Avani Event Centre

We held pre-wedding event for my daughter in November.
We are grateful to the team (Marco, Arya and team) for making the day a memorable one. From the food, to the room set up, to the bar, all details were handled with care and planned diligently by the team. We have guests still talking (raving) about the delicious food that was served (both appetizer and dinner) including anti pasto, which was a hit as well. I especially liked the Chicken tikka appetizer. From the bar, Chris and team (including Bavani) provided excellent service with a smile.
I would recommend this venue for hosting an event.

Marco and nankie were absolutely amazing and helpful throughout the process. Nankie really helped deliver everything up until the day of the reception. Foood, venue and staff were all amazing. I would highly recommend borgata for any events!

The food.most of it was delicious, what they did to the steak though, should be criminal. Should've served burgers instead of steak cooked like that.

Tabletops felt like they were made of cardboard.

I'd like to finish off by saying the place overall is clean, looks modern, and the staff was nice enough. They tried.

Aside from the food and tabletops critique, which is intended more for the event centre, I would recommend this place and make note of the steak wrapped in bacon. I would avoid it if that's how they typically serve it. It was THAT bad.

We used both ballrooms for our Wedding Ceremony & Wedding Reception recently. The entire team was very supportive and accommodating. All the way from budget, accommodating food restrictions, and floor plans! We couldn't have went with a better vendor. Multiple family members complimented the venue which fills us with joy given all of the work we spent finding the right venue!

We were absolutely blown away by the Borgata Event Centre as our reception venue. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, bathed in natural light, we knew we had found something truly special. The modern and clean design of the main ballroom added a touch of sophistication to our event.

However, what truly set the Borgata Event Centre apart was the food! As longtime fans of Avani, treating our guests to their exceptional food was a dream come true. The flavors and presentation exceeded all expectations, and even now, people are still raving about the mouthwatering dining experience.

Beyond the beauty of the hall and amazing food, the sales and event team at the Borgata Event Centre (particularly Marco and Nankie) made our journey seamless and stress-free. Nankie's exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail during our final details meeting left us with an immense sense of confidence. Knowing that we were in the hands of such capable professionals allowed us to fully enjoy our special day without any worries.

We wholeheartedly recommend the Borgata Event Centre as a top-choice wedding venue. Its elegance, culinary delights, and outstanding service make it a winning combination for any couple seeking an unforgettable wedding celebration.

Beautiful venue for wedding or any special events. The staff is very polite and kind. I recently had my wedding there. Marco and Nanki have been amazing. They are prompt with their responses and helpful. I am glad I chose Borgata as my wedding venue. 10/10 recommend.

I was looking for a modern and affordable venue for my Baby Shower and Borgata did not dissapoint! The hall is beautiful, The coordinator Arya was a great help, sweet and very professional. If I could give more stars I would! My sister and I hosted my brothers 60th birthday at this lovely hall. Not realizing that the owners & staff were even more lovely, we had to reschedule our event due to a death in the family - everyone at the hall were supportive, understanding and accommodating!

Nankie & Ariya were our POC's - their assistance, attention to detail and response time was impeccable. The day of the event they made sure everything went smoothly and got us things during the event that we forgot to bring. They truly went over and above.

The owners - Marco & Victoria - they went over and above in assisting us in the set up process and actually physically assisted us in moving things around!

The FOOD - OMG, was amazing - our guests could not stop complementing the food! From the appetizers to the late night poutine station! Guest called the next day to ask if we had left overs lol!

The Hall itself, absolutely perfect - elegant decor just very classy!
The waitstaff - WOW, they were friendly and made SURE that everyone got served, ESPECIALLY the family!

We had an absolutely amazing time, it was smooth & we all had a lot of fun!

Great venue for a surprise party! Lots of parking, clean and elegant interior. Staff was always busy making sure tables were cleaned and very accommodating. Wonderful variety of food! I was impressed.

What a wonderful experience it was dealing with the entire Avani team @ Borgata. Was my parents 50th wedding anniversary and it went off perfectly. From the moment we met with Marco through to the details with Nankie & Arya on the decor side it was an extremely pleasant experience. The staff was accommodating, helped with some personal touches and added to our menu after the fact no questions asked. The food itself came prepared nicely, the presentation was executed perfectly, the food was served hot and the drinks were flowing all night long. All 100+ guests really enjoyed the food, taste and service and as I mentioned served promptly and hot! So important. I would highly recommend anyone who’s looking to do something special, think fo Borgata and Avani team for your next event! I know I will, Melissa, Rosemary and Dom R.

Borgata hosts two business galas for our annually and we always have an excellent experience. From the planning process, amazing food, friendly staff and stunning venue we always receive the best compliments after our events from our guest. We highly recommend for anything from family parties to business events.

Noel is an amazing mixologist. We attended a wedding at this venue and Noel did a great job at suggested drinks and ensuring we had a great time. Great venue, great service! Noel will take care of you!

Do not cater to people in a wheelchair. Called several times go ask for assistance and no one bothered to call back.

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the food. The food wasn't that great. My chicken was uncooked and was inedible. It seemed like they didn't care about the quality of their service. I ended up leaving the event early.

My fiancé and I hosted our stag and doe here recently. From start to finish it was a refreshingly simple process and we had support throughout the entire time before and during the event. Marco was absolutely the sweetest and helped us with all our inquires before booking and Nankie was wonderful with helping everything run smoothly and being so accommodating. There was a few hiccups the day of before the event started but Nankie was quick to fix all issues for us before the start time. I will be booking with this venue and team any time I need a banquet hall! The bar staff were also amazing and worked well under the pressure of all the guests crowding around. The wait staff were very efficient and the food was phenomenal. The venue is very clean and pretty and we really struck gold by booking with them!

Marco, Cristalyne and their team were amazing. We originally planned our wedding in 2020 and Marco was flexible and patient with us as we postponed our reception 4 times! As we were planning our wedding this year, Marco continued to be flexible and accommodating to ensure that my husband and I's vision for our reception were met. The venue is beautiful and the food was AMAZING!
