It can be a hit or miss visit. I enjoy their fresh onion rings but sometimes they are broken and not very hot.

The worst service a customer can get. The young man and the girl do not want to work. They just want to chat with each other, and the customer has to wait for a very long time. I waited from 7: 15 to 8: 15 a.m. And eventually went to another restaurant, knowing that the restaurant was empty of customers.

Stopped in after work 1215 am- ordered a buddy burger combo s as nd a MoMA burger- got home to a dry bun slathered with mayo raw onions and a patti? The MoMA burger was the same! Dry bun with a patti loads of mayo and a pickle! The only good part was the root beer and the fries were hot - I’ve lost my desire to ever eat fron there again/ and the fact that the guy at the takeout window was playing on his phone sealed it for me! Poor food poor service and definitely won’t go back!

Cashier was listening to not a single word i said, asked for a combo, didn’t get a combo, asked for the new one cup, didn’t get a one cup, told her to go, got it on a tray.kept looking away from me and having personal conversations instead, then watched her mess up another order for the same reasoning.if i’m paying an incredulous amount for fast food the service better be minimum decent, which at this location never is.not to mention the amount of fruit flies flying around.

Didn't expect this kind of taste. The chicken patty is over salty and over cooked. McDonald's is way better than this.

Pop machine didn't work.food was cold.wait was 30 mins.not going back to Peterborough a&w

Great food always. All locations seem to be pretty consistent. Bathrooms could definitely use a deeper cleaning and an upgrade.

Tried A&W for the first time. I got Double chicken buddy & Spicy dill beyond mama burger, poutine and everything was amazing. Staff helped me out figuring the menu & deals. Clean restaurant. Would come here again.

Terrible I had to go back 3 times because they messed it up each time. Then blamed me. I told them exactly what I wanted they repeated back all great, 3xs wrong. My ice creams and groceries in the back all melted that I just bought on my way home waiting so long and wasted time involved. Very poor!

Got the wrong order in the drive though. Went inside to get it corrected and none of the workers could understand that I didn’t get the correct order and told me I was wrong. I had the reciept for my order but had the wrong bag, fairly simple. I ended up leaving without one of the combos that I paid for. Don’t go here.

Ordered my meal waited about 10 min for food then did not get the right order. Realized this once I got home tried calling message kept saying phone number out of service. Poor service for what you charge. Won’t be back for awhile. Oh ya frozen root beer they don’t fill the cups. Food is always tasty even when order is wrong.

I love A and W Food. Unfortunately, this franchise seems to be family run by group that does not get the 50s buzz of the food and atmosphere. People behind the counter were on cell phones, and paid little attention to customers. Staff were also filling toppings in plastic cups taking up the whole front counter. Condiments were not filled up and the tables were dirty.

I went there around 3: 30 AM and was asking for one sandwich and i was told to wait 40 minutes just for one sandwich like then why don’t you close the store, rather than keeping it 24/7, that would save some time and gas

Never call this store for take out orders because they never answer, i wanted to pre order for pick up and i called them 5 times but they never answered or neither any back call.

Best place to have your snacks, dinner, lunch. They provide the different kind of tasty burgers and the intresting fact is that the burgers are named as family relationships like mama, papa, uncle and many other relatives.
One of the best thing to eat is beyond meat burger it's a vegetarian burger but try at once, it's a little costly but taste is good.

Here while traveling through on Christmas. Was so glad you were open so we could sit and have a bite. The staff was welcoming and friendly which was super appreciated on a day like today. Thank you to everyone who was working Christmas day:)

Terrible, East Indians are running the place and get nothing right. Not Recommended.
Use the A&W in the North End.

Got the classic bacon n eggs, staff was great, got a WOOD fork with my breakfast (so awesome, kudos to u A&W) just got to get rid of the plastic knives. Your doing way better then other competitors

Very poor (slow) service although been enough staff present on site, we were in there drive thru for more then 45 mins and same things have happened with my friends too. Therefore, I would not recommend this place.

Restaurant was filthy not one clean table and not one customer in the restaurant. Will never return to this place.

Stopped here for a quick bite. Place was quite dirty. Floors, windows, tables. Food was ok. Hesitant to return again but decided to give it another try. Walked in and turned around and left. Place was filthy.

Took 20 minutes to get the food. Gloves were not used handling food by all employees and the fries tasted like they'd been on the warmer for 3 hours - dry and hard.
Not recommended - this A&W has gone down hill.

As A&Was go this one was top-notch. The food is regular A&W but the service really sets this location apart. I was pleasantly surprised - Hence the unusually high mark for a fast food joint.

No one came to front counter. Had to yell into back after 5 minutes of waiting for the 3 employees staring at a screen in the back to come to the front. Rushed the food out and most was undercooked even tho we were only people here. An employee whistled loudly from the back over powering even the establishments music with an annoying tune for over 15 minutes. Will not return.

Bought a papa burger combo here It was ok, but the onion rings were a bit fresh, but overall staff was pleasant and friendly.

I only got Nashville chicken sandwich I thought it was pretty good at least on par with the rest of their chicken sandwiches, but spicier. It's not anything too crazy but still tasty.

They had us pull ahead in the drive-thru & forgot about us.we sat for 20 minutes trying to be patient & when I went back thru, they hadnt even started it:/

Very poor service. They dont knew how to talk with delivery derives, i said order for skip and she said then what can i do? I dont knew the name of the girl but she has a ugly lips and vear black dress

Awesome fresh burger.gurdeep did a great job.fast friendly and so polite.
Did not have to ask for napkins or a recipt.

Rude night staff! Specially Vikas K and Raman or Ramandeep. They come around other restaurants on their days off as couriers for skip the dishes and door dash and pressure staff to make their orders first when informed that their orders are not going to be made as there are other orders ahead of them. Also, I used to visit this location for their momma burgers and sweet potato fries but in the last one year it has gone downhill. Charred burgers and buns and zero sense of customer service. The other 1 star reviews speak for themselves or all the reviews in the last few months. Tried reaching to managers in store but did not feel comfortable as they are from the same boat and will protect their own. There is a reason why McDonald's across the street has a line up and this one has one car in the drive thru.

Absolutely disgusted with what's served at night and the service. Other reviews speak for themselves.

Good food, terrible restaurant inside. We always just take out as the restaurant is old and small. Too bad.

Sent our main comment to your Guest Relations email re clarity of English on Drive through. One other item though after picking up my Husband's dinner. Teen Burger, and Fries. They were out of Onion Rings.what's with this? Something has drastically changed at this location in many ways, and quality of food has gone down. It used to be awesome.

Rude night crew, specially the guy that owns the Mercedes telling people how he runs AW. It's funny since their 7 generations never owned a vehicle and this is their first time.

I always buy buddy burgers from here good taste and reasonable price but this time I’m a little disappointed because this time I got was a burned one hope it won’t repeat (just for information ️)

Super friendly staff at the drive thru; delicious fresh food: soft bun, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, right amount of condiments - fantastic. And fresh apple turnovers - at 11pm! Really great.

Great service. Had traditional breakfast of fried eggs, bacon and toast. Hashbrowns were to also be on our order, but despite it only being 10 o'clock, there were none available therefore we were given fries which was a bit disappointing.other than that, we quite enjoyed our breakfast.will definitely return!

Fantastic burgers and chilled glasses of root beer. No antibiotics or hormones in the food. High quality at a fast pace with great aesthetics.

I think A&W has ONE of the best tasting burgers out of all the fast food restaurants, I live in Peterborough and its at this location where I usually buy burgers from but was always disappointed with the quality of burger, some time ago a went to an A&W restaurant in Toronto and ordered the same burger I usually get, to my disbelief I thought to myself is this how A&W burger is supposed to taste? I couldn't believe how juicy and tasty it was, now what has caused me to right this review is because I have in front of me the rest of a burger from this location here in Peterborough that I have no intention of finishing.

So this is like second time I've ever eaten A&W, and they did forget one of the drinks I ordered. The food itself wasn't terrible, but the portion sizes are a complete rip off for the price. It's ridiculous needless to say two times is enough, I will never go to A&W again.

Visited for a quick breakfast, choose their Canadian breakfast and it was pretty good. The place was clean and the order was quickly served with a smile - what else can you ask on a Wintry morning!

Clean, fast service, it was a new type of burger that they were promoting and it was tasty and juicy. I also really enjoyed the toppings. Looking forward to going back.

Its okay but last time I was there the girl put my order in as just a sandwich without asking. When I noticed I said no I wanted a combo she said didn't know how to fix it so it was going to be the price of a drink and fries instead of the combo. I just took my burger and left I'm not giving you 5$ more because you cant fix it.

Avoid this place if you it's busy! They cannot handle volume! What will be fast food will now be slow food. The management is incompetent and has no leadership or communication skills. Expect a long wait if it's busy and don't expect any apologies from anyone.

Service was good. Used to love A&W burgers but they seem to be making the meat patties smaller now and it was only Luke warm the last time.

Not impressed with the service due to young people not listening to what people order making mistakes and taking too long to fix need serious Improvement

Restaurant is so, so small! There's no room for people to line up and order, there's not very many tables and the menu is so tiny that you can't see to order until you're right at the counter. Food is tasty but very small portions for the price. My burger also got cold because it isn't wrapped in paper but just sits in an open container. Staff was friendly and helpful and the retro feel of the decor is nice but not sure if I'd want to go back.
