A&W Canada

This is far the most clean A&W we have been to date. The tables, floor, the area to wash hands, etc, everywhere inside this restaurants was spotless. We were surprised that they brought the food to our table. Food well prepared, served hot, well seasoned. Definitely recommend this place!

The staff is always great and friendly at this location and I'm glad they got the machine so I can try and enjoy the new frozen root beer

After a concert finished across the street and everyone came to the store to eat. AMAZING service and customer experience considering the stress no doubt the staff had tonight. The owner/manger working tonight and gave everyone who was in line a&w suckers was very kind, helpful to the staff of maintaining the store and assistance staff was very nice. Very good store

Not a friendly cashier wed 19.7.30 p.m.

She couldn't explain the prices and applied discount nicely and properly to a senior person. Told the latter to go dine somewhere else.

I ordered 2 burgers and they just send one burger after that they don’t even accept their mistake

Staff is very kind and helpful. Even when I come in only for fries, they still smile and treat me well. I appreciate all their hard work

Bought the double buddy chicken burger and tasted fantastic. Buns were toasted to perfection, chicken was still juicy and tender, not stail and dry. Just enough sauce and pickles to be spreaded through every bite and not overwhelming. Service was great too. Was told to wait at the table and food would be brought over once ready.

Hit or miss. Food is great, customer service is meeh. There was an elderly man who did not speak English very well and the cashier had no patience for him and went to the next person behind him which was me. I told the cashier that he was there first so he should order first and someone from the line came in and helped him. Cashier has no compassion nor the patience:/ actually disappointed to see this as their management is normally very considerate and fast.

My eggs were served very well and everything brought to my table. It was a great experience. Nice, clean and felt like at home

Best service I've ever had in any fast food, anywhere. Saman went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Thank you so much to the entire team of this location. We'll be back

I don’t usually post reviews for outlets of fast food chain restaurants but after a few patronage to this A&W outlet at Keele & Sheppard, I have my reasons to make an exception in this case.

Reason for my 5 starts are largely because of the friendly staff at this location. Furthermore, bonus points for them being open 24hours. Even during the wee hours, the service from the crew here are exceptional.

As a pescatarian, A&W offers me the Beyond Burger with sweet potato fries as an option that allows me to enjoy a fast food meal without compromising on the food’s freshness and my health.

One of my favourite local destinations for a quick supper. Burger is good. I ask for the fries really well done. (Crispy!). And for the root beer mug to be taken from the cooler at the last possible moment. Never disappointed plus the staff is very friendly.

I have been here a few times. They always mess up my order when doing takeout. They also do not accept Amex for some reason which is really frustrating as other locations accept this payment method. I recommend you try the other locations at Keele & Wilson or Wilson & Billy Bishop for a better experience.

Today was my second and last day at this location. I went there at 6: 50AM to get a burger combo. They made my order according to the instructions provided but, when I noticed the guy he made my order with his barehands. He didn’t use any gloves and he didn’t wash his hands before making my order after he took my order and typed it on the computer. So thats why i am giving 1 star rating. I went there in a hope to get same experience like yesterday to get food for my lunch at 6: 50AM before my work and the girl was super nice and friendly. I was going to give a five star rating but today’s experience made me give this rating.

First time went there for breakfast. The place is clean, they also have hand wash station I find their bacon and egger better than Mcd.their hashbrown is good too

I went into this location for the first time this morning the restaurant was very clean and the staff was nice the young lady who attended to me I did not get her name but she is the supervisor on duty she knows her job very well can you please thank her for me please I will visit there again thanks

Yet another A&W discriminating against people with disabilities, if you open a bathroom, you MUST either use the wheelchair accessible washroom or NOTHING AT ALL, keeping only the NON ACCESSIBLE washroom open is clear discrimination.

Also your staff making the excuse of ‘it’s because of Covid, sorry’ IS NOT OK.

This is NOT the first A&W restaurant to do this.

(I’m lucky, as I carry an arm cane with me everywhere just for issues like this, it’s especially dangerous for me, as I’m legally blind also, & currently have a broken foot)

I was working late and hadn't had dinner yet. There was room to park my fuel truck. The food was welcomed and delicious.

The place Nasty to blood cloth, No Chipotle sauce available for a month now. My straw dissolved in 5mins. The sweet potatoe fries were bitter.

Very convenient being open 24/7, never had an issue with the food or service - would recommend they be more frequent with cleaning the seating areas at night time

Great place! Food (especially the burgers) was delicious; service was quick; location was very clean and hygenic; and very convenient overall since it's right at Keele and Sheppard. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality burger at an affordable price! Be sure to use the online coupons from the A&W Canada website for more savings.

My first time eating at any A&W. I came away disappointed. When I went in I saw the menu board, where the cod sandwich stood out and looked delicious. So I decided to order a combo with root beer and sweet potato fries. When my meal arrived, I saw that the sandwich was a tiny little thing with two tiny strips of fish. I could eat The whole thing in 4 bites. Not worth the price. The taste and assembly were below average of other fast food restaurants I've eaten at. The Sweet potato fries were ok.

Good place foe late nighr food cravings. Open 24 hrs steps from keele and finch subway station and york University. If you drive easy on and off from keele exit on both 401 east and West bound exit. Near ro downsview park and at the location keele and Sheppard intersection.

The morons who work here never get my order right. This has happened multiple times. Also the cups dont look like theyre washed properly.
They take a minimum of 20 minutes to process a simple order.
Food is never fresh, always cold.
Employees cant speak English.
All the good reviews are from their family and friends. DONT BE FOOLED

Stopped going there. My husband and I decided we would not eat at home anymore on weekends, we’d use coupons to eat out at fast food places. This place got knocked off our list of places to go. Every time we go there’s a problem. We just couldn’t stand the aggravation anymore. They cheat so much at the cash register and they lie and try to make a fool of you. Every order results in being almost double the price by the time they ring it up because of (as I discovered) the conniving and sly way they do their up selling. I know all places try to up sell but McDonald’s and everywhere else is at least upfront and transparent about what they’re doing. A&E is deceitful. Order a breakfast combo, they ask do you want coffee, tea or orange juice. Leading us to believe either one is included in the combo price. Nope, we discovered they’d charged us for the oj. Then they say do you want hash browns, fries or rings? Same thing, leading us to believe either one is included in the combo. Nope. Charged us 4.00 for fries. I have zero tolerance for intentional deceit. Another time we show up 11: 02 am, no more breakfast. Another time we ordered white toast, they took my money, said nothing about not having white bread, served me brown toast. When I gave it back they said “we ran out of white toast”. Then why didn’t you tell me when I ordered that you didn’t have it instead of trying to slip the brown bread on me in a sly and deceitful way without disclosure. Every time we went there we’ve encountered problems with them being underhanded and deceitful. Their breakfast sandwiches have no sauce or anything on the bun so it’s really dry. Asked for mayo or sauce or something on it, nope doesn’t come with sauce. Stopped ordering that. Ordered two burger combos for dinner one day, asked for coffee instead of pop with one combo, nope can’t have that either. There comes a point when you just want a freaking peaceful honest meal at the advertised price, made the way you like it, without having an argument all the time. They’re just not worth the pain and suffering, it’s a fast food joint, they act like bloody nazi’s.

Me and my two daughters always visit this branch after walking to downsview park. One thing we noticed today while we eat, my daughter tells me "Mom, there's a dried lipstick on my glass". She is only 11 yrs old and its no way that it was from her and beside she is using a straw.im not sure how they wash the glass. But their food is good. Just make sure everything is well-cleaned.

They have a handwashing station by the cash. Why does every fastfood place not have these. It Was a crazy evening with a huge event near by and the staff was quick and great!

Food's good and came relatively quick. The one thing is is that they don't tell you for here or to go, and that they assume that it's always to go.

I ordered a double buddy burger with cheese added (extra charge) no mayonnaise and bbq sauce instead on the side, a Mama burger and a poutine just 5 minutes ago. When I got home to check the order, I found that they forgot the cheese on the burger and didn’t give any bbq sauce. The poutine was too salty and the service was really slow when there weren’t a lot of customers.

Service and atmosphere was good, the place is clean and tables were nicely spaced out. Staff were friendly. The fries here were really good and food tasted fresh but a little plain. Root beer seemed a little flat as well.

The food was great. We ordered a sausage and egger and mama burger combo. Hot and fresh, even though there was a bit of a wait at the cashier. The restaurant was spotless although we didn't use the washrooms.
