was Emma. She definitely needs some lessons on better customer service skills during a pandemic as a older lady I know something about customer service and phone skills and this lady has none. If she can’t find a book or another customer calls she just hangs up on me. It’s almost as if she doesn’t want to help me or do her job. I have never previously negative experience here it’s just that one lady.

I do really enjoy wandering this store, a really vast selection and great prices. But I have found that lately it feels like staff are doing you a favour by helping you, I know everything is different and hard right now but my last two or three experiences with the store have been somewhat spoiled by this attitude.

3 floors that are worth browsing and taking your time with. The staff is super friendly and you’re bound to come out if the store with something you didn’t expect!

Such a cool spot! I've done almost 60% of my gift shopping here and I seem to find something for myself. Love supporting these guys over a Chapters or Amazon. Easy to feel overwhelmed by their slecelction but it's a bargain/treasure hunter's dream in there.

I have ordered the book lover's care package as gifts to be shared at a distance during the pandemic. The delivery is super speedy, books are chosen with care and includes the personal touch of a handwritten note. I highly recommend this as a great gift idea while supporting an awesome local business. It it beyond worth it considering it comes with a handmade card to share some sweet messages with those you can't see in person.

I’ve been going to Attic Books for around 20 years now. I highly recommend them. They are Helpful, friendly and knowledgable (staff) and amazing reading materials. 5* all the way. Recently, I took 15 to 20 books to them and exchanged them for store credit (and bought more books).

I stumbled onto Attic Books by chance while visiting London. Am so glad I did! It's the kind of place book lovers will enjoy - clean, well-lit, with creaky wooden floors, books from floor to ceiling, literary finds both old and new, vintage postcards, wall art and illustrations, etc.etc. The prices, like the people who were there, are quite friendly (scored two hardcover Mary Renaults for $15.their second floor is a literary treasure vault). It was their darling blue elevator Tardis that sealed the deal for me.any bookstore run by people with a sense of humour and a good grasp of pop culture is a bookstore worth returning to. My only regret is not getting to visit the basement - I was embarrassed by all the creaking and noise my heeled boots were making, so decided to call it a day!

I alway enjoy a visit to Attic Books. They are alway kind and courteous with expertise on what you are looking for. Reserving books that you desire is made easy with their online forms and they have been amazing considering the circumstances with Covid. Thank you for being a wonderful resource for my brain food.

I ordered the book lover's care package for my dad for Christmas and it was awesome. Attic Books went above and beyond with my order by including an extra book and vintage sci-fi card. I ordered the present today and received the package a few hours later. All of the books were in amazing condition and the order included a lovely personalized note. I highly recommend shopping at Attic Books. I was so impressed! I'm so excited to give these books to my dad for Christmas.

Attic Books has not only an amazing selection of rare and well-preserved books, but also art, cards, prints, cameras, stamps and many fun oldies and oddities. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the owner is very involved and you can catch him in-store if you have items you want to sell.

I purchased a book online this past week. The book condition is excellent and porch drop off is so appreciated. Keep up the great customer service!

Fantastic used books store. Really wonderful selection. It's really fun to go look at the rare and first edition stuff too. The pulp section is also entertaining.

I've dealt with Marvin at both shows and at their downtown location, a fair dealer, he offers some of the most select used books and old paper in Ontario.

Dropped in without an appointment to sell old books, I didn't realize you needed an appointment. The staff were still able to take a look through them with no notice. Store was well laid out with great quality books at reasonable prices. Clean, easy to get around, friendly staff.

A large collection of books. Got another today. The road is under serious construction so you will have to find public parking and walk to the store.

Worth a visit when you are DOWNTOWN. Clean, refreshing. The word ECLECTIC comes to mind. Long, long time London supporters. A little expensive.but, you truly can't find a lot of their books.elsewhere.

The girl working near entrance was welcoming and friendly. Other staff seemed suspicious as I took my time browsing; maybe understandable because it is downtown. When I asked a question about a specific genre the lady was puzzled and unwilling to be helpful.
