Friendly staff - clean location. I felt like some spring rolls so ordered some to go. I wish they came with the lettuce garnish showed on the ordering website. The spring rolls were average - the clear sauce wasn’t very strong. Would go back to try something else.

First time eating in and was a much better experience than I remember when I ordered takeout before. The portions are very big! The Bun Bo Hue was lacking in spicyness but still tasted very good. The Pho, Grilled Shrimp and Spring Roll Noodle Bowl and Ha Noi style spring rolls were also very good however we found the fish sauce wasn't as flavourful as fish sauce normally is.almost watered down but still decent. Overall a decent Pho spot in Kanata. Enjoy.

If you're looking for a taste of Vietnam in Kanata, Authentic Vietnamese Pho House is definitely worth checking out. I visited on a Saturday and had a mixed experience with my order.
First up was the dry grilled beef AAAA rib eye bowl, which I found to be decent but not exceptional. The meat was tender and well-cooked, but the overall flavor profile lacked a certain complexity that I was hoping for. However, once I tried the sauce on the table, everything changed. The sauce was absolutely delicious, and it took the dish to a whole new level. With the sauce, I'd rate the dish a perfect 10/10.
Next, I tried the grilled chicken rice wrap. Unfortunately, this dish wasn't really my thing. It lacked a certain spark that I was hoping for, and the flavors didn't really come together in a way that excited my taste buds. However, I'm sure that there are plenty of people out there who would enjoy this dish, so it might be worth a try if you're feeling adventurous.
The service at Authentic Vietnamese Pho House was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even gave us a complimentary pot of tea, which was a nice touch. It was a small gesture, but it really added to the overall experience.

Fantastic! I get it once a month and I’ve never had a restaurant where I order the same thing over and over again but the grilled shrimp and spring roll bowl is fantastic and I crave it all the time now. Vietnamese iced coffee is also delicious.

First time coming here with friends! The bun Bo hue and pho was perfect! The Bo tai chanh was okay however usually it comes with shrimp crackers at other places I’ve had, this one didn’t have it but was pretty decent portion.
The shaking beef was not good at all, so chewy… don’t recommend it.
Service was quite slow when we came around 1: 30pm ish on a Sunday and waited over 20-30 mins for our appetizers/ food to come.

Weak food, friendly staff, clean restaurant.
That's this place in a nutshell. Vietnamese food is full of flavour and exciting your palate with every bite.not here though.
Appetizer:
The spring rolls were greasy and for some reason had mushrooms inside the filling. They also lacked the usual lettuce and mint to wrap them only a single piece of lettuce with a couple of strands of red cabbage and carrot as plate decoration. The dipping sauce was also very bland, missing the usual bright punch. The rice paper rolls were good size but unfortunately that was the highlight as they lacked the falvourful fillings normally found within and the peanut sauce was not recognized as a peanut sauce except for the couple of chunks of peanut sprinkled on top.

Beef and meatball pho was again shallow in flavour with a slick of oil on top of the broth and the beef was 60/40 fat/meat.overall a real letdown and we didn't finish it.
Chicken and chinese sausage fried rice was good portion and lots of ingredients but the rice was WAY over cooked and falling apart, the chinese sausage was precooked and burnt on one side, and the only flavour you could taste was a little soy sauce. Bland bland bland.
Beef stirfry with rice noodles was plentiful and lots of fresh ingredients. Overall the best thing we ate and even this was brought down by a big puddle of watery bland sauce the dish was floating in.

OK I guess. Beef Balls Could Be Better Improved
Don't get me wrong. The restaurant food and décor are great (better than other Vietnamese soup places). Most of my family members loved the food and they give the place a 5-star. My dish was quite tasty but still complain about the quality of the beef-balls: too may nerves and fat stuff.

Great place, great food and great service! Always a wonderful experience at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city! The carpaccio is delightful!

My kids and i love pho and we have tried many many places. Tonight I decided to try here and I must say they won us over. The food was AMAZING. It did take a little longer but honestly it was worth the wait and would wait how ever long I needed to for there food Again. It was fresh and full of flavour and amazing portions. So happy I found this little gem of a place. This place with absolutely be out go to spot from now on.

My absolute fave spot for pho. Servers are friendly, and know us well now) I order SP08 with customizations, and my partner usually orders the crispy noodle stirfry or a beef stirfy. Always fresh and prepared well.
