They don't speak English I can not have and tomatoes I will get very sick and I told them no tomatoes and they put tomatoes on my chicken burger

Overall bad experience. Used to love this location but lately has gone down. Today being the worst. First I ordered the new nuggets, paid and everything then they come out to tell me they don't have them and want to give me something else, I had to fight them to give me my money back and the girl had to call her boss to ask if she could (I got the money). Then, I got my food before my mom who had order before me and apparently her order had been sitting in the line just not being bagged. Got home with the rest of the food and it was awful, over cooked burgers thrown together and cold.

Sat in drive thru at the window over 15 min before some took my order. Was told to drive to other side and have been now waiting 20 minutes and still no food. Brutal. Worst drive thru I've ever been in. Dougall Ave windsor ontario

It’s fast food, but a&w usually has decent burgers. When I came by here last time it was a pretty dry burger. Made me wait a while for it too so I thought it would be fresh. Not sure what happened.

Good place to meet your craving for a good fast food burger and fries. Chubby chicken sandwiches are good too

This Place is Super Slow, and this is Owner’s fault. Just two employees working on Sunday. 1 in Kitchen, 1 for taking orders for Drive-thru and at Front.
Owner shouldn’t be cheap and Hire more staff, specially for weekends.
It took 30 minutes for just taking my order.

Worst location I've ever been to. Staff was rude. Portions were pathetic. Nothing I order is made right. When the staff were notified they asked for the receipt (which I wasn't given) 10 times. And then they proceeded to hang up on me when I called to complain. Unprofessional and ignorant staff. Enter at your own risk.

I ordered a Double Buddy Burger with cheese, w/no mayonnaise. I got a bun, two extremely dry old patties, dry cheese, and a spoonful of disgusting, burnt onions. That’s it.iIt almost made me sick to my stomach. When I went through the drive-through again to actually get a burger made in the last 10 minutes, I asked the drive thru employee to make sure that the onions weren’t burnt, and she said “unfortunately all of the onions are burnt at the moment. ” Why was I knowingly served burnt food? I’m absolutely disgusted.

Was about to go to drive thru mind you in was the only one in the drive thru, told me ill be with u in a few minutes (which was 5 minutes) then tells me I Cant take your order for about 5 more minutes

Foods not bad, thought the burgers might be too overdone for most people.

Seemed dry to me not very juicy considering the prices they charge.

Very slow service, no one was In front of me in drive thru and I had to wait 15 minutes for "fast food" also overpriced for average tasting food.

Onion rings were terrible. Most of the breading was in the bottom of the bag. Way too much salt. Was all you could taste. You could tell they had been sitting under a heat lamp awhile. The tomato on my Teen burger was thicker than the burger. Could barely see the lettuce on it. Not going back again EVER

Every time I come here, they say, it'll take just a few minutes, and then they take over 20-30 minutes. Understaffed. This is supposed to be fast food. The waiting time is the same as a full blown restaurant

Employees weren’t friendly at all, waited 20 minutes for our food when there was only one car in front of us. No words were said at the window.

Breakfast must try: bacon & egger on a bun. So surprisingly tasty. I don't like the coffee, it is very weak. Drive thru takes a little while but service is good and order is correct.

Burgers are good. The fries and onion rings are perfectly cooked but way over salted.

The worst food I ever had. Everything was cold, onion rings had all the coating off and at the bottom of the bag. Everything had an off flavour.

I tried beyond burger first time and it was so delicious. And the girl with glasses who was working at the front was very friendly. I definitely visit again.

On September 19th my husband and I made a large order of mama burger combos and chicken fingers combo, we were missing two orders and the chicken fingers. There were short staff and making due with what they got. I went back and explained what was missing and the gentleman at the till was very apologetic and made what I was missing right away. Please ignore any negative reviews for today's event. It's not easy rushing orders out and being short staff. They were very kind and fixed their errors.

Must be under new management. If going through the drive through check your order for missing items.

Unprofessional interaction. I understand your stressed out and don’t want to use the coupon I had but there’s no need to raise your voice and give attitude to a client. Will not be returning to this location. How you should speak to a client tone is everything as well but something like “ no I’m sorry unfortunately we don’t accept that coupon and are unable to use that one”.

I'll admit, the service is not the greatest at this location, nor is the food, but in a jam, I'd go here on occasion. In the past, when I ordered Buddy BUrgers with extra onions I have eaten them with no onions or very little onions. I've forgiven them each time but on Saturday November 14 they drew the final straw. I placed my order and was told to go and park at the side of the building; I waited, and waited. When the food finally came I took it and drove away only to find when I got home they did not include my order of fries. I drove back came to the window and told them my situation and then told them I would like two buddy burgers to compensate for my extra trip. The manager said no. I went inside, got my money back from my french fries and will never, ever return to this location!

This location needs to hire some new employees. They are always slow. Good quality just really slow.

Who doesn't enjoy a good burger? I have fond memories of pulling up to an A&W in the old days and eating in the car. My favourite was always the Teen Burger and it still tastes as great now as it did back then. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly.

A&W always has great food but tonight. 10pm Tuesday night, we try drive through. Drive through is down. But me and my friend are on our way to work. We figure ordering 2 teen burgers and 2 Root Beers shouldn’t be all that complicated. We ask to just tell the guy our order, and we’ll wait for it, as there was nobody at the counter at the time. No, can’t, have to come in. Ok, it’s my friend’s first time trying A&W and I tell her it’s really good, we’ll order inside. There is 1 guy in front of me. Asking about all the items on the menu. At this point, there are 3 more people behind me, waiting to order. The guy finally decides on a 6 piece chicken strip. This took about 5 minutes to get to. Instead of moving on until the guy knew what he wanted, just sat there and waited for him. And then the customer asks to get money exchanged. The guy gave a couple bills to the worker in the kitchen, and now everyone is just standing still. Just waiting. This is another minute or two. Comes back with a handful of 5’s. At this point the customer asks, “well how much for the meals? ”

I get patience with customers. I get trying to help people through their order, but at this point, between not being able to just tell this guy my order of 2 mama burgers and 2 pops in the drive through, to him not moving this customer along at some point, with 4 people behind him waiting, I’be waited over 15 minutes to order 2 burgers. I left, went through the drive through at Taco Bell, ordered, payed and got our food before that 1 guy got his food.

My friend, still looking forward to trying this burger I’ve been hyping up said “he must be done by now” ok, let’s go back. Even though we already have our Taco Bell. She goes in, (cause I’ve had enough of this guy) orders 2 mama burgers and a chicken buddy burger.

That’ll be a 5 minutes wait.

It is now 10: 29. I was told that I cannot tell the guy my order at 10: 05. The food is great. The service is the worst I’ve ever seen.

Sale on Mama burgers for $2.50 ea. Pretty good but initially quite dry as condiments were just on the one side. If they have a promo I'd go back but not my usual go-to.

I love the vegan burger and sausage and the new vegan nuggets are good too! I love this location.

This location never has poutine for some reason so I had to settle for fries that were cold and unsalted probably not coming back again

Tried the new veggie burger and it actually wasnt that bad (though I will stick to my regular burgers)

I got one of the free teen burgers and it was made really well very professional staff and clean restaurant.

I love the A&W Teen Burger, but this Dougall Ave.location routinely overcooks their hamburgers to the point that they are burnt black in places! Not good for you, and not fun to eat!

I've been coming to this A&W for a year so you know this is an accurate review. I order the same thing multiple times a week. I'm a vegan, so I eat the beyond meat burger with no mayo/chub & Uncle sauce or cheese. It's every other time that they forget and add mayo. I have to wait 12 minutes for them to finish making my order. When they forget to not put mayo, I have to wait another 12 minutes. That's a 24 minute wait at a fast food restaurant. This is not fast and when they mess up my order I get no discount or compensation of any kind. Today it happened again and it was the final nail on the coffin for me. They even acted like I was being unreasonable for asking them to take it back. How hard is it to not put mayonnaise, if anything, it is less work. Unacceptable, I'm eating at Tim Horton's for my beyond meat from now on.

I like their uncle and teen burgers, always taste good along a side of super crispy onion rings and a mug of root beer

Use to love a@w burgers and root beer, still love there breakfast but the introduction of the thick soggy paper straw has ruined the root beer for me, either bring my own straw or drink straight from the cup from now on, should be a paper strw rebate put in place for the inconvenience.

Tried the "Beyond Meat" burger. Very good but burger was a little too soft, needs a bit more firmness to resemble a meat burger.

Sometimes they will let you substitute and sometimes they don’t. That’s fine.

However you encounter rude staff that try to put you down with condescending tone saying they have never allowed substitutes at this store which is not the case.

Used to enjoy coming here for the food but some ppl working here make me wanna turn away looking for other options.

Teen burgers my favorite but had cod sandwiches they were great. Go often. Service great both inside and drive thru.

Food is great, you can tell the meat is of great quality from the taste itself. Mainly like going there for their advertisements that claim they don't use any hormones etc. In the meat. This place is usually busy with slight wait times mainly because only two people work there (In the evening atleast). Overall quite happy with their food and service.

I ordered 2 kid meals.the staff working here only give me one meal and a drink and a fry.i asked for refund.he give me a fry refund.i pay another meal amount.he did not give me a drink with it, because he think i had two drinks already.so i asked the drink refund at the second time.if he can give me the drink with the meal, i would just let it go.i feel sorry for this experience.the business owner really need to train to be helpful.

Great food almost second to none for the taste and quality over the other fast food chains. With that though comes a price. Personally I look forward to he coupons and specials that come out to enjoy the best of both worlds.

The staff is great. They are happy and helpfully. A&W staff also offer to bring your food to your table. It's always clean and condiments are always stocked.

Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

Excellent on walker road windsor. I only go to this location. Do to problem with the manager not accepting my coupons on Dougal Ave. Big mistake with Harvey s right across the street.

THAT WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE AT THAT LOCATION. THE LADY MANAGER WOUDENT EXCEPT MY COUPON EXPIRED.
