Excellent experience at this location. Me and a group of 9 people had our late dinner (10: 30pm) there. Matthew and his coworker did a great job serving us.

I’ve been there for the first time… was an amazing experience. One of their employee… I guess his name was Ajaypal, was really empathetic. He’s really good in his customer serving skills. Overall, it’s nice being there.

Soooo fresh! Have had breakfast AND dinner and I can't say enough! Coffee is Van Houten and tastes AMAZING! Prices are very reasonable and well worth your trip! Matthew helped us at the Drive thru and his customer service skills were brilliant! Well done!

Ordered a papa burger, received a teen burger and was not given the fries. For having 4 people working the drive through window, you would have thought at least 1 person would be able to get an order right. And lettuce tasted like it had not been rinsed.

It was okaaaayyyy. Nothing spectacular, just a fast food burger joint that had a 24hr drive through, which is what we needed at 11: 30 pm. The burgers are tasty, but the fries were kind of stale and the sweet potato fries were just missing something. They got our order wrong three times though. By the end, we were just so hungry and tired, it wasn't worth the fight.

Normally I enjoy A&W, but when I placed an order via doordash for two bacon cheddar burger meals with poutine, it was replaced with two orders of fries. Why on earth would anyone decide fries are a suitable replacement for two entire meals with poutine? If I wanted plain fries, I would’ve ordered them in the first place. If you don’t have any burgers available, I’d suggest contacting your customer instead of assuming plain fries should be the next best option. This experience was disappointing and infuriating. I tried calling the store but it went straight to voicemail all three times.

Three stars only because other orders have been decent.

Now I have to go make my own burger and some gravy so I don’t choke on these super dry, fried potatoes.

Friendly staff, fast service, got what we ordered. We ate in and had a nice experience. Manager came around to check on everyone's meal and experience, which was nice. I had a chai tea and it was ssooo tasty!

Yummy food and amazing service. The service here was fantastic. Best A&W I've been to in years.

They are open 24hrs and due to traveling often I ended up at A&W once a year or so. Let me tell you I will always try anywhere else first. It’s always just the worst. Even no line and the food take forever. Chicken buddy is always soggy never crispy. It’s a last resort and still always disappoints.

Staff were confused between large and regular size drinks. They didn't have ice and my soda was flat.

This review is for all A&W. Just ordered a breakfast wrap for the first time, and have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed. I paid 9.00 for a wrap that was only 3 inches long with a hash brown and coffee. If A&W wants to compete with tim hortons and McDonald's in their breakfast department, portions size needs to improve. Tim's breakfast sandwich wrap is double the size and cheaper.

Went after work at midnight. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait to warm up the grill. If that's the case just close at 11

Judy gave us the best service we’ve experienced in decades. We were made to feel welcome and we will be back to see her smiling face again.

Disgusting customer service. Ordered food, didn’t receive it, waited in line to get the food that was missing and was denied.

Clean and fast service with large portions. I typically find A&W to be a bit overpriced but this experience may have changed my opinion. I'll be sure to visit again

Went there today with the girlfriend and her dad and had a good experience. The drinks were mixed well and almost tasted similar to the can. I tried the jalapeno lime beyond meat burger and was pleasantly surprised. It was spicy but tasty. The chocolate turnovers were a little dry but flavored well. The staff were pleasant and accomodating to our needs. Overall the experience was good and would definitely be a returning customer.

The Welland Avenue location of A&W is always superb and I would recommend it to anyone who is a meat eater or a vegan. The customer service is always top notch and the quality of food has never dissapointed. You may have a longer wait than competing fast food establishments, but that's because they are making the food fresh.

This is the best a&w in town, has always been fast and efficient Everytime I go and they always get my order right.

I usually order from them in night, on my way back from work, the staff is very friendly and polite, my order was perfectly made, I had couple of additions on the burger, they followed those perfectly, considering it was 4 AM in the morning, service time not at bad, I only waited 3 minutes for my order.

The food tasted better at this location than in locations that I have tried in Toronto. The staff was very accommodating with my order.

We visited this location on xmas eve.the staff were very pleasant and a very relaxed atmosphere.

The food at any a & w always seems more fresh than other fast food burger places, and this location is no different. Besides Harvey's A&W is most likely my favourite fast food burger place. The tomatoes are never mealy and the lettuce is always crisp. This location in particular almost always gives coupons when you visit. On their website a&w has monthly coupons so I often use them, as well as the paper coupons that they give out.

Always fresh food, love that they give healthcare worker discount at this location too, good friendly service

Ordered Skip the Dishes and all of the burgers we got had barely any toppings and the patties were super dry.

Put a mobile order in so I wouldn’t have yo wait in line, or wait for our food to be made.

As a former A&W employee, their performance was dreadful. When I had got there I found out they haven’t even started working on my order (even though the order was placed 15 minutes prior to me even showing up there). It took them over 10 minutes to get 2 combos out even though they weren’t busy and only had 4 orders on their screen (one of them being mine). Once I finally got my food, the food wasn’t even fresh, which once again makes me question why I’m waiting so long for my order to come up.

Bad service, even worse food, go to the fourth ave location instead

This A and W, I would recommend it at night due to a worker named PARAS very helpful guy and polite helped me in so many different occasions and always has a smile on his face, tried other workers in different timings, but they were not as helpful as him.

Was ok, didn't get my order the way I asked for it, got ketchup and picklywen I didn't want that.

I ordered 2 Mama Burgers with whole grain buns and all the additional toppings. Instead I received basic burger with no additional toppings on a regular buns. This was at 522 Welland Avenue.

Greasy inion rings and were to salty. Service a bit slow. Felt sick for the next two days. Vomited and had diarea as well.

This is the best A&W in the region! We have come here regularly for at least 5yrs now for my son who has anaphylaxis level allergies to dairy, egg, and peanuts. The staff are amazing and always do what's needed to provide a safe, cross contamination free meal. My son has never had an allergic reaction from here (I wish I could say the same for other restaurants) and it's really nice for him to get take out once in a while like a normal kid. If you're looking for a fast food place that takes food allergies seriously this is it!

My favourite hamburger is the teen burger. Still has its own taste after all these years. Nothing the other hamburger joints have come out with has beaten it.

Tried the Nashville hot chicken. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for hours and wasn’t anything special. Way overpriced for what it is. The fries were ok and the root beer was flat. Also charged 0.25 for BBQ sauce. Maybe I just need to try another location - this wasn’t impressive.

Asked for as many pickles that could possibly fit on my beyond burger and they did it. 13 pickles to be exact.thank u Matthew

This is my favorite takeout restaurant when I need food on the go! Always fresh tasting and not slapped together like other places. Definitely a 5 star take out restaurant!

This location about a year ago gave my wife rubbery pink chicken and refused to do anything about it.

For some reason when you ask for chipotle dip on the side (for fries) they put it on the burger instead.

By far a&w has the best breakfast.it's a little bit more expensive than McDonald's or Timmies but the quality is much better.plus a&w always have coupons on their website! Only kind of down side is i think their intercom is a lil busted because you have to repeat yourself a lot.but other than that a great spot!:)

This A&W location is very friendly and convenient. I find that their lines are often shorter than neighbouring fast food restaurants, and the lines take less time. Food and coffee is also delicious.

Quick service and very accurate with large orders. Polite employees and great food, I drive the extra 6 minutes on Saturdays to go here and its well worth it!

Really, really great service later in the evenings in the drive thru. A really helpful young man (Spanish - I think? The receipt did not have a name) has been so polite and provided excellent service any of the times I've gone through the drive through. Way better than any of the other locations in the region.

If you are going, skip the dining room and take the drive thru. Went in for take out and waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order, because they were to busy taking drivethru orders and punching in skipthedishes orders.

After they finally took my order I had to stand and wait another 5 minutes after I could see my order was ready for them to bag it. I had to stop the employee and ask them to bag my order and they rudely dismissed me with "one second" at which point the older lady (who is always very nice) ran over from the window and packed my order.

I should mention there were still two other people who had not even had the chance to order yet, one of which had been there almost as long as I had.

Nothing to write home about in terms of food, and it was disappointing to see the cod sandwich still advertised on the website but not available in store. Wasn't terrible either though, and it was open late, which was handy.

Alot of other locations have better burgers I didnt care for this location burgers were not done right overcooked and dry

We eat here often, & the burgers are the best I've ever had! Fresh and juicy, made exactly the way I order, every time. The service is very good, even if they're busy. There have been a few communication difficulties mostly due to language barriers, which resulted in incorrect orders. Which is the reason I rated 4, instead of 5.

The best burgers in town by far!
You see, I used to go to Wendy's for years when I was younger but then switched to A & W for the last 10 years because it was closer. I went back to the 'big W' recently and omg. What a difference! There was no taste in their burgers whatsoever. I couldn't believe it. I can only assume I've been spoilt by the burger family over the years. ;)

They have increased the price of their breakfast!

Fast food. Tastes great and has Beyond Meat.decent prices and will be a quick lunch in a pinch. Don't recommend eating here every day, but once in a while to grab a beyond burger, why not!
