Don’t ever rent from these scammers! I bought full insurance from them and got into a car accident. Following that, their rep contacted me and said that they will not cover anything! This is absolutely outrageous! Other than that, their customer service is horrible. The staff is very inhospitable and incompetent.

If you rent a car from this company, they give you a gift. A really big one. In fact, I'm the stupid.
I was foolish to inspect only the exterior condition. While driving back to the accommodation after renting the car, a strange smell started from somewhere. The moment I opened the rear door, I was shocked. There was a big garbage bag. I, foolishly, immediately threw the garbage into the trash bin without taking a photo of the back seat as evidence. The garbage bag had some unidentifiable gooey stuff in it, so I cautiously (or not?) reached in and threw it away. It's clearly my fault. When renting a car, you should not only carefully inspect the exterior but also check the interior thoroughly.

A friend of mine recommended that I rent a car from AVIS. So overall price was competitive and I got an extra 10% when I booked a medium car in advance and paid online. When I went to pick it up, I had several punches in my face:
1. The car was dirty inside out. I got like several bugs bites.
2. The dash dashboard had a warning reading: oil change is due now!
3. The gas wasn't really full
4. They had only one car: VW Golf, very small trunk to the point made me questioning the size of the car: small or medium?
5. The sales representative took my credit card and held $350 as a security deposit without telling me!
I would never recommend this branch to anyone.

Very bad experience, very confused/low-capacity staff, no understanding of customer appreciation at all.
1. Made me wait for 30+ minutes because they weren't able to figure out how to not include the paid insurance, had to call and facetime with a co-worker to figure it out.
2. Got my drivers license from me, but didn't give it back. When I asked for it back, they said they don't have it. After searching around, they finally found it in their garbage can!
3. They asked if I want a Corolla or Elantra, I said Elantra, and they misheard me and gave me the Corolla.

Horrible customer service! Don’t ever go to this location.
They provide a rental rate over call and then they backtrack saying that the car is not available at the provided rate. The manager is rude and makes up his own rules just to make some extra money. Dont ever go to this location. The manager / owner is single handedly spoiling the brand experience.

Horrible experience with the sheppard branch.extremely rude and unprofessional owner / manager. When asked to include company discounts they refused to apply it after promising on the call that they it will be applicable. He suddenly came up with some rules to make more money out of us.they are really spoiling the avis experience and they management of the branch should definitely be changed if avis cares about its image.

The indian middle aged guy is rude and shouts at you if there is a minor issue with the booking process. Will never get a car from this location from now on.

High quality of cars, easy to access location, fair prices, and welcoming and supportive staff. It is an excellent car rental in North York.
