There was shells in my scrambled eggs
No hash brows and no wifi toast was only toasted on one side of the bread

Poor service, meh food, and disgusting store (flies everywhere, broken/destroyed seating, etc), AT THESE PRICES CONSUMERS DESERVE BETTER. The employee (Indian female) was lazy and incompetent, the cook was distracted by her phone and made a very sloppy burger, overall a poor experience. Will not be coming back here (this location).

Just ordered this, Not cooked, still red, and disgusting. The phone number does not work. No way to contact this store. $20 for nothing.

There was 0 customers yet the dining area was dirty. Cups and food crumbs were on the tables and the tables that looked clean were very sticky. The employee has rude and disrespectful. She was on her phone in front of customers and constantly took it out while packing up the food. It was a frustrating experience from a fast food worker. I highly do not recommend eating at this place. You’ll have a better experience going at the Tim Hortons next door.

Service was the only good thing about my experience. Food was bland, pop was watery, and while i sat to eat i noticed a few of these bugs (im assuming roaches) scattering on the floor.

Came in at 6pm on a Friday. Two people working, no one else in the store. Had to get the attention of the staff to get served. We were told they were out of onion rings (at A&W!) and that we couldn't get root beer in a chilled glass because it was too close to closing. A&W is a great chain, but this is far and away the worst I've been too.

Every time I have a coupon scanned, it charges me more than advertised. "Free fries" with the purchase of a teen burger and I'm still paying $1.45 for fries. The staff shrug their shoulders and refuse to address the issue. Perhaps give the customer the free fries. Perhaps inform your manager. Instead I waste a coupon and leave annoyed.

First off, their phone doesn't actually work for incoming calls. After they left me FOUR, 30 second silent voicemails and cancelling a bunch of my order, I couldn't even get through to figure out what was going on. The order arrived half an hour later, and was incorrect. Don't order from this location, they couldn't get a single thing right.

The service and ppl at A&W are amazing and always have a smile, thank you for the good food and service.

Terrible experience. I ordered the chicken wrap and this guy was ordering for me and then went back to the kitchen to prep the food. He did not wash his hands and he was like scratching his chest … and touching his face and his ears and everything. So I asked the lady if this is always the way to prepare food. And she said yes. I asked does she think glove would be good ideas. And she said the health inspector said no gloves. It’s poison. It melts on hot food. But the chicken wrap is hardly hot food and I am just confused.so they want to use bare hands for hot food if the temperature is too high for the glove wouldn’t it be too hot for the hands? At least use a thong or something. Anyway, the lady wasn’t really explaining she was practically screaming and repeating gloves are bad. Would have been nice if she just talk to me in regular tone and because that’s how you explain. Me as a customer, was standing there like a student who did something wrong and was told by the teacher. Worst experience ever. Thanks A&W.you have great employees.

If I could give less I would. Just ordered delivery and received 4 onion rings for almost $5. Absolute JOKE

Having worked in the service industry, I’m pretty forgiving of bad service and never leave reviews.

I was in London that day to help the tour crew out for the show that night at Budweiser Gardens. I had just gotten off the highway and had a few minutes to grab lunch and head to work.

Being lunchtime, The line at A&W was long and I had to go to the bathroom so I figured I would go use the bathroom, wash my hands like you should before eating and then order.

I asked the gal working the front if I could get the door code for the bathroom (I could call out the specific person working but I won’t)

She then asked if I had already ordered because I had to order something in order to use the bathroom, I said no that I had just gotten off the highway, wanted to pee, wash up and then order.

She then gave me a bit of unnecessary attitude, not the worst but totally uncalled for to someone who wanted to use the bathroom before ordering and who was essentially a paying customer.

It felt weird announcing that I had to pee to the dozen people in line but I did.

I can’t really remember the rest of the conversation but it was just bad form on her part and went on a bit too long. She did explain it was private property and I had to purchase something. She did however let me use the bathroom before ordering.

Never in my past serving life have I denied a person a bathroom or even water or had a an restaurant including A&W question me if had already purchased something. It’s just bad manners. People have to pee, get over it.

I was a regular looking person not a drug addict using the bathroom to shoot up and simply asking to use a bathroom.

Maybe that’s just what people do in London, I dunno. I had never seen this type of behaviour from service staff.

I just feel bad for a senior citizen or someone with a small child if they had been in that same position wanted to use the bathroom before ordering. It’s not even that crazy of a concept to grasp either that people want to use the bathroom before ordering. Overall, a weird experience.

I don’t go to London much, but next time I’ll just go straight to crew catering.

The a&w in London Ontario's downtown core needs a huge over haul in its staff and it's food practices oddly enough the restaurant was always clean but that can't be said for its staff whom even the management is seen constantly texting or gossiping and belittling other, the staff it's self don't ever ware gloves while preparing food as well as washing hands after handling cellular devices while preparing or bagging food on top of it all I have seen staff sneeze then try and handle customers food would not recommend eating here

Didn't get my takeout order right. Twice. It wasn't anything complicated I always ask no pickles no mustard and both times I got either pickles or mustard on it. Even though the confirmation screen showed, no pickles no mustard.

I liked this place because it was clean, the price was fair, portions were big and I enjoyed gourmet burgers at a fast food chain.

Walked in. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait for food. Waited 10 minutes to even order. No lineup. I have never seen anyone in the kitchen move so slow. Literally took 45 seconds to close a box of poutine. I'm writing this review while I wait. The girl in the kitchen just left. Worst experience ever.

A great friend of mine took me out for lunch I grabbed a buddy burger and she said wheres the burger lol it was good

A&W really has upped their game. Their breakfasts for example are like actual breakfasts that you might get at a diner (Maybe even a little better!)

I probably don't need to comment on the root beer, the fries, or the burgers. They're all amazing.

Gotta love the metal baskets that you get, and the metal trays. It shows that they're willing to spend money on the little things, which is definitely appreciated.
