This is my second time ordering a mozza burger from this specific location and both times the burger tasted of FISH. I brushed it off the first time actually wrong… and it’s not just me my girlfriend reported the same problem. Do not recommend. Go to Eglinton square food court if you would like to have normal a&w as opposed to the other disgusting location

I don’t like to give negative feedback, but I prefer to say it to protect others. Two months ago I order here and my son got sick.

Today I took a risk to order again (me thinking positive). And again my son got sick. He is a super fan of A&W, but this place definitely is NOT CLEAN.

It's just an okay A&W joint in the franchise that gets the job done. Somehow the atmosphere and lighting isn't very inviting and most people will just grab takeout here. The McDonald's on the other side of the road has brighter lighting and often has more people eating in. I also find that seasonal items like the whistle dog or mushroom melt often come here later than other A&W joints in the franchise, which is weird, I can't explain why. Even the A&W app doesn't seem to prioritise this store for pick up orders somehow.

This place has gone downhill. They have one employee cooking and I love ppl of all races but the owner is a old chubby white man and he has a policy to only hire Tamil ppl and one Japanese senior citizen. The problem is the ones at a&w don’t speak English and are slow as heck as they hate there job. I’m sure there is some weird stuff going on in the back room. It’s always teen Tamil boys. Reverse racism with a tad of creepy. If u don’t speak English fine but at least show some spark while u work. All this a&w care about is Uber. The in store customer can go to hell

Workers are generally nice and helpful.
Washroom is not clean enough.
Tables are dirty and old.

Visited on a Saturday at four o'clock before meeting a friend. The restaurant had plenty of spaces to enjoy a decent burger. Staff were friendly and efficient. Pries were reasonable and there's a good choice on the menu. The restaurant was well maintained.

I came there yesterday and the service is terrible. There is no customer in the restaurant, I wait for 10mins, the cashier didn’t even look at me or say anything back when I said hello. When she came, I asked if I can order now. She was yelling at me and said “I know, I know, I don’t have time”. What is that even mean? I don’t do anything to her, waiting to order and instead of getting my order, I got yelled. She is so rude. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Definitely not be back in this location.

This isn't location specific:

Don't get the breakfast wrap. It's so tiny. It's so small. Worse than other fast food snack wraps, and also more expensive.

ALSO It's full of super sweet ketchup. Sad!

These people are extremely slow who work behind the counter here.
I was ignored about 6x for like 5-10 mins coming in here by the staff.
Either they:
Hate their jobs
Understaffed

Something is wrong here you should fix it. Hire more people and don’t ignore customers that are floating you

This easily the worst A&W I’ve been to. Every time I’ve ordered here, I’ve waited way too long for a simple sandwich or combo. With no line up too. Not only that but every single time they’ve messed up/forgot something I’ve ordered.

Every time I come here I have friendly service. Always happy to get my morning coffee from these employees! Great service, place is usually clean.

Just glad that Roy and Frank are not alive too see the condition of this restaurant! Cleanliness has left the chat

Worst burger in Toronto if not in the world never again. Heated beef for 10 dollars it’s just lol. Never again

1. Burger was cold and dry.
2. Fries were old and unsalted.

Not coming back to this location again.

A wide selection of very good quality burgers, minimal packaging (so less waste), comes exactly as advertised, and all reasonably priced!

Took for every been here 25 min took 15 to say hi and the remaining for 1 fries and 2 apple turn overs

A girl works here in monday day shift. She is slim girl. She is too polite and soft spoken. Also she helps people who have less money or need food due to any reasons. I personally request store manager or supervisor to reward her. If somebody knows about the girl I am tallking, write her name in replies.

Ordered 56 buddy burger and paid full price. What I got was normal buddy burger. In the menu screen, it showed that tomato and lettuce was included however, what I got was a patty slapped on buns and ketchup and mustard when ai got home. It was depressing looking burger. False advertisement?

From the first moment you arrive in that place the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a nice restaurant to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great food, specialist chief cook and stuff, modest pay and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Not a good franchise. Dirty restaurant and double teen burger was made poorly (soggy bun/ soaked in sauce, lack of bacon).

I come to this special place many times since I love the special atmosphere that is unique to this place. The crew is highly welcoming and skilfull. The service is certainly fast. Most important, the food they cook is excellent. I frequent often and I was always joyful. The cost is fair. I recommend this place to to everybody.

Tried the cod burger and sweet potatoe frieds.dry burger needed more mayo or something.and quite pricey over $12 for both fast food isnt cheap food. I could have gotten a main at a thai place for that.

Your typical AW, except this one doubles as a homeless shelter past 12AM. Not officially, it just has people sleeping in it almost every night. It's an awkward dining experience.

Always the best choice for fast food. Love the root beer, especially when served in large frosted glass mugs.

I like the fact that they offer the option to lettuce wraps opposed to a bun.good choice there for carb sensitive peeps

Eating here is a gamble. Sometimes it is a good food and service and some times it is a stale food and bad service.

Come here if you want to spend 30 mins waiting in line and 30 mins getting food. There's usually 3 people working. Probably 1 person would've been more optimal for what they're going for.

Great burgers & excellent fries. Love the way your drinks are poured in frozen glasses. It brings out a distinct taste for the pop you choose to drink in it

It was convenient on the 3 AM TTC bus ride home, from downtown and the entertainment district to Leaside; I could wait for my next bus and munch on a Teen Burger and fries. Also served a decent breakfast at 7 AM on my way from North York to Leaside for work on my weekends. It serves the purpose.

I am not going to get into the quality of food, because, it is a fast food place. It isn't to be a quality dining experience.

Where else can I go at 2AM and see everything from a panhandler asking for change to two dudes who looked sort of like the property brothers, but vegan? (I know they were vegan because they said it loudly in the almost-empty restaurant within seconds of arriving - a new record, I think?) Dinner took a turn when one of the PBs said to the other, unprompted, that 9/11 was an inside job. However the mozza burger was delicious and the fries weren't horrendously salty like they are at McDonalds. 5/5.

The staff was friendly. But he was not aware about current A&W OFFER. That should not b done bcuz A&W invest money in offers and employees should know too.

The store is open but for some reason they keep cancelling our Uber eats orders? Had to order from a further a&w

I particularly like this location because it is clean and they pour your beverage on cold glasses! Great flavor!

I have been to this location multiple times and EVERY time the food is cold/stale. The beef patties are always cold or barely lukewarm; this means that food safety is greatly compromised. I’m pretty sure they cook the patties early in the day and then just stick them in a microwave till they are lukewarm when they get an order. This is just begging for food poisoning to happen. I think the workers at this location just simply don’t care about food safety; they probably know what’s right and wrong but they just can’t be bothered to care enough to follow the rules. Stay away.

We were at the location that is in Eglinton and we found better the food of the A&W that is close to where I live that is opposite the Costco of East York

In the past I used to place take out order Most of the times representative used to arrive very late with torn paper bag, drink spilled all over the food inside. Representative confidently told me, bag is broke, hold it carefully! They don't care. No regret, no refund. I completely stopped take out. Once I visited the restaurant with an intension to talk to the Manager about take outs. Most of the filthiest restaurant I ever came across. It has weird smell, beyond description. Floor and furniture are never cleaned in ages. I cannot imagine big roaches, mice roaming around in the night. I will never step into this restaurant.

Very long wait for a teen burger. Seems like this place is understaffed. It is a shame that they will be losing business. McDonalds across the street is much more efficient.

The chicken sandwich was just ok. I should have gotten a burger. The fries were delicious. And the iced tea in a frozen mug is always refreshing
