Avani Indian Bistro Brampton

I can't say enough about this restaurant! I ordered catering for a business lunch and received so many compliments from my team. A week later the team was back in Brampton and decided that we absolutely needed to visit Avani for dinner! I think we were all dreaming about the food! At the restaurant our server was attentive without being obtrusive, and made us feel very welcomed. The food was divine! All dishes were flavourful, well prepared and presented very nicely. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you Avani! See you again!

Our experience was just awesome. Every food was superb and delicious. The crispy chili corn was too good. I have not eaten such nicely prepared corn in GTA yet. The staffs are kind and professional. I wish to visit this place again and again.

Thanks to my Indian friends I finally got some decent Indian food in Toronto. The food was spicy and delicious, and served hot and fresh in nice dishes. It was a bit pricey, but worth it

If you would like to experience tasty and delicious food then Avani at North park Brompton is the place, must try. Their Momo’s, Sizzling soya chaap, Gobi65 and many more are there to gratify your belly. Our Server Gurleen, she was very polite and professional in terms of customer service. Our food had some issue and she immediately responded with fresh food without even asking! What else you want, if a place where your needs are catered that’s why it’s one of my favourite place for dine-in. Cheers

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool the staff is also really friendly. Food is pretty good and Kir was the server who was best!

Excellent service. The lady who served was very patient and got our orders correct despite the many changes we made. Food was delicious and wonderful ambience. Highly recommend. Look forward to returning.

The snacks are good but the main course is just okayish. The ambience is nice but the main course ruined it for us.

Overall an amazing experience with the family and friends. The chef here has real talent and the service is top notch. My family goes here for most of our milestones.

Food was fantastic, but they can work on customer service and also check up on customers how they’re food was.

I have been Avani Heartland location fan for many years. This was my first visit to the new location. It is a restaurant with great ambiance. Our server, Aman, she is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We spent over 3 hours for dinner, from serving appetizers to our desserts, she delivered exceptional hospitality. The food was amazing; presentation, fresh ingredients, and flavors. Must try restaurant!

Great food, and even better service! Our server, Kiran, was amazing and provided great service. We will definitely be returning because of him.

Honestly just name and fame. I went there as I had heard alot about it and I really dint like the food. I had the kadhai paneer and Naan.

Food quality is not bad (7/10), but the quantity as per the price is very low. Not worth the money and wait for the food.

Suggest to visit other restaurants instead.

Food and service both were epic. But I think the background music should be changed, its so slow that you can sleep there.

Only tried their naan. For 5 dollars per naan, much was expected. But it was poorly flavored and chewy. I rate this one star because it feels like I was robbed paying 20 dollars for 3 naans which were poor quality. I could get wayyy better naan for less than half the price, this is Brampton.

Step up your game Avani.

Great service- our server Sukh was very kind and knowledgeable. Food- we had chili paneer, chicken momos and chaat paper. Rogan josh and shahi paneer for dinner. Flavour- on point for the most part, momos were a bit bland and just spicy. Raita had some sort of thickener added and was sweet. Portion size- definitely smaller than comparable restaurants. Overall- good experience.

We went there on a Friday for early dinner. Staff was very attentive. Food quality was great. We ordered:

Chicken sampler: 4/5 Probably the least favorite of our order because the marination was only done from the top, so flavor wise it all tasted the same.

Butter chicken: 4.5/5

Dal makhani: 5/5

Garlic Naan: 5/5

Lacha parantha: 4/5

Overall it felt value for money specially when we have spend same amounts at some horrible food. In the end we came out as a satisfied customer.

Had an amazing experience in Avani. Ordered first the Pappadums and the Soup which was a good starter. A special mention for the Chicken Palak, my favorite, extremely tasteful. I would very much recommend ordering it, with less cream, and with the Roomali Roti ️. Also had the Salmon Tikka, very tender and perfectly cooked.
The staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate to my diet. First time being in Avani and hopefully not the last.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been too. Classy, polite, and professional staff. The ambiance is very nice as well. Great customer service, and excellent food. Shahi Paneer & Chicken Biryani were menu highlights for my table.

The food is overpriced and tastes just ok ok. Very very long waiting time.if you have the patience to wait at least 45-60mins for your food to be served, then visit their. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. Not at all welcoming. I will never visit again.

Visited the place with family for dinner. The place was full and you may need to wait on weekend.

There are quite big sitting space inside as well as some space outdoor. Here is my food list:

Why one star less?

The place is accessible but could not difficult to move for people with special needs. Washroom is also small given the numbers of sitting space and not accessible.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. So full mark to them. However, it may take time in food preparation and you may need to wait for 20-25 mins for your food.

Other thing, I found this place little pricy. Our bill was $88 including tips. The minimum tip amount is 18% (I opted for 21%). It can be good options for special occasion.

Nice Indian and Chinese food. I had lunch here. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy Indian dishes. It was a bit expensive but tasty. The service was good and the waiters were friendly. If you want to get a booze with some Indian starters, this is the place. Enjoy the nice ambiance!

Garry Sandhu, manager of the Brampton Avani branch did an excellent job catering for our wedding and reception at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax. His professionalism and coordination was exemplary and the food was amazing! The food was delicious and all of our guests were extremely happy!

Went to Avani Brampton for 5 people, they had the tip included in the bill itself and marked table of 6 and pointed us to the machine to pay the final amount again reflecting the "Add Tip" option, I accidentally saw that later in the receipt - Once including the tip in the bill and not telling us while we are paying the same and again pointing us to include the tip - WRONG, doesn't matter how good your service is - its more of breaking the trust as I paid TIP twice accidentally. I don't mind paying even triple provided they showed honesty and transparency. Never going again due to this unethical behavior.

Great food. Amazing new variety seen. The staff is also very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the restaurants menu, which dish is popular and chefs speciality. They gave a high chair for my toddler and a plastic cup with straw for her to drink through without us asking for it - that was very thoughtful of them! Nice Indian restaurant with great ambiance… Sukh served us both the times we went there, We ordered Gobhi 65 and some other main course dishes, everything were mouth-watering tastes so good.
We will definitely be back Sukh…

Came here with my family, on a busy Saturday evening. We were extremely happy with the service and food quality. We ordered chicken momos, tandori chicken, curry and naan. All were good, specially the momos and tandori chicken.

I been with my wife and kid they are respectful. Their food is delicious and their service is also fast i didn't have to wait for long time for my food. They really care about their customer service for fine dine-in it's best place.

Our visit on Dec 11 brought shocking experience when we said that we have reservation. Person at the counter asked for confirmation code which was never received by us when we booked and he was not ready to believe that. Since this was the staff annual party we have to plan in advance and no one will go without booking. We end up waiting for 45 minutes even though we booked. I hope this doesn't happen with anyone!
Food and service was fine.

EDIT: Dropped a Star because the service was not as good as Mississauga. Servers are snobby too. Not smart when you work for tips.

Stopped by when I saw this place open up. Great ambiance and took some take out home which had great flavor and quantity. Food takes a few minutes to prepare but it was definitely worth it. Will be more frequent visitor when it opens up fully and even a patio looks like it's coming.

One of the best Indian cousins in Brampton. I’ve tried food at so many cousins and restaurants but I found this one’s the best. Good quality, delicious food. Great customer service as well. Only cons is you will see the prices in menu is little much more compared to other restaurants.

My wife and I love it. These people are great! I even asked for the receipt that was 4 weeks ago and they gave it to me. Not a single.restaurant I know has that kind of recordkeeping. Thanks team! Always appreciate the hard work

I have given 1 star just because their is no option for less than that. I ordered chicken momo’s because on menu it says hand made momos. But i was so disappointed to see regular chicken dumplings that i usually get from superstore for $3. And here it cost me $17.

Today i went here for first time. I ordered 3 things there.
1. Mixed tandoori platter (veg) - taste was good, but the quantity was very less as compared to price.
2. Veg Hakka noodles- taste was very mediocre.please use thin noodles instead of thick ones.
3. Veg Manchurian - most disappointed from this dish. Manchurian balls were uncooked and there was too much salt in the gravy.
I litterly threw Manchurian in the bin.
Taste and quantity not worth the price.
Also i will give 4 stars for the ambience and environment.

Restaurant is owned by a bunch of dirty dipper fresh of the boat who support hitting woman to make themselves feel like men& there food is gross wouldnt make my worse enemy eat the food

Went to this place last week, they have very amazing food and ambience.
Hospitality is not upto the mark though.
But talking about food, i liked it very much.
Service is slow.
We ordered chaap, tandoori chicken, salt lassi, momos and tandoori gobi
Must try their tandoori gobi.

Had heard a lot about the restaurant so thought of trying but is was a complete disaster n I can explain how
1) poor ambiance
2) no value for money
3) below average taste
4) over priced
5) poor quantity as per what’s been charged
6) average service

Would not recommend. I was shocked when the bill came. We never paid so much even when we visited fine dine restaurant

Went there for the first time. Food was ok, Service was bad and prices were outrageous according to the standard and portion size. Over hyped restaurant don't know why people are giving 5 stars.

I had a great experience. The food was delicious and sukh treated us very well and her service timing was very good. I recommend everyone to come and hv delicious food.

My family knows avani owners and they recommended this place so we all went for dinner. It was my first visit, and we all liked their food both quality and quantity wise.

Best tasting Palak Paneer, Chilly Paneer and Save yourself some room for their Dessert, Coconut Fried IceCream

Decided to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and so was the ambiance! Even though the rotis we got at first were hard, they changed it right away.
Would visit again!
