A&W Canada

There's nothing Diverse and Inclusive about this place. It seems to me this owner takes pride in hiring East Indians who are only here to take our jobs away. I think it's terrible when it comes to choosing management, this place wastes their time in with someone who is so lazy. Tamin is a nice guy. However, there is a side of him you must watch out for. 1) He spends too much time when I am there stretching out his feet on the bench seat around the corner and taking a nap for as long as he wants. 2) When one of the other girl's are busy and they summon him to come and help because they are behind in orders he will take his time getting there. 3) He never checks to see if the tables need wiping and the floor or washrooms need to be clean. 4) He spends too much time on the phone when he should be working. I don't know why you are trying to cut back hours on the other nice lady there who takes orders on the drive thru. She should be there more often she's not lazy at all. But it angers me that thus Manager spends no time with his people and less time checking out this a&w location. To me they shouldn't be allowed to have a restaurant when they are too lazy to be there to check out what's going on. You can't run a business or own one when you never spend any time with your workers. To me this owner should lose ownership. He never fixes the grate outside, the drive thru window is disgusting and the bathrooms have never been updated. The side door is so busted and doesn't even have an operational lock. To me this owner should be fired and gone.

I like A&W and this one generally the food is good. They do let the fries sit to long without making fresh ones sometimes; but, that doesn't happen often. That said it's no longer a working man's solution for lunch. Oddly they've added keycoding to the washroom doors. If you want to wash your hands before you order lunch it's difficult to push in front of everyone else in line to ask for the code. Obviously, no one wants to order and take their food in the washroom with them afterwards. Fortunately lots of other places to eat in the area.

My parents went to the A&W yesterday to get a couple burgers and me a beyond meat vegetarian burger. They had the beyond meat burger in the same bag as the meat burgers. That is a cross contamination of meat with vegetarian food. Not good. I work in a kitchen and that is never allowed My pop was flat. And my dad had onion rings that were mush.
We went there last year and my dads burger had hair in it.
I've also been inside the location and the staff are rude and make you stand there waiting for service.
Never again will I give that A&W location a chance. And if the company doesn't do anything to fix the problem they're having I will never go to another A&W again. Please train your staff better

Unfortunately I can only give a 1 star when they deserve zero stars. Used coupons and charged us for each individual item totalling more then the advertised price. Sub fries for onion rings said they can’t and charged us 7$ for onions rings without telling us. Charged us for a kids meal when it was included with the coupon. Meals should have been 25$. We ended up spending 39$ and they could not explain why we were getting charged to much. The customer service was terrible since there was a language barrier the host kept getting belligerent and hostile. We will never be back to A&W again. Terrible experience

I put up a negative review about telling a customer he couldn’t use the washroom because he was homeless. He pulled up in a newer pickup with his son. Wanted to wash his hands after playing golf. Than asked for the manager and was told there is no manager. They act like you’re not good enough. I’ll be going to another A&W location. So I guess they’ll take this review down.

Worst service ever, rude employee at the window. Plus waited so long. N the food was cold

Ordered a Mushroom mama burger (see picture) THAT BURGER COST $8.00! LIKE WHAT? !? Service was slow and my onion rings were cold! I’ll save you the trip, don’t come here!
