Just ordered from uber eats, they were missing 3 out of 4 items, and even gave a wrong drink. Like what are you doing?

Says it closes at 4 am, I got there at 11: 30 and the neon sign still said open, however the doors were locked and when I knocked, the two workers tried to avoid my line of sight. Another customer arrived shortly after me, also under the impression that they were still open. Highly unprofessional and I will not be coming back.

Good value for money breakfast. Enjoyed eating this outside in the sunshine opposite the restaurant in the market square.

Food is always fresh, and the people behind the counter tend to be on the happy-service-side of their work days. Thank you for that, so keep smiling! Can still grab a spot inside to dine in, and the interior tells a story. Nice franchise and location. Open late too!

Service was ok, just extremely slow, half an hour waiting for english muffin combo 1 Cashier 1 Cook is not enough for such a busy and touristy area. Taste was good, and the whasroom was clean, only one thought.

Friendly and helpful staff in a wonderful location downtown. Saw the manager go out of his way to see that a father and child were treated very well.

Best customer service in town I've ever experienced in a fast food restaurant.
I thought I ordered fries. But I could have ordered onion rings by accident. They gave me my fries and never questioned it.

None of the staff wash their hands after handling raw meat or money then make your food, plus they are rude to customers. Owner doesn't care. Will not return. Yuck

Went by 12: 30 Thursday night and there was an unhoused man sitting inside the inner doors smoking, with his possessions scattered by the door, who yelled at my girlfriend and I that they were closed. Tried to go past and he yelled at me for pushing his pipe and other items. Employee inside then came towards the door and made a closed gesture.

Having the unhoused in that area has never bothered us, but someone yelling and smoking inside the door of the restaurant, instead of putting up a closed sign on the door is entirely unacceptable. Especially when it's posted hours are until 4am. The smoking alone is a huge issue

Pretty convenient location, and super cool looking building. I guess I came in when the dine-in was closed, since I was told I wasn’t allowed to eat inside while my friends were ordering. The onion rings were great

The staff are rude, and liars. We ordered the all canadian breakfast and didn’t offer the coffee that came with it but made us order a separate coffee and charged us for it. We then asked and they lied saying that we didn’t order the all canadian breakfast that came with sausage. Absolute joke.

Literally the WORST a&w in Kingston. Do not order from here.
Cannot follow simple instructions to remove toppings.takes about 25minutes to get your food when ordering in the restaurant.
When ordered online food comes with the wrong toppings. When allergies are written in they are complete ignored and I cannot eat the food, the worst part is this happens in person too and the staff laughs when told the food has been made wrong.
Staff thinks it is funny when asked to remake. Absolutely horrible service, not once have I ever received my order made correctly.
Burned food 90% of the time, best advice is to order from literally any other one.staff does not clean the tables and food is handled with bare hands, absolutely disgusting.
Watched a staff member take cash from a customer and walk back and make the food without washing their hands.

Legitmately the best Buddy Burger I have ever gotten from an A&W including the classic drive in locations. The modern interior looks slick and clean.

I just waited in line for five minutes and there was nobody ahead of me they didn’t even acknowledge I was there I had to go outside get into my truck and go get into the drive-through

Just ordered an uber order for me an my buddies BUT missed out on TWO items. Tried calling twice but got taken directly to voice mail which was nice. The onion rings were more like onions with crumbs all over them and were not the best. Because it’s the first mistake we’ve encountered, I will rate them with 3 stars, however, if this continues on, this review will change. More to follow in the future.

Normally I love A&W but this place is dirty. Thy guy preparing the food who we found out is the owner, is not wearing gloves and touches everything including his mask, glasses and food (cooked and uncooked) and doesn’t wash his hands.
It also took forever to get our 2 breakfast sandwiches.
It was really disgusting watching him prepare food for the 15 minutes it took to get our breakfast, and the place was not busy.

Love A&W but this particular location has gotten my order wrong at least 4 times since I moved here in September. They keep giving me beef burgers instead of the beyond meat burgers I order.

Food otherwise tastes good but I cannot get over this issue.

I posted a few weeks ago about a very bad experience I had with a member of the staff at this establishment and I was very pleasantly surprised when a&w actually asked me more about what happened and got me in contact with the owner of the store. Since then, I have been told that the employee with whom I had that issue has been reprimanded, and I also received a free meal courtesy of the owner. I have to say I did not expect this type of response but I thought I would change my review because it does show that they care about customer experiences.

One male worker, over 6 feet tall, with long brown hair tied in a pony tail WAS NOT WEARING A MASK. Didn't even have one on his chin

Honestly I don’t know what’s up with fast food costing so much in Canada, you can get ‘5 guys burgers and fries’ for the same price as like any burger at mcdolands or Wendy’s and it’s the same price but 5 guys will be 200% better than whatever you bought.

I went here at night on labor Day to get burgers. The girl behind the counter had no interest in serving me or my 2 friends. Kept playing with the stupid tablet entering online orders. As soon as the skip guy shows up she lot up to serve him. Me and my 2 friends, complete ignored. I'd say just walk up the street to McDonald's little service window. You'll be served and eating promptly. I think A&W needs to gtfo of downtown Kingston

I've visited this chain in multiple cities. This is inline with the brand. No complaints. One of more reasonable priced options in the city.

Good option if you want to eat something fast and affordable. Well located too, in the main square.

The A& W in Kingston near City Hall always gets my gluten-free Burger / lettuce wrapped perfectly correct.

I have never had an issue whatsoever.

Clean environment, missed filling the drink machine properly and my root beer was sad. The snack wraps are extremely small for their value. Thank you for caring about our environment with paper straws and other local products

Can’t do delivery order properly. No tomato but got tomato on both burgers, requested uncle sauce instead of mustard and got neither. Didn’t even bother eating, wasted my money.

Received terrible food, asked for a sprite in replacement of the chocolate milk, and didn’t receive my main drink. Onion rings were so soggy they were losing batter, and I could see the grease on it, and it soaked through the bag. The amount of salt on the fries could probably supply a small town. Never going back. Do not recommend. Go to the A&W on princess. Terrible. Absolutely terrible.

This place is terrible at getting delievery orders correctly. Never the right items. I have a feeling their system with uber eats is set up incorrectly. Only go here if you're downtown and you go inside to order. If you do it that way it's just a basic A&W which I normally give about 3 stars.

This staff is always super friendly. Never had an issue with order accuracy, and I visit 1x weekly.

A unique location; it features a single unisex washroom, and limited seating. Oddly they advertise you can get REAL cheddar cheese on your burger. I asked what the alternative was, but alas they don't offer any fake cheeses. This seems entirely redundant in terms of marketing, but the staff has a great sense of humor about it.

Please go in and ask for the fake cheddar. The reaction is priceless.

A and w food is pretty consistent no mater where u are.and for fast food it is pretty good. But here I asked for extra ketchup.and when I got back to my place to eat it there was so many ketchup packages. Usually they give u like two or four extra.but this guy loaded me up.and I used every package. I was thankful for that.

I presume that my horrible experience was with the manager on my last two visits. I received horrific custom service. I was very polite in explaining my allergy to a staff via the drive through, as I have at numerous locations. Another female staff came barking onto the speaker about allergies that don’t pertain to mine in a very rude tone. I was made to feel that my allergy was an utter inconvenience to modify my order on both occasions. I was even over charged on the second visit. I really felt uncomfortable the first time but figured during this pandemic we are all a little stressed. The second visit was even worse with the same lady barking at me over the Employee taking my order again. I will not be returning. This staff really needs training on allergies, customer service and how to be a decent human being.
