A&W Canada

Met a friend there and it was a very good experience for my wife as it was her first time eating there. They knew our friend by her first name which was very nice to see. Would certainly go there again and recommend it to others.

Went for breakfast there yesterday. Everything was freshly made. Coffee was hot and delicious. Service by Jolly was excellent, Thank you guys.
Will come again soon with my family

I came into this restaurant ordered a meal and they don’t take $100 bills with the price of everything today hundred dollar bill should be the normal. It is Canadian tender. If you’re a restaurant you should be able to except $100 bill I would not recommend This place at all

Always a pleasant meal. Unfortunately it has gotten a bit pricey, so our visits are more infrequent than before. The online sales coupons they used to have drove a lot of the business we gave them. It would be nice if A&W Corp invested more in that.

I’ve been coming to this location for 8+ years, only recently (1yr or so) have they been so slow. Avoid this A&W location unless you’re willing to wait 5-10 minutes for *fast* food. On the bright side, it’s made fresh, however this isn’t always the reason I come to A&W

The staff are so rude and un welcoming, they have limited dining time, and they would tell u to leave the dining room and go outside after they cleaned in the early mornings. Very bad customer service

Love their mozza burger combo (comes with fries and drink-diet root beer is best) their sweet potatoe fries and sweet chipotle mayo sauce is to DIE for? Perfect after a long hard day at wrk

Honestly. I only come here when nothing else is open. (24hr. Drive thru) I ordered three chicken, bacon, chipotle wraps and a six pack of root beer bottles. The miserable female at the drive-through had a serious attitude. My six pack of bottles had a whole bunch of dust all over them.when I attempted to question the filth on my beverages, I was told, as she closed the window, " no that's just cardboard dust". I chuckled. I insisted replacements. Oh boy, what an attitude she gave me. She took them with the way for about 3 minutes, obviously cleaning the dust off the bottle she gave me in the first place. While she fumbled a boat with that intense task, I opened on my wraps. No bacon. I opened the other two and same thing no bacon. As she handed me back of the newly dusted off six pack I questioned the missing bacon. Her reply, you didn't order bacon. I wasn't in the mood to exchange unpleasantries.so I left. Fix Dusty root beer bottles and three bacon lettuce wraps. This is my attempt at vengeance.

I normally do Drive-thru. And almost all the time i only buy poutine because i love A&W poutine. Drive-thru is pretty fast and staffs are pretty helpful too. But i found they are not consistent with poutine quantity. Some times i get box full of warm poutine sometimes it would be cold poutine with less quantity.

Went through the drive through placed my order, the guy repeated it to me correctly, went home and got a wrong order. Pls check ur bag b4 u go. I got beef instead of chicken. Thats why I gave here a 3 star.

They’re usually good at this location during the day but last night around 10pm I found myself waiting 30mins - a hour just get my order. I don’t know if they’re under staffed or what but having to wait 40 mins for some fast food is ridiculous, and completely ruins the point of fast food restaurants, big disappoint

Visited late at night. Food was fresh. Staff was friendly. She was the only one working at the time so it took over 5 minutes to get my order but I didn't mind this was after 3am.

Too expensive. 2 single Burgers and 1 order of Fries $20.

Girl who was working there on Nov, 4 around 4 am was so nice, she was talking so politely and she prepared my order properly, i told her to put some ketchup in the bag but she put it in the sandwich which made the sandwich even more delicious, thank you so much.

Can't get orders right and found a hair in my burger.

Placed an order through drive thru and asked for extra pickles. After ordering she even asked us to check the screen to make sure everything was right, and we mentioned the extra pickles on the mama burger again because it wasn't on the screen. She confirmed.

When we picked up the order and were driving away, I checked the burger and 1.there were 3 pickles and 2.there was a hair.

We had already driven away and were in a rush to get somewhere, so weren't able to turn around. But never coming back.

I love a+w. But not this one. They have the heat turned up so hot that I cant wait to get out of the place. Standing in line I was sweating because of the blast furnace hot air blowing down on me. Wont go back to this location because of it.

Great service although my only issue is the fountain drinks tasted disgusting. Everything else was good though.

This is truly my worst a&w experience I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. My chubby chicken was lacking in mayonnaise, was overcooked, chewy and flat, and my onion rings were inedible. I've not had a bad a&w experience until this moment, and I am so disappointed with how overcooked burnt and downright nasty this food is. Very disappointed.

Let's be real. A fast food chain like A&W can never get five stars for its food, but I've never been disappointed with the food or service at this location. The employees are friendly, the food tastes like every other location, and the place is clean. There's also never a line-up for breakfast, which is where it really counts.

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a awesome evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that strong gathering. The waiters collaborated in a graceful style, the meals were tasty and my friends were very cheerful. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

The service was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the food as always at A&W was delicious. I really like A&W and their commitment to making improvements in their packaging and quality food.

This is not only a good place for hamburgers, but also breakfast! Fast service (as would be expected) and the meals are served fresh.

My family and I enjoy your Beyond Meat burgers we find them to be one of the best however the consistency difers from one location to the next which is sad so in observation you cannot treat/prepare all burgers the same we don, t mind waiting a bit longer to have the Beyond Meat burger done fresh not done prior and sitting there, don, t treat it like fast food as the texture is different

Ordered on Ubereats. My wife's order was missing entirely. My burger was the wrong burger. The drinks were incorrect. Literally not a single item on this order was delivered correctly. Good job guys.

Great chicken strips made with real chicken. Onion rings and fries are perfect. Can't beat a root beer in a frosted mug!

I went through the drive thru at the end of the day. There was no attitude and the lady who served me was super nice! She gave me a genuine smile. I've seen so many fake ones that this one made me happy inside. 5 stars!

This place has tables setting very tight and not that comfortable seating area.
Place was cold as well.

Great food, freshly prepared with quality ingredients and good menu choices. My "go to" fast food place that doesn't feel or taste like fast food.

A&W Classic Breakfast! Eggs were fresh, toast was delicious, bacon just how I like it. Hashbrowns were probably the best we have had from a fast food joint. Coffee was GREAT as well! Total recommend for a quick, home-style feel breakfast.

If I want to cheat on my diet, this is the place I go. I have the choice of whole grain bread. Love that they have a sink in the restaurant to wash your hands

A&W is always good. Great burgers, love the root beer. Especially like that they use French's Ketchup, all Canadian from Canadian tomato suppliers.

This is the best A&W location, it doesn't even feel like a fast food chain, instead like a nice upscale restaurant. They have chilled "beer" mugs and cute tiny fries basket. The Beyond Meat Burger is really delicious!

Enjoyed the Canadian breakfast, greasy but tasty. I love the breakfast sausage. And I'm glad they let me have root beer instead of coffee since I avoid coffee as much as possible. Counter girl was new and I can hardly understand her. I need to say my name 2 times and spell it 2 times. Overall, food was good.

Good diabetic options if you replace their buns with lettuce wrapped burgers. Would just rather have them have grilled chicken instead but still an excellent place to eat that's quieter than most during dinner time

Not as advertised

When the Beyond Meat burger came to Canada I was excited to learn that A&W would have them. I went to this A&W, bought one boy was I surprised, it tasted just like a regular veggie burger, I was so upset. For months now I was always turned off by Beyond Meat burgers and never had one again.

Recently I decided to give Beyond Meat another try at another restaurant. To my surprise it was good!

I am now 100% sure that this A&W just uses their regular veggie burgers and passes them off as Beyond Meat.

We went for a quick dinner. The Cod fish burger is out of this world. Highly recommended, i love the 'beyond meat burger, and the sausage because its all plant base.

Not thoroughly impressed by the service received.
1. I, nor the employee taking my order, could understand what either had said very well. Technical error but still frustrating.
2. The wait for my order was in no way fast. After about 10 minutes I recieved my order. When did "fast food" take so long? ! I give them credit, it was fresh but come on.
3. The employee who took my order and money decided it was time to take the garbage out and clean the parking lot a little - while my order was.cooking? Couldn't that have waited until after I recieved my order?
4. I don't think I seen 1 person smile the whole time I was waiting. Not even a "have a good day" or "enjoy! ". They all looked as though they really weren't enjoying what they were doing (can't blame them I suppose).

The only good experience from this - the burger I ordered was on point! Hubby enjoyed his meal too.

Came here the other night and received really great service, everything was prepared fresh and perfectly. I think it was the manager who served me, she was great!

This Restraunt is the best, simply because it is the first and had plenty of time to become the leader in all Drive Thoughs. You will never be disappointed with the Food or the service. Enjoy

First time here. Clean place. My review is only based on the brealfast i got. Cold eggs and cold bacon. The hashbrown was great coffee was suprisngly good as well. Its like any other a and w.

Over priced especially for the portion size. The spicy chicken burger is the best. Sweet potatoe poutine is yummy but again for the price the portion is very small

New meatless burger is awesome would recommend it to everyone. Don't like the combo options compared to other fast-food places.

Except from the occasional (and understandable) missed extra ketchup / mayo when doing the drive-thru, the staff is always friendly and quick to serve.imo- quality flavour is always there

A&W had coupons available online, and I must admit we ordered the same thing from several A&Ws over the course of the promo. (December 2018)

The $12.99 combo includes two Beyond Meat Burgers, two fries, and two drinks. We upgrade cheese and bacon, and sometimes sub sweet potato fries or poutine. The combo tastes great and is an amazing price.in fact, it's such a deal we decided to purchase a combo for Stella. (French Bull Dog)

Thus location is conveniently located on the main roadway Hurontario, and accessible to local traffic off side streets. Inside the store is modern decorated with an open atmosphere. Staff is getting paid minimum wage so don't expect much, they do the job.barely. Staff on three of our visits (same server today) asked us if there was anything else, we answered no thank you, and she proceeded to then ask if we wanted an apple turnover.

I understand this may be 'required' corporate upselling, but this young lady also wears a look of disdain on her face during the entirety of each interaction that makes me wonder whether she does this to scare/intemidate customers into not returning. (or at least not when shes working)

So yeah, the above said.still worth going in and having lunch or dinner. Thats how good the rest of the experience was.

Prices are a bit high but you know what I don't mind. Fast friendly service place is always clean attraxts a wide variety of clientele and most importantly - good food! Burgers are always delicious ranging from the buddy to the Grandpa burger. Onion rings and seasoned fries.and the frosted mug with patented A and W root beer.mmm!
It's also 24 hours so there's that.
