Food and prices are always top quality.
The new renovations really bring back the original 80's dinner vibe.

I’m not even gonna get into it here, this place is so far gone that head office needs to get involved.

Needed to use the washroom and they are locked and only unlocked AFTER you buy something and if they give you a receipt

Drive through refused to take our order even though we waited in line like everyone else. Broken speaker too. Unfortunate interaction.

So A&W is still one of my favourite burgers and root beer, well that speaks for itself. But what has happened to your Onion Rings? They used to be the best and now twice that I have had them, there is a very salty seasoning on them. Either it is not being applied properly or it is too much. Anyway, it ruins the taste. So salty, you can barely eat them. This needs to be fixed! I can't imagine anyone enjoying them like this.

25 mins in the drive thru for one teen burger and some chicken snack wraps at night. Not offered anything for the insane wait time for fast food from a drive thru either. With no communication from the employees my order would take that long.

The Canadian Special Breakfast is great after you give blood. Love it!
Wellington A&W staff are always so cheery.

Nice enough place, but you need a receipt to use the washrooms. Very inconvenient if you like to wash your hands before ordering and eating.

Regularly visit the drive through, service is always quick and they don’t get the order wrong. Can’t ask for more than that

Took my family there for lunch. Had a teen burger bacon was dried out and hamburger was cold.tasted under cook.orion rings were really undercooked and greasy.that was a waste of 36 dollars

HORRIBLE.terrible service, rude employees and they messed up my whole order.i wanted a teen burger with no pickles or tomato with a poutine and a coke and they didn’t even remove the tomato or pickles and i also didn’t receive my coke or a fork.i am currently sitting here eating my poutine with my fingers because of these horrendous, unorganized, careless employees.if i could give this place a zero star review, i would.

Ordered via skip the dishes multiple times as well as dined in the location many times. Very good food. Great atmosphere. Happy guest:)

It was my first time at this A&W location, and it was great.

The drive-thru was fast and efficient.
The payment at the window was smooth, and the burgers were awesome.

I will definitely come back for more Burgers

One of the chicken strips was fully RAW in the five-piece chicken strip meal I got. I hope I don't get food poisoning.

Opened up poutine box and was so disappointed. This is embarrassing A&W! The box is only half full of fries, can count the cheese curds on one hand, barely any gravy and certainly not enough to melt the cheese curd. I paid $5.29+tax for this!? Person who put this together doesn’t seem to care about the quality of their work which is a direct reflection of the store manager not insisting everyone do their best to keep customers happy. Won’t be back with so many other choices in the city.

Literally the slowest “fast food” I’ve ever had. Waited 25-30 minutes for a simple drive thru order.

I remember A&W as a kid and it still has a great burger. I love the hearty french fries and the Root beer speaks for itself.

Got breakfast, it was delicious.better have been, waited 20 minutes for food, nobody but us in the restaurant.not cool

Drive thru was very busy (COVID). Very young staff working hard. Food was hot and delivered quickly.

Took 30 min to process 2 burgers and only bring half of the order after made us wait for 30 min. Ridiculous

Always have loved A&W burgers was very disappointed in what I got from this A&W and as of February 22nd you have to order while standing outside in the Drive-Thru Lane just doesn't seem right won't go to the downtown one again

I havnt been to a&w before but this was the best fast food experience I have ever had! The Jenna girl there was so nice. I wasn't sure what to order so she helped me choose. She told me what every burger on the menu was and ensured I had the best of the best. Great customer service and amazing food! Thank you Jenna for the help!

Been here a few times and the staff were very rude. Once they ran out of lettuce, food was undercooked, wrong items sent out etc. Don't think I'll go back

There's this really cute girl that works there that makes a really good coffee. You know who you are LOL.

Sit-in dining was still closed on November 15. Our rootbeer was flat. Food was what we expected - hot and tasty.

Nasty gross and cheap location. By far worst! Always dry cardboard patties waste of my money the past ten times i still gave then chances. Screw that no more stealing from my pocket keep saving your dry patties in your drawers and your stale cold fries. Shame shame shame i would shut down this location in a heart beat. Best location is in Kitchener by sportsworld dr.

I called wanting to purchase something was told reallly busy right now call back later when i called back was told they didn't have what I wanted but if I came in they could order it for me so I jumped on the bus and went there and was told I don't think we can do that call back in a week and we'll let you know great service NOT

Use to order from this location NIGHT time. Regular customer every weekend.
Unfortunately, today visited during daytime. Bought combo with apple juice. It wasn’t APPLE JUICE, jus some very ODD flavoured liquid.
The staff is selling jus WATER and charging for apple juice. Never visit again during day. Night staff much better service and food. Seriously, NO HATE WD ANYONE.

It's an A&W. You know what you're getting into. The one downside is that the service in the morning is slow.

Went for a takeout. Didn't know that, there were no vegetables in the double chicken burger. The staff was really kind to give another burger with all veges I requested.

Liked the food taste, and the quantity. It was great.

But there was no dine in option, and I'd prefer the ambience to be good too.

Have had two very poor experiences here recently. One of my burgers was made incorrectly and the other time I waited 25 minutes, 10 minutes at the window, for two snack sized burgers. It was sickening.

Don't bother with this place if you are pressed for time, was a long wait for all our food

Terrible location. Tim Hortons traffic makes it extremely hard to get to the drive thru at certain times of the day. Rude employees that seemed frustrated by simple questions, and to top it all of the food was not good. Undercooked onion rings that you pay 5$ extra for and a poorly thrown together burger. I guess the root beer was alright.

The food was cold and seemed as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The quality of A&W food is normally extremely high - this location on Gordon Street in Guelph was an epic disappointment. I can honestly say that the food from Wendy's or McDonald's would have been far superior to that which was served at A&W.

The staff here has been very friendly and offered great suggestion to make my first visit to A&W one of the best ones. Keep up your great work A&W team.

Best of the fast food eateries, fair corporate values and good environmental practices (paper straws, paper bags etc) coffee needs work unfortunately.

It's great.the girls allways get my order right.and the breaky sandwhiches my grandson and I got last Sunday morning were cooked properly and not messy

Food is always slow. Every time I go here I think it'll be different but they ask me to pull into a parking spot and wait 10-15 minutes for a burger and onion rings. If I'm trying to get something quick as I'm running into work I simply can't go here cause they won't make it fast enough even though they are "fast-food"

Terrible worst aw I’ve ever been to. Eggs were raw and with shell in them plus forget to give order twice in this same morning. Terrible

Food was cold. Probably had been sitting around for hours. For the prices they charge at least make sure the food is remotely warm and/or fresh.

Shout out to my 4am lady dec 29th, by far the best cook, service and communication. Age is nothing but a number, it's real! Three times my generations age and they still wouldn't be able to prove the slightest.

I like this place very much. It has a happy feeling. The food is superb.the service is effective and the stuff is courteous. The pay is reasonable.profoundly recommend.

Order drive thru Papa get a single with nothing on it, try to complain to website, wont let me pick a location. Lots of other choices out there tha this expensive AW that can;t even get your order right

They cut their beyond meat patties in half. If you are going to advertise the the product as the full product (i.e. Signage noting 22g of protein per burger) give the full product. This has happened to my twice now at this location.

Great rotation of new items such as cod fish this past summer to new toppings such as the current truffle cheese burger. Bravo!

"Fast food" so slow, you'll receive it cold! I've timed you guys. On average, I spend 7 to 16 minutes between ordering and receiving my order in the DT. The only redeeming feature is the root beer.

Always enjoy A&W. The quality at this restaurant is a bit behind the one on woodlawn. I received 2 teen burgers that had wet lettuce, caused a soggy top bun. Was edible but not 5 star quality unfortunately. Fast food quality is huge as the price keeps rising. Will be back again, thanks!

Sat in the drive thru for 15-20 minutes on a Saturday night. Two cars ahead of me with each taking a long time just to be attended to at the window. Staff had no clue how to handle and cook for that three customers.

Ended up just leaving since I didn't want to waste anymore time or money on the slow service.

New washroom setup a total nuisance. Doors that only open electronically with a pin code from your receipt? What if I need to use before ordering? I know you have a homeless problem on Wellington and I sympathize but how about a door buzzer like in Toronto?

What a great place to work on assignments during a snow storm. The food is always great and they have a nice music selection.

They offered food in exchange for currency. The food was pleasant and I would be willing to carry out a similar exchange in the future.

Unfortunately this A and W was not good. The onion rings came out to us charred black (I'm not even exaggerating in the slightest). I asked for no onions or tomatoes on my burgers. (I ordered two teen burgers) They had to made the burgers THREE times! This was a terrible experience. I expect more out of A and W!

I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. Well it was a outstanding evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for the successful event. The waiters collaborated in a graceful way, the cuisine was yummy and my guests were very delighted. We shall definitely come back again for more events.thanks very much.

Secret order is buy the buddy burger and ask for lettuce and tomatoes, I usually order like 5 hamburgers. I just love this place.

They force you to make an order to use the washrooms since the door has a touchscreen keypad that requires a password that's on the receipt. I can't support this dictatorship.

Bad day for me, I had to go to the washroom, but it was customers only. I bought a burger at the Wendy's down the road after using their unlocked washroom instead. The Wendy's washroom was clean and the burger was good. Parking was convenient at A&W's.

Tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I like the great mood and delightful food and drinks. Keep it up.

This place was filthy! I can't believe that a chain would allow this kind of business practice. I witnessed an employee drop food pick it up with their bare hands and put it back into a warming tray! I normally like A&W but I will NEVER frequent this particular one again. Total disgust.

The one teen burger was as advertised but the other they gave me was not a teen burger. I have no idea what it was. The drive through I would not recommend. The food is not what I remember it was like years ago. Their advertisements do not match what you get

Pulled up to the drive thru at 4: 30pm. One car at the window, one car waiting to order. 20 minutes later I'm finally at the window being handed my order which was wrong. Not someone else's order but mine just not what I ordered. The screen at the order speaker is broken so I didn't see they had it wrong. This isn't the first time the order has been wrong and the drive thru wait times are usually pretty long. I've not run into these issues at other locations. Seems like poor management to me.

Too much control over the washroom and not enough information to access. I had to ask twice to get the right code.
Drinks provided without asking, and the glass wasn't even full.

Ordered a buddy burger combo on October 19th 2019 at 00: 30 from drive through. First of all, waited over 10 mins when I got my food both fries and the burger was cold it felt like they were sitting there for hours before being served.

They'd get a higher rating if they could find a way to make gravy for poutines past 10pm. This would be acceptable if they were an American A&W but this is Canada the poutine is a staple. Also quite frankly their fries need the gravy. Their burgers are good, but if they could start doing a simple task and just make gravy at night they'd get 5*s from me.

A&W is a canadian classic. Good burgers, and if you eat in you get your soft drinks in frosted mugs. Fast service, and clean restaurant.

It's fast food but it's good. Four stars instead of five because they could season the onion rings more.

Used drive thru, very friendly staff. Had 2 burgers, one was good, the other one disastrous (bun was burned to death), just ate because we were hungry. Unfortunately we realized after we left (had to continue our trip), otherwise we've had handed it back.
