Don't see Dr Jason Ko, he does not take all health issues seriously. He just tells me to lose weight before we can look at other issues (he thinks it is all being caused by being overweight). He ignores worsening symptoms and those that are unusual for me. I feel my health has not been taken seriously due to medical fat-phobia.

This place is a Horrific Joke.

Dr Tepperman and the nurses are good.

However, I had came to this office multiple times within the last year with constant bleeding. I did multiple ultrasounds where I myself had seen things that I knew were wrong.

It took me one visit to my doctor in Trinidad to see that I had cysts in my ovaries and that my Uterine lining was 1.65 thick when it’s only supposed to be less than half that number.

Unfortunately, I was told there really is nothing else Tepperman could have done and was put on a wait list to see a fertility doctor.

Honestly it is what it is, but I’m happy I came and got another evaluation in a whole different country because canadas doctors never seem to take anything seriously. I have a D&C scheduled for next week to test the tissues.

Somedays I really wonder what is going on here. My doctor is fine but my issues are with the reception & switchboard.

Absolutely useless and UNPROFESSIONAL! Been a patient of this place since birth! Our family dr up and left. My family, my kids are left not only with no family doctor but they have also said we're not allowed to use the walk in clinic in the process of finding a new family dr!

Absolutely terrible clinic! Doctors don’t do their job, doesn’t follow up, doesn’t send required (VIP) referrals for months some over a yr still waiting. Leaves patients on wrong medication (anti depressants) and doesn’t monitor new meds or follow up. Clinic manager ignores complaints and doesn’t do her job either then refuses to return calls or emails for months. Their solution to any issues within the clinic is “go find a new clinic somewhere else if you don’t like it” smh. Absolutely atrocious clinic all around. The doctors don’t even want to stay at this clinic and is literally a revolving door of doctors coming name going and I don’t blame them.

I went here for obgyn last week for an appointment that was suppose to be quick and didn't get in till 2 hours after my appointment (when i was done it was a ghost town in the waiting room). People who showed up after me that had the same ob as me got in to see her before me and I had my baby with me. They were great when i was pregnant but now they just don't care. I will most likely not being coming back in the future unless it's for blood work cause at least they can keep track of the appointments and walk ins they have.

This used to be good but now it's weeks out just for a phone appointment. Doctors don't care and just herd you on amd off the phone. If you are seeking a doctor, look elsewhere.

I find the Avenue Medical Centre provides convenient all in one building Care; On site Parking, Pharmacy, laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Gynaecology, Family Physicians & Nursing Staff. The centre is well maintained with recent updates and cleaned thoroughly.
I personally find the staff at the Avenue Medical Centre to be welcoming, polite, generally friendly and the Dr.s to be highly Competent! The nurse is excellent with babies and children.
I have attended this clinic for 37 years and the only Challenge at times is the turn over of receptionists in more recent years. However, there are some original staff remaining and they hold the ship a float well with how busy this clinic is well training new staff.
I used the online booking system easy to use and convenient, well on the go!

This Dr. Office is excellent, clean, friendly helpful staff, pharmacy onsite, online booking system and great protocols in place!

Great doctor's, absolutely terrible admin and management staff. This clinic is a prime example of why our Healthcare industry needs to go 100% privatized. There is zero sense of urgency, zero patient care, they are rude but you can't give it back to them so essentially they are hypocritical. I have been with this clinic for nearly 30 years and the admin staff have always been a problem. It's a shame there is such a shortage of MD's as I would love to see this clinic go out of business due to patients going elsewhere. You know there's an issue with patient care when the clinic's own automated system has to tell you repeatedly (twice in a row every few minutes on hold) that they will not tolerate "abusive behavior" toward staff.

Reception hung up on me 2 times after waiting over half an hour. The first call, someone said "hello" then hung up as I started speaking.

Worst experience ever. Never get Dr Rachna Bharti there as your doctor. Clinic is more focussed on keeping the reception desk happy. Should rename themselves to Revenue Medical centre rather than Avenue.

Went for annual checkup, no blood work, nothing done. They don’t even have records and neither bother getting it from previous doctor. Lodging complaint with CPSO

Especially Dr. Bharti, she sits in Grimsby 3 days of the week and you don’t get any appointment before a month. On days that you get one, all you get is advice on how to keep reception desk happy coz they give you bookings.

Please don’t even bother talking to their reception as they are shamelessly unhelpful and rude. Never recommended to anyone as they will make you ill rather than treating you.

I’ve had really good experiences here. Our family doctor is amazing, and I’m so thankful to the team for ensuring that our family has the medical care they need.

The building Is really outdated & falling apart, Dr's offices are cluttered with food & junk, staff is not friendly, hobos have a home at the side of the building & bothering people for money on a regular. It's time for me to find a new DR. Stay away from this dump

I understand that other people have had bad experiences, they are more than entitled to complain. However, I have had good experiences with both the staff and my family doctor. Please remember that they are overworked and understaffed. The medical care system got absolutely strained in these past few years. I really don't want to place the blame on the workers as they are just like us doing a job.

Extremely slow and not very friendly. Both visits I waited 2 hours to see the doctor. I’m a single parent with 2 kids, 1 headed to university. I can’t afford to lose 2 hours of pay because appointments aren’t scheduled properly.

I love my doctor here. Everyone is very nice and efficient. I've never had to wait longer then 5 mins for my appointment. I value how thorough everyone is. Very warm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend.

My rating is actually a negative star for Dr. Cowans office. I had some major medical issues I needed looked at. Doctor Cowans office lost my paper work twice and I had to chase them for 3 months. They also refused to call my doctors office so I played the middle man until my doctor's office started contacting them. After they found my paperwork they told me I would have to wait a year to get in. The lady on the phone had not one ounce of care in her voice. I ended up telling them to forget everything and I called my doctors office back. They got a hold of an actual professional gynecologist out of town and I got an appointment within two months. My advice is, go out of town.

I went to the doctor to get my tubes tied, convinced me to get the depo shot instead, well i bled for 106 days, they tried the pill for a month, i bled. Started april its now almost December.ive maybe not bled for three weeks if im lucky. I have a blood clot im my arm now, and im bleeding for days on blood thinners, emergency says im healthy they tell me im fine, your in the happy business of babies, Thanks so much. Your the worst kind of doctor…pass the buck im on my own

I’ve been going here for 32 years. Never had an issue. Clean place good people. Only thing that I don’t like is the same day appointment that’s why a 4 star

Very happy with my family Doctor. The staff are friendly. They should have a change machine for the parking. But overall, good service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Rizk stays home and hides behind his chair because he is scared of covid. Shouldn't a Dr be the first person to not hide. They are called Dr's to give care to patients, not talk to them on the phone. Very unprofessional
