Ordered a beyond meat burger with cheese combo. Beyond meat burger was undercooked and there was no cheese. Fries were cold and rubbery. Employee was rude and didn't even speak to me at the window. Total waste of $16. Would not recommend this location.

We were at drive thru and we ordered hash brown sandwich and the employee just declined to serve it! This is not acceptable behavior! They said they don’t make any more and i only had this burger at different location two days before

Long time for service even though not that busy. Don't order frozen drinks. They make them right away then melt until your food is up

They overcharged us for a combo and the person “Sandeep” at the back wasn’t even using gloves while making our food. We got our refund instantly. Would never recommend eating here.

Usually love this location. Fast and fresh…. But today was an experience like no other. The signs weren’t facing the drive thru speaker they were facing the other direction so I could even read what was available. I then ask for a ice coffee since it’s 7: 30 in the morning surely they have coffee. Nope they are cleaning the machine? ! Makes no sense to me. Shouldn’t that be cleaned before the coffee rush in the am? She then told me I could get a apple juice. No I came for a coffee. But thanks. I had to leave and not complete my order. When I’m told they don’t have something and I can’t even see other options because the sign isn’t facing towards me… get better practices on when you wash your machine.

Smelly environment honestly. Shop needs to have more cleanliness otherwise food is still cooked the proper A&W way.

In the drive through tonight, ordered a buddy burger and asked if the onion rings would be fresh. "oh yes they would be". Upon opening my bag a way down the street, or l would have gone back, THE ONION RINGS WERE COLD, LEFT OVER FROM THE DAY, AND BAG NOT EVEN FULL.will not be going back!

Slowest moving drive threw I have ever been in. I watched 3 to 4 people get served inside to every car served!

Inconsistent. Sometimes the burgers and fries are hot, or hot enough. The next day they come cold.

I ordered 2 buddy burgers with chicken and asked them to add extra lettuce and sauce, on Wednesday 7: 45pm on 10th November. When i got home i saw there is none added to it. Highly disappointed with the service even though there is no rush at all.

If there was a possibility to give this location 0 stars, I would. We’ve been to this location multiple times during late night hours and it is just the slowest and most horrendous customer service you can imagine.

We’ve also ordered off Uber - would you believe that they put bacon in our VEGETARIAN beyond meat burger? And although it took time for the driver to be dispatched, the driver arrived and knowing that the order was in a priority status, the driver had to wait 15 minutes for a small order of two burgers to be handed off to him.

Please, please, please refrain from going to this location and do yourself a favour. It is a shame that the other locations near central Waterloo are closed early.

If you don't want people to sit at tables because of covid restrictions maybe don't provide chairs at those tables. Seems easy enough. And personally. 2 Teen burgers are not worth nearly $20.not today.

They are bare hands manhandled your food. Touching your food repeatedly and taking food back to fix orders and manhandled way more than needed to make a burger. There is no ingredient that has not been repeatedly touched by these people. Never ever eat there again and will definitely share this experience with everyone I know. Pure garbage. No respect for the food industry.

These guys do a super great job in lettuce wrapping a burger. Get the bacon, cheddar uncle burger wrapped in lettuce/no bun. You won't be disappointed. Consistently good.

Worst A&W ive eaten at.stood waiting with nobody else in line for several minutes only to get dry cold fries and a burger.even the watery rootbeer which wasnt in a frosty mug but a wax cup filled with ice and little rootbeer.staff was cold and unengaging.

3rd time I've order a&w off ubereats and they never put lettuce and mayo when I have asked 3 times.don't think its an ubereats issue so thats why I'm here

You can always count on a fresh Teen Burger and some of the best fries around, and as a diabetic I appreciate the diet root beer. All the flavour and none of the sugar. I know it's not the best diabetic meal around, but when you're going to treat yourself this is definitely a place to go.

My burger was cold and my onion rings were so saturated in grease more than usual. The entire meal was cold and soggy. Was very disappointed and won't be back.

Ordered a poutine and received fries, cheese and a lot of water. The box literally could not hold the gravy that is how much like water it was. Makes you wonder if they are checking the food they serve you.

The rep imputed a coupon incorrectly and tried to convince me that the figure which they charged me was correct when in fact it was wrong (I was overcharged). They didn't know basic tax rates which are charged to customers.

Worst part - I go in to get my refund and I see the people making the food aren't wearing gloves while putting burgers together (during a pandemic nonetheless) and are wiping there hands off their pants and clothes when they get something on them. At that point I returned the food and got a full refund. Very bad experience.

We love A&W, their burgers are pretty good. This location messed up my kid's baby burger (added onions and mayo) so he didn't end up eating it.

Just went through the drive through. I waited a few minutes to place my order no big deal. Said my order slowly and clearly. The order was read back to me, and was incorrect. We corrected the order, and the order was read back again and was wrong again. Again we corrected the order and it was read back again. This time correct. Got to the window and the drink was wrong. They corrected it. I guess I should have checked my order while sitting there because I got home to give the food to my family and one of the chicken burgers was still wrong. Very poor experience. Would not recommend going while this shift is working. Unreal.

Could have been much better. We had just a buddy burger, but it wasn't very fresh tasting. Hopefully a better visit next time.

A&w has one of the best breakfasts around their eggs are amazing hash browns are awesome coffee is great service always with a smile

Best fast food quality. Don't forget to check for coupons on their website. It's typically more pricey so they come a long way.

I like my A&W when I'm craving fast food but there is nothing fast about the A&W on Victoria St. In Kitchener, ON. 9 out of 10 times the drive through is very slow and I'm asked to pull through to park and wait until my meal is ready. The manager of this location needs to pull up their socks and find a way to speed up the service.

Generally good food. I was somewhat dissapointed by the Truffle Mozzarella Uncle burger that had very few onions on it, and looked nothing like the pictures. Also the speaker on the drive through buzzes and makes it really hard to hear what they're saying. Also took about 15 minutes to get my food after ordering.

If you like the staff assuming what you want and cutting you off mid order and still not fixing the order after you tried to correct it 3 times. This is the A&W for you.
This place used to be really good, but my last 3 visits have been a repeat of the above.

Was picking up burger/fries combo for my son. Cost over $12 for how much food? The burger maybe a buck, 50 cents for the fries & the fountain pop costs less than the cup its in. The place was empty at 5pm.

Agree with other reviewers. Quality, temp and freshness just great but SLOOOOW. 20mins for two burgers is only acceptable if it is a sit-down restaurant with table service and homemade patties.
Front counter staff guy was alone and handling lineup and drivethru by himself and doing well under circumstances but cmon mgmt.add one more staff.

The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the staff is always friendly. However, the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I go to another A&W near my house that is always quick and efficient no matter how many people are there. I work near this location and everytime I go here I spend most of my lunch break waiting for my food. I used to think it was just because it was busy during lunch which is fine.but even when I am the only customer in the drive-in at 2: 30pm I still have to wait 20 minutes to get my food. Food is good when I have time to eat it.

The food is great don't get me wrong, but your burger may fall a part and the food is rarely hot. I eat here often but it's mostly because it's near my house. The place is pricey for fast food, so you'd be better off going to a sort of cheap restaurant.

Yikes! This the AW in Kw that needs the biggest improves! This one I avoid when it comes to AW! They just seem to miss when comes to making the food and customer Service!

There was not enough staff. Too much attention paid to the drive through and not enough on customers at the counter. The tables were not clean. Dirty mugs were piled up. The food took a long time to be delivered. Food was tasty as usual.

If it's super late at night, and you don't know where to go. This is always a good option. Great for late nights when not much is open

Indian worker was making fun of white coworker in hindi. Didnt make our meal right or the meal of the 3 people in front of us. Forgot fries on most meals and our drink. Dont know why we ordered a combo. They even charged the people who waited in drive through for 15min 1.64$ to fix their screw up and made them come inside to pay. Wont be returning. When we calmly tried to resolve our issues they met us with blank stares.

Tried the beyond meat burger offered here and it was really good! The service at this location was fast, friendly and the food was better than expected.

Slowest service I have ever had at any fast food restaurant. Whether there is one customer in the store or twenty, I am always forced to wait 10-15 minutes for my food. This is consistent. I have had conversations with other patrons IN THE STORE about how long it's taking. It's honestly ridiculous. But it's only the Victoria location! I've been to plenty of others and the rest have my food ready within a couple minutes. Even though I work very close and prefer A&W, I've switched to Harvey's. I don't have time for the Victoria location's snail speed. Food is fine, but they need to fire everyone and rehire. If you need a fast lunch, keep driving.

Stopped here specifically for the blueberry turnover (Victoria Street North, Kitchener) Dropped my husband at home with his apple turnover & left for an appointment. Bit into my “blueberry” only to find it’s apple. My husband at home checked his “apple” to find its blueberry! Unhappy customers as this happened to me before at another A&W in Kitchener. Perhaps having them prepackaged as McDonalds does with their pies would help.

Good service - they do offer the beyond meat burger now but will take about 10 mins of waiting after you order because of the cook time

Worst service ever, I was in the drive thru for waiting for a Teen Burger for 23 min. I could've cooked one at home quicker. I CANT BELIEVE YOUR STAFF ACTUALL GETS PAYS CHECKS!

Always delicious. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for ky order to be ready, and I am okay with that because I know it isnt sitting premade in a bin. This is the only fast food place I'll go to.

The restaurant was empty. Upon arrival, my nana and I were not greeted. We waited at least 5 minutes before Sahil was ready to take our order. I ordered a Diet Coke and my Nana a root beer. We both received two root beers. Next, we sat down at the only clean table available. After 5 minutes into our mediocre dinning experience, I lifted my arm. To my unpleasant surprise there were ants crawling on my arm, table and the windowsill. I promptly went to the counter and repeated myself 5 times before Sahil took notice. When Sahil came to the table he inspected the ant-infestation and told my nana & I we can move to a different table. I asked to speak to a manager and he advised me there is no manager on duty. I was told I would have to wait until 5pm to talk to a manager about their inefficiently run restaurant. Head office will hear about it first.

I managed to get a picture, after Sahil had cleaned the table and surrounding areas of one of the surviving culprits.

We love the choices a&w is making, from their hormone and steroid free beef, to paper straws and cane sugar sweetened root beer.

I used to really enjoy A&W but the food quality has definitely gone down hill. Not as fresh as it used to be. The prices used to be good, but for the environment you get you would expect much cheaper pricing. This restaurant cost almost the same as a sit in dining restaurant. Plus typically a dine in restaurant has much better food then a fast food restaurant.

Bit by bit this store keeps going down hill. I have been going to this location for the past 6 years now as it is closest location to where I live and work. The staff is usually very friendly but extremely slow. Partially because they are understaffed. The average wait time for a drive through here for me is about 15-17 min for a breakfast sandwich and if i go inside it isn't much better. During lunch hour the wait time is equal if not worse in a drive through. This isn't on a rare occasion this is on a constant.more than 6 years of experiences. The food however is always prepared correctly and hot. Its the service time that is the killer and unnecessary in the fast food industry. The management needs to staff their store accordingly or train their staff to be quicker; one or the other.
The worst was when I got stuck in the drive through behind people and in front of people unable to get out for over 33 min waiting for breakfast and as a result of that was late for a meeting.
If you need a quick pass through this location is not the one to go to.

Employee dealing with take out window was lovely. The spot where you talk into to place your order was damaged and someone had stuffed a bag of Wendy's food garbage into the unit. The employees must check the outside of the restaurant for cleanliness too.
