Steer clear from this dirty, deceptive dealership. I’m 20, this was my first car. There’s no words for how much financial and mental distress they caused me. They put me in more than 30k in debt with a broken vehicle that burns oil like hell. When I took it to an authorized service, they issued a report and told me to not even use the vehicle for my safety as the engine could break any time. I use it for work so I don’t have any chance but to add oil to the engine almost every 500 kms (that alone costed me more than 4k at this point).

They sold me a 2016 Subaru Legacy for more than 20k (over 30k with finance) back in July 2023. They told me to let them know if I run into any issues within the first month. I told them after a few weeks, in the first month, that it burned oil and they told me it’s normal for Subarus to burn oil. I even brought the vehicle to their service. They checked and told me nothing, just saying that Subarus burn oil.

Then, after a few weeks, one of my friends who also bought a vehicle here, to whom I’d referred this place, also tells me that their car is burning oil. SAME DEALERSHIP. TWO CARS. SAME ISSUE. And guess what, they also tell my friends the same thing, that Audis would burn oil.

We then researched and called OMVIC but we were already late at that point. We’re recent immigrants, we didn’t even know that OMVIC existed, let alone being mindful of calling them in time. So we went there and talked to them, still very nicely. All they told us was to make a claim with our warranty that we purchased. And the warranty company will not fix anything unless the engine is broken. If you know anything about cars you know how much damage that makes it to your car. Then we told them that we’d take them to court. After that they told us that they would consider taking the vehicles back, after paying for the months that we had access to the vehicle. We specifically confirmed that a few times, that it was not the trade in price, but payment for the access to the vehicle for a few months. They confirmed.

After two weeks, we went again. And these people offered us 6k trade in for my vehicle even though they assured us that they wouldn’t do that. 6k for a vehicle that this dealership sold me for over 20k not more than six months ago. And we were in constant communication during these six months. THEY KNEW EVERYTHING. They knew the car’s condition when they sold it to me. Or at least, when I took it to them, they should have told me, like the authorized service people did. Until I took the authorized Subaru service report to them, they denied everything.

Stay away from this dealership, our case is all you have to know to see how you’d be taken advantage of. I’m 20 years old, and I don’t know how I will pay this money while my car is getting worse each day. We will take them to court, and do everything to make sure this is fair for us. Beware, and stay away from these dirty disgusting place.

I had to make several trips (from London) back to the dealership because the radio wasn't working and there were aftermarket wires in the car I purchased (the dealer somehow missed all of this before completing the sale - what a joke). When I initially looked at the car I noticed the radio didn't work and was assured it would be fixed if I simply brought it back to the dealership. It took three separate trips for them to diagnose and actually fix the radio.

I also noticed there's a $200 referral reward on the back of their business cards but this was never brought up to myself or my dad who referred me.

They told me the car had just had an oil change. The oil was black and thick when I checked it after driving it home. Clearly they lied about that.

When I called to inquire about the car initially, I was told the car had all season tires. When I arrived, the car only had snow tires. The sales guy admitted his mistake and did nothing to rectify it.

The car had no dents in the photos on the website but I noticed the front right of the car was missing in the pictures. It had been in an accident and had damage in that exact spot when I arrived to look at it.

They come off as if they're super friendly but they don't care about their customers. They're the epitome of exactly why people hate used care salesman.

Save your money, save your time, go elsewhere.

Traded our car in there. Good price on trade in. Drove new car for a few weeks and had some electrical issues - they fixed them for us. Great that they stand by their 30 day warranty. Good cars, good people that work there. Their prices are more affordable than Toronto. We drove over from Etobicoke and it was worth it.

Jack is one hell of a guy! I called him about a car I was very interested in but couldn't purchase until the end of the month and he was kind enough to hold it for me. The staff were friendly and efficient when I arrived to pick it up and do the paperwork. The car is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier.

My car broke down and I took it to Automarket to get it fixed, unfortunately nothing could be done for my car so I ended speaking to Jack looking for a new car. Jack and Karolina were extremely helpful and quick to help me hop into my new jeep! The customer service was amazing and I will recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car.

They sold us a lemon that has serious warranty issues. They keep saying they'll fix the issues but haven't. I called today and Jack pretended like he had no idea who we were and denied we were even speaking with him about the issue. He was rude, dismissive and combative. We've been patient and kind but enough is enough. They've done nothing but lead us on and lie

After weeks of searching, I found exactly what I was looking for at exactly the right price. Zero pressure, zero hassle, and terrific service. Highly recommend if you're in the market for a quality pre-owned vehicle without the pressure. This was a great experience start to finish.

Purchased a 2015 wrx premium that seemed to be in great condition for a good price. On day 2 of ownership I noticed that the car didn’t seem to have the power it should on hard acceleration. Long story short the car had an extremely worn out clutch. I called about having it replaced and maybe getting some incentive towards the cost of parts and labour but they seemed hesitant. I know how dealerships can be so decided to replace the clutch myself to avoid the hassle. Kinda just disappointed I didn’t t notice this on the test drive before I signed.
I guess that’s what I get for buying a used Subaru
Other than that the people that work at the front desk and the finance manager were very nice people. Tom who sold me the car seemed to be really pushy and ignore my concern for the worn belt and dirty fluids i mentioned I wanted replaced.
I had also asked for a list of what had been replaced on the vehicle to pass safety and nothing was given.
When I went to pick up the car they seemed to want to get me in and out as fast as possible.
It’s been about 2 months since ownership now and have only put 3000kms on the car
I don’t drive it too hard and I follow all service recommendations. The car now makes this horrible knocking noise at about 2-3k rpm on light throttle. My only Suspicion is that low quality oil was used on the oil change before I bought it or my Subaru has just chosen its time to blow up.
The brakes also had 0 lube on them and the rears are wearing unevenly and will have to be replaced soon.

Bought a used car here over a year ago. They were great to work with, very easy sales process, respectful (not pushy or patronizing). My car had a minor issue (dead spark plug) pop up a day after purchase and they fixed it at no charge. Car has had no issues since and we have put about 30k km on it.

My family and I are so happy with our transaction with Auto market. We set an appointment same day and we were entertained by Brandy, Tom and Karolina. They are all nice. Tom let us check all our prospect cars without any pressure, he let us explore and gave us time to think and he let us test drive the car as long as we want. I recently purchased a 2017 Dodge Caravan from Auto Market. Tom was our salesman, he wasn't pushy, let me take my time deciding. He's got a great sense of humor, and is easy to relate to. Did I mention he's super friendly-the whole staff is! We were from 2 hours away, so we appreciated this. They have a great selection of reasonably priced vehicles. Purchased a car there 6weeks ago in June. They boasted about the top notch service and above grade safety inspection criteria they meet upon purchase. I asked for a service list of what was done to the vehicle to meet safety & was told it would be provided upon pick up. It wasn’t. I was given several excuses.

Then I went threw the car wash a week later and it revealed nearly a dozen rust spots on the hood, door and roof that they had concealed at time of purchase.

About 2 weeks after purchase the AC stopped working. I brought it in for that top notch service. They recharged it with Freon and told me they put a dye in it to determine where the leak was. 2more weeks passed and the AC stopped again. So I returned it to have the leak repaired. Instead they recharged the sysytem again. Said they didn’t. And told me they couldn’t find a leak and the AC was working perfectly. It’s apparent they have no interest in fixing the car and will only continue to recharge the system until the temperature cools and the AC will not be needed.

Their customer service is awful. They meet all criteria for shady used car saleman. I highly recommend seeking business elsewhere. I have now traded in this car for another vehicle that’s in proper working condition at a hefty loss because of their deceitful sales and service tactics.

Most professional and personalized Car Dealership ever. From initial contact with Jack, our salesman, to the financing by Karolina, we were treated like part of their family. They all made it such an easy experience. Thanks especially to Karolina for staying around extra late when we got stuck in traffic going there. Definitely would use them again in the future.

I got the car which I wanted at best rate at AutoMarket. All the staff members are thorough professional and helpful. Especially Karolina. She helped me find to find best option with excellent financing. They did the service of car before the delivery which made it difficult to recognize if it was a pre owned car. Thumbs up!

Everyone was very helpful and direct. I had no sense that anyone was trying to push me in a different direction, nor was anyone in any way disrespectful. I took the test drive alone and appreciated that. My Cooper was ready earlier than I'd been promised, and is resting quite nicely in my parking space at home. I love it!

If you want celebrity service on blue collar wages this is the place to go. What a great experience! Small town family run feeling at AutoMarket. I even saw Toms kids. I think.salting the lot as it was covered in ice when we went to pick up my daughters car. These folks are as straight up honest as it gets and I have to say that if you are not happy here you wont be happy anywhere. I plan to buy from them again.

Great service from Tom and the whole sales staff, very helpful and easy to deal with. We love our new to us Ford Explorer and we received a very fair deal on our trade in. It was a pleasure buying from AM. I think our only complaint was we pulled out of the place after purchase and the tank was low on gas, we had a drive back to Hamilton so that was disappointing that there wasn't a fuller tank when purchased, also a few minutes down the rode the one tire light came on for low pressure which we had to take care of as well, neither too big of a deal though. Also a bit disappointed we weren't told we only had one fob for the vehicle but again very minor, we will have to purchase a second one. Would definitely look to them for a future vehicle!

One of the worst experiences at purchasing a vehicle. They safetied my sons car without a muffler and sold it to us as a ‘performance exhaust’. Cost us an infraction and a muffler that should have been there, when we drive off the lot! Shame on you AutoMarket!

Bad experience. They didn't address the issues I brought up after the test drive. I drove the car home with no air conditioning and a rattle in the exhaust. Very obvious issues. Upon picking the vehicle up they handed me a single broken key. Yes you heard that right. It's not a big deal to not get 2 sets of keys. But when they hand you one and it's PHYSICALLY BROKEN. It can't even be hung on a Keychain. It just shows that their business model is bottom line over quality or customer satisfaction. Very disappointing. It's Kyle that picked up the subaru 3 days ago. Your manager knows of my complaints. The sales people will be wrll aware there was only one key and it was broken. They had a sticky tag stuck to it so they could hang it.so now that you can identify who I am. You can edit your response to say.oh ya ok we did do that to him.

Went in for an estimate for my Prius (that I was hoping to sell) and, they said it will take a lot of effort to sell it. Offered me a price of 5.5k. Went elsewhere and was able to sell the car for 8.5k. I don't think these guys know how to estimate the value OR they were just low balling.

Salesman was very personable and reasonable. Paid a fair price for the vehicle I got. Overall quite satisfied and would recommend taking a look at this dealer.

Interesting experience with AutoMarket Service located at 700 York Rd, Guelph, to say the least!

On April 1st, 2021, I went to the AMS garage to inquire about a potential financing of wheels for my Accord. After meeting the sales person and discussing my needs and their products, I proceeded to order a set of 4 FastFC Bronze 19 inch wheels and 4 Farroad 225/35/r19 tires for a grand total of ~$2200 payable over a period of 10 months. The price included also alignment, installation, and balancing. On April 8th, 2021, I went to AMS to have the wheels installed.and serviced as per our agreement.

On May 17th 2021, I happened to notice that one of my front new tires was flat, I took it off to inspect it for punctures. I also inspected the other front new tire as well. To my surprise, I found that both front tires were completely bald, with the passenger side front tire having exposed wiring, which could have resulted in a serious accident. On May 18, I contacted by phone the same sales person at ATS to let him know the situation in order to have the two tires replaced.
Over the phone, the sales person told me to bring the car in to have both faulty tires replaced at no additional cost to me; the sales person also told me that he would order 2 replacement front tires and have them installed on my car as quickly as possible. During the call, the sales person told me that the cause of the tires wear was due to the lack of tire alignment on my car, which his company had not done, even though the price included an alignment. When I forwarded the sales person the email showing that I had specifically asked for an alignment, he suddenly changed his story and said that they did do an alignment, but that they were still willing to replace the 2 front tire because their alignment machine might have provided faulty results at the time of the alignment (?). On May 20th, I drove to AMS to have the two faulty tires replaced by them, as it was agreed over the phone; however, when I got there, the sales person baselessly accused me of having worn the tires out by way of "burnouts" and "reverse donuts", saying that I had driven recklessly and that his company will not paid for the 2 faulty tires. I was shocked at this accusation and at their convenient change of their version (NOTE: I drive a sub 220 HP FWD vehicle with spacers, meaning that a burnout of any sort is not easily possible nor desired). Interesting enough, during my previous phone call on May 18, I offered to send pictures of the defective tires via email, however the sales person declined my offer. When I heard the accusation against me, I asked the sales person to explain to me why the tires experienced different levels of wear, as the driver front tire was less worn than the passenger front. Unable to answer my question, the sales person, together with the manager on duty, simply continued to accuse me of doing burnouts, and even suggested that I just buy 2 additional new tires new tires from them! I refused to argue any further and simply drove off. Conclusion: I am now forced to spend another $700 on 2 new front tires.
Every piece of evidence I have of my communications with AMS, via email, phone call, and FB messenger, shows the sales person admitting that they did not align the vehicle properly, and that they had agreed to replace the 2 faulty tires at their cost. Upon my arrival to their shop they sang a different tune. I do not recommend anyone doing business at AUTO MARKET SERVICE in Guelph.as this garage is clearly failing to acknowledge their safety-related responsibilities when selling products to their customer.

Just had my car delevered from AmAuto Market and I have to say a big thanks to everyone that made buying a vehicle so great of a experience. Everyone went that extra mile to get the deal done. You need to be very careful when dealing with this company, they are misleading information, and do not stand by what they say. I formerly requested to not be added to the vehicle as it was not my purchase.
Yet they mislead and refused to reimburse deposit after less than 16 hours had passed even though they claimed to have another buyer for said vehicle.

Fantastic experience with AutoMarket in Guelph! Took home my 2014 Tiguan today and had such a pleasant interaction with everyone in the dealership!
