Authentic Vietnamese Pho House (BARRHAVEN LOCATION)

Perfect for the cold weather! The service is good and they always have a busy atmosphere. We went as a group and everyone left super full! The servings are quite big and definitely enough for left overs depending on what you order!

Delicious and fresh food! Loved the Sister's Soup and spring rolls - hot and super crunchy. Great atmosphere with a steady stream of tables on a Thursday at midday. Good service with ample time to hang out and enjoy your food without feeling rushed.

I love this place! I was thrilled when they opened up the Barrhaven location - I used to drive out to the Fernbank or Pinecrest location. The food is delicious and the fact that the restaurants are family owned/operated is nice especially since so much are big chain places these days. Pho is comfort food when I’ve got a cold otherwise I get the vermicelli. Spring rolls are always a must too!

Pretty good, finally a place where I left satisfied from a medium pho. The portions were as expected and they didn't short change me. Beef was tender and flavourful.

A bit too much star anise in the broth tho.

The atmosphere is nice but the cold breeze that comes in every time the door opens is brutal. The service was lacking, they served us sharing dishes and no side plates, never offered a drink until we asked. The soup has a overload of spice and the bad thing is it has no real flavor. The soup also has a strange smell, you will need to smell for yourself. The spring rolls are nothing spectacular and the shrimp wonton in the soup.well I don't have much to say but I will go back to merivale of which is always on their game.

Our go to place for ultimate comfort food! Great taste, great quality and very good service.

The food is good but after ordering my food
in advance and was told to pick it up in half an hour when I arrived I had to wait an extra half hour for it to be ready. They did give us drinks and apologize but the hour wait a bit too long.

Went for lunch with a friend today. The food was quite good, and there was a steady rotation of tables coming through during our stay. We ordered 2 apps and 2 soups. The apps came out quickly, but we waited a long time for the soups. All the tables around us had gotten their food, and in some cases left. We had to ask if it was still coming. Eventually I did come. Thankfully we werent in a hurry

Really nice little place to go and eat with a bunch of friends or even when you decide to do a solo meal they treat you really nice. Food has amazing taste, nit was fresh and the quantity was enough to fill you completelly! Love this place, I normally do take out but after today I might just do the 5min drive to have a cozy meal.

Here's good food and service. Every server is very smart and quick. I recommend any menu that includes grilled pork or beef. Pho is not surprised but more than basic. Especially if you paid in cash, you can get 5% off.

Normally a go to but recently went during non-peak time with 2 others and ordered 3 medium bowls with 2 apps and it took 58 minutes for it to arrive.

We waited patiently while we watched them hustle to get food for the Uber/Skip drivers PLUS the folks coming in picking up their take out.

The food is great it’s simply how the staff prioritized the orders and in this case, if you go in, be prepared to wait and watch food go out.

I wouldn’t recommend this specific location. Instead, I would recommend the Greenbank location.

Worst service ever. Waited to be seated. Two tables became empty and no one let us sit. Our group of 4 asked if we could sit, and the waitress said yes. After 50 minutes, no one came to give us water or take our order. The waitress made eye contact with us multiple times while cleaning tables and ignored us. Spoke to the manager and they apologized but did not offer to make it right so we left.

Went here and was not seated for about 20 minutes, and then afterwards the service was really slow. They did not take our order for a long time, we left after almost an hour without any service.

Don’t get me wrong the food is great! But lord all mighty get the orders right! Constantly every take out order is wrong. Unfortunately I myself and the family will no longer support this restaurant.

Ordered from this location several times via UberEats & I’ve been impressed with their food quality, presentation, and packaging every time!

Their Vietnamese iced coffee packaging is THE BEST. I normally order that just to keep it in my fridge & bring it to work the next day since they’re not within delivery proximity over there.

I normally order the spring rolls along with the classic rare beef, triple, and beef ball noodle, but figured we would try something new on the most recent order. This time we got the Saigon Style Crab Meat Soup, boy was I impressed! Everything was packed nicely and separately so that it wouldn’t overcook, get soggy, or stick together. The taste reminded me of the good ol’ days in GTA at Pacific Mall.

Would highly recommend this location if you’re nearby, will definitely be ordering from here more often!

On this particular Uber eats day (May 21), we were very disappointed to get soggy, watery, expired, and smelly bean sprouts for our pho.

Best pho in ottawa hands down. Amazing portions and quality of food, never disappointed!

Authentic INDEED! The best Pho in Barrhaven (in my opinion) I don’t order from anywhere else. This is the closest you’ll get to authentic home made pho!

Super delicious Vietnamese food. Had the beef fried noodle as a main dish. Fresh, delicious and not too heavy. Friendly staff and great service! Dining area is neat and tidy and well partitioned for Covid. Far from where I live, but definitely be a returning customer.:) Highly recommend! *Barhaven location*

Sadly was turned away and denied service

It is my first time to try pho. So I really can't compare it to other phos. However, it was just some rice noodles in chicken broth, no special spices, sauce or taste. Your 5 years old son/daughter can cook the same or better at home and it will save you a lot of money.
